Pond Island Light, Kennebec River, Phippsburg, Maine. Until 1937, Pond Island hosted a colony of terns, but the growing gull population forced them to clear out. In 1960, when the light became automated, all the buildings, except the tower were removed. In '73 Care of the island was transferred from the Coast Guard to Fish and Wildlife to be re-established as a tern colony. Thanks to the help of National Audubon, tern decoys and calls were deployed, gull nests removed, and finally in '99 the first common tern chick in over 60 years hatched. Then in 2003, Pond Island recorded its first successful breeding pair of endangered roseate terns.

Found you ( Law x reader / Soulmate AU)
A/N: Hello and welcome to my first Soulmate AU. Where your dreams are full of memories of your soulmate.
The view before you was beautiful. The lighthouse near your little cabin looked beautiful while the sun was about to go down. You took a few steps, looking at your shoes. The hem of your dress was floating while the light breeze calmed your heart down. Before you could explore more, everything turned black while a knock was heard. “Captain, are you there?” It was clearly Bepo’s voice Law heard. Law opened his eyes, groaning in annoyance as he opened the door with a frown. “What is it, Bepo?” He didn’t mean to sound annoyed but he was. Once more Law dreamed of you, his soulmate. He always told himself that it doesn’t matter who it is, he doesn’t care at all. But the more memories he saw, the more he fell in love with you. Knowing what you like and dislike. He was a pirate and finding you was never an option. Law sighed deeply. Bepo felt bad for interrupting his captain's rest. “I just wanna inform you that we don’t need to dock on the next island. Our storage room is pretty full right now.” Law nodded, forcing a rare smile on his face. “Thank you, Bepo.” Law moved past Bepo as the mink spoke once more. “Did you dream of Y/N once more?” He asked and Law froze in place. He told Bepo, Shachi and Penguin about you. About your memories he received while he falls asleep. And even so his friends encouraged him to look out for you or your island, Law denied it. Lying to them by telling them he had no idea on which island you were. Well this wasn’t technically a lie. He didn’t know the name of the island nor where it was. He just knew what it looked like.
Law nodded while turning his head towards Bepo. “Yeah but it doesn’t matter.”
Law was heading towards the deck as he heard Penguin’s voice. “This lighthouse looks pretty old.” The captain stood still, turning his head towards his crewmates. “Yeah, this little cabin as well.” Shachi said and Penguin hummed. “I guess you’re right but the paint of the roof must be pretty new. This red reminds me of a shining ruby.” Without hesitation Law took a few steps back, storming into the room, startling Penguin and Shachi with a loud “eep”.
“Did you say, there’s a cabin with a red roof near a giant lighthouse?” They quietly nodded and Law ran outside, out on the deck, viewing the scenario before him. His eyes widened in surprise. “This is….” He gritted his teeth. A few of his crew members joined him. They were giving him space and were still confused about this sudden reaction of their captain. “C-Captain…?” Bepo asked shyly and shrieked as Law climbed on the railing. “Captain?!” Penguin, Shachi and Clione shouted. “Dock on this island as fast as possible.” He was near enough to use his devil fruit power and before anyone could realize what was happening, Law already shambled himself on the outer space of this island before their eyes.
It was rare for him to lose his temper like this. But he couldn’t help himself. As he was running he knew that he had to jump over this fallen tree to avoid the pond behind it. He knew the shortcut all too well. He could smell the sweet scent of the flowers. Feeling the chilly air. As he exited the forest there it was. The small little cabin with the red roof and the giant lighthouse near it. He tried to normalize his breath and closed the distance towards the door. As he panted his mind was blank. As he was in front of the door he gulped and knocked on the door.
As soon as the door opened, Law catched the flowerpot you had in your hands a few moments ago before it could fall onto the ground. With a light smile he looked into your eyes. “I finally found you….y/n.”

The Dread Wolf's Grave
Notes:
Very short one-shot fic inspired by the quote; 'They asked "do you love her to death?" I said, "speak of her over my grave and watch how she brings me back to life.'
Lavellan's name is Harellan, 'Raven' is Varric's nickname for her.
One of Harellan's nervous habits is rolling coins over her knuckles.
Set sometime during early Veilguard, Solas presumed to be at the Lighthouse rather than in a separate prison.
First ever fic! I am not a writer! I am just a lil guy with a lot of feelings!
And I am so sorry I have no idea how to write Solas and Varric lol.
-----
To say that Varric was uncomfortable was an understatement. It was one thing to ask a dwarf to live on the surface, another thing entirely to ask him to make himself at home in the Fade. Unfortunately, he had little say in the matter. The Veilguard had settled themselves within a deep pocket of the Fade; a safe haven from the blighted elven gods now roaming Thedas, and thus far it had proven to be a wise choice.
