Pick your battles
Imposing emotions
None which are wanted
Opted out quickly
If I would have known it
It's like an unsinkable ship
In a ship sinking storm
Potential to be
Fulfilling of a dream
Reality plays out
Ship sunk sailors drowned
Taking precautions
Spoke words of warning
Lighthouse was lit
Shining bright
A beacon home
Path through the night
Power has the Seward storms
Wind rain and waves raging war
Battling fiercely this vessel I'm on
Tossing around dragging it down
Into the locker no match for the sea
Even though we fought so valiantly
The souls aboard now all lost
But every man has earned his rest
Some fights cannot be won
Pick your battles well
