♕ ━ which fictional characters are your favorites? 回 ━ what are your top four favorite shows?
♕ ━ which fictional characters are your favorites?
There are a lot of characters that are very easy for me to love. But if I have to condense it into like a top five, it’d probably be
1. Kenzou Tenma from Naoki Urasawa’s Monster. I love him. I also love but hate Johan Liebert with a burning passion
2.  Keira Hagai from the Jak series. She’s amazing and I think the devs did her dirty. Don’t get me started on The Last Frontier
3. Suga Koutarou from Forest of the Drizzling Rain. He’s so soft even if at first he seems like an unfeeling bamf. I love him so much and just, wow what a game and story
4. I can’t choose just one so I’ll say the five playable characters in Star Stealing Prince. They’re all precious!
5. and of course my bab Tsubaki. She’s so gentle and kind and writing her has really made me love her character so much.
回 ━ what are your top four favorite shows?
1. Mentioned above is Naoki Urasawa’s Monster. A master of pacing. All 74 episodes are worth it, personally.
2. idk if you would consider these ‘shows’, but for the next two, they are my favorite webseries that I’ve seen, and that is TOME
3. Pork Chop n’ Flatscreen. I don’t remember what episode I left off on but it was still ongoing with the last episode I saw
4. I didn’t watch much, but Black Mirror gave me chills. I loved it, and would like to watch more, but I’m too focused on playing Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni to really focus on any other series
Now Soul Eater, while it’s a great series, wasn’t my favorite, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel like there was too much left out of the manga, and the anime ending? Oof

Lodeka Taiwanese Café, 10689 Lower Azusa Rd., Temple City, CA 91780
Tumblr media
This new Taiwanese café is quite humble – a definite homey mom and pop kind of place. It’s the kind of place you can imagine students hanging out at after school. Prices are on the low side. Most customers are Chinese. The menu says that they do not use MSG.
They have bento boxes (aka Taiwanese rice plates – pork chop rice, marinated pork hock, Taiwanese sausage, fried fish) and snacks. Any bento with boba milk tea is $9.95 or check in on Yelp for a free drink.
The base teas are brewed but each drink is made to order and customizable. I think the tea drinks are all natural. They have old fashioned tea, fresh fruit tea, tea lattes, and creamy tea. They don’t have grass jelly.
Popcorn chicken: The size was generous for a snack. The chicken (boneless, skinless) comes in huge, tender pieces with Chinese five spice and fried basil. The batter is thin, giving the exterior a light crispiness. It’s proper popcorn chicken though I would have liked stronger spicing.
Boba milk tea, made with black tea, was creamy and sweet. The tapioca pearls were fresh, soft, and chewy. The tea was good but didn’t stand out.
Though it’s new, the furniture looks older – I guess they kept what furniture was here before or bought it used? The décor is something they don’t seem to have given much thought. They did put Polaroid pictures of customers around the perimeter. They have free wi-f and board games. A large flatscreen TV was tuned to Taiwanese TV channel.
$10 credit card minimum. Help yourself to condiments and water.
3.5 out of 5 stars.
