🇬🇧 Lahaina's historic Pioneer Inn was built in 1901, at a time when there were no guest lodgings on the islands. It’s the oldest hotel operating continually in Hawaii. Today, with a pleasant courtyard and saloon, this historic charm hotel is a place full of history. It’s gentle on the wallet and if you’re trying to catch the ferry to Lanai, it couldn’t be more convenient. Besides, the view from there is fantastic to watch sunsets or spot some whales during the season! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🇵🇹 O histórico hotel Pionner Inn em Lahaina foi construído em 1901, na altura em que não havia nenhum tipo alojamento nas ilhas. 🇬🇧 The Big Island is known for the volcanoes and black sand beaches. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to see so many green areas and waterfalls like I saw, mostly after the big eruption of last year. One of the main attractions of this island was the lava flows but since last year there isn’t any molten lava to see. However this Island still was a lot of impressive landscapes to explore! Thanks @kilauealodge for hosting us in this peaceful place 🙏 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🇵🇹 A Ilha do Hawai é conhecida pelos seus vulcões e praias de areia preta. Sinceramente, não estava à espera de encontrar tantas áreas verdes e cascatas como encontrei, principalmente depois da grande erupção do ano passado. Esta ilha é muito conhecida pelos rios de lava mas desde do ano passado que isso já não é possível de se observar. No entanto, esta ilha continua a ter impressionantes paisagens que vale a pena explorar! 🇬🇧 During our stay in Maui, we visited Lanai with @sailtrilogy Lanai, originally an island-wide pineapple plantation, (it once hosted the world’s largest pineapple plantation “dole”) now is known for its quiet and peaceful beauty and luxurious resorts. Lanai is home to just 5,000 residents, there aren’t any fast food companies (only local restaurants and companies) or traffic lights. Probably the safest place in United States where are zero crime. The beauty and serenity of this island is remarkable ! If you visit Maui, I totally recommend you to do a tour with @sailtrilogy to visit lanai! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🇵🇹 Durante a nossa estadia em Maui, visitamos a ilha de Lanai com @sailtrilogy Lanai originalmente uma ilha criada para a plantação de ananás (já teve a maior plantação de ananases do mundo da marca “dole”), hoje é caracterizada pela sua serenidade e os luxuosos resorts. Lanai tem somente 5,000 habitantes, não há companhias/restaurantes de fast food (somente companhias e restaurantes locais) e não há semáforos. Provavelmente o sítio mais seguro dos USA, onde há zero crime. A beleza e serenidade desta ilha são notáveis!
