Secretary of Coronation Property Convicted of Assault in 2017
Coronation Property, which boasts of formerly employing ex NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro, is run by developer Joe Nahas and prominent Sydney businessman John Landerer, who is set to be questioned in court about the iProsperity "ponzi" scheme. The company claims to have over $5.3 billion worth of developments in the pipeline.
Andy Nahas, family member to Joe Nahas, has been a secretary of Coronation Property since July 2016, the same year in which he was charged with Assault.
The police alleged that the assault occurred at the Tilbury Hotel in Woolloomooloo during a work Christmas function after a “verbal argument” ensued over “derogatory comments made by the accused (Andy Nahas) towards the manager’s haircut.”
The police facts state:
“The accused failed to quit the licensed premises as requested several times by the manager and security attached to the hotel. During security’s efforts to remove the accused from the licensed premises, the accused puffed his chest out, waved his arms about, made several advancements towards the security guards, raised his voice and began swearing loudly.”
“…the accused raised his right hand and in one single motion slapped the security guard across the right side of his face. This caused the security guard the (sic) take a step back away from the accused. Several other security guards have grabbed the accused to prevent any further assaults.”
It can also reveal that director of Coronation Property, John Landerer, provided the presiding magistrate a character reference for Nahas.
“I have known Mr Nahas, the Defendant, for the past 7 years both in a personal and professional capacity. Mr Nahas is a builder by profession having been involved in the construction of many multi-level apartment blocks over a number of years… I have no hesitation in advising my opinion that the offence is a one off incident not likely ever to be repeated based on my belief that Mr Nahas is a man of honesty and integrity and proud of his family’s high standing in the community”
In 2017 Andy Nahas was convicted of the assault and fined $800.
The assault charges and conviction came after Police charged Nahas along with other figures in the construction industry with what they alleged was a Bikie linked kidnapping in 2009. At the time the Sydney Morning Herald reported that police alleged that Nahas was a "Bandidos Associate". All charges against Nahas relating to that incident were ultimately withdrawn.
It was reported that earlier this year ex NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro had taken up a role as executive director of Coronation Property, advising the parliamentary ethics adviser that “there may be some level of engagement with both state and local government”.
Announcing he’d taken up the role Barilaro posted on his Linkedin:
“It’s rare in life to come across an opportunity where the vision excites you and the passion of the individuals behind the name is so infectious that it captures you. Let me introduce to you, #CoronationProperty. My next chapter begins.”
It is unknown if Barilaro was aware of the charges when he took up the role. It has now been informed that Barilaro is no longer employed by Coronation Property.
Questions were posed to Andy Nahas and John Landerer. A legal threat was sent back on behalf of Andy Nahas.
The revelations come as part of a large investigation has undertaken. A video with further information surrounding Coronation Property is set to be released soon.

Secretary of Coronation Property Convicted of Assault in 2017

So, the theft of Pokémon isn't Team Rocket's primary enterprise for a variety of reasons.
Stealing Pokémon was fairly common when Team Rocket first came about--enough so that it basically became what they were known for--as a means to destabilize the ruling power, retrieve the Pokémon that had been stolen from the people of Kanto, and add to their own force.
Originally, it worked out rather well--especially since post-war Kanto had a very “guerilla” style of Pokémon raising, where speed and power was emphasized over emotional bond, which made it easy for Team Rocket to “reprogram” them to be loyal to them instead of their original trainers.
As time went on, many grunts can and do steal Pokémon, it’s not the favored means of generating revenue or obtaining Pokémon for the enterprise.
For one, it’s a very noticeable activity. Most stolen Pokémon are reported which causes unwanted attention for the organization as a whole.
Secondly, many stolen Pokémon actively attempt to return to their trainer, rendering the entire process pointless. If they don’t manage to escape, it still makes them incredibly difficult to train to suit Rocket’s goals.
Thirdly, the value of these stolen Pokémon is incredibly niche. If the Pokémon cannot be trained, the options are to sell it to someone wiling to deal with the misbehavior, kill it for parts, release it back to the police, or otherwise put it to work.
All in all, it’s much more efficient and much less risky to simply mass capture and train Pokémon for a specific purpose.
That being said, there is still one specific group that is especially a target for Pokémon theft: neglectful, abusive trainers; usually younger, richer trainers that have no real attachment or value of a Pokémon.
These Pokémon are often thankful to be freed from the trainer, and that immediate emotional bond is extremely valuable and easy to manipulate to Team Rocket’s will. There’s no risk of the Pokémon trying to get away, and many of them, given their entitled nature, don’t even bother to report the theft, or if they do, aren’t taken seriously or given priority. And in the case that they are tracked down, demanded to surrender the property, it puts the officer in a moral predicament: ah, yes, officer, here you go, return this Pokémon that clearly doesn’t want to go back to the owner that mistreated it.
If Giovanni has a new Pokémon, especially one that isn’t native to the region or isn’t Ground-type, you can almost be certain he stole it from some asshole that wasn’t minding his belongings.
As for what they do with the Pokémon: virtually anything to turn a profit.
In many cases, this involve simply doing what’s already legal but avoiding the regulations in order to offer cheaper / faster / illegal services; such as Miltank milk, Slowpoke tail, or Cubone skulls.
Services that put Pokémon to work are also common; really, Giovanni sees no difference between using Pokémon to battle for entertainment and using them for an actual purpose such as powering devices or being used for manual labor.
Selling of Pokémon. Delivering Pokémon to interested buyers across the world; in many cases getting new and unique Pokémon in the hands of people who may otherwise never be able to get them in a world that encourages “go out and explore and catch them yourself.”
Enhancement of Pokémon. Not necessarily genetic experimentation as Giovanni is rather turned off by that, but research into how to supplement their training. Vitamins. Diet.
That being said, Giovanni himself has quite strict morals and in general takes extremely good care of the rackets and Pokémon involved. Team Rocket has documented training methods that keep Pokémon in physical, mental, and emotional shape, while quickly and efficiently training them to actively want to contribute to the cause. In essence, it’s brainwashing, but, again, Giovanni sees it as no different than training Pokémon to fight one another.
He’s a businessman--he’s very keen on what works best, what turns the best profit, and what is provably the most efficient. In many cases, this means keeping Pokémon happy and healthy. In some cases, it means contributing to causes seeking to keep Pokémon from going extinct. Breeding programs, reintroducing Pokémon that were previously eliminated. You can’t profit from a Pokémon that doesn’t exist, after all. Funding research into better, more efficient means of training and improving Pokémon.

