My latest portrait commission are three horse portraits. Here is the 1st one.

This is a digital portrait made to look like an oil painting. As you can see I paint everything by hand just as is I were to paint a traditional oil portrait. My client is gifting these portraits to friends and decided to keep the same back drop with slight modifications. I tried to play with texture and was thinking how gorgous this would look as an oil painting. Unfortunatley everytime a painting gets printed on canvas tactile texture is lost. This digital painting measures 8x10inches and I hope that the recipient will enjoy this very special gift. Here is a slide show of the painting progression.

This tiny birdcage measures 2x3 cm (.75"x 1.25") . The head of the bird is the size of a period and the bird itself just itty bitty. I made a cast of a charm using resin first. Since the charm was already small, my resin cast did not come out too well, so I used hot glue and filled in what was broken or needed fixing. I also had to do a lot of trimming and used my carving toolset from @hutsulscom a small home based American business from Connecticut. Tempus Fugit ~ Time flies when you are having fun. Hubby printed this grandfather clock (see next image) for me and I gave it a vintage look. This time I played around with resin and just love how the watch face is all beveled.
