easy peasy!! my favorite gen 9 character aside from the main character group would be Ms. Raifort. First class character design and delightfully suspicious personality to boot!

I really want to talk with your Volo. Being cursed with immortality is not a fun thing if you don't want it.
Maybe I could even help remove it.
- @skyfire-the-pokemon-biologist
eeeeeehhhh I'll have to find him if you really want to talk to him. He might not believe you though. It shouldn't take me long he's probably at the Acadamy asking Ms. Raifort more questions.

OFF SCREEN POST: 毁
No content warnings apply. The last in this little mini-series!
——————————————————————————-
“...I see. That is quite the tale.”
“It’s true, Director Clavell!” Nemona exclaimed, huddled in the man’s office alongside Lochland. “There’s some sort of monster in the cavern! It attacked Lochland and his Pokémon!”
“Bzzt! It erased our memories of the incident! It’ll go after more people if something isn’t done.” Roto added pictures of whatever it could find on the phone’s screen.
The director sighed, rubbing his neck. “I’m afraid I don’t know much about this subject, children…A Pokemon that attacks with illusions of ice brings to mind the idea of a Froslass…” Clavell hums in contemplation. “If that’s the case, we’ll simply send two of our most powerful Gym Leaders out for an inspection.”
Nemona bit her lip. That was somehow both reassuring and a little underwhelming. The entire experience seemed like something a couple of Gym Leaders could handle, if she struggled at a Champion Ranked Trainer. But it’s not like she brought her all-rounder team from that time. And she somehow doubted Kilowattrel or Dundunsparce could handle that..thing.
“...Thank you, Director.” Lochland’s voice rattled them, quiet and soft-spoken, unlike the usual extreme pitch it could reach. He rose silently and slowly from his seat in the man's office and turned to exit.
‘Wha- Lochland!” Nemona called out, only for the door to slam shut behind him. She groaned, fighting the curses she wanted to below more than anything. Lochland seemed to just be trying to avoid the topic all together, despite that no longer being an option for several reasons. In Cascarrafa, on the Flying Taxi home- even on his blog. He seemed like he was trying to sweep the whole damned thing under the bridge. It was infuriating.
“I…presume he’s been like this the whole time.”
Nemona nodded.
“I see. You may need to give him a moment, Miss Nemona. This seems like a lot for him to process.”
“I get that! Believe me- I do! But if that thing goes after anymore Trainers or Pokémon-”
“I understand.” Clavell spoke softly. “Regardless, it will do us no good to intrude. You may want to rest yourself.”
“...Right. Thank you, Director.” She sighed, getting up from her own chair and heading to the exit. A solemn Roto joins her, both of them entering the academy hall.
“I’m-”
“Don’t apologize.” She states, a sad smile on her face that doesn’t even mean meet the eyes. “I’m not upset at you, and you cannot keep apologizing for him.” She heads down the hall, walking down the stairs. “Do you want me to head to your dorm?”
“Nonsense. I should walk you to yours, bzzt. I can more than take care of myself against the Pokemon of the academy.”
“Yeah but-”
“Nemona!”
The girl blinked, turning to her left. She smiled, arms open wide as her rival slammed into them. Suddenly, life felt so much easier.
“I’m so glad you’re okay.”
“You’ve said so.” She responds, looking at the shorter girl. “I’m so sorry for scaring you.”
Emmy’s eyes darted for a bit, but went back to the same bashful look as before. “It’s okay.”
Roto silently hovered around them, looking around. “Uh, Miss Emmy. I hate to intrude, but, uhm. Have you seen my trainer? I know you don’t want to talk to him right now, zzt, but-”
“I saw him a bit ago.” Her voice was more monotone than usual, obviously still pissed at him. Nemona found herself unable to blame her, quite exhausted herself. “Lochland got dragged off by Ms. Raifort a bit ago. Something about trying to pick his brain from what happened while you guys were…”
Nemona hummed, deep in contemplation. Ms. Raifort? That was an odd pick, especially considering Lochland didn’t even like her- despite his intense love for history. Did she…know something?
