Ok so general overview of what I have and what I do:

I don't believe in artificial scarcity. If you want something I have but have nothing to give, ask anyway. Only exception: I don't give away mythical, event, or otherwise unique pokémon. I can touch trade some for dex completion, but they MUST come back, untouched. I'll also ask for another legendary to keep as hostage until mine come back, just for safety.

No Nintendo Switch Online, no Home Premium. All trades will be done via Home (free option) (may write a guide for this if it's needed)

I have saves in different languages, so I can help with Masuda breeding. I can offer (non-perfect) dittos, and I can breed perfect IVs/nature/ability on almost any breedable mon that can be obtained in Switch games (read: some regional formes are... difficult).

I catch everything in regular pokéballs. If you want another kind, I can do it, but it will take more time (depending on game, rarity of the ball, rarity of the pokémon)

Offering:

most of anything that is breedable but not unobtainable because of dexit. If you're looking for hidden abilities, I collected all of them! (Available in swsh/bdsp/sv, at least.)

I can start temporary saves in Shield, Scarlet, PLA, Brilliant Diamond (for legendaries to trade) (this obviously means no events, only repeatable ones)

Trying to fill up that dex without having the game, I found some on the GTS but I'm missing ~80%. Priority - and only legendary I'm missing - goes to Mewtwo; I can do the rest by evolving 1st-evo-stage pokemon in other games

Where are my remakes, @nintendo ?

So, about Gen IV...

I keep seeing people talking about Sinnoh remakes (and more) as if they're going to happen, and I think people just... fundamentally misunderstand why the existing remakes were made. It wasn't just to bring modern tech and gameplay to old games. There is an actual reason they exist.

(Bear with me for a minute, this isn't a short post, but y'all need to understand a thing. This is driving me nuts and it has been for years.)

It started back in Ye Olden Days, which some of y'all aren't old enough to remember, when Ruby/Sapphire came out on the GameBoy Advance. Connectivity from the older GameBoy and GameBoy Color games was completely cut off - you could trade between Red/Green/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal, but couldn't send any of those to RSE. This made a lot of Pokémon completely unobtainable. So, the first remakes were born - FireRed/LeafGreen.

They moved from the GBA to the Nintendo DS within a couple of years, so the next remakes were made on that, for obvious reasons - HeartGold/SoulSilver.

Now, remember: the original DS had a GBA slot at the bottom. This meant that RSE/FRLG were playable on Nintendo's current handheld - every generation was playable using one device, and every Pokémon was obtainable.

But then they move to the 3DS, which no longer has a GBA slot. That's when they make OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire. Now Gen III is playable again! Oh, but Gen I isn't. So what do they do? They don't do another remake - they release RGBY (and eventually GSC) on the 3DS Virtual Console, and you can send Pokémon from those games to the Pokémon Bank.

So, by the end of the 3DS era, again, every single generation is playable on one device. Pokémon from every. single. game. can be brought forward to the most recent games, though it would take multiple transfers to get some of the older ones there.

Here's the thing: you can play Diamond/Pearl/Platinum on the 3DS. You have always been able to. The games are fully compatible. They aren't "next in line for a remake" because there is no reason whatsoever to remake them.

We were never going to get Gen IV remakes in the 3DS era, it wouldn't make any sense.

Ah, but now we've entered the era of the Nintendo Switch! None of the old Pokémon games are playable on that! Maybe they'll do it now!

Yeah, uh, no. Remaking Gen IV would be essentially committing to remaking every single game, RGB through USUM, on the Switch. They're not going to do that. It's an impossible task, not to mention unnecessary. (The only way it could possibly happen is if they do it in the Let's Go style, and even that seems unlikely to me.)

We will never get Gen IV remakes. Main game remakes are done. I'm sorry.

And today’s unique boss theme comes from Pokémon Diamon/Pearl and Platinum. This time it is for Cyrus, the mastermind behind Team Galactic. From all the evil teams Cyrus plan was probably one of the most devastating. He planned to reshape the world with the help of a legendary Pokémon that could either bend space (Palkia) or time (Dialga).  It’s good that our character stepped in and stopped that plan.  Anyway, this is the amazing battle theme for Cyrus. I personally think the 4th generation had some of the best music in Pokémon and is a joy to listen too.

Rin Headcanons (Pokemon)

Since I'm writing a Muse/Pokémon story, I decided to make headcanons of what if they were from the Pokémon world.

General

*Rin would be from the Twinleaf Town in the Sinnoh region.

*Chimchar is her starter Pokémon which she nicknamed Firefly

*She is defiantly a trainer.

*Travels with Hanayo.

*Doesn't really has a type preference. (tends to catch cats, fighting, fire, and electric though)

*Enjoys going to the Pokéathlon in her free time.

*Has a Meowth that walks with her.

Manga Version *The only way she was allowed to go on a journey was if she goes with Hanayo.

*Thier journey would happen after the Team Galactic stuff.

*Meowth would be the Pokemon she has with her at the start.

*Since she already knew Diamon and Pearl she would want to battle them and Platinum everytime they meet.
