Team Flare

I'm not wearing that suit and I'm not changing my hair. Lysandre is easily the fucking dumbest antagonist and if their plan is successful either they're immortal and I have to live with these losers forever or the whole world dies and I have to live with these losers until I die.

Team Yell

This entire team is centered around having a parasocial relationship with a teenage girl. Also British.

Team Galactic

Similar horrible haircut, bad outfit, and death cult scenario to Team Flare. At least they're like a semi-actual company. I could maybe just go bald and get a regular job after the Poke-government liquidates Team Galactic LLC. But I legitimately think this would be the least fun evil company to work at. Imagine stealing some kids Pokemon but you get chewed out by fucking Galactic Admin Uranus because you forgot to fill out the Paperwork.

The Lame Part of Team Plasma

Okay so to clarify these are the people that actually believe in the Team Plasma shit, which means I'd probably be spit on in the streets while wearing chainmail in New York. Why the fuck would I wear Chain Mail on the East Coast? Do you know how much rust there is? Also I have to become a ginger and worship some green manchild as a monarch. At least they're not a death cult.

Team Rocket

This one is just being a criminal. Like, yeah, you get to steal Pokemon but there's no real advantages except the free gray boots. Probably does not pay well and Giovanni leaving kind of sent them spiraling. Plus they have a lot of Koffings in an underground base so you know there's like lung damage galore. The R stands for Respiratory Distress.

Team Aqua

I don't like the idea of being surrounded by the ocean and I do not like boats and submarines. I would actively join this to sabotage their plan. Also every other evil team has an actual place to put their Pokeballs but this one it seems like the plan is to just shove it in my underwear? ???

Team Star

I haven't actually played Scarlet and Violet because I recently learned I can legally drink. I think this one is the equivalent of a school club? So I'm not actually getting paid to do evil shit. I'd probably just join, like, DnD club or something.

Team Rainbow Rocket

I'd join this one just because I know it's going to fail. I mean, it's got like four people who explicitly just want to end the world in different ways. I'm just gonna join and steal pens and shit until it eventually crashes in on itself for infighting. I'd wear my gay-ass R shirt every june in line with a P, I, D, and E.

The Cool Part of Team Plasma

Fuck yeah. This is the Team Plasma that knows the shit Ghetsis is up to. I'd love to be in on the scheme, plus I don't have to wear chainmail. Downside is I'd probably get murdered or have to murder to stay in, and they have the biggest shot of accomplishing their goal. But Ghetsis is hot so that's a plus.

Team Magma

This one is because there's 0.0% chance this plan will work but I get to just hang out in these cute-ass hoodies and pet camerupts all day. Look at that outfit, I'd wear that all the time. That being said, would probably have to be a field guy. Their location is in a volcano. I'm gonna get a call that says 'Hey all of Team Magma's leadership died' and I'd have to get a job at like Poke7-11 with a major gap in my resume.

Macro Cosmos

This hardly counts as a villain team because they're just, like, security guards for a company whose CEO goes a lil nuts. This is like if you worked for Virgin Atlantic and Richard Branson decided to summon Satan. No one can really put that on you. You'd probably get paid ridiculous amounts of money for essentially doing nothing. Con is you'd have to live in Galar.

Aether Foundation

Working for the Aether Foundation is like doing an internship at Bell Labs or whatever. The evil shit is probably fixed by the end of the game and I could just go back to researching Rotom electromagnetic applications and have that 'week where we tried to fuck up reality' be a weird company thing we brush under the rug. The con is they have all white outfits so I can't eat spaghetti at work. But even if I left I could probably just use Aether Foundation as a decent enough jumping off point for any career.

Team Skull

Genuinely this is just goofing off with a bunch of scummy weirdos. I can respect that and their outfits are thankfully not skin-tight jumpsuits, but main I'd join because they all kind of suck. With the most moderate competency I could run Team Skull. Also Guzma. He's pretty hot.

in which the elated one chooses a creature to become THEIR emanator. THEY repeat THEIR actions once again, but this time, with a trotter.

"HAHAHA! maybe this time it'll join the genius society!"

