shayna ur art feels very relaxed and soothes me + i was wondering. do u have advice for anyone who’s depression over current events is stopping them frm enjoying making art cos its rough out here
When i make art i truly try and relax my mind and just slow down because my ADD makes me crazy, i try to be as organic as possible with my art which is why i only draw in color pencil i dont believe in erasing. HEY MAN..Smoke weed, watch art house movies, make mood boards look at artwork online make collages with magazines that u get at thrift stores for cheap, buy used art books from thrift stores, buy some air dry clay and make urself a pinch pot for a plant or an ash tray, i do a lot of self portrairs to help me become more familiar with my own self image and how i perceive myself. MAKE ART FOR OTHER PEOPLE, see how happy it makes them.