“...Hey. Do you mind if we go visit Ms. Raifort? She..probably knows about what happened more than we ever will.” Nemona asked, tentatively. Already, she could see the discomfort on Emmy’s face at the idea of getting involved in the whole mess. Despite it, she held firm, nodding at the idea.
“I-I’ll come with. Honest.”
Nemona’s heart swelled. She really could rely on Emmy.
The walk was short, as the duo (and Roto) heard whispers from the Staff Room getting increasingly loud, Lochland’s anger becoming more prominent throughout the walls. Nemona carefully rapped on the door. It fell silent for a moment, before Raifort opened the door, grinning at their appearance.
“I’ve been expecting you…three?” She peered at Emmy.
“She..she’s with me.” Nemona answered.
“...I see. Well then- come in, Miss Emmy.”
The three stepped into the staff room, a little eerie with it being so late after hours. Lochland stood in the corner, looking disgruntled and tired. Clearly, he didn’t want to be remotely involved in this conversation. The minute she spotted Emmy, his eyes shrunk in shock, turning to Nemona like had sprung two heads like a Doduo.
Raifort locked the Staff door behind her, pulling up a chair. She sat, grabbing a satchel off the table and pulling out a large, ancient looking book. Brown once shone prominently on it, only for time to wear and age it, like wet mud transformed into firm dirt. Raifort opened it, flipping through with a veteran’s ease until she reached somewhere in the middle.
“Children. May you please tell me what you saw?”
Lochland opened his mouth, seemingly to protest.
Nemona beat him to the punch. “Lochland went missing, under the guise of looking for Dunsparce. When I went to check on him, I found a cave. But it was…different. It was completely dark inside, to the point where not even a Fire-type move could light it up. And soon, ice started to emerge from outside.”
“Nemona!”
“¡This could help Lochland, basta!” She cleared her throat. “Upon exploring further, I found this weird staff. Roto got a picture of it somehow, before they went back?”
“Bzzt! I believe whatever we saw erased our memories of touching it the first time, but upon Nemona’s recuse, erased them completely of us even nearing the place.” Roto’s screen showed a yellow, glowing, stake. Looped around the top was a yellow ball of sorts, an ancient intricate pattern merged into it. Raifort gasped, taking a closer look as she adjusted her glasses.
“I don’t believe my eyes…”
“When I got close, I heard Lochland’s voice. The more I stuck around, I felt more..”
“Angry? A deep sense of hatred filling your cores?” Raifort asked, cutting the girl off. Nemona sputtered for a bit, before nodding. The teacher closed her eyes.
“...Ice and hatred…yes, I know exactly what you encountered.”
This caught all of them off guard, children and Pokémon paying attention. Raifort twisted her book around to show them. It was drawing, the type made by experienced artists and painters of a time long forgotten. A white long beast, icicles engraved into its sides and tail- even being used as its whiskers. Black swords that jutted out of the top of its maw, tips covered in ice. Cold eyes leered at them, and Nemona could feel the chill in her veins, even if just a drawing.
“T-That’s it.’ She mumbled. “That’s what attacked us.”
“Then you, my children, have encountered one of the Treasures of Ruin.”
Silence.
“Wh…what is-?” Lochland spoke, cautiously, almost as if he was afraid to ask.
“They’re old Paldean legends.” Emmy spoke for the first time since entering. “A king had four treasures; a vessel, a sword, tablets and beads. They were infused with some of humanity’s worst traits- something like that.”
“Very good, Ms. Emmy!” Raifort’s eyes lit up, a telltale sign of her hunger for knowledge. “Once invigorated with those traits, they became Pokémon- destroying ancient Paldea in a rampage. In desperation, the king turned to four renown Pokémon battlers, and after a fierce fight, all were sealed away.” Her monologue stunned the room, the kid’s eyes raised in disbelief. “For a long time, they merely existed as only rumors. But two eyewitness testimonies- do you know what this means? They’re real!”
The history teacher laughed. “You’ve both encountered Chien-Pao, Sword of Ruin!”