[ a. n. ] ok so i have no idea where i was going with this, but all i had in my mind is trailblazer having their own companion, kinda like a pokemon, and that manhwa where that lady got transformed into a crow. i have no idea how those two connect but, fuck it we ball.

trotters. cute, interdimensional creatures lost in the stars. cowardly as well, since it spends most of its lifetime feeding and fleeing. but for some, they consider these creatures as good omens, or their companions, on their travels in the vast galaxy.

which is why THEY, the elated one, are curious about these little guys. these silly, little guys. aha chortles at THEIR words, masks and props and cards and all sorts of fun knick knacks jingling and swishing and swirling around the aeon.

and so the aeon spread out THEIR arms, masks searching for an unlucky trotter to be the victim of their fun. THEY searched and searched, high and low, casting THEIR gaze far and wide into galaxies that THEY know.

aha smiles with mischief. what if THEY gave one of these creatures sentience? give it fathomless intelligence, just like THEY did to that tiny noblesse worm. maybe this time, it can join the genius society, and then the universe will be shocked that a cowardly creature such as a trotter caught the gaze of that hunk of junk instead of a human! oh how hilarious would that be to see! aha laughs with tears in THEIR eyes as THEY get amused by THEIR mischievous thoughts.

those who follow the elation sense a change in the atmosphere, and they immediately knew that it was related to their beloved aeon. inside a tavern, many laughed in anticipation, eager to see what their elated one is about to do. “oh i do hope the laughter will use bombs and explosions!” one fool said in glee as she giggled and twirled around and around, fiery sparklers enhancing her joy even further.

hundreds of galaxies away, a lonely trotter walks on a path in an unknown planet, mind fixed on doing two things. flee and feed. but it was getting to the creature, and so with a sad, little ‘oink’, it sat down on the ground and looked up in the vast sky, shiny ears falling down in misery.

it sniffed, curling up in itself as the loneliness got to them. it doesn’t know how long it was traveling, but it knows that it was too long to count. or remember.

before the innocent trotter could continue to wallow in its pity party, the aeon of elation had finally arrived. loud noises accompanied THEIR arrival, making the creature scramble away from the eldritch being in front of it, body shaking in fear as it tried to make itself as small as possible.

aha cackles with elation. finally, THEY have found it! the perfect trotter to become THEIR emanator. with a wave of THEIR hand, the aeon gave the helpless creature the entirety of THEIR path’s power, just like THEY did to that worm. with a giggle of glee, aha ascends to the stars once more, taking the trotter with THEM as THEIR elation spreads throughout the mind and body of the creature.

let’s see if you can surpass that worm, little trotter. 

with a final laugh, aha sends the trotter to the place of one genius society member, THEIR elation being felt all around the cosmos once again.

Ok some more drawings for today

Been trying to figure out what I want to dress up as when give out candy to the kids this Halloween 🎃 so there’s some sketches of a fairy 🧚‍♀️ idea I wanted to do with my Pokemon Mimikyu overall dress I got from a artist on instagram/tiktok

And then I’ve some more ideas running around for a Fairly odd parents with Jimmy Timmy power hour nicktoons unite nick naming it Fairy Timmy with the nicktoons au for short (think that works until something else pops in my adhd brain or someone suggests something better)

Ok now onto Fairy Timmy with the nicktoons

My last update on this was Jimmy (and SpongeBob) now has to confront fact that he now knows Fairies (and other magical creatures) are very much real in Timmy’s universe; he already knows about Danny’s universe ghosts are real although now has the information Danny Phantom is Danny Fenton and is like half ghost but that not what’s his main concern (his main concern is he’s starting to fall for Timmy & the fact him turned into a fairy makes him extremely cute doesn’t help at all; Danny loves to tease Jimmy about his crush on Timmy all the time; it’s a great distraction from getting Jimmy to try to study the ghosts too much from his universe he finds)

Fairy Felicity who’s Timmy and Poof/Peri’s teachers on how to handle one’s fairy magic likes to pop into Jimmy’s universe to help teach them because back in fairy world both are kinda celebrities and she doesn’t want any them filming the only fairy children in existence in over a million years and cause Poof/timmy to accidentally create trouble by crying because we all know what happens when fairy children cry

But sometimes Jimmy likes to butt into her lessons with questions about fairies but she doesn’t mind that being as in turn he does help her out with her teachings (mostly when talking about science stuff being as she likes to teaching more about the arts)

So though being there for some of the fairy lessons Timmy and toddler poof/peri have Jimmy ends up learning things about fairies like how dangerous magical back up is or that it’s the male fairies who have the kids (Jimmy did end up asking a lot of questions about that one asking if that means fairies are not like sea horses then? And then having to ask if when she got turn into fairy does that means she took on a female fairy’s — she had to stop Jimmy right there and with a very red face admitted to yes she very much had to take on EVERYTHING that female fairy bodies undergo and in that aspect Timmy will have to take on what male fairies have to go through and Danny who ended up overhearing into this conversation ends up going wait wait what it’s the MALE fairies that have the babies while SpongeBob like oooh like sea horses do?

