Finished version of Alex Horne! So surprised that it not only looks like him, but that I rather enjoyed painting a person instead of an animal! I was going to do a colour pass, but I really like how it looks, so greyscale he remains!

Picard in Pastels final scan

So many issues with it, but hey - it kinda looks like him, and it reads as a human being so I will take the win!

As you can probably can tell with my recent flapping around between pencil, pastel, a bit of watercolour and more recently a bit of acrylic - I am still very much trying to find my place as an artist. It's a constant journey and it doesn't help that I flip flop between my love of different mediums!

Colour pencil and pastel still very much winning the battle at the moment!