Nemona couldn’t feel the joy at Ms. Raifort’s glee, only fear sinking into her heart. She looked back, Emmy clearly uncomfortable, Lochland’s expression shifting into something sinister, fist balled. “Uh…hooray?”
“This is incredible! The truth, the truth! Could you imagine if we had the ability to find it again? Capture it? And if we found Chein-Pao, maybe we could find-”
“Shut the fuck up.”
Nemona gasped, not expecting the profanity that Lochland had directed towards a teacher of all things. Raifort looked quite struck as well. “I-Lochland, that type of language-”
“You don’t know a damn thing about what you're talking about. Trying to seek out those bloody things- are you out of your mind?!” Lochland’s anger seemed to grow more prevalent as he spoke. “Those things will kill you without mercy. That thing- it’d rip you to bits and bloody pieces. They’re called the Treasures of Ruin for crying out loud- be sensible!”
“Wh- Lochland-”
“Shut up.” He turned to her and-
Nemona felt her entire body sag, the desire to put up a fight against his behavior disappearing in a flash, the desire to do anything disappearing in a flash as she stared into his bright blue eyes, immobile.
Lochland turned back to Raifort, equally as stunned as Nemona. “I…I…”
“You have no idea what you’re messing with. If you’re any degree as smart as you pretend, you’ll bury this.” Lochland finished, storming out of the staff room without so much of a word. Only when the door shut, did Nemona get her fighting spirit and ability to move back.
“I..I..I’m so, so sorry, Ms. Raifort. Thank you for your advice, I’ll make sure to ask you more, I-I have to go.” She ran to the door, opening it and running out.
“Bzzt! Ms. Nemona!”
“Nemo!”
Both Emmy and Roto chased after her, leaving Raifort alone in the staff room to reflect on what just happened. At the sudden appearance of bright blue eyes on her student’s face, when she knew for fact they were lavender.
“It can’t be…Azelf…?”
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“LOCHLAND!” Nemona shrieked, stomping down the stairs into the main lobby, seeing the man walking through the emptiness. “¡¿CÚAL ES TU PROBLEMA?!”
“What’s my problem?! What the hell is yours!” He turned to face her, marching in her direction to meet her. “Babbling all of that to Ms. Raifort- do you know what kind of danger you could’ve put us in?”
“She’s not dangerous, Lochland, she’s trying to help!”
“They’re always trying to help! People like her are always trying to help, and then they strike you in the back.” He retorted. “Lysandre was nice, til’ he tried to exterminate the entirety of Kalos. Lusamine was nice until she caused the summoning of a million Ultra Beasts. No normal person is obsessed with Legendary Pokémon!”
“Some people are just passionate, Lochland! Just like you and your researchers, or Bidoofs! But you- you caused that big scene, swore at a teacher for Arc’s sake-”
“You had no right to do any of that. It was a terrible idea, Nemona.”
She balked at his audacity. “I-I had no right to-are you forgetting I’m the reason you’re standing here right now, Lochland?!”
“You shouldn’t have come looking for me!” He flung his hands in the air. ‘Do have any idea how dangerous-”
“I fought the thing! Of course I knew how dangerous it was!” She scoffed. “I mean- what did you expect, Lochland? That being chained and trapped and unconscious, you’d be able to come up with some way to escape by yourself with no help?!”
Lochland looked away, face hot as silence reigned over the hall.
Nemona’s eyes widened. “...No se puede ser serio.”
“...You have no idea the mess you’ve dragged yourself into, Nemona. Legendaries are serious business.”
“Oh, and you’re suddenly an expert on Legendary Pokémon!”
“I am, actually!”
“How?” She pressed, jabbing a finger in his chest. “How in the world would you possibly know something like that?”
Lochland sputtered, unable to defend himself. “You…you wouldn’t possibly believe me.”
“You don’t know that though!” She retorted, face strained as she spoke. “You don’t know what I’d believe, or what I wouldn’t because you never tell people anything!”