It’s not until much much later after felicity takes Timmy and Pof/peri back to Wanda &Cosmo fishbowl-home that’s now in Cole’s place being as Wanda and Cosmo have to still be her godparents while raising Timmy & Poof/peri at the same time (once they’re done being her godparents they’ll retrie from being godparents to finish raising Timmy & Poof/Peri then once they’re gone off to fairy high school training they’ll go on the time travel vacations in my au when that happens Timmy will visit Jimmy and nicktoons gang on his own or Poof Peri might tag along at times when not busy)

For their family dinner time Danny starts teasing Jimmy about he might need to use protection when dating Timmy in the just to have Jimmy run around the lab after him to get him to shut it off

Welcome to an AU that came to me in a vision during my annual Leverage rewatch called "The Leverage AU."

I don't know if I'll ever touch it again (although I am hosting a Leverage watch party so maybe) but just in case I'm putting my brain dump under the cut.

After Rui leaves Orre, she goes to the law enforcement to try and get protection for Wes, especially as they just left the region with a giant power vacuum.

Meanwhile Chief Anabel at Interpol is at her wits end. She has a case file of suspected criminals, who she knows is are the masterminds and/or leaders of various evil Teams, but with no evidence to arrest them.

Looker presents her with the case files of various criminals in custody (plus Wes) and presents an idea: a task force of criminals under the control and direction of Rui, and by extension Interpol.

Given that she has no other options, Chief Anabel signs off on the newly created Alternative Evidence and Legal Dispute Unit, or AELDU for short.

As far as technical expertise (ie. crime knowledge) goes, Wes is the linchpin holding the whole operation together. You need a wallet lifted? Wes can do it. You need someone to silently break into a building through the air ducts? Wes can do it. You need someone to beat the shit out of four grunts? Wes can do it.

On the other side of the coin, N is the grifter of the group. He can play any role you need him to. He can be a long lost Galarian Duke, a savvy up and coming business owner, a flirty one night stand, etc. He grew up learning all the manipulation tactics and cons in the books, and he's glad to be able to use his knowledge for good instead.

Penny is obviously the hacker.

Gladion is honestly really bad at crime. He got caught graffitting a cop car. However, he's really passionate and eager to learn, and while N doesn't think the kids (Penny and Gladion) should be getting involved in crime, even if it's for a good cause. Wes is working on getting Gladion's lockpicking time under 5 seconds and his punches into form.

Rui was initially just there to keep everyone in line, be the moral compass of the team. However, Rui is the granddaughter of Ace Trainer Eagun, who had the reputation of being a master of strategy. Rui is the one who puts together the full plans for the team to follow, and she picks up some manipulation skills from N and ass kicking skills from Wes.

Wes can do a little bit of grifting, but his skills only extend to "however long it takes for him to get out of whatever shit he got himself in." If you've seen the show, think Parker level grifting: he can be a fake waiter for the two minutes it takes him to get to the back.

Wes becomes the older brother figure to Rui, Penny and Gladion against his will. To be clear, he is a terrible role model. He is trying his best anyways.

Meanwhile, N takes it upon himself to be an older brother figure for Wes. Wes also hates this.

Rui hides Plusle in her jacket and uses the Pokemon as a taser.

N is an excellent actor when it comes to swindling and every day situations. You put him on a stage or in front of a camera? He's the worst actor you've ever seen. Rui is very gently trying dissuade N's dreams of an acting career.

Wes's jacket even has a role in the team! Wes has so much random shit in his pockets that he's snagged that he never thought would come in handy until now.

When they put Wes into a role (ie. fake caterer, fake baseball player, fake country star, etc), he gets WAY to into his role. Sorry gang, Wes can't search the house for the safe, he's too busy chopping onions for the appetizers.

Leon sometimes orbited in the vicinity of the gang's marks, as the only full time Champion and pretty much a celebrity. One time, Wes (undercover as a waiter) got caught kicking the ass of some Macro Cosmos agents. He was completely unprepared for the response from Leon being like "that was so cool!"

Later, Rui and N have to coach Wes on how to go on a date.