Too often, I see Batman portrayed as an extension of the Gotham City Police Departments, which should just never be the case. Batman doesn’t work for the GCPD, he doesn’t even necessarily work with them, he is a free agent because the GCPD is corrupt fro the head down. Commissioner Gordon is the one and only police officer in all of Gotham who gives half a shit about protecting and serving, so he risks his own ass to help a vigilante fight for what’s right because the official law enforcers are part of the problem. When someone complains that Batman is acting extra-judicially, that he is an unsanctioned vigilante, they’re missing a huge point of his character. He isn’t just some cop wanna-be who takes the law into his own hands because he wants to punish “bad guys,” he’s fighting the system and doing what Gotham’s cops won’t do. The cops take dirty money to look the other way and let the mob do what they want, so Batman cracks down at the source. He’s a detective, he exposes their crimes so they can’t just be swept under the rug. He can’t go through the legal channels to fight them because the mob controls the legal channels.
Batman doesn’t arrest homeless people for sleeping in public, he doesn’t entrap sex workers, and he doesn’t just “beat up mentally ill people.” Batman fights corruption because no one else will. Bruce Wayne pays his taxes, but knows that the money is being wasted to line the pockets of local bureaucrats, so he runs a ton of charities at cost to make sure the money goes where it should. He opened a dozen homeless shelters and halfway houses throughout Gotham and its suburbs, he owns multiple rent-controlled apartment buildings so workers don’t have to break the bank or commute from hours away, he started a bunch of after school programs and gives away millions in college scholarships every single year. He owns a ton of businesses across the country and hires ex-cons to give them a leg up as they integrate back into society. He remembers the names of every single one of his employees, he remembers their birthdays, he gives them paid time off whenever they need it, he provides them the best insurance money can buy, and has a strict 5:1 rule where his yearly pay can only be 5 times what the entry level starting salary is. That’s more than he needs; every cent above that 5:1 threshold goes towards charity, and he takes time to go over the books himself to make sure nobody is skimming anything off the top. He has promised to give away 100% of his fortune before he dies; as his bank accounts grow year by year, so too do his charitable contributions, and true to his word his net worth is slowly going down because of them.
Bruce Wayne didn’t make his billions, he inherited them from his parents; however good they were, however charitable and beneficial they may have been, they still hoarded ungodly amounts of money for no reason. Thomas and Martha Wayne are Bill and Melinda Gates; sure they do good things, but they had to step on a lot of people’s backs to get there, and they still held onto the vast majority of their fortune. Bruce Wayne inherited all of this money when he was a child and was raised by his butler, so he never grew up to be a conniving greedy businessman. He has no attachment to his wealth, he doesn’t see it as his own personal property because he never had to work for a single cent of it, he sees it as potential for the rest of the country. Like the story of the starfish, he can’t help everyone but he can change the lives of those he does help.

⌜MAXENCE DANET-FAUVEL, MALE, HE/HIM⌟ welcome to chatsworth academy, ASTERIUS NOWAK. it says here, that you are TWENTY-THREE, in THIRD year and that you’re here for your ARCHERY skills? is it true high school you were voted most likely to OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT, well, that’s interesting.╱ SILENT ARROWS FLYING DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO YOU, THE EERIE FEELING WHEN YOU KNOW YOU ARE BEING WATCHED, RIPPED PAGES FROM BOOKS ╳ ◤ Lis, 26, cst, she/her. ◢
alcoholism tw
Born to a middle class family, Asterius saw little of the mid-class comforts because when he was three, they lost everything they had.
Mr. Nowak was the employee of a very powerful businessman, one that drank expensive champagne with the royalty and elite. Asterius’ father was nothing but a loyal and obedient man to a boss that pretty much only cared about making his next million ( no matter the destruction left behind ).
A business didn’t go well and instead of sacrificing a couple of millions, the rich man gave away Mr. Nowak’s head and properties. Poor man, little did he know his own money and properties were also being fiddled with when he signed a bunch of contracts with little clauses.
The family was left in the street and had to move to a dangerous neighborhood that was pretty much forgotten by the gods. Mr. Nowak threw himself into the arms of cheap booze while Mrs Nowak did as much as she could to take care from Asterius and his little sister, but the desperation to have a better life and the lack of motivation from her husband usually started heated fights between the couple.
Asterius, of course, grew up with the worst company and quickly falling into thievery and little crimes to bring some food to the table and some fun into his own life. One talent that he always possessed was a strategic mind and a really good aim, something that would come in handy some years later.
He spent his life in and out detention and then in and out the police station where he would sleep a couple of nights since his family had nothing to bail him out. A busted lip and black eyes were usual on him to the point that his mother stopped asking, but remained worried nonetheless when Asterius would bring in jewelry for her that was clearly out of their reach, but he never gave any explanation.
The boy grew up hating anyone privileged and rich upon receiving nothing but patronizing looks and horrid jokes towards him and anybody who was less privileged, specially from those who knew his father’s story. EAT THE RICH . One night, after getting drunk and grabbing his archery kit ( you are right, it wasn’t damn cheap, but he had stolen saved enough to get one ) and some sweet words to the daughter of the range field got him some useful lessons ), he walked towards the main building of the businessman that ruined his life in first place. Poorly-made molotov bombs that never exploded, messages attached to arrows and rocks broke the crystals and he was quickly captured by security and sent to a cage for some time ( with the low risk prisoners, thank gods ).
His mother left Mr. Nowak in the meantime and after going out, Asterius went low profile for a while and pretty much decided to give it up, get a horrible job and die at 28, but OH! Hope and second chances come in the weirdest of ways. He was walking around downtown when he came across a tv add about a competition and the winner would be eligible for a scholarship in the prestige Chatsworth Academy. The idea originally disgusted him, but then his brain started to work and oh, imagine how many things he could get his hands on in there, imagine how many spilled secrets and ignorant royalty he would stumble upon; the amount of POWER he would get from gathering so much information from these dumb rich kids. The best way to destroy an enemy is to do it from the inside.
So he goes, participates and wins. Surprise surprise! One of the men in the jury was the same businessman that left his father in absolute misery; still, the man seemed oddly thrilled to throw this dirty kid into a school full of polished nice young people that would probably devour him alive. So a silent challenge is accepted: How long can Asterius Nowak last in a privileged school?
PERSONALITY
No filters whatsoever, very filthy mouthed. Never says no to a challenge even if it might kill him. Friendships weren’t very common, but he is one loyal mf and so, betrayal is the worst for him and a deal breaker in any scenario; one to sleep around if the opportunity arises, though, sweet tongue if necessary, but he will be gone by the morning and then most likely deny the fact that you guys had anything to do with each other. Asshole and one to get into petty fist fights with everybody for whatever reason. Trashed out James Dean that is secretly amazed by all of the pretty things given to him in the academy and the bed? Damn, he has never slept so well. Still hates the rich though, if you are wealthy, he is not giving you his time ( yeah, sure ). Member of the chess and martial arts clubs because you gotta keep both your mind and body trained, right? A very ANARCHY kind of mindset, always willing to make a car explode and to get in trouble.
PINTEREST
CONNECTIONS
Friends?? I guess?? He gotta get them at some point.
Flings / One night stands / fuck buddies. A d*ck with legs, that’s what he is.
People that recognize him from the archery competition maybe? Either his name moved around or your chara was in there either participating or watching.
Unrequited crushes from either side
Maybe the businessman that played his family dirty has his children in here as well? I would love to see that aaahh!
Anything else we can definitely brainstorm!