Their new home was where he emerged from now, and the morning silence (save for Bellara’s excessive snoring) was a welcome indication that everyone was still fast asleep. Or, at least, everyone but the one elusive elf he was looking for. Once he was confident he had not woken anyone up with his heavy dwarven tread, Varric’s footsteps established a leisurely pace as he descended the stygian steps weaving from the gilded door of the Lighthouse to the shifting island below.
The Dread Wolf’s corner of the Fade expanded before him, shimmering masses of Fade-touched rock floating across the enchanted vista as unhindered wisps of magic soared above him like stars against Kirkwall’s night sky. It was brighter, warmer, but still as commanding as the area of the Fade the fear demon had ruled. Some of the silhouetted islands in the distance would have been large enough to cast a city the size of Starkhaven into complete shadow, and some dipped deeper than even the oldest of thaigs. Smaller rocks housed old and ruined walls, frescos of the fabled wolf glowing faintly from the veilfire sconces and causing him to appear equal parts treacherous and feeble.
The littlest cluster of rocks presented an assortment of ancient elven … trees, Varric assumed. Their metal base gave way to a spherical head that sprouted sharp, golden branches. They wove intricate shapes that moved to shelter a gleaming emerald centre, glinting like fire. This group veered closer to the island he now trudged along, glittering vines with blossoms as large as ponds wrapping themselves around the jagged surfaces and reaching out to grasp their neighbour - a complex walkway of mystic bridges that connected the islands, forming an imposing jungle that served as a shrine to what once was.
Far above him, when he thought to look, Varric could have sworn he could make out the slightest shape of an azure city, light refracting across the landscape as if it was pouring through a window in a Chantry cathedral. The sight was often cloaked in a calculated mist, as though his eyes were intruding on an intimate scene between two lovers - but every time he rubbed his eyes to see it clearer, it had vanished.
Varric had learned that the island he had called home for the past few weeks could shift its appearance depending on his old friend’s mood. While the Lighthouse remained the same, often the Veilguard would wake up to see their interim home had a different garden to explore, each one shaped from Solas’ lonely library of memories. Sometimes there would be luscious fields of green, emerald blades swaying to a song none but they could hear as perfectly round drops of dew dissolved into dazzling specs of light. Other times there were seemingly never-ending pathways; rivers of crystal gems creating a map upon the island, waterfalls replacing cities and curious wisps building toy castles from motes of magic. Once, when Varric awoke in the dead of night (or as close as one could get to that, in the Fade), he peered out his window to see Solas strolling Skyhold’s grounds, his tired eyes never leaving the figures of Cole and the Inquisitor as they helped to soothe a dying woman lying by the campfire, clutching a fatal wound. Had Solas reached out to them, Varric did not know, for he had quickly retreated back to his bed to allow his old friend his privacy.
Today, as Varric disembarked the steps, the soles of his worn boots met an impossibly soft sand that shifted gently beneath his weight. Something resembling seashells dotted the ground, their surface gleaming and moving in a way that made them look more like creatures than collectible souvenirs. Out of baseless paranoia more than respect, Varric carefully picked his way across the fabricated beach to the towering figure in the distance.
Solas stood at the end of the beach, the ripples of the ocean creeping along the sand to stop just shy of the tips of his feet, as though magic itself dare not disturb him. He stood tall, gazing across his domain with an expression befitting his name as the manufactured breeze lifted the ends of his coat. Hands clasped habitually behind his back, a single gold coin rolled lazily across his knuckles, causing tiny spurts of reflected light to shower across his long fingers. Any reasonable dwarf back under the surface might have mistook it for magic.
“Good morning, Varric,” came his familiar voice. He spoke in barely more than a murmur despite Varric still being numerous paces away, yet he heard it as though they were standing next to each other.
“And here I thought it was only Rook who had to listen to your voice inside their head, Chuckles,” Varric shouted back, scowling half-heartedly when he saw Solas’ shoulders betray a small laugh.
Solas patiently waited until Varric had made it to his side before speaking again, finally turning his gaze to his friend with a playful smirk on his lips. “Ir abelas, I did not want to deny you the pleasure.”
Varric let out an indignant snort. “I’m starting to understand why so many dwarves stay below the surface.”
“To avoid speaking with me?”
“Now, now, I didn’t say that.”
“You did not need to,” Solas responded curtly. Varric was glad to see the smile still lingering.
At least he hasn’t lost his sense of humour.