I love all the Nicktoons Unite fan art where all the characters live together in a big house and it gave me some head canon ideas:

Wanda is motherly to Danny and worries over how much he hurts himself in battles

Cosmo and SpongeBob would enjoy being silly goobers together

They have a pet playdates with Gary (SpongeBob's snail), Goddard (Jimmy's robo dog), Sparky (Timmy's fairy dog) and Cujo (Danny's ghost pup)

Everyone gets annoyed when Timmy uses magic for chores (he's also the messiest)

Jimmy helps Danny fulfill his dream of becoming an astronaut

Timmy and SpongeBob often play with toys together, especially ones poofed up by Cosmo and Wanda

Timmy loves super heroes and action so he wishes to have ghost powers like Danny and becomes his sidekick and helps him with ghost problems now and then

Every Friday night they have a sleepover in someone's home dimension. For SpongeBob's Timmy wishes everyone can breathe underwater before leaving or they have Jimmy's bubble gum that also gives them this ability.

When a team member qualifies as being more miserable than Timmy, he can wish Cosmo and Wanda were their fairy god parents for the day (he did this for Tootie's birthday)

When SpongeBob absorbs another's DNA, he can become like that person in appearance, personality and abilities (absorbs Danny's ectoplasm and he gets ghost powers, fairy dust and becomes a fairy, Jimmy's saliva and becomes super smart and gets a coif of heresy kiss shaped hair and Timmy's saliva, he gets buck teeth, a pink hat and love of Crimson Chin)

Being the two oldest, SpongeBob and Danny act more as the caregivers of the group but can be just as silly and childish a lot of times

SpongeBob's fav song is "Giant Hamburger" by Parry Gripp. Jimmy's is "Why does the sun shine" by They Might Be Giants. Timmy's is the Pokemon anime theme song. And Danny's fav song would probably be "Galaxies" by Owl City.

I swear I'm THIS 🤏 close to making a petition for this to be a Nickelodeon cartoon/comic. I NEED to see these boys being a sweet family together! 😭

I've had some more thoughts on Leon, so I'm posting them once more

One of the overarching themes of Pokemon SWSH is the idea of Legacy and what that means to certain characters. I'm sure people more eloquent and who have gone more depth have talked a lot about what that means for certain characters like Hop, Marnie, Sonia, ect., but Legacy for Leon looks a little different.

For the other characters the things passed down (or in Hop's case he figured would be passed down to him), were things they either wanted, or were given by family members (Family being another one of those themes). In Leon's case, he was being primed to create his own legacy, one that could be passed down to someone else, and then fill in the gaps Rose left behind once Rose stepped down from his positions at Macro Cosmos. The other character's had choices in what they wanted to do (Sonia being the only one who maybe either didn't or felt like she didn't), but Leon certainly didn't while Rose was still in the picture. His whole legacy and future was handed to him on a platter, and Leon had to uphold it or else it would all crumble.

So I find it fascinating that instead of feeling lost immediately after having the rug ripped out from under him, Leon's first instinct is to build up his legacy again. Create something from the ashes. Honestly, it can come off as both him being resilient, and as him avoiding facing down the true meaning of what it is to lose. If he creates the Battle Tower, runs tournaments, helps other characters find redemption, then I believe he's likely trying to recapture what was taken from him, and also show he won't give up.

No matter what, he's free to create his own destiny, have a legacy he created, and I think that's neat

Just like last time, my thoughts for Pokemon Legends are immediately subsumed by potential futures rather than the immediate present

This time it's because the title is "Z-A", confirming that the titles are not directly named after the associated Legendary while also giving the impression that unused titles like Z are being revisited. Since that won't be applicable to every generation, though, they may also draw from concepts, places, times, people, etc.

With that in mind

Gen 1: Legends Rainbow - the player is a Rocket Scientist (not a literal one, but one that works for a not-yet-totally-evil Team Rocket) working in the Pokemon Mansion and the project to clone Mew; the first major story beat after the tutorial is the discovery of a Mew sample, with the rest being further research and gathering materials needed for the cloning process/raising process for Mewtwo; named Rainbow in reference to being a part of the color generation and as a nod to Team Rocket's eventual evolution into Team Rainbow Rocket

Gen 2: Legends Brass - focuses on the Brass Tower and the events leading up to the creation of the Beast Trio; possibly the only game that doesn't somehow involve the player being part of a to-be villainous team; may introduce a new "Brass" or "Copper Legendary" to complement Ho-Oh and Lugia's Gold and Silver