Beneath the Stars
Title: Beneath the Stars Request: Hi I was wondering if you could do a sam x reader where they’re on a hunt and to stop the monster they have to burn the place they are down and the reader gets trapped in the building and maybe even under some debris and Sam has to rescue them like partly angst partly fluff I just love your writing and wanted to see how you would take this on thnx ❣️ - @supernatural-02 Pairing: Sam x Reader Warnings: fire?? some descriptions of injuries/pain?? some angst?? but with fluff as well. and maybe some mild swearing but i can’t really remember Word Count: 3,619
note: so this turned out a little longer than i expected, but i hope you like it! thank you so much for the request! also i’m super duper tired tonight so i won’t be completing any ship requests tonight - I’ll work on them tomorrow! :)
“So, get this - turns out O’Connor was cremated,” Sam declared, eyes glued to his laptop screen. You frowned, glancing up from your own research, whilst Dean scoffed in the corner.
“Great - what the hell is he attached to, then?” Dean muttered. “The dude was loaded, had estates all over the country - why is he here? Just sayin’, if I was a ghost, I wouldn’t be sticking around this piece of crap town if I could be in a mansion in LA.”
Sam rolled his eyes, leaning back in his chair and loosening his tie. As he and Dean began to bicker, you turned back to your laptop, continuing your research of the history of the house in question. It wasn’t spectacular - an abandoned two storey in rural Kansas, home to businessman Ross O’Connor, who died in “suspicious circumstances” in his own bed in 2014, aged forty. He’d been the last known resident of the property, and all seemed well until a few months ago, when interest was displayed in gentrifying the area. Every real estate agent who took on the house turned up dead a few days later, and what little evidence the three of you had managed to collect pointed you in O’Connor’s direction.
Your eyes skimmed the page, burning and strained from the blue light. While Sam and Dean had been in their FBI getups procuring as much intel as they were able, you’d been in the motel researching every lead they sent you. Their voices faded into the background now, nothing but a faint irritation as the words on the screen seemed to melt together. Your head hurt, and you vaguely wondered if you’d remembered to eat today. Sighing, you pulled away from the screen, slamming the lid shut.
“I’ve got nothing,” you declared. “I’m hungry, I’m exhausted, my head’s killing me. How about we head to bed and pick this up tomorrow?” you suggested, and the boys sighed, nodding their assent. As Dean headed for the shower, you laid on your bed, pressing your hands over your eyes in an attempt to block out the glaring fluorescent light. Stars bounced across your vision from the pressure, sparkling blue and yellow and red as they danced over your closed eyelids, lighting up the darkness as your eyes complained against your fingers. You felt the bed dip and glanced up to see Sam sitting at its foot. He offered you a small smile, though his eyes were warm with concern.
“Hey, you okay?”
You sighed. “Fine. I just feel like I’ve hit a wall,” you muttered, and the corner of his mouth twitched in sympathy.
“We’ll get there - we always do,” he assured you, moving to lay down next to you. You nodded, curling into his side as his arm circled your waist.
“Yeah, I know, but… it’s not just with the case. This, hunting, it’s all just… what are we working towards, Sammy? It’s not like we’re ever gonna get rid of all the monsters, so… what’s even the point?” you mumbled. Sam sighed, kissing the top of your head.
“Yeah, I know. But… we’re helping people, Y/N. Once we finish this case, who knows how many lives we’ll have saved?” he asked.
“Sure, I guess… and then they’ll gentrify this place, up the real estate prices, then rich people will kick all the poor people out. How’s that for helping people?” you scoffed. “It doesn’t make sense - this O’Connor guy, wouldn’t he be all for that? Everything I’ve read about him makes him seem like a total dickwad who let money get to his head. I’m just not seeing any motive for preserving that stupid house,” you said, and Sam frowned.
“You’re right, it doesn’t make any sense,” he said slowly. “And what Dean said earlier… he’s got a point. What is there here that this guy is attached to? He only moved here a month before he died. Nothing in this case is making any sense. Maybe we’ve got it wrong,” he mused. You made a noise of discontent.
“Well, we can work that out in the morning,” you mumbled. “I’m exhausted.”
Sam smiled sympathetically, rubbing your back as he pressed a kiss to the top of your head. You leaned into his warmth, his hard chest a far more appealing surface than the thin motel pillow. Your eyes fluttered as you struggled to keep them open, finding yourself focussing on the stars just visible through the tiny motel window. One thing had to be said for finding yourself in the middle of nowhere, even amidst the frustration of an unsolvable case - at least you could see the stars, see whole galaxies stretching across the sky, beautiful and glimmering and free. The stars faded into darkness as your eyes fell shut.
“Get some rest,” Sam urged, moving to run his fingers through your hair. “I love you,” he reminded you, and you smiled sleepily, burrowing your face into the crook of his neck and placing a soft kiss to the warm skin.
“Love you, too.”
---
It was barely 8 o’clock when Sam’s phone rang - another death. He sighed, alerting Dean as the two of them donned their FBI gear. You settled back in bed, computer in your lap as you continued to research. When Sam and Dean returned a few hours later, you glanced up hopefully, only to be met with downtrodden expressions and a heavy atmosphere that threatened to crush any flickers of hope you still held.
“No luck?” you asked, and Sam shook his head, shedding his jacket and collapsing next to you, glancing over your screen helplessly. You could smell the fresh air still clinging to his hair and clothes, taste the sweetness of the countryside on the breeze that crept inside when the door opened. His skin was flushed from the midday sun.
“Nope,” he affirmed. “How about on your end?”
You sighed. “Nothing.”
“Maybe we’re in over our heads,” Dean suggested glumly. “The amount of deaths must’ve dropped the place’s value by now - they’d be stupid to try and sell it now.”
“Dean!” Sam said sternly. “Those people - they had families, they deserve some kind of justice. Besides, someone might try to buy it in the fu-”
“Families…” you murmured, and Sam and Dean both glanced at you quizzically. You ignored them, brow creased and fingers hovering over your keyboard before you started typing frantically. Article after article arose, and you skimmed them quickly before searching past records. Slowly, the puzzle pieces fell into place. Sam and Dean’s trained their perplexed stares on you, but you hardly noticed - finally, it made sense!