The two fell into a comfortable silence, the sound of the waves crashing a few hundred yards ahead of them filling the space. Had he let his mind tune out for a moment, it would not have been unlike the mornings they had spent waking up to the sounds of the Storm Coast - Solas casting a protective barrier over the campfire before the Inquisitor burst into tears at the idea of going a single moment without her tea; Cassandra cursing from the edge of camp as she tried and failed to prove she could in fact approach a nug without scaring it away; Lace and Varric placing bets on how many more days it could rain before they all lost their minds. He wasn’t sure which put his back up more; being surrounded by suffocating grey and rain, slipping on lethal cliffs that never seemed to dry - or being in the Fade.
It was Solas who broke the silence first, as if sensing Varric’s unease. “How are you adjusting?”
Varric shrugged, stalling as he measured his response. It wasn’t in the nature of their relationship to lie to one another (or so I thought, he corrected himself), but he wasn’t about to start tearing apart his friend’s home either.
“I can’t exactly say I’m keen to settle down and start a family here, but I’ll give it to you - it’s impressive.”
“Thank you,” Solas sighed heavily, his eyes focused on something in the distance. “Imagine what it would be like without the Veil.”
“Chuckles, not now.”
“So, when would you propose-”
“I came here to talk to Solas,” Varric said morosely, feeling a pang of regret as Solas’ shoulders stiffened. “Not the Dread Wolf. How about you humour me, just this once? Then I promise we’ll go back to the uncomfortable ‘Child of the Stone’ and ‘Ancient Elven God’ dynamic.”
Solas silently met his eyes then, and the coin in his hands stilled as white knuckles wrapped around it tightly. Just like the painted walls on the islands floating around them, Varric could see his were tall but crumbling. Exhaustion and pain had sunk their bloodied talons into his sharp features, but under the wolf there was still the man. A friend that desperately wanted to get out.
“I’ve never been good at this sort of stuff,” Varric muttered, turning his gaze back toward the ocean, “but you left a lot of people behind. Good people, that missed you.”
“I am not unaware of that, Varric,” Solas replied. Varric could hear the sharpness to the tone, a warning that he should drop the subject immediately.
They both knew he wouldn’t.
“I mean, even Buttercup seemed upset - although she tried her best not to show it. With you gone, Cassandra became her next target for pranks, and we both know pissing off the Seeker is a dangerous choice at best - lethal at worst. I mean, I’m speaking from experience here.”
A quick glance to his right told him Solas was also very pointedly staring out at the ocean again, doing his best to look the picture of disinterest, but the ironclad set of his jaw gave him away. It always had.
“And Ruffles! I thought she would never stop accidentally adding your frilly cakes to the Val Royeaux order list each month. Eventually, me and the Kid-”
“Did you come out here with the intent to torture me, Varric?” Solas snapped, his proud mask melting away to pained anger as he pressed his eyes closed. His nose scrunched as he breathed through it, the waves that stretched before them stuttering and turning a sickly green. “Do you see me as so many of my People do? Do you also think me a heartless monster with no feelings?”
Against his will, Varric’s mind recalled his friend’s broken sobs as she read Sutherland’s reports about the monstrous demon that had plagued Skyhold. Her heart’s deepest regrets ravaging the place they had once called home, the scars of his past forever embedded in the old Inquisition fortress.
“No,” he sighed. “I don’t think that at all, Chuckles.”
Another deep breath from Solas. The water slowly began to settle once more, melting back to a cool, pure cerulean that would have made the painters at Halamshiral turn crimson with embarrassment.
“Then what can I do for you?”
“Remember,” Varric said shortly.
Solas opened his eyes to peer at Varric with confusion, and he could see the purple storm deep within them threatening to pour out and engulf the island they now stood upon.
Silently, Varric nodded to Solas’ hands, still held tightly shut as though he were frightened of dropping whatever was in them. Solas slowly unfurled his fingers, the gold coin nestled innocently in his palm, small dents pressed into his pale skin from clasping it so desperately. The purple storm observed it silently, eyes barely blinking as they stared.
“I saw you playing with it,” Varric said gently, feeling his friend was more a terrified Halla than the dreaded wolf in that moment. “Raven used to do the same thing, when she was nervous. Ruffles had to pry it from her hand when we went to the Winter Palace.”
Solas continued staring at the coin, his expression unreadable. “She gave this to me on the way to the Temple of Mythal,” he said tentatively, as though testing out the words in his mouth. Varric supposed this was the first time he had allowed himself to speak of her in years. “She said she had no need for it any longer, since she had …”
“Since she had your hand to hold,” Varric finished for him. “She said it loud enough for the entire camp to hear.” The memory almost made him smile himself.
A ghost of a smile tried to lift the corners of Solas’ mouth, but it faltered before it even began.
“I remember.”
Varric did smile then. I knew you were still in there, Chuckles.
“Do you still love her?”