Gen 3: Legends Meteor - the player chooses between being on the Magma or Aqua research team and investigates the ecological effects of a recently fallen meteor that, unbeknownst to anyone, carries Deoxys; may also be fun to call it "Legends Peridot," as generation 3 was the gem generation and peridot are found in meteors

Gen 5: Legends Grey - the player is a Plasma Knight under the Twin Heroes; halfway through the game, the Heroes have a falling out that splits the Original Dragon, and the player must choose who to side with (though they will likely end up seeing the other half of the story later cus the idea will be to understand both sides)

Gen 7: Legends Stars - the player begins as a resident of Ultra Megalopolis and member of the Ultra Recon Squad, with Poipole and two other Ultra Beasts as their possible starters, exploring Ultra Space. At the midpoint of the game, the player goes on a recon mission to Alola, where they capture a new "starter" to help blend in

Gen 8: Legends Darkness - leads up to the events of the Darkest Day; rather than being a part of an equivalent to Team Yell, the player is part of the group that one day becomes the Macro Cosmos conglomerate; could also be called "Legends Armor" or "Legends Arrow" or something to that effect if they want to complete the Hero Trio with a "Zayellow"

Gen 9: Legends Zero - covers the events of the Area Zero expedition with Heath and has the player being flung between the past and future, possibly getting branched evolutions for their starter based on which time period they evolve in

Pokemon SWSH Headcanon

I like the interpretation that Rose's reasons to push back the Championship Matches differ from what he tells Leon.

Rose's afraid that he'll lose to the player character, thus losing Macro Cosmos Leon as the Champion. Losing all the status and prestige associated with it, and how they controlled him. All things Rose and Oleana could've used on top of controlling Eternatus through him = the entirety of Galar's energy supply.

They could crowd any competition, existing and theorized, because the pokemon could create the needed energy at any time for any location. No need for a medium like wind turbines, solar panels, or the likes. Or that is the idea.

Of course, he wouldn't have told Leon that. And maybe Leon knows him well enough, on top of his observational skills, that he'd have realized Rose was lying or hiding something if he came up with any other excuse.

So instead, Rose puts forward the information about the energy running out. He is anxious about that, after all. Only not for the reasons he seems to (clumsily) imply to Leon.

He is anxious to lose his control over the energy supply.

Which would make his anxiety much more reasonable to understand if you stay with the canon numbers about how far in the future the Galar particles will have been used up.

Anyways you’ve poked me so I’m going to talk about it now. Sorry not sorry.

Before I say anything: “Moth, Tinker, don’t like, all your characters live in galar?” Yes! Because when you’re making an au for Pokémon why make a region out of scratch, when Game Freak’s left a perfectly good blank slate for you right there?

Anyways with that out of the way, I’m putting this under a cut because this is going to be long.

Sword and shield are such disappointing games. You could say a million things about it— the graphics, the routes, the nat dex cut, so on and so forth, but that’s a long dead horse and im not going to start beating it.

I like Sw/Sh’s story. Or, more accurately I like the idea of the story that the games tried and failed to give us. I really want to say there’s something there to grasp at, but honestly? There’s not. Nothing burger ass game.

The plot up until the climax of the story is “The darkest day was a thing and there was a hero that stopped it. Bede’s mean and wants wishing stars. Wait, what?! There’s two heroes? And badass dogs? No way!”

It genuinely feels like they had a full story arc with plot beats written out, but had to scratch everything besides the climax and try to fill in the gaping plot holes as quickly as they could before they hit the deadline for release. It’s so jarring and bizarre when you reach the climax of the story, because it’s just… out of nowhere? You and Hop try to break into the Macro Cosmos tower to interrupt Leon’s meeting because he was… late for dinner? And Oleana hears this and starts acting like an unhinged evil antagonist out of nowhere, even though at the moment not letting you in is just, perfectly logical?

And then the whole hide and seek game she does for the keys— Team Yell joining in, none of this feels deserved at all, probably because there was, I don’t know, supposed to be things happening before this that properly built up to it?

It’s so frustrating, because if they had even executed the story at all, it would’ve been so cool. The guy who practically MADE galar is re-awakening what is basically an eldritch god in a misguided attempt to save the region from future disaster (trauma? Paranoia? All of the above?) but his plan backfires and nearly destroys everything instead??? It’s such a cool idea! And it’s just. Barely even executed at all.

