Rant.

I've never in my life doubted myself more than now. I just feel like a failure, and trying to conform to society's "standards" is killing me slowly. Like fuck dude, just because I want to stretch my ears, have a kick ass chest piece and sleeves, or dye my hair a color not normally found in nature doesn't make me any less amazing at my job. It doesn't mean I'm not as good as someone who doesn't have those things. It means I have a personality and that's how I choose to make myself beautiful. Are you really gonna care what I look like when I'm pushing your chest in performing cpr? When I'm helping to birth your baby? When I save your child's life? No you're just gonna say thank you and be grateful. So don't get all uppity with me, thinking I'm less than you because of the way I choose to express myself. Just be grateful I decided to fucking study medicine to save ungrateful asses like you.