“I’ve got it!” you declared. “Ross O’Connor - no record of him predates 1993. So, I did some digging… turns out, his name’s really Ross Miller. When he was nineteen he had a big blow up with his parents, moved out, even changed his name,” you informed them. Dean’s brow creased.
“So? What’s that have to do with the case?”
“I’m getting to that! So, I looked back at all the past owners of the house, and saw that the last owner before Ross was a woman named Carol Miller - must be his mother. House had been in her family since the fifties.”
Sam’s eyes lit up, and you kept talking. “Get this - Carol died of a heart attack, and six months later, her disowned son comes back into town and declares ownership of the house.”
“Okay… so, what, she left it to him in her will?”
You shook your head. “Nope - apparently, she left him out of her will entirely. He claimed he was forgotten, found himself a good lawyer, and must’ve had enough of a case to snag the old family home. I was right about what I said last night, about Ross being the kind of guy who’d want to make money out of the place. Looks like he was staying there while he helped sort out the finer details of a sales contract - he was the one who set up the plans to gentrify the area. But before it could go through…”
“He turns up dead under suspicious circumstances!” Sam finished, and you beamed, nodding.
“Yep! And wanna know the cherry on the cake? In an interview back in ‘08, Ross was asked about his family and said he and his parents had some disagreements over some property developments he’d proposed - I’m willing to bet that, as an aspiring young businessman, he saw the house might be of value and tried to get his mother to sell it-”
“Hence the blowout,” Sam murmured, and you nodded.
“So, what? His mum’s the spirit we’re looking for?” Dean demanded, and you nodded again.
“Yeah, I think so!”
“Great! Well, let’s just get to the cemetery and-”
“Yeah, that’s the thing - she was cremated too,” you said, eyes scanning your screen as you read the information to the boys. Dean groaned.
“Great. Perfect. So we’re in exactly the same place as before-”
“Not quite,” Sam objected. “Obviously the house was important to her - I wouldn’t be surprised if she was attached to it,” he remarked, and you nodded quickly.
“Exactly! So… what, we salt and burn the whole house?” you asked. Dean’s whole face brightened, and he closed his eyes, quietly pumping his fists in the air.
“Yes!” he hissed. “Flamethrower, here I come!”
---
“I can’t believe we’re actually committing arson,” you whispered, adrenaline levels high as the three of you snuck under the police tape and headed to the house, concealed beneath the cloak of night. It was almost two am, your only company the scattering of stars and the chirping of the crickets. Sam chuckled.
“Y/N, we’ve literally dug up graves and burned the bodies,” he reminded you.
“I know, I know, but this just feels different! Like, we’re literally burning down a house!” you exclaimed, and Sam chuckled again, the sound interrupting the sloshing in the gasoline can that was tight in his grip.
“I still can’t believe we’re not using the flamethrower,” Dean muttered, and Sam rolled his eyes as he picked the lock to the back door, ignoring his brother’s grumbling.
“Okay, she’s not going to go easy - everyone have iron bullets?” Sam checked as the door swung open. You nodded, hand finding the gun at your waist as you spread your fingers over the cold metal.
“Alright, let’s go,” Dean confirmed. “Y/N, you go to the attic, Sam, second floor, I’ll cover ground,” he said, reiterating the plan the three of you had established in the warm safety of the motel. The words sounded different now as the night’s chill bit at your skin and whipped at your face, stealing the whispers from your lips and swallowing them into the shadows.
The three of you slunk into the house - Dean began to scatter salt and gasoline as you and Sam headed upstairs. You finished the attic quickly, heading down to help Sam finish off the second floor. Once the house was saturated, you held the box of matches.
“Okay. You get out, I’ll light up the house as I go down,” you told him. Sam frowned.
“I’ll stay with you - just to be safe.”
You paused, but nodded. Couldn’t hurt. You lit the first match, and that was when the ghost appeared.
She charged towards you, screaming in anger and managing to throw you into the staircase. You cried out, losing your hold on the match as Sam shot her with an iron bullet. She disappeared, but you knew it wouldn’t be for long.
“Let’s go!” Sam yelled, helping you quickly to your feet as you lit a match and tossed it to the attic. It caught quickly, and you were halfway down the stairs when you tossed another lit match on the second floor. It, too, caught quickly. You were readying your third match when you got to the bottom of the stairs, only to find a wall of flames licking up the hardwood floors and heading rapidly towards you.
Shit - the match you dropped earlier. This was bad.
You saw Sam’s jaw tense and his body stiffen as he scanned the situation, calmly planning your escape. His hand found yours, and you let yourself breathe - mistake. Smoke choked your lungs and you coughed, lifting your shirt to hold against your nose. Sam was quick to copy you, dropping your hand as he did so.
“This way!” he said, shouting over the flames now - the floor above you was starting to collapse, smoke obscuring your surroundings as the flames crackled and ate at the walls, the roof, the floor, chewing through the furniture and quickly heading towards the exits. You nodded, following him as he weaved through the flames, eyes focused solely on the front door - the only exit left.
The windows to your left blew out, raining shards of boiling glass over the two of you. Some found your skin, and you swore as you shook it off, struggling to breathe even through the cloth of your shirt. Your hair was plastered to your scalp as sweat seemed to gush from your pores, and your eyes stung from sweat and smoke as you tried to keep up with Sam. But your boyfriend had long legs and a clear eye on the exit, while the smoke billowed over your head and blocked out most of your vision. You could feel yourself getting lightheaded, and when the edge of your jacket caught aflame, the few seconds it took for you to stamp it out were enough for you to lose sight of the youngest Winchester amongst the chaos.
“Sam!” you cried, choking on the smoke that snaked into your lungs. You coughed hard enough that you fell to your knees and retched, blindly screaming for his help, for Dean’s, for anyone.
That was when the ghost appeared - she was burning up, but while the house still stood, so did she. Though her power was fading, her anger made up for it ten times over, and suddenly a beam from the roof was crashing to the ground - right on top of your leg.
