Well, today is my day in terms of finding Safari shinies, but... It's not my day catching wise, lol!

Safari week is being brutal to me on the first day so far catching wise.

SHINY FAIL NUMBER 2...ON The 378TH RE OVERALL AND THE 37TH MARILL SEEN, FLEES AFTER 1 BALL THROWN AND 3 SHAKES!

Oddly enough, I found this shiny around the same time I did the qugsire lol, so 2 shinies in 1 day!

Second Safari Week shiny! An appropriate over-odds hunt after that quick sandshrew, I found this Quagsire after 10,944 random encounters!

I usually don't post fails, but I will this time cause that the risks of Safari Week!

My first safari fail..shiny quagsire flees after 1 ball. I'm actually lucky I caught my first ever Safari shiny hoothoot last year, so I kinda expected it.

it was the 192nd encounter overall, and the 20th quagsire encountered fled from me..

I now have a target for my bd Safari week: Quagsire. It was found on June 21st, 2024, at 3:13 am. EST. Hopefully, I get to post a reclaim of this mon!

It's time!!! r/shinypokemon's Safari week event had begun once again!!!

Starting from midnight of June 21st- June 30th is Safari week.

You might be wondering what is Safari Week?

Simple, really, all do you is shiny hunt for mons in firered, leafgreen, Heartgold, Soulsilver, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Brilliant diamond and Shiny pearl's Safari zones where the mons can flee from you.

it's a full odds hunting that has a high risk and high reward if you're lucky due to bragging rights!

This will be my second time I do Safari week, so I'm doing this in brilliant diamond's (bd) great marsh!

Each mon I find will be counted, too.

Update: Safari week has officially ended with 2 failed shinies and 2800 REs done! I will countine hunting till I reclaim Quagsire and marill, so stay tuned!