Oleana and Rose both could’ve been such interesting characters. Their Pokémon teams are symbolic of themselves as people, for crying out loud! Imagine how cool those fights, especially Oleana’s, could’ve been if there had been a proper fucking storyline??

(I won’t go too in-depth, but Oleana using beautiful and feminine Pokémon up until her g-max garbador ace— a literal heaping pile of trash? And how that represents the her horrible personality hidden behind her appearance?

And how Rose’s team is made up of thorn and thorn-like Pokémon, as well as industrial Pokémon and his childhood starter? Without a rose in sight? He’s lost who he was to the pursuit of innovation or something. There’s no Rose anymore, only the thorns. Too bad there’s nothing before these moments.)

It ends up just feeling like a barely even executed dollar store version of Sun and Moon. You’ve got the punk evil team who isn’t actually evil, the altruistic company/foundation that turns out to be far worse than the evil team, extraterrestrial pokemon who are very debatably Pokémon being brought into the world and causing problems? Yeah everything screams “we tried to recreate the s/m formula,” down to Hop using Hau’s animations. Insane.

(Also team yell feels like another dead horse that I don’t want to beat— but they don’t work like Team Skull did. Team skull worked! Really well in my opinion! Meanwhile Team Yell is just… kind of a vague nuisance. I get that was the point, but if Macro Cosmos was going to be the villains— why not give any buildup beforehand? Oh well. I said I wouldn’t beat the dead horse.)

Tl;dr: Sword and shield is barely even trash, it’s an empty dumpster with some unopened cans in it and I am sitting in there playing with the cans trying to create a coherent story out of it. Man galar’s good if only it was good. Go watch Twilight wings it’s Galar if it was good

I don't know how popular an opinion this is, but I wish Pokemon contests got more focus in games. Not just because they're a fun concept but it feels like, as the games get more advanced, they could do more fun stuff with them. Like, I can EASILY imagine Galar has Pokemon contests that are these huge, celebrity style things.

Hi there l-egionaire! I wouldn't say it's unpopular opinion. I've seen more than one person mention they wished contests (and just other modes of playing with Pokemon) had more focus in the games especially as we jumped to 3D. Myself Included I have to mention even though I've been into Pokemon since I was 5 (in the Kanto days of the anime), I didn't actually get to play a mainline game until gen 3. So Gens 3-5 have a huge impact on how I view the franchise from the gameverse side of things and I have to admit one thing that has bothered me since the jump to 3D (and especially the jump to open world formats) is the lack of game modes that use Pokemon in ways like Contests, Musicals, Pokeathlon and Pokestar Studios do. As a kid I would often spend time doing the contests in both Emerald Diamond and I spent many hours playing in the musicals and Pokestar Studio. I even got SoulSilver a couple years back and I've played a lot of Pokeathlon.

I will freely admit that I don't always enjoy the Switch games as much as I did previous games because everything is centered on Complete League, Shiny Hunting, Raids and Pokedexes. I have completed the Pokedex once (for Swsh and will do it complete Legends Arceus) but I will be candid I hate the idea of completing the Pokedex. I don't care for the majority shinies (if I see one in the wild randomly I will catch it) so shiny hunting out. They've done a piss poor job at handling raids I legitimately wish they either heavily rework it (I'll get into this a bit more later) or just scrap it for gen 10. And well the league is the only thing I still enjoy but even then I like having something else to do other than beat up on the gym leaders/elite four/champion all the time.

Contests definitely rank up there as one of my favorite traditional sidequests both from the games and anime so I would've love to have seen it in be expanded beyond Hoenn and Sinnoh. However I disagree that Galar would've been good place to expand on it just because the very theme of Galar really is centered on battles. Unless they were going to pull from the anime where the Contests had a Battle Portion I don't see the Contests having a big footing in Galar just because of how the worldbuilding is set. I do think if we were talking about a region that could've had a huge celebrity focus on Contests I think it would be Kalos. A lot of the theme surrounding Kalos as a region is different ways to define beauty and Contests bring out beauty in both an inner and outer sense. I would think Kalos would be a good place to have bigger contests (as well as a Pokemon racing feature because it was sad that we had out mom in the games be a Rhyhorn racer yet not racing mini-mode where we could've even competed against her). Now going back to the Dynamax Raids...I do think it would've been cool if lore-wise doing the raids was a popular side sport in addition to the behemoth that is the Galar League. Like maybe it's how gym leaders practice to keep their major division ranks or move up from the minor league (something I do implement in cactusverse). Could be that people join teams to see who can raid the most dens in a given time limit (with BP being the prize for finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd). Perhaps Macro Cosmos hosts teams to go in and collect the Watts to help power Galar. Maybe some people (like say the opposite gender protagonist) are really interested in catching G-max forms (sidenote this is something I do with Victor in cactusverse). I think by adding more lore to it as a popular side sport