You screamed as your calf snapped beneath you, collapsing to the ground as searing pain raged past your knee and up your thigh. The flames greedily licked up your surroundings as the smoke continued to clog your lungs. You couldn’t breathe - you were choking and retching and your throat and nose burned with the acidity of vomit, and you were trapped.
You felt a rush of cool air, and you looked up - there was a gaping hole in the flaming roof, and amidst the blaze, you caught sight of the night sky, a glimpse of navy amongst the orange inferno. The flames leapt into the blackness, and you half expected them to burn it away, to watch the sky fold in and crumple like a burning piece of paper. But it stood steady, and as your vision began to fade and your lungs relinquish their fight, you couldn’t help but think how beautiful the stars were tonight.
-----
Sam was already outside when he realised he was alone.
He collapsed onto the grass, pressing his hot, sweaty face against the cool as he panted, gulping lungfuls of fresh air.
“We made it!” he cried. “Y/N, we-”
He paused, forcing himself to turn around. “Y/N?”
His stomach dropped as he saw the empty space behind him, and watched the building go up in flames.
“Sammy!” Dean’s voice rang through the air, and he appeared from the other side of the building, coughing and covered in ash. “Are you hurt? Where’s Y/N?”
“They-they were right behind me!” Sam stammered, and before Dean could stop him, he was back on his feet and sprinting into the burning building, Dean’s shouts echoing behind him. The smoke was worse up high now, but he still managed to pick his way through the burning debris, heart pounding against his ribcage as he held his shirt - drenched with sweat - over his face.
“Y/N!” he screamed, his heart almost giving out as he caught sight of you, unconscious and trapped under a fallen beam, leg splayed awkwardly beneath it. “Y/N!”
---
The stars were beautiful tonight. Beautiful, glimmering, free. You danced among them, enveloped in their warm glow as they swam playfully around you. They chased you, gleaming and laughing, and the more you ran, the warmer you became. You fell - you could feel yourself sweating, and suddenly you were gasping for air.
And then the stars were falling. You could feel them landing on your skin, like cool, tiny droplets that warmed too quickly in the thick air. Their laughter turned to screams and you felt them smother your face with something hot and damp. Your leg seared with pain, and as the stars fell away, your eyes fluttered open.
“Y/N!” Sam was screaming, voice rapidly coming into focus, and suddenly your whimsical imaginings were just that. The stars falling on your skin were none other than Sam’s tears, or sweat, or a combination of the two. You coughed, realising that Sam had ripped your sooty, sweaty shirt and was holding it over your mouth as he held up his own shirt with his free hand. “Y/N, thank god!” he yelled. “Come on, let’s get you out!”
You could see his muscles strain as he struggled to lift the heavy beam that had trapped you beneath its weight, but he could barely lift it a centimetre off the ground. Your head swam and your chest was tight, but it was a little easier to breathe lying down, close to the floor - probably the only reason you weren’t dead quite yet.
“Sam, it’s no use!” you managed to choke. “Get out of here!”
“No, nonono!” Sam yelled, grunting as he used all his weight to try and shove the beam away from you. It began to give, and you screamed as it’s movement tugged on your broken leg.
“Sammy, you have to go!” you cried, but your words were drowned out by his angry shouts and the roaring of the flames. The beam moved again, and suddenly Sam’s arms were looping around you and lifting you up against his chest. Your leg screamed in protest, and your eyes rolled back into your skull.
---
“They’ll be alright,” a gravelly voice murmured. “I’ve healed the worst of their wounds - but they must rest.”
“Thank you, Cas.” You recognised Sam’s voice, laced with stress and gratitude as it mellowed into a sigh. You felt a hand on your forehead, fingers brushing the hair from your face, and slowly, you blinked.
“Y/N!” Sam exclaimed, voice heavy with relief. “How do you feel? Are you okay?”
You swallowed tentatively. Your throat was raw, and you weren’t sure your nose would ever be free of the stench of smoke, but you found yourself nodding.
“You-you idiot,” you managed to cough, forcing yourself into a sitting position despite Sam’s frantic protests. “You should’ve left me! You could’ve died!”
Sam chuckled dryly. “I’d never leave you - not to that,” he told you, his thumb running gently over your cheek. You leaned into his touch, closing your eyes and holding his hand to your face.
“Yeah, well, you’re still an idiot,” you grumbled, and he laughed, genuinely this time, as he kissed your forehead.
“That’s fine by me,” he managed, and you found yourself smiling despite yourself. You pulled away and saw that your hands and clothes were covered in soot and ash, and still sticky with sweat. The motel bed beneath you creaked when you moved, and the blankets were hot over your legs. You kicked them off, marvelling as you realised your leg was healed. You knew of Castiel’s abilities, but when he used them to heal you, it was always disconcerting - injured one minute, completely fine the next.
“You shouldn’t have gone back,” you murmured again, wincing as you saw the traces of a burn peeking out beneath Sam’s sleeve. It was baby pink with tender new skin, still soft and delicate. Cas’s mojo wasn’t what it used to be - but even so, it had saved your life. And probably Sam’s, as well, if he’d inhaled half as much smoke as you had.
“Of course I went back,” Sam whispered, leaning his forehead against yours. You saw his Adam’s apple bob as he swallowed, licking his dry, cracking lips still covered in ash as he hesitated, his next words catching in his throat. “When I was in the cage… one of Lucifer’s favourite torture devices was fire. It was the worst- worst pain I’ve ever felt. I could never let that happen to you,” he said thickly. You managed a sympathetic half smile - even after all these years, Sam’s time in the cage still haunted him. He didn’t like to talk about it, so the fact that he did now was enough for you to drop your guard.
Your hand found his, and you squeezed it lightly.
“Well… you saved me,” you whispered, your lips grazing his cheek. He crawled in the bed next to you, his arms circling your waist and holding you close to his body. You nuzzled into his chest as he squeezed you almost uncomfortably close, but you didn’t dream of complaining.
When you finally pulled away, you found yourself distracted once more by the stars. Not the ones behind your closed eyes, nor the ones set into the night sky, still visible through the tiny window. No, not those, not this time.
Sam smiled, a breathless smile so full of relief and of love, and as your gaze met his…
You found the stars in his eyes.