“Well I'm telling you now- don’t go looking into Chein Pao or whatever. Leave it to me! If you keep dragging people into this, they’re going to get hurt- what the heck are you gonna do if someone like Emmy gets involved next time. And it will happen- because it always happens!”
Something inside Nemona snapped.
“No te atrevas a hablar de ella así. ¿Qué te pasa?” Her voice was a hiss, anger and silent disappointment mixing together.
Lochland said nothing. He sharply turned and started walking away.
“Tell Roto I’m heading up to my dorm room, he knows how to get there on his own.”
Nemona let him walk away, holding onto her shoulders in discomfort.
“...Take my advice, Nemona. Don’t make the same mistakes I did.” And he started to climb up the steps, slowly disappearing from view. Nemona took a sharp breath, running her hands through her hair. She looked up, only to notice Roto and Emmy on the steps. She turned away, unable to meet their gazes.
Emmy carefully walked down, resting a shoulder on her hand, Nemona returning with a squeeze.
“...Wanna have a sleepover at my place? My moms wouldn't mind having you.”
“...Gracias. I’d love that, Em.”
Translations:
¡Basta! = Enough!
No te atrevas a hablar de ella así. = Don’t you dare talk about her like that.
¿Qué te pasa? = What’s wrong with you?

Maybe a drabble or hcs about reader having to avoid Ms. Rainfort like the plague bc if they are around her for too long the ruin pokemon will prob do to her what they did to the king of paldea (If you dont want to write all of them could you pick ting-lu?)
(I have a hc that the ruin pokemon can feel peoples evil intentions and ms Rainfort is very insistent in taking the ruin pokemon and just gives you nasty plot as well so that doesn't help her case at all))
"Nasty Plot? Why are you giving me this TM in particular, Professor?" Staring down at the disc in your hands, you looked at your history professor with a puzzled gaze, wondering why she would have something like this on-hand.
It certainly seemed strange, given the circumstances of your most recently-captured Pokémon...who happened to be one of the harbingers of disaster to the Paldean Kingdom.
"Oh! It can be used to boost Ting-Lu's special attacks. Of course, it can always be stronger...it has been sealed away for many years, after all." Despite Raifort's gentle smile, the glint in her eyes was nothing short of sinister. "But I can understand if you're having difficulties in taming this Ruinous Treasure's might. It's still quite the unpredictable brute, so if at anytime you wish to turn it over to me, I can-"
"Tiiiing..."
Blinking in surprise, you glanced at Ting-Lu, who heavily opposed her proposition as it backed away, sticking close to your side (or at least as much as it could without its bowl hitting you). Its red eyes stared at her with such caution, as though boring into her very soul.
You frowned a bit, resting your hand on its side, before gazing back at Raifort.
Something about this...didn't feel right.
"I think Ting-Lu trusts me more, professor. But thank you for the offer anyways."
"It's not problem." Although her smile didn't waver for a moment, she now seemed quite unnerved at the dark/ground type's reaction. "I hope you don't mind gathering some data on its habits and such...for homework, let's say. I'd like to share the knowledge we've gained on the quartet so far with my future students so I'm not just telling them how these Pokémon are shrouded in total mystery."
"That's fair." You nodded respectfully. "And...I'll work on finding the locations of the others and their shrines."
"Wonderful! Now I'll have to prepare for my next class. See you around, [y/n]!"
"Take care, professor."
As soon as Raifort headed back into the school, Ting-Lu relaxed its haunches, and you found yourself relaxing your own shoulders, too. Somehow you were apparently just as tense as it.
You looked at it with a sympathetic smile, rubbing its snout. "I know she's a history professor, but...this obsession with you guys is strange. Clearly you know something about her that I don't. I'll get to the bottom of it."
"Lu." It nodded in agreement, before you returned it to its pokeball as to not attract unwanted attention from any nearby students. You decided to head back to the dorms.
Though not without checking out a few books first..
.........
It was no surprise that you didn't find a lot of recorded information on the Legendary Quartet.