There was barely a heartbeat before Solas tore his eyes away from the coin, wrapping his fingers safely around it once more before straightening to his full height and turning to look along the endless sands.
Varric felt the Fade change before he saw it. The sands before them rippled and swirled, floating smoothly into the air to reveal the harsh black rock of the island below. A deep shadow lurked over the area, a stark contrast to the vivid, colourful sky behind it. The sands shifted and formed a familiar image; tall swaths of darkness encircling a small enclave while a suffocating green mist rolled along the floor, catching Varric’s ankles and sending small tendrils up his legs that dissipated as quickly as they appeared. Paltry red spirits skittered around nervously, as if they were constantly running toward - or away from - something.
This was the graveyard from the Fear demon’s lair. Or - more accurately, Varric supposed - Solas’ memory of it.
There was a slight adjustment, however. Only one, solitary gravestone sat in the enclave. The stone it was made from looked sick, brimming with fear and unspoken terrors, its aura almost oppressive.
Varric approached it wordlessly. The words upon it were the same and yet not as he remembered - the elegant, smug carvings of the fear demon were gone, replaced by hurried, almost infantile writing that looked as if it had been carved with a very sharp claw.
‘Solas,’ it read. ‘Dying alone.’
It was only then that Varric saw them. A spectral version of Solas - his friend, Solas - appeared slowly from the darkness, smiling as he offered a gloved hand to the second figure that manifested. Harellan met his smile with her own, eagerly gripping his hand and laughing as he twirled her into his arms. The scarlet spirits, appearing to be calmed by the two newcomers, turned to watch, sweeping closer to the radiant scene that seemed to consume the darkness around it. Varric could hear the faint sound of a band playing from - somewhere? Nowhere? The memory of his friends didn’t seem to care, nor did they notice him or the cruel grave at their feet. They danced and looked at no one but each other, and Varric was irrevocably certain that they would dance forever if the world would let them.
The lonely voice came from behind him then. It was so thick with immeasurable pain that Varric could not bring himself to turn around.
“Speak of her over my grave, Varric,” Solas murmured, “and watch how she brings me back to life."

Happily stationed in Brindleton Bay with the top spot in the vet clinic, she spends her time walking with the stray cats and dogs around town, decorating and redecorating her home, and sometimes visiting her family in chestnut ridge to free-ride their horses. She hadn't really thought about a spouse for the future, since most of the guys her friend Supriya Delgato (townie) sets her up with are turned off by how animated she gets about her passions. But Dyana, her twin, got wind of this BC and encouraged her to enter. She's dubious, but Viana is willing to give it a shot. And if it doesn't work out, well, at least she has her occasional sneaky link Catarina Linx. 👀 Misc. Info: She loves denim. LOVES denim. Her mom is tomorangi and her dad is Chestnut-Ridgian, so she visits both places often. She thinks the lighthouse is haunted. And--sit down for this--Mayor Whiskers is her least favorite cat in the area.

No siblings, no pets, and if he wants to be around cute animals, he'll visit his distant cousin Viana in Brindleton Bay. Short Bio: You've heard of Mozart and Beethoven, but have you heard of Eldon Ervin? Well, if you watched Judith Ward's last big film, you'd know he was the driving force behind the movie's composition and theme song that catapulted him into stardom. An overachieving genius in every sense of the word, Eldon is looking to release the kind of legendary pieces his idols have in the past. He's noticed that the most heart-wrenching sonatas or concertos were inspired by love. So maybe this BC will bring him the muse he needs. Misc. Info: He likes sitting on benches near ponds and write poems in the rain. His parents are both spellcaster and somehow he came out with no magic at all. We don't talk about that. His favorite animal is a DUCK.

Tears of the Kingdom: The Final Analysis
Part 6
Part 5 here
Link flies through the air on his stone Loftwing.
And what is that? I'm tempted to say it's like the weird circle things down on the surface, but it looks way too smooth. It contrasts the other isles so starkly, though, so it must be something important.
We get a full view of the isles above the southern part of the map. Among the interesting ones are:
This flower-shaped island
This one, with a pond
This shiny stone monument
A lighthouse
And this massive one I'm going to call the City in the Sky.
Then below it we have two malice craters and a glowing tower.
Another glyph towards the bottom looks a lot rounder than they usually are.
Then Link's on one of the islands, facing down two Zonai Construct soldiers.
First off, they've got rusty gear. So it's very likely that Zonai weapons are going to be added to the Rock Octorok cleaning loot table.
And that is a seagull.
So we're near the either the Necluda or Akkala shore.
Link here has fused a Royal Claymore to a Royal Shield, weapons that are typically late game. Unless this is also late game, either they've been nerfed, or they're relatively easy to get early.
Also, shield on a sword lets you parry with a strike. Fun!
