Shimmerflame (f) and Glitterfrost (f) sisters with a kitty pet mother, Poolface (f), Bluestream (m), and Puddleshine (nb), Pansyheart (f) and Raggedscar (m)

Shimmerflame - A wise and courageous she-cat. Shimmerflame is a natural leader, she always seems to know what to do and say, she is very diplomatic and many cats believe she would make a good leader one day. Shimmerflame is never afraid to do what she believes is right and would willingly sacrifice her life for her clanmates and she wouldn’t hesitate to bend the rules a little to do the right thing, especially it it helps to avert a battle, 15/10

Glitterfrost - An intelligent and introverted she-cat. Glitterfrost is far less charismatic than her sister, it isn’t uncommon for her to openly show her displeasure at things, she doesn’t see the point in hiding her opinions - for this reason cats tend to leave her be when they don’t have to work with her, but that suits Glitterfrost just fine, she prefers to stick close to those (like Shimmerflame) her are close to her anyway . Glitterfrost has a sharp mind, and will often solve problems that clanmates have been mulling over for a while within moments, she doesn’t like being the centre of attention so where possible she will pass her solution onto Shimmerflame who will present it to her clanmates while still declaring it to be Glitterfrost’s idea even though Glitterfrost really couldn’t care less about who gets the credit, 14/10

Poolface - A calm and kind she-cat. Poolface has a very motherly energy about her, she is extremely approachable and non judgemental, leading her to become somewhat of an agony aunt to her clan, she is always happy to listen to cat’s problems and give out advice. Poolface never panics, even during the most desperate crisis she radiates calm and keeps a clear head, and if often of comfort of cats that may be stressed in such times, often soothing them like one would a kit, her method has never failed to calm a cat down, 13/10

Bluestream- A gentle and skilful tom. Bluestream will never cause harm to another cat unless he absolutely has to, meaning he will often volunteer to guard the camp while his clanmates go on a battle patrol. But this doesn’t mean he can’t defend himself, he is a very skilled fighter, he moves with great speed and precision, he can knock the feet from under a cat before they can blink, he could probably kill a cat just as effortlessly but he would never be able to live with himself if he did, 14/10

P uddleshine - A friendly and curious cat. Puddleshine is always happy to help, they are a popular cat both within their own clan and amongst the other clans - they have an extremely friendly and approachable disposition, and they will never deny a cat in need no matter where they are from. Puddleshine loves to explore and find new things, and they have a small collection of interesting trinkets stashed away just outside camp, Puddleshine finds anything new very exciting, and will often daydream about things they hope to find in future, 14/10

Pansyheart - A nervous and thoughtful she-cat. Pansyheart is a very thoughtful cat, she will never commit to anything unless she has analysed it in her head completely, often leading to her hunting skills to be second to none due to her carefully thought out strategies. This tendency to think things over often leads her to overthink things though and second guess herself, especially when in front of other cats, even leading to her freezing up in battle sometimes, something she finds deeply frustrating, 13/10

Raggedscar - A serious and confident tom. Raggedscar takes his duties very seriously, he wants to be an example to his clan as to what a real warrior should look like, and he makes it clear he doesn’t have time for time wasters - any cats on patrol with him that start to mess around he will let them know exactly what he thinks about their lack of discipline. Raggedscar loves the thrill of battle, he never doubts his skills and views each scar he has as a trophy of a great fight, and he likes to make sure his opponents have something to remember him by, on first impressions alone he greatly respects warriors with the most scars as he sees, 15/10

clan lore pt 1. NAMING SYSTEMS

okay so i’m going to do with the erins never did and kind of lay out a naming system for my clans. each clan has names that they prefer, and i’m going to go kind of in detail about each of them.

EARTHCLAN- earthclan, in terms of naming systems, probably has the most diverse one. (this is because it was my first ever clan and the cats didn’t have naming systems). but most earthclan names are generic prefixes + generic suffixes (sometimes rare). they name quite a few of their cats with the prefix flower (this is usually for the most beautiful/handsome members of the clan) and don’t stick to gender-based naming.  some earthclan examples

swiftcloud (generic prefix + generic suffix)

nightfur (very generic prefix and suffix)

lilypool (tom, medicine cat, his name will be a little different)

brindlenose, poolface, talonjaw, feathernose, clearface etc. (named after body parts)

redflower, blackflower, berryflower, fernflower (considered some of the most beautiful cats in the clan)

occasionally earthclan names will be unique (swansong, echostep, wolfstorm, archwillow, jaybush, blazerunner etc.)

usually they are generic (raintail, foxclaw, russetclaw, tigerpelt, hareheart, etc.)

MOUNTAINCLAN- mountainclan probably has the most “edgy” names. they like to name themselves fierce things to appear stronger to other clans. this is mostly consistent with the toms, and sometimes the mollies, although girls tend to have more “feminine” names. they also love -heart names.  some mountainclan examples

scarstrike, bloodpelt, talonclaw, clawfoot, striketail (generic tom scary names)

riverfang, spottedfire, shadowtail (some “scary” names for mollies)

willowdapple, sleekstep (more feminine names for mollies)

dawnheart, breezeheart, oliveheart (-heart ending names)

STONECLAN- stoneclan has the most unique naming system. typically their names are strange and very unorthodox. they live near the twolegplace, so sometimes their names are influenced by their environment. stoneclan has names we would consider “weird” or “disgusting” (by our standards at least). some stoneclan examples

fishflake, antbelly, gorseburrow (some ‘strange’ names)

smokeweed, mountaindew (just joke names, bc why not?)

horsewing, beeclaw, marshmouse (twolegplace inspired names)

speckledawn, fallenpelt (some ‘nice’ names)

SUNCLAN- sunclan names tend to be the prettiest by our standards. they give their kits mostly nature inspired prefixes and nature inspired suffixes. there aren’t many cats in sunclan with body part names, such fur, pelt, or tail. the toms tend to have more masculine names, while the mollies have more feminine names. but for medicine cats, they tend to have more feminine names in general. some sunclan names

oakflight, emberheart, firestrike, stagfang, hawkwind (masc names for toms)

runningcloud, risingwind, sootsky, ivywing (a little bit less masc names for toms, but not as common anymore)

cherryclaw, sorrelsky, brightstorm (less feminine names for mollies)

mapleflower, brindleflower, rivershine, icefall (fem names)

briarwind, seedstalk, rosebrook, finchflame, seedstalk (nature names)

and that’s pretty much all i have! sometimes names can be unorthodox because of me, but this is the general idea for a clan name in my originial universe!