The most you could find were old tales and scriptures of their associated items....as well as the effects they had on humans who used them or sought them out. Obviously they left the greatest impact on the Paldean Kingdom beyond causing it to collapse practically overnight.
However, there was one story in particular which stood out to you.....and you realized that this fictious tale may be true after all, especially given Ting-Lu's wariness around Raifort.
The passage claimed that having just one of the items within the vicinity of an authority figure would drive them to obsession with it, willing to do just about anything to have it for themselves.
They'd barter, beg, bribe, steal...or even kill for it.
And this would only grow further if another item was present as well, and it would continue with the third and the fourth..
Eventually this accumulates into this person having unfathomable greed and hoarding all of their powers for themselves, refusing to share them with anyone else.
That's exactly what the king had done, and in his greed he destroyed lives and inevitably caused the items to become Pokémon themselves--living sentient beings fueled by the rage of dozens of souls.
Because they were able to sense his evil and corruption, they flattened his empire for good....at the cost of their freedom.
But now that you've released Ting-Lu from captivity, you wondered if Raifort's reaction to it was going to lead to something similar.
Or, as they say, if history was going to repeat itself.
She did offer to take it away from you despite not knowing the bond you've formed with it during your time exploring and teaching it new moves. And she seemed very insistent that you collected data on the remaining Ruinous Treasures and not share it with anyone else, acting as though you're her research assistant rather than a student like every other kid in this academy.
But you trusted Ting-Lu's judgement, even though in your heart you didn't want to believe she was secretly some corrupt and evil person. You didn't wanna stir up any rumors or conspiracies that could get her fired or you expelled.
So for now, you decided that the best thing to do was gather data and only send it to her via rotomphone and give her updates that way.
You won't let her see any of the Ruinous Pokémon face-to-face anymore...and unless you're attending her class, you'll try to avoid bumping into her as often as you can, fearing how she'll react if you catch any of the others.
In order to keep her, yourself, and possibly all of Paldea safe...this was the best course of action.
#little drabble yippeee#also this makes me wonder#maybe raifort is a descendant of the king and she chose not to disclose that-#hmm#anyways havent written for pkmn in a minute so this helped me jump back into it!#clanask#anonymous#pokemon x reader#pokemon scarlet x reader#pokemon violet x reader#professor raifort#ting lu#platonic

Hey there! Wait, I should probably use a traditional Paldean Greeting. Let's try agian.
'Ello, 'ello, hola! Ciao and bonjour! Yeah, that's right. Man, you Paldeans sure are weird. Can't believe you say that every time you greet eachother, its so long.
Anyways, hey, I'm Zinnia, just a traveling Pokemon trainer dreaming of taking a little trip into space. I'm also, as it happens, a one hund-er-ed precent gen-u-ine Draconid Lorekeeper. Please, save your applause.
I've been hit with the travel bug again and I was thinking of trying someplace new. I've already been to Unova and Sinnoh a bunch so I was thinking why don't I try Paldea. And, since your school's got the largest library in the region, I've just gotta visit and see what you've got. I love a good story, you get me?
I can't just waltz in and take a look, though. I mean, I could, but that'd be real rude. And what kinda Lorekeeper would I be if I read and ran? So I was thinking we could do a little equivalent exchange. I get full access to your library and in exchange maybe I could give a guest lecture or three on Hoenn history. It's a win-win. I get to read books and share knowledge and you get an extra history teacher for a bit.
Course, I know you can't okay this. After all, you're just Clive, totally normal and radical student, but I'd be totally down to schedule an appointment. with the Director And by schedule an appointment i mean I broke into his office five minutes ago and am currently sitting in his chair. I'd advise changing the locks but that really wouldn't help.
-Zinnia, Lorekeeper of the Draconid People (@last-lorekeeper)
Why hello there, Lorekeeper Zinnia! ...That catchphrase is pretty much just Iono around these parts, but hey, can't blame you! It's trendy.
We'd be happy to do a library loan of any sort to you regardless of the state of the situation, buuuuut I do in fact see you are in the director's chair. So I can certainly... expedite that meeting for you. Cultural exchange is pretty sick, anyways! I'm sure there won't be any major challenges. Ms. Raifort would surely indulge some learning directly from the source!
