#ThursdayFunday was certainly an evening to remember, thanks to @thegrandeman321 for having me again on the Rock City Central podcast! What started as the most hilarious and kind introduction by one of my best friends, @thereal_fanizzi, became an intense conversation about my platform, 1 in 5: From Bullied to Healed, in addition to United States border policies, providing financial assistance to other countries, and more crucial discussions seen in our media daily. Shortly after my interview, a sweet angel named Roselyn was waving to us through the door to the podcast studio, and of course we told her to “come on in”! I was quickly captivated by her pure and genuine heart. With much excitement, she taught me the sign for “Saranghae,” which means “I love you” in Korean. A week ago today was my first full day as 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏. Wearing this beautiful sash across my chest and gorgeous crown on my head would not be possible without 𝐦𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞, which first and foremost begins with the people in this picture with me (plus many others missing from the photo). My family and friends are 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, and it is through God that their incredible influence made me the 𝐆𝐨𝐝-𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝, 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 woman I am today. Purple Party, Laflare Lashes, contestant interviews...oh my! What an exciting weekend it has been at the New Jersey Miss, Ms., Mrs., and Ms. Woman International Pageant 👑💜 I cannot believe how fast the time has come for me to crown my successor tonight. 378 days ago, I was crowned by my family as Miss New Jersey International 2020 on the front porch of my childhood home. As my parents placed my beautiful crown on my head and my stunning sash across my heart, my brother handed me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, while my directors stood 6 feet away on our front lawn taking pictures of us. At that unconventionally intimate moment, my dreams of telling my story on a worldwide stage as a victim of bullying became a reality. In what felt like an instant, my platform and podcast, 1 in 5: From Bullied to Healed, blossomed into a butterfly. This year, I garnered podcast listeners in 18 states and 9 countries, became an official ambassador of Human Being Man Kind, held virtual speaking engagements across the country, and much more. Wow, wow, WOW! Human 𝗕𝗘ing Man 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 🌎 Recently, I went on a walk around my neighborhood with my little brother and our puppy, Gracie. Within 20 minutes, the two small garbage bags I brought with me were filled to the very top. Living in a tourist town just a couple blocks away from one of the most well-known beaches and boardwalks in the Garden State, it breaks my heart to see how my little hometown is left after a beautiful summer weekend. This goes to show how kindness extends well beyond the boundaries of being friendly, respectful, generous, thoughtful, and selfless towards other people. It stretches to performing those kind acts towards our world and animals. Happy Memorial Day from Miss Garden State International 2021 🇺🇸 This morning, my little hometown of Point Pleasant Beach came together to celebrate Memorial Day in our annual Memorial Day Parade. In my favorite town in my favorite state (the Garden State), honoring the legacies left by our veterans and the ones being created by our active duty members overfilled my heart with joy today. This day becomes more special to me each year as reflect upon the incredible sacrifice, bravery, selflessness, and courage of our servicemen and servicewomen, especially my 8 family members: Great-Great-Great-Great Uncle Broderick (U.S. Army veteran of the Civil War), Great-Great Grandpa Jacob H.