[ RYLAND HOLBROOK. 24. CISMALE. HE/HIM ] is here! They’ve lived in Silver Lake for [ 4 YEARS ] and are originally from [ NEWPORT, OR ]. They are a [ PHOTOGRAPHER ] and in their downtime love [ CAPTURING CREEPY AESTHETIC IMAGES ] and [ ABUSING PRESCRIPTION PILLS ]. They look a lot like [ THOMAS DOHERTY ] and live [ ON SILVERWOOD TERRACE ].
full name: ryland joshua holbrook nickname: ry, but only by his CLOSEST pals .... otherwise fuck u birthday: august 29, 1995 zodiac: leo-virgo cusp hometown: newport, oregon sexuality: heterosexual height: 5′11 career: photographer ( rising artist thanks to his family’s $$$ )
yooooo what’s good hunnies, my name’s maia and i’m gonna be your tour guide to this wild fuckery named ryland holbrook. i’m also gonna call myself out straight from the get go and let y’all know that he is ...... heavily inspired by / based on / basically nathan prescott from lis, with a few tweaks, if you’ve ever heard of that wild ride of a game. if not??? you’re in for an absolute treat lmao
background:
actually born in florida, he only lived there a few short years before his family moved to newport in oregon, where ryland was raised. a powerful businessman, ryland’s father didn’t hesitate in making several investments in newport which quickly developed into an empire for the holbrook family and built a reputation for the holbrooks being the most influential family in newport. so, of course, little ryland grew up in privileged setting, under the impression that nobody was able to touch him, no matter what he did, because of the paramount rep attached to his family name.
his mother was hardly ever around, a true socialite living it up everywhere but their home, his older sister was always away on exotic trips to help those in need in far away places, and his father was an overbearing monster, constantly berating ryland and flat out calling him a disgrace to the holbrook name anytime the boy slipped up. senior holbrook wanted his son to take over the family business eventually but ryland had other plans. he hated business, politics, and all that bullshit ( except when it worked out in his favor ) and he had a lot of pent up anger from his home life. it was during a therapy session that the idea of an artistic outlet was introduced to him, and after purchasing nothing but the absolute best equipment, ryland found his true calling - photography.
he was so invested that his parents bought him into the most pristine arts school newport had to offer, particularly his father making enough generous donations to eventually become the co-owner of the school. it was there that ryland flourished in his artistic ability, exposing his questionable eye for the darker theme surrounding all his captured images. but it was also where he met his ultimate downfall. the rise and fall of ryland holbrook all wrapped up in a messy lustrum.
long story short, ryland was the king of the castle. he had various connections through different organizations, though one of his most frequent was a drug dealer who he scored just about everything from at a cut price so ryland could then sell to all his peers at school. then he met katherine liddell, a deeply troubled girl who he believed brought out the best in him, when she actually brought out the absolute worst. they fully embodied the very definition of a toxic relationship, and then some. fighting constantly, enraged with jealousy, egging each other on for their own sick enjoyment - it was a hot mess. everyone suspected the two would be the death of each other, but they also couldn’t envision the two apart. until ryland’s father had enough of his son’s antics and sent him away to a facility for the troubled youth in an attempt to get him some help. if anything, it made things worse, and when he returned a year later, he dived right back into the poisonous embrace of his long time girlfriend.
he went off his meds, cold turkey, and shit went south pretty fast after finding out katherine been sleeping around behind his back. the first was his drug dealer, and out of a fit of rage, ryland sped off to the guy’s trailer in the middle of a stormy night and beat the shit out of him with a pistol. he would have killed him that night, had katherine not shown up and intervened. a week later, however, and this trailer trash drug dealer was found dead. with the reputation he had, everyone immediately linked it to gang activity and wrote it off as such ( with a supple payment made by daddy holbrook to the police department ) and that was that.
then the second was one of ryland and katherine’s classmates, logan. he was an idiot jockstrap, someone ryland furiously detested to begin with, who wouldn’t stop spreading rumours around school of how he had his way with katherine while ryland was away. of course, this didn’t settle well with junior holbrook and, after a few threatening conversations and a fist fight on school property, logan went missing. posters were put up all around newport, pleading for any wiff of information on the boy’s whereabouts, but nothing would ever come up and it seemed he was gone without a trace.
residents were growing nervous, tensions were rising at an all time high between ryland and katherine and, eventually, heated arguments were overheard which released suspicious information to prying ears. once his father caught wind of it all, he basically shipped ryland off to los angeles while he did major damage control and cleaned up the mess his son had created. so ryland’s been living here for a little over four years now, building his own legacy through photography by setting up his own gallery. living his best life currently away from the dramatic clusterfuck he caused back home, but he’s still an angry entitled piece of shit so lsdahfusdikjsdfn enJOY
desired:
ok well somebody from his past would be pretty fucking w i l d like maybe his older sister?? someone who went to his school? his ex girlfriend perhaps lmAO
someone he has........an indifference with?? like they sure as hell ain’t pals but they also don’t hate each other they just kinda... tolerate each other for whatever reason
maybe a journalist/investigator bud who covers INSANE stories that ryland would love to take photos for in the paper or online or something dsfhuikjfdg give me a crazy ass dynamic of psychos doing something good for the community
literally anything y’all show this guy some love / hate / anything in between