...Clavell will be right over.

No, I don't think so. Remember, SwSh gave us Nessa and SV, for as much as I was shirking off the human designs, did give us my beautiful wife: Ms. Raifort

So how you feel about the second part of the dlc coming out soon?
Honest answer - I'm hyped!
I've seen the new features in the latest trailer, and I can't wait to try them out!
I also can't wait to transfer my Malamars into Violet too! My Inkays too!
I hope I can evolve both Astrid and Urchin(my two shiny Inkays). They're lvl 100 and really wanna become Malamars.
I've been curious about Area Zero, and I'm gonna like getting to see what lurks at the very center of the void underneath Paldea. I'm also curious about Terapagos, and equally-as-curious about the 19th tera type. It may have an official name, but, until it's revealed, I'm calling it 'Omni-Tera'.
That 'Synchro Machine' thing sounds interesting too. I hope it can be used with all mons and not just 'pika-clones'.
On the Pokemon side of things surrounding The Indigo Disk -
Peseta has been keeping tabs on what gets revealed in the days leading up to the second school trip, and they get very intrigued by the concept of the 'Synchro Machine'. They're also working to modify some old robot mons to allow for the mons of 'Team Paldea' to make it to Blueberry when the day comes.
Chien-Pao hears from the occasional visitor from the academy about the trip and becomes quite curious. After pondering about if he'd be allowed to go(as he's a friend of Wo's), they're quick to lead Ms Raifort to the shrine. After some exploration of the shrine and talking to Pao about life as a Ruin, she manages to persuade Clavell to give the leopard a Blueberry Biomes access card. She tells him not to lose it after giving it to him.
In Kitakami, Wo-Chien is also keeping an eye on the date. He tells Oki and Ogerpon, alongside Kiki and Mortcha, about the trip, which makes them curious too. They prepare in their own ways, while Wo makes a list of things that he wants to do when he gets the Blueberry. The snail is also the only one out of the 'Team Paldea' mons to have the 'all-access' card too, as he's gonna help students in the classrooms as well as go into the Biomes with the others. He doesn't know it yet, but when he gets to Blueberry, he's gonna get to know that, once he discovers how to, he'll get to see legendaries that he's only been able to write and hear about first-hand.

Burnt Caramel Vulpix Sundae: What's your favorite regional variant Pokemon? Is there a Pokemon that you like the 'regular' form of over it's regional variant?
Playful Pancham Fried Rice: What was your favorite game as a kid?
Hot Litwick Cocoa: What's the spookiest ghost story you can think of?
Chikorita Bruschetta: Tell us about a legend/myth from your home region!
-@davepetatrains
This one got a bit long, so I'm leaving the answers under the cut as to not flood your feed.
BURNT CARAMEL VULPIX SUNDAE:
I gotta say I grew really attached to Hisuian Decidueye after that little trip to Hisui. And for the second question, I'd say Galarian Meowth is much worse than the other forms. It's much more difficult to handle in any scenario.
PLAYFUL PANCHAM FRIED RICE:
I do remember loving to play this game as a kid with my friends. No idea what it's called in Galarian, but it's basically tag, but you're immune to being tagged as long as you have the high ground (you couldn't stay at any elevated position for longer than 5 seconds). It's a simple rule change that made the game way more fun in my opinion.
HOT LITWICK COCOA
I'm not good with spooky stories, unless retelling the plot of Luigi's Mansion counts.
CHIKORITA BRUSCHETTA
If we're going by my current home, I'd say my favorite story is that one about the Treasures of Ruin.
Basically, a King from the Paldean Dynasty brought back some treasure from a trip overseas, but turns out it was all cursed. The artifacts came to life and built themselves bodies out of the elements of their surroundings, then proceeded to destroy the kingdom and leave the castle in ruins. Someone managed to seal them, though. Too bad Ms. Raifort and I found one of the seals the other day and are now trying to unleash these guys back into the world to study them.