Next, Link glides over this floating orb, which looks to be the gatchapon machine from the outside.
The entryway hole has the same kind of greebling along its edge.
In the background of this shot, we can see the Rist Peninsula in the corner.
So the orb is somewhere in this area, northwest of Zora's Domain:
Then you've got all these weird pillar things.
Are they the weird towers from earlier, but taller? Is it something reaching up towards the sky? Whatever it is, it looks fragile and almost liquid-y to me.
Next, Link fights this fireball thing while wearing Flamebreaker stuff.
First, his weapon. Here's a better view of it a few frames later.
The main piece looks like a Cobble Crusher weapon, just without the detailing, and the "pick" of it is the moblin horn that we saw briefly in the battle for Hateno.
Also, in the background of this clip, we've got two baby Gorons watching near the entrance:
So it's very likely that fireball fight is some kind of voluntary challenge against a fired-up Goron.
Though it's worth noting that the room is full of weird splotches in malice red. The Goron could be corrupted, or be trying to fight Link to see who can take on whatever monster is deeper into the cavern.
I've hit image limit again. I'll be back with a link to part 7!
Edit: Part 8!

Hey everyone! Here to finally share more about the farm game au I’ve been working on~ This post is for what the au is about, as well as the map I created for where it takes place! However, there are a number of locations and even the Valley itself that I still haven’t determined the names of yet, this post will be updated when I have though! ( will even take suggestions )
General Synopsis
Moving out and living on his own for the first time, Lambert is the new farmer in Seraphim Town. Having visited the land as a child, even if it was just for a short time, the memories of those days always stuck close with him. Finding out that Ratau, a family acquaintance, was retiring and wishing to sell his farmland, Lambert jumped at the chance to make it his own.
But Lambert arrives to find the land going through a rough patch. The fields aren’t growing crops like they used to, the fishing scene is scarce, amongst other issues. By a chance encounter, Lambert meets a Harvest Sprite, who is overcome with delight at meeting a new sheepfolk and farmer. The sprite- Faun- tells Lambert their woes, that the Harvest Goddess has gone into slumber, and the only way to awaken them once more is to find the 7 Relic Instruments of the land. Playing the instruments will also help to restore everything to its former flourishing self! But nothing will be completely fixed until the Goddess wakes up again.
World Map
Located to the east is the Farmland, right next to the stone bridge that leads out of the valley. On the hill top to the North East above is the Goddess Pond, whose water seems to travel down all the way into the pond located on Forneus’ Kneady Kritters Ranch down south.
Next to the Farmland is a tall hill, and on the other side of that you reach the Festival Grounds of Seraphim town. On either side of the hill are proper paths into town, the southern one takes you to the Ranch as well, and the north branches off to the Goddess’ Pond, entrance to the Darkwoods, and right next to the woods you’ll find the way to the mountains.
In Darkwoods is where many forest beasts dwell, it is highly encouraged to not enter without being properly prepared. There’s a rumor that a tall red mansion stands deep within these woods, but no one has been brave enough to get near it.
To the east of these woods and north of the Farmlands, past the much less dense forest, you can find the remains of some sort of ancient structure. Mysterious in nature, the only few documentation on them can be found at the town’s Library.
Down south from the town, you’ll find Shell Tough Carpenters, right on the cliffside that surrounds the beach, and also located right behind Forneus’ ranch.
On the other side of the beach are the Docks, where all matters of fishing and oversea trade are handled. There’s also an entrance to an underground cave in this area, but is currently off-limits due to safety precautions. Down south is a small island where the Lighthouse is located, with easy sailing access back and forth from it to the mainland.
Focusing back around the town, up in the north west there is a path to the Church, that also splits off into the path towards the mountains up north, with the other path leading to the house of the Sorceress, located right behind the church. This path also leads to the graveyard, watched over by the church.
Behind the Sorceress house you have Spore Grotto, an unusual humid area where mushrooms thrive. Right outside is where the researcher, Sozo, has set up camp to study the place and its secrets. A forest surrounds both the Grotto, House, and part of the Church. There’s an easy to miss trail in the northwest that leads up to a Hot Springs, connected to the side of the Mountains. From the Hot Springs and Mountain peak is where you can see a large rock formation out in the ocean, known as The Eye of the Crown. No one knows why it was given this particular name, aside from the hole formation in it having the appearance of an eye.

Toontown: Corporate Clash Recap: Barnacle Boatyard Tour
Okay so, something funny I learned: The NPC Toon who runs the Gag N’ Go vans, Reid Stock, will use the “Greened Cat” Sticker if a Toon goes sad on the street near the Gag N’ Go.
This makes her the only NPC to use Stickers.