And I’ll say it as many times as I can I cannot hate Timmy Turner he’s just a kid who has some of the most crazy neglectful parents I’ve ever seen and the human adults of his life keep failing him over and over again so I don’t blame him for wishes he makes half of wishes going

Bad is because of those selfish adults in his life (some are because of Cosmo though cannot deny that although he doesn’t mean to but a lot of people don’t want to acknowledge that either or fact Cosmo was the one who put the stress on their marriage in some episodes Wanda had to fix a lot of cosmo’s mistakes but thank goodness new wish had cosmo learn to be a better husband again; although i think cosmo got so bad in his behaviour to Wanda was 1 Butch liking to play up the my

Wife a nag & marriage is awful jokes way too much and 2nd that transplant Cosmo had with anti cosmo did affect him some so my guess the retriement Wanda and Cosmo went on was just the thing they needed to focus on their marriage issues and get better with themselves and their marriage again because blaming a kid for ANYONE’s marriage going bad is awful; also with Rules needing to be changed and then blaming Timmy? Heck man rules for everything need to be updated all the time if it wasn’t for Timmy some other kid would’ve come along and made wishes just as bad and then needed to be fixed too but the thing is with Timmy he’d relies himself when he made a bad wish and then wish to fix it himself

I’ve never seen Dev / Remy or any of Wanda & Cosmo’s past god kids regularly go to fix their own mistakes; my guess is Jorgen had to step in and do a lot of damage control on those kids like he had to do with dev; Timmy

Would fix his own mistakes when he relies he made bad mistakes and not all of Timmy’s wishes were bad ones like quite a few times Timmy had to make wishes to fix up the havoc his birth parents created themselves (or in some cases Cosmo’s mistakes as well) heck in a new wish series Hazel had to fix a lot of Dev’s bad wishes

So in conclusion Timmy’s a pretty good kid at heart he’s just dealing with a lot of very selfish adults in his life and seems to have clean up all their mishaps and it’s thanks to Cosmo and Wanda that he can )

I'm thinking of Southern Kalos

Currently, we only explored Northern Kalos, but I kept thinking about where Looker and Anabel currently live and will eventually end up in when retired from Interpol.

For those who don't know, Interpol's HQ IRL is actually located in France. It's in a city called Lyon, which is kind of around the Kiloude area but Kiloude is far too small and undeveloped for me to use it.

So I'm thinking about making half of a new region with the rest of Kalos. Not like... Actually making it for others to enjoy like a video and dex, but I'll talk about it from time to time. Important locations are the Pokemon world versions of Lyon, Nice, the French Riviera in general, and the Pyrenees mountains that separate Kalos from Paldea.

Currently, Looker and Anabel have apartments in Poke-Lyon. It's the "Lumiose" of Southern Kalos and acts as a home base.

Eventually, they'll both move out of the bustle of Poke-Lyon, away from Interpol, to start a family in a smaller, quieter town. I was thinking Cerbère. Daphne and Rune are born here.

It's a small town that's between the borders of Spain and France. Beyond it is the Pyrenees mountains. It can act as a direct connection to Paldea. It was also chosen because it's got a bit of an ocean view. In my idea, it could be a bit bigger and be close to where Daphne and Rune will go to school at: An Academy that's similar to Paldea's school system known as Wildflower Academy. (or maybe Cosmos Academy, still named after a flower but pun on space because ultra space ahaha...)

Anabel probably visits Southern Kalos's Battle Tower-adjacent facility from time to time. She's not a facility head anymore, but she's like a secret boss and enjoying herself. On the flip side, Looker's taking up several hobbies. Maybe he's growing a garden, maybe he's a language tutor, maybe he's doing some personal reading. And maybe he's also at the Battle place for moral support OR dragged to be Anabel's double battle partner!

Their careers I'm leaving vague for now because I can't think of anything concrete that I'm vibing with. But yeah, Southern Kalos.