(OOC NOTE: Clover is meant to be originally from whatever the Pokémon equivalent to Brazil is, but since we don't have a canon name/any kind of lore yet I'll just refrain from mentioning her birthplace until we actually get a Brazil inspired region)

Read the rules below or perish by my wrath and sword. I'll know if you haven't read them.
Absolutely no drama. I don't touch anti/proship discourse either. So long as what someone writes isn't fucking illegal or abusive I do not care. - If you have proof (screenshots, etc.) of a mun being abusive or doing illegal shit, feel free to send them to me.
Shipping only with chemistry. - I reserve the right to say no. - Multiship. - No romance/sexual ship with minors (mun AND muse). -- Platonic ships are welcome and encouraged. - We do not ship with pokemon at all here, UNLESS it is a legendary pokemon played similarly to a GREEK GOD (e.g. human form, intellect, comprehension, and ability to consent.)
Oc friendly. So long as you have a decent amount of information on them for me to work with and I can see that you put effort into your blog and muse, I welcome you.
Do not softblock me. If you want to get rid of me, hardblock me. That way I will not think that tumblr made a mistake and refollow again. This'll ease the stress and work for both of us.
I reserve the right to drop any and all interactions any time I want. - You're free to ask why, but then don't get butthurt if I say it's because of your muse or the thread topic.
You can remind me of a thread once every three days.
I fucking ADORE crossovers. I fucking LOVE AUs for other fandoms. - Ask me what fandoms I'm familiar with. We can work something out!
I will absolutely never write anything noncon/dubcon/r*pe related whatsoever. Mentions of such may be the case, as well as potentially be part of my muse's story or backstory, but I will never actually post anything that actively describes that assault.
Do not aim to kill or maim my muse without my consent. - Raifort is antagonist/villain coded, but that does not give you the right to have your muse hero-complex on her for no fucking reason. If that is the type of conflict you want to write with me, approach me privately first. - - If you still do try without talking to me first about it, I will ignore you. - Unless your muse is directly involved with Ms. Raifort, they cannot know of her real motives and history. If you want our muses to have pre-established history together, approach me in DMs, I love that sort of thing! But only if you give me a chance to put my own mark on it as well.
I adore villain redemption arcs, but that's going to take a lot of time for Raifort. She's pretty antisocial, and doesn't like people much. Which means that it's going to be harder to get through to her. - She's not perfect. In fact, she's an insanely flawed woman. She WILL fuck up. She WILL do awful things. But she's still a PERSON.
If you have any problems with me, the writer as a person, approach me in DMs. I promise I don't want to fight. But I will also not let myself be bullied into compliance.
More rules will be added or removed as they become (un)relevant.
Please like this post if you have read it. Thank you in advance.
I promise I'm much more chill than I sound like here. I'm more afraid of you than you of me, probably!

This is the rare pair I just pitched to my gf and I UGH
I feel like they wouldn't like each other at first? Ms. Briar is clearly a well-off academic and really, really knows her stuff whereas Raifort is.. well, interested in history but she's a treasure hunter through and through. Hearing that some well bred rich bitch, who /doesn't even go here/, has come to Paldea and gotten permission to search fot what's probably the greatest treasure lead of her life?? Would probably incite some MAD rivalry. I mean, why else is Raifort teaching other than to be as close to the powers that deem who can and cannot go to area zero?? She sure as shit isn't in it for the kids!
I'd imagine Ms. Briar would balk at working with Raifort, especially given her dubious ethics but Raifort has something that Ms. Briar doesn't - actual experience in hunting down historical artifacts. So obviously they need to be forced to do research together. Of course!
Begrudgingly, Raifort would probably save Ms. Briar on several occasions from the consequences of her curiosity run wild. And after a while, Ms. Briar comes to respect Raifort's unorthodox methods of cave exploration and pokemon wrangling.
Anyways. Yes. They're girlfriends.

So, we're in agreement, right? Ms. Briar and sus teacher Raifort are girlfriends.
