the other day i told my BF that the SpongeBob Season 1 episode "Squeaky Boots" is loosely inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's "Tell Tale Heart."

and man, getting to say that and be 100% correct is so fun, his reaction was golden.

he immediately pulled up the nearest streaming service and re-watched the episode.

:3 it was fun, and honestly, recognizing literary references in odd places is so entertaining.

well... im playing roadkill and im playing poe’s route but now i’ve finished all the episodes so i’m going to start howie’s and i also finished playing two against the world and im missing nicky valentine already 😔💔 i started the arcana a while ago but i couldn’t seem to get into it but i’ll try to replay it and see if i’m feeling it.

R2-D2: what is your favourite thing about your best friend?I have 3 BFFs and I think my most favourite thing about them is their sense of humor. They are hilarious and fantastic and I love them.
