Despite being Johto pokemon, Houndour, Slugma and Murkrow are native to Kanto in the original gen 2 games. In HGSS they changed this by making them available in the safari zone

The teraleaks inspired me to make concept art for my regional houndoom fakemon, now called Groundoom/dour. It’s not really regional form, but it’s still ecologically similar to houndoom, kinda like how Wiglett is with Diglett