Additionally, the Derrick Man has unique Friend Request rejection messages:
The Derrick Man pauses before answering, “I can’t draw that kind of attention to myself right now.”
“Not exactly the kind of message I was hoping to send,” the Derrick Man says.
“That’s not in the cards, Toon,” the Derrick Man growls.
The Derrick Man responds with a series of burbles.
But now, for a tour of the new Neighborhood.
Barnacle Boatyard can be accessed via the tunnel at the end of Punchline Place. This tunnel leads out into Buccaneer Boulevard.
The Fisherman for this street is a purple cat named Barney.
Buccaneer Boulevard’s Cogs are 10% Lawbot, 80% Bossbot, and 10% Boardbot.
Every non-Manager Cog that spawns on this street has a 7.5% chance of being an executive.
The street forms a sort of coily, zig-zaggy, boxy, rectangle shape. Not sure how to describe it.
The minimum level for Cogs on the Street is 2 while the level cap is 5. This is true across all of Barnacle Boatyard’s Streets.
Barnacle Boatyard’s Playground has a large body of water in the center, with piers that rise and lower into the water, and an island with a palm-tree growing out of it in the center, where Tumbles will be stranded if you completed his task in Toontown Central.
It is possible to swim UNDER the Toon headquarters and into the fishing pond. Yes, this is one of the few places outside of the Toon Estate with water deep enough to swim.
The S.S. Day-Sea sails around the island, stopping at the piers as she passes them, her captain (a light blue duck by the name of “The Captain”) will announce arrivals and departures and sing shanties while sailing around the Playground’s waters.
Clerks Bill (a maroon mouse) and Will (yellow rabbit) run the Gag Shop.
The fisherman for this playground is a red cat named Furball.
The Pet Shop is red, and staffed by Barky, Bloop, and Purr (who do not have articles on the Corporate Clash Wiki, so I don’t know their species).
The Clothing Shop is primarily red with yellow stripes, and is staffed by an orange cat named Longhorn Leeroy.
Toon HQ is designed to resemble a hybrid boat, sailor’s cap, and buoy.
Like all Taskline Playgrounds, there’s also a Trolley here.
The playground’s only unique building is a shop by the name of “The Tell-Tale Carp”, run by a black kiwi named Edgar Allen Pole. He’ll sell you Fishing Rods and Fishing Buckets when you’re a high enough Fishing Level, though you also have to buy the Rods and Buckets in order.
While in the Playground, Toons passively regain 2 Laff every second, and by collecting the Starfish Treasures that spawn underwater, Toons can regain 4 Laff per Starfish.
The other three streets are as follows: Anchor Avenue, Lighthouse Lane, and Seaweed Street.
Anchor Avenue connects Barnacle Boatyard to an under-construction tunnel, and has fewer shops than the other streets.
Across the street from it’s Gag N’ Go is the only remaining Street Toon HQ, and behind that Toon HQ is an alleyway that leads into a pavilion in front of an oddly colored Cog Building. If you attempt to enter this building, your Toon will hear the sounds of security cameras and change their mind.
(Note: The Anchor Avenue G.U.M.B.A.L.L. Machine shares its inventory with the G.U.M.B.A.L.L. Machine in the Playground.)
Past this strange building is the both the street’s fishing pond AND the local fisherman, a red beaver named Freshie.
Anchor Avenue’s Cogs have a 10% chance of being executives, and the Cog population is 55% Sellbots, 35% Bossbots, and 10% Boardbots.
Lighthouse Lane connects Barnacle Boatyard to the Brrrgh. Halfway through the street is a lighthouse. Behind this lighthouse is a series of gear sigils in front of a gateway, and behind this gateway is a foggy pier. Going behind the lighthouse to watch this causes ominous music to start playing.
Across the street from the Lighthouse is a fishing pond, and this street’s fisherman is a sienna cat named Shane.
Cogs on this street have a 15% chance of being executives. The Cog population is 5% Sellbots, 5% Cashbots, 35% Lawbots, and 55% Boardbots.
The fourth and final street is Seaweed Street, which connects to Acorn Acres.
The fisherman is Reed, a coral cat.
Cogs on this street have a 10% chance of being executives, and the Cog population is 30% Sellbots, 60% Cashbots, and 10% Lawbots.
When fishing, this is the best place to catch Dogfish, and the following fish species can only be fished up here:
Bull Dog Fish
Hot Dog Fish
Dalmation Dog Fish (can also be found at Estates)
Old King Crab (Lighthouse Lane, can also be found more commonly in a later Neighborhood)
Kiddie Pool Sharks (can also be found in a later Neighborhood)
Swimming Pool Sharks (can also be found in a later Neighborhood)
Olympic Pool Sharks (can also be found in a later Neighborhood)
Next time, we go over the new Cogs you can fight here.