A SOUTHERNER CANNOT BE MY NEIGHBOR!
A Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Babazango (see photo), has allegedly threatened violent attacks against one Vincent Umeh for buying property near his house in Adamawa State.
SaharaReporters learnt that the Police boss, who hails from Adamawa State, claimed he did not want a Southerner as his next-door neighbour.
Babazango, who is currently attached to the Lagos State Police Command, was reportedly infuriated to learn that a Southeasterner was his new neighbour.
SaharaReporters learnt that the property is located at 33, Mohammed Mustapha Way, Opposite Ford Oil, Yola, in Adamawa State.
In a viral audio, Babazango was heard warning Umeh to reverse the purchase deal or face bitter consequences, including no guarantee of his personal safety.
"We're a homogeneous community, I don't want you; you can't be my next door neighbour, I swear. What sort of insult is this? Can any Northerner move now to the South-East, say Onitsha and just bump into any neighborhood to buy a property; just like that?” the DCP queried.
Narrating his ordeal, Umeh said, "I acquired the property late last year from one Ismail Mamman; the transaction was perfected and a title deed was issued to me.
"I was surprised to receive a call from a man who introduced himself as DCP Ibrahim Babazango, a neighbour of Ismail Mamman who sold the property to me. He threatened that I should abandon the property because he could not guarantee my safety as his neighbour.
"I pleaded with him to no avail. I asked him what I did wrong by purchasing the property, at least within the context of the law. He kept yelling that I was not welcome in the neighbourhood and I am a stranger in the community.
"Given his threat, I reported the matter to the police and Department of State Services.”
As it was further gathered, Babazango claimed that his former neighbour sold the property to Umeh without offering him (Babazango) a neighbour, the first right to buy.
When contacted by SaharaReporters, Babazango stood his ground on the threats.
He said, “My neighbour sold the house to a businessman without waiting for me, after I had indicated interest to buy the property. Believe me, I cannot guarantee his safety if he insists on owning the property because as it is; we live like brothers in this area; so for an outsider who is not from this part of the country to buy a property in this area, is unacceptable.
"I have reported the matter to the District Head of Jemita and I will also take him to court if need be.”
On his part, the vendor, Ismail Mamman said, “The property is mine and I sold it to Mr. Vincent Umeh; all the documents were duly signed by me and my brother as witness between us, in the presence of a lawyer after we agreed on a price.
"I had approached him, my former neighbour, DCP Ibrahim Babazango that I wanted to sell my property, he said he would contact his brother but I didn't get his feedback; so I sold it to a ready buyer. I have no problems with the buyer at all.”

