If you are planning to purchase the new pokemon games and have issues with flashing lights consider waiting for a while, as of launch the game has some graphical errors that can result in flashing images and sudden changes in lighting, I know if I where playing it it would for sure give me headaches. So wait for them to release some patches to fix the errors before playing if flashing lights or imagery are a concern for you
