Here’s why: most of you hate him either because you’re jealous (Cristiano is a brilliant footballer and very rich) or because you’re ignorant.

A lot of the hate I see is regarding the allegations that he raped a woman back in 2009. She decided to take it to court almost a decade later. The case was dismissed because the evidence presented by her lawyers was unreliable, if not completely fabricated. Cristiano has always said that he did indeed have sexual relations with the woman, but he has ascertained time after time that it was fully consensual. In sum, it was another Amber Heard case.

At this point, you might think “Okay, he might not be a rapist, but he’s still a rich privileged white man!”.

First of all: white, really?! Have you ever seen a Portuguese person? Let me show you what the average Portuguese people look like.

He left the island he lived in with his family and instead of leaving them behind and forgetting them, he now takes care of them. They all live off his money and his brother, his sisters and his crazy brothers-in-law, live really comfortably.

He loves his mother very much.

His generosity doesn’t stop here, though. Ronaldo is a philanthropist, he always gives big money to charity and to kids who need expensive surgeries. He often works with organisations like Make a Wish.

Ronaldo shows us that it is possible to achieve your dreams, if you work as hard as you can.