When you love what you‘re doing! - The Perfect Storm
youtube
„The fog's just lifting. Throw off your bow line, throw off your stern. Head out to South channel, past Rocky Neck, Ten pound island. Past Niles Pond where I skated as a kid. Blow your airhorn and throw a wave to the lighthouse keeper's kid on Thatcher Island. Then the birds show up, black backs and herring gulls, big dump ducks. The sun hit ya, head North, open up to 12, steamin' now. The guys are busy, you're in charge. Ya know what? You're a goddamn swordboat captain! Is there anything better in the world?“

Narraguagus Light, Pond Island, Narraguagus Bay, Milbridge, Maine. In 1878 an inn and clubhouse were built on Pond Island. In summer, The Gott family were happy to have guests of the inn pop by the lighthouse for a visit, and on Sundays they regularly hosted gatherings. Winters were rather lonely though.

Cape Cod Trip added bonus Maine and Rhode Island
4 Day & 6 Day Adventures
Trip 1 Cape Cod, Plymouth, P-town, Martha’s Vineyard
September Trip 2020 4 days
Stayed in an Air b&b at Yarmouth
Day 1 Plymouth Rock and Pilgrim Memorial State Park.
When the first settlers first stepped onto land here, they did so because of the protected bay. Early in the 18th century, nearly a century after the landing, one of their descendants identified a certain rock as the place of that first landing. The famed rock, which has been broken, moved, and put back together, now sits at the seashore protected under a classical columned canopy.
The Mayflower II the tall masts of Mayflower II rise above her decks, a reminder of how this all started. Built in England during the early 1950s, the ship arrived in Plymouth in 1957 and today serves as an important way to relate the tale of European settlement in America. As well as can be determined, the ship is a full-scale replica of the original.
Day 2 Martha’s Vineyard Daytrip
Steamship authority vineyard: ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
We started at Oak Buffs were we rented an e-bike. The six-mile bike ride from Oak Bluffs to Edgartown is known for being a gorgeous and manageable ride, including riding over Jaws Bridge!
Oaks buff is known for its distinctive Victorian architecture with 300 colorful cottages designed to look like gingerbread houses.
We continued to Edgartown, with its quaint harbor complete with an 80-year-old lighthouse. A former hub for the whaling industry, admire the stately Greek revival mansions built by ship captains.
We Traveled along the idyllic countryside and small fishing villages. We then took a taxi the technicolor cliffs of Aquinnah.
The Aquinnah Cliffs – formerly known as Gay Head – is one of Martha's Vineyard's most-visited tourist spots, with bus and bike tours congesting the paved roads in the peak summer season. But the epic clay cliffs, which were carved by glaciers millions of years ago, are worth the trek. Visitors can explore the lower beach paths to see the cliffs up close and stretch along the sands at Moshup Beach. Or take the upper trails to the top of the cliffs to catch a glimpse of Gay Head Light and nearby Elizabeth Islands.
The Aquinnah Cliffs are part of the island's Wampanoag reservation and under special environmental protections to deter erosion.
Day 3 Cape cod waterways boat rental on swan river. Swan Pond River is Located right on the banks of the Swan River Cape Cod Waterways boat rentals offer four different boat models to choose from: Kayak, Stand Up Paddle Board, Canoe, and Pedal Boat rentals!
The Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown, Massachusetts, was built between 1907 and 1910 to commemorate the first landfall of the Pilgrims in 1620 and the signing of the Mayflower Compact in Provincetown Harbor.
Provincetown
Provincetown is at the northern tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. P-town is known as a longtime haven for artists, LGBTQ. Numerous galleries plus restaurants, nightclubs, cabarets and specialty shops are clustered on and around lively Commercial Street.
Long Point Lighthouse 5mile Trail
Begin at Pilgrim first landing park, walk over a jetty for a mile towards long point. Follow the shoreline towards a lighthouse. The first light was built in 1827 and became automatic in 1952.
Day 4 Pilmouth Plantation
Plimoth Patuxet is a complex of living history museums in Plymouth, Massachusetts founded in 1947, formerly Plimoth Plantation
The largest of which is the 17th-century English Village. On ground carefully chosen to reflect the topography of the Pilgrims' original settlement, and following the same street layout, the village authentically recreates the reality of those hard first years in the Plymouth Colony.
The following year we did a 5 day trip in July 2021
Trip 2 Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Gloucester, Cadem Hills State Park, Arcadia, Rhode Island (Newport).
July trip 6 days 2021
Day 1 Yarmouth July 10
Plymouth Rock, Provincetown and Plymouth first landing
MacMillan Wharf, 450-foot-long MacMillan Wharf. Aside from setting off on ferries and sightseeing tours, it is a picturesque spot to amble along and gaze out over the bay, boats and coastline.
