Though she holds sway in the many political battles in her community, she hasn't obviously exercised her influence to date. Loyal, dutiful, and compassionate on the whole, she struggles when confronted with a choice between what feels right and what seems strategic. On that note: She maintains some unexpected friendships. These include: @Fen Wulf - A young and odd-but-brilliant alchemist-mage from Prophka, who sees Willow infrequently but with mutual fondness. @Zora Marek - It’s Complicated. They met at the Academy, where Zora also studied and is now an instructor, despite being Prophkan. They were closer before Willow was married (aaand not in a purely platonic way). @Hale Abernathy - She has crossed his path twice, though only briefly. He smells like trouble, and she suspects he’s dragging her friends into it.

Toward this end, she has been helping to recall Prophkan mages from Lyssea and may have had something to do with the mysterious disappearances of several Prophkan students from the Academy in Porthome . . . disappearances which have sparked rumors of a potential war between her country and the powerful neighbor to the south.

18+ | Jcink Premium | No WC/App Leif Nyland Islander | 27/28 | Jarl Eirik's Brother Descended from one of the leaders of the First Settlers, Leif was born into a life of expectations and pressure. Though it was his elder brother, Eirik, who was chosen to lead their clan after their father's death, Leif has become increasingly responsible for his people. Add the unexpected conception and birth of his son by a woman he loves (who still won't have him) -- Well, needless to say he has been put to the test, and Eirik needs him now more than ever.

Veil Prophkan | 40s | Mage Advocate Prophkan mages sent to Lyssea for education, under post-war treaty, have started going missing, and Veil's a top suspect. An educator at the Montclair Academy, she has been a vocal advocate for an official system of magical education and organization in Prophka, legitimized by the monarchy. She and her fellows want to stop Prophka shipping their mages off to Porthome's Academy and are exploring how to make that happen, but stealing children? Well, maybe.

Camilla The Smuggler/Pirate Camila isn't a friendly woman, but she's trustworthy . . . for a pirate. While she may not be above stealing and lying for the sake of her business, she's actually very honest on the whole (if you're not a dockmaster), and one who understands how she operates would likely call her reliable. She's something of a Robin Hood, befriending the likes of monsters like Yasmin and finding ways to do some good within the world as it is.

Sayid The Chemist A genius educated by some of the finest minds in Zamhann and one quirky Lyssean mage, Sayid has extensive knowledge of chemistry and medicine, including little-known uses for rare materials. He funds his research by making and selling a variety of medicines, poisons, and pesky compounds and solutions. His work has been particularly concerning to The Silvers, who he has refused to join for more reasons than one. The moral implications of his work have never really been of concern (He's just selling the stuff, not using it to harm anyone), but he's not heartless, and he likes to think he's prioritizing the greater good.
