Clearly we need to ban people with small dicks from pole vaulting, they have a biological advantage

To say that I've seen mixed reviews about our decision to share the win would be an understatement. While part of me doesn't want to entertain the negative comments, I would like to help enlighten those that are calling us "cowards", "shameful", "pathetic" etc. I know you can't make everyone happy in this world, but in an effort to help people understand the sport that I love so much, I would like to explain my mentality in that moment. The pole vault is not an endurance event. We have a short window of jumps. Once the fatigue sets in, it not only becomes more difficult, but dangerous. The sport has seen everything from athletes just landing funny with minor tweaks, to horrific accidents. We had jumped an entire competition, vaulting for almost 4 hours in 85 degree heat. The competition ended, and we were exhausted. A World Championship is incredibly emotionally draining-even more so than a regular competition. My step (the point where I jump off the ground into the takeoff) to vault safely has to be in almost the exact same spot every time, give or take a few inches. My last few jumps, that takeoff step was moving further and further out, giving us real data showing my fatigue even with adrenaline.
To walk away healthy and with a gold medal, while celebrating with my friend that had jumped just as well, was a no-brainer. Part of the reason we've reached the highest level is by listening to our bodies, and knowing our limitations. We decided that in this particular moment, sharing glory was just as good as earning it outright. I understand that people want to see a clear winner. It is the exciting part of sport. But in this instance, it was without a doubt the right decision, and one that I will never regret.
Contrary to popular belief, you do not need a "win at all cost" mindset to have a champion's mentality.

Title: Speed
Rating: R for sexual content
Prompt: Faster from @wolfstarmicrofic
Word count: 275
Summary: Sirius and Remus spend some quality time together in the Olympic Village.
I am writing a fic for each of the prompts this month. You can read all of them here.
This is explicit, so heed that warning and click on the cut to read this.

Yes, this was inspired by that pole-vaulting video. And, yes, this is what the athletes get up to in the Olympic Village.

“Mmm, fuck, I... oh...” gasped Sirius as the tall pole vaulter he had been making eyes at over dinner the night before grabbed Sirius’s hair in one hand and pulled it slightly backwards.
Completely surrendering to the pleasure of the new angle, Sirius cried out again. “Rem... oh, faster, fast...” His eyes rolled back and he shuddered as he felt every inch of Remus’s long, thick cock, thrusting torturously slowly into him.
Remus leaned forwards, panting in time to his thrusts. “Beg me,” said Remus, his voice husky.
“Please, I...” moaned Sirius, closing his eyes as Remus finally picked up his speed and wrapped a hand around Sirius’s weeping cock. A coil in his stomach soon burst, and his body shattered, convulsing around Remus’s impossibility hard length. Remus let out a sharp moan of his own before falling forward, releasing deep into Sirius.
Boneless, Sirius collapsed onto the bed and caught his breath as Remus dropped himself beside Sirius.
Still panting slightly, Sirius spoke. “Well, that’s one way to wake me up,” he said, laughing.
Hand over his eyes, Remus hummed slightly, his chest still heaving. Propping himself up on an elbow, Sirius stroked Remus’s chest and Remus drew a hand up to catch Sirius’s. “Again?” murmured Remus. “Give me at least fifteen, love,” he said, yawning.
“No,” said Sirius, chuckling. “No, I just think you should leave before my roommate…”
Both Sirius and Remus jumped at a loud bang as the small room’s door flung open.
“Pads! You’ll never guess who I…”
Sirius looked up into the shocked face of his roommate, fellow Olympian and best friend, James Potter.
“…comes back,” Sirius finished, lamely.