Day 2 Martha’s Vineyard July 11
Ferry/bus we took the bus to the bridge that was made famous by the movie Jaws. We rented kayaks and stopped at the bridge to view locals and tourists jumping of the bridge.
Day 3 July 12 Whale watching Trips to Stellwagon bank marine Sanctuary
It encompasses 842-square-miles of some of the most productive ocean waters anywhere in the northwest Atlantic.
While the frequent presence of Humpback whales, Finback whales, Right whales and sometimes other endangered whale species no doubt gives the sanctuary its public appeal and worldwide recognition, this marine sanctuary was created in order to protect all of the great diversity of marine creatures that depend on these waters for all or part of their life cycle.
The sanctuary was named after its principal geologic feature: a shallow, underwater sandbar known as “Stellwagen Bank.” There is more to the sanctuary than just Stellwagen Bank, however. The sanctuary encompasses many other equally important areas; most notably “Jeffrey’s Ledge” which is just to the north of Stellwagen Bank itself.
You can think of Stellwagen Bank as a huge, underwater sandbar that it is about 24 miles long, 3-5 miles wide at its northern end, and just under 14 miles wide at its southern end. It rises above the surrounding seafloor to a height the equivalent of an 11-story building, with waters on top of the Bank ranging between 65 and 120 feet in depth and surrounding waters being between 250 and 350 feet deep.
Geologically speaking “The Bank” is an underwater extension of Cape Cod and this can clearly be seen in maps of the seafloor. As you can see in the map below, Stellwagen Bank is situated directly between Cape Ann and Cape Cod, a location that led many fishermen to refer to the area as “Middle Bank.”
Cadem Hills State Park camp out
Located a few minutes north of Camden on U.S. Route 1, the park offers year-round trail activities and camping. Winter camping, in a rustic shelter, is also offered and available by reservation by calling the park. 1.1 out and back trail, renowned for the panoramic view of Camden Harbor and Penobscot Bay from the top of Mt. Battie, which inspired Edna St. Vincent Millay's poem "Renascence," the park still inspires wonder in visitors today.
Mt Battie
Day 4 July 13 Hike & Acadia National park
After camping in Camden State park we stayed at an Air b&b right in town in southwest harbor, Me. It was 25 mins from Acadia National Park.
We did 2 trails, the first was a simply path along the coast call Ocean Path.
Ocean Path Distance 4 Miles out and back length of time 1.5-2.5 hours.
The second was Beehive loop Trail it is 1.4 miles , Strenuous hike, Length 1-2 hours. I do not recommend this for beginner hikers or young kids there are sections of narrow cliffs ledges and non technical climbs up metal rungs. My son was 5 at the time but we hike rock scrambles so he was trained well for this one. Def an amazing hike for advance hikers!
Day 5 July 14 Rhode Island
The next day we went back to Rode Island we stayed in an air b&b on a boathouse with such an amazing night view.
Day 6 July 15 Sunset mimosa Sail Newport
The next dat we drive 45 mins to Newport for a 75-minute sail highlighting 5 different lighthouses at the southern end of Narragansett Bay. few other points of interest around Newport Harbor and lower Narragansett Bay. We boarded the Schooner Adirondack II 80 foot turn of the century style pilot schooner.
For lunch we had reservations at the The morning Restaurant to enjoy New England Lobster. The Restaurant was located right in the wharf, with breath taking views of the harbor. I highlight recommend this restaurant!

January 30 - 31, Days 34 & 35 (6 months to go)
Guayaquil, Equinor - I had really never heard of this place and what a great experience it turned out to be. It is the closest place to the Galápagos Islands and people use this city as a jumping off point to see the islands. The city has a long waterfront next to the Guayas River which has been turned into a beautiful promenade named after Simon Bolívar. The promenade is about 4 kilometers long and has many bronze statues, a amusement park, beautiful flower gardens, several ponds, restaurants and souvenir booths. There were four towers along the promenade representing the four elements - fire, earth, air and water. Also a three masted schooner that belongs to the yacht club.
In the north part of the city there is a large “Santa Ana” hill full of colorful houses and a long staircase with 444 numbered stairs lined with museums, art galleries, cafes, bars, restaurants, a chapel and a lighthouse. At the foot of this hill is a neighborhood called Las Penas which at 400 years is the first and oldest neighborhood in Guayaquil. There are several heritage houses that can be visited alone an old stone covered road thru the neighborhood leading to a newer area called the Santa Ana port. There is a newly built promenade along this area with some wonderful restaurants. We had supper at a place called Mama T’s and had shrimp in a plantain cup which was really outstanding.