This site offers luxurious living at affordable prices and flexible payment options. We will be revealing the 9 Reasons to Invest In Lahore Smart City.

Locale:
The most highly rated property in a housing society is its location. This determines how investors rate it and whether or not it increase or decrease its value. It is the major factor in the popularity and appeal of a property.
Investment returns also depend on the location of a community, which can act as a selling point for investors and provide investment returns.
The planners chose a central Lahore location that is easily accessible from all major roads and locations in Lahore. It is conveniently located near the Kala Shah Kaku railway station, N-5 National Highway, and Lahore Bypass. You will also find UET Kala Shah Kaku, National Highway, and Motorway Police Station.

Low-Cost Housing
Society is in the development phase. Every step of the development stage is characterized by quality and low costs. The best time to invest is now, as society is at its initial construction level.
As the development progresses, prices will go up and you could lose the window of opportunity. The timing of a property is important to wise investors. Therefore, we recommend that you be a smart investor and not delay in booking a plot at LSC.
LSC is a high-quality, low-cost housing program that provides all the amenities and modern facilities. It will meet your requirements for high-end, affordable accommodation in the heartland of Punjab, Lahore smart city location.

LSC offers easy and attractive payment options that are quick, easy, as well as affordable. Because of the success of the society's prelaunch, the management revised the installment plans so that the price is now more affordable.
Prices are also low since society has not yet been officially launched. This means that the payment plans offer even better prices for plots. Or you might regret missing this golden opportunity.
LSC plot prices start at 21 lacs for 5 Marla plots, in an era of high era inflation within the real estate sector. This is what LSC plot prices look like, despite the fact that these are insanely high prices.
Management is offering these amazing plot payment plans with only a 10% down payment. After 2 months of booking, 10% confirmation charges will also be applicable. The entire payment can be made in 14 quarterly installments. This is one of the easiest real estate markets. These installments could be paid in under three years, with no difficulty.

All documentation required for the application must be included with the form.
Complete the application form and attach all required documents.
Lahore Smart City Approval & Non-Objection Certificate (NOC).
This is the most important reason an investor should decide whether or not to invest. This is the amazing news: the developers have submitted an approval request with Lahore Development Authority, (LDA), for the necessary approval. It will soon receive the NOC notice.
Within the next few months, approval of the NOC is anticipated. This is due to the fact that the developers follow every set standard by the relevant authorities. There will not be any hurdles in the approval process.
Another reason could be the name of the developers and owners, who are well-known for their high-quality real estate projects in Pakistan, such as Bahria Town. HRL & FDH might face an issue during the approval process. LSC has applied to approve 20, 000 Kanal of prime location land in Lahore, for the development of an internationally recognized housing society.
Facilities & Amenities in Lahore Smart City
LSC intends to provide all modern amenities and housing facilities of international standard. This society will have unprecedented levels of automation and efficient mechanisms. This privilege is not available in any other society.
LSC has incorporated the internationally recognized concept of housing concepts, which is unmatched in Pakistan and very rare even in Asia. The FDH&HRL proudly presents these exclusive amenities, which will be only available in Pakistan.
Here are some of the most important amenities and facilities.
Jamia Mosque:
Jamia mosque, the most important facility in society, will be a link between God and His supreme creation, his people. It will also serve as the main point of contact for all people who wish to interact positively.
State-of-the-art Road Infrastructure
LSC stresses the importance of road infrastructure. Design and development use high-tech, efficient equipment. The operational and development phases will be able to use the same level of automation as anywhere else in Pakistan.
Recreational & Fun Centers:
Relaxing areas can be a great escape from the bustling city life. Developers are creating beautiful, refreshing green parks and community centers to encourage people to develop a close relationship with nature and live a healthy and happy life.
Top Educational Institutions
LSC has developed state-of-the-art educational institutions. This is a vital part of any society's backbone. To ensure that students are productive, they will have access to the best teachers and other professionals.
It is expected that society will offer educational institutions.
Universities
Colleges
School
Facilities for Health:
LSC will offer international-standard medical centers and other health facilities in order to complete the concept for a smart and modern housing society that caters to all residents' needs.
Not only will the doctors and paramedics be qualified in Lahore, but also in Pakistan. The residents will be able to pay for their health care. Any kind of medical emergency will be treated by staff members available 24 hours a day.
These hospitals, labs, and clinics will be equipped to handle many patients at once and with the assistance of highly trained staff and equipment.
Lahore Smart City - A Safe and Secure Gated Community

For added security, the community will be enclosed by a wall as well as anti-personnel fencing. The security staff will guard the entrance and exit points 24 hours a day.
Unique Features:
Each housing society has its own unique features. These features are offered to investors to make them attractive to potential buyers. Here are the exclusive features you will find only here:

Alongside with his rhetorical flair and newsman's instincts, his PR stunts were quickly making headlines.
To toughen a referendum on limiting MPs' immunity he intentionally parked his car on a pedestrian crossing within the midst of Bratislava; the cameras filmed him showing his parliamentary pass to the police who were called to tow it.
As an MP, he could perchance well no longer be prosecuted.

Image caption Mr Matovic produced a cardboard slice-out of Prime Minister Robert Fico in parliament in 2013 which resulted in a brawl
In the 2012 elections, now standing on his grasp as the head of OLaNO, he took a lie-detector take a look at to illustrate he had no longer permitted bribes, and demanded his fellow candidates attach the identical.
Several refused, asserting it became insulting. He passed, and the birthday celebration received 16 MPs.
But he reserved most of his creative ire for dilapidated Prime Minister Fico and SMER, the birthday celebration which had dominated Slovak politics since 2006 and one he noticed as the head of a hydra of corruption that became slowly choking Slovakia.
Stunts included:
placing a life-sized cardboard slice-out of Mr Fico, maintaining a tag asserting "Donated Slovakia to the Effectively off", on the floor of parliament

One doable partner, Boris Kollar, leads a celebration called We Are Family - a claim that can strike some voters as actually exact, seeing that he has up to now fathered an entire of 10 younger other folks with eight numerous women.
We Are Family belongs to the Identity and Democracy neighborhood, the alliance of nationalist, factual-soar and Eurosceptic events within the European Parliament.

The liberal Revolutionary Slovakia birthday celebration she once helped to steer narrowly didn't enter parliament, and Mr Matovic's coalition is probably going to be extra conservative this means that.
Surely there will be questions over the route by which he'll retract Slovakia. The nation's partners - each and every the EU and its once in some time truculent neighbours within the so-called Visegrad neighborhood - are certainly weird.
"Because he could perchance well be the leader of a largely conservative ruling coalition, Budapest and presumably Warsaw will welcome him as a representative of identical trends," Grigorij Meseznikov, one of Slovakia's leading political analysts, told the BBC.
