What common/uncommon fear do they have?

Pocha is afraid of Gishars.

Do they have any pet peeves?

He HATES it when people lie to him. He doesn't care how bad the truth is, he much prefers that over being lied to.

What are 3 items you can find in their bedroom?

Various bones, hammock, snakes.

What do they notice first in a person?

Whether or not they're a gishar.

On a scale from 1-10 how high is their pain tolerance?

About an 8. He's experienced a LOT of pain so it takes a lot these days to really affect him.

Do they go into fight or flight mode when under pressure?

Definitely fight.

Do they come from a big family/are they a family person?

He comes from a very large family, though it's kind of complicated. The only family he has now is Veila and the two of them are very close. Partly because they're twins, partly because they're the only company they both have for the most part.

What animal represents them best?

A snake lol. His Laeka has corrupted his physical appearance to be more snake-like, probably because he's always loved them so much.

What is a smell they dislike?

Smoke.

Have they broken any bones?

Yes. He has no self preservation lol. He broke his leg once by falling out of a tree, both wrists on separate occasions, and two of his fingers by punching someone in the face too hard. He also broke one of his teeth by trying to angrily bite the shell of a bone-thief crab.

How would a stranger likely describe them?

Creepy. That's what most people call him.

Are they a night owl, or morning bird?

Night owl. He likes the cover of darkness, he can hunt a lot better.

What’s a flavor they hate and a flavor they love?

He hates the flavour of coffee. But he LOVES fish.

Do they have any hobbies?

He enjoys climbing trees, bug-watching, hunting, swimming, and adventuring.

Boom, surprise birthday party! How do they react to surprise?

Well, the only person that would be there is Veila so it wouldn't be much of a surprise lol. In general though, he likes surprises. Because of his power he knows too much about the past, so he likes being able to fantasise about the future.

Do they like to wear jewellery?

Yes. He has necklaces made of teeth, wooden beads in his hair, a woven bracelet that Veila made for him, and ear gauges. But his favourite is his emerald anklet, which is his most prized possession.

Do they have neat or messy handwriting?

Pocha can't read or write.

What are the two emotions they feel the most?

Longing and joy.

Do they have a favourite fabric?

He actually hates most fabrics and can't stand the feeling of them on his skin, so he usually only has on the bare minimum.

What kind of accent do they have?

Pocha has an unusual accent as it has a Bahavian base but some of his words dip into other accents.

Yuri recommendations?

good question

for yuri anime id recommend magirevo (ill send full name later) its basically just magic yuri to shorten it, and adachi to shimamura which was cute even if i thought it dragged on near the end. and maybe bloom into you, i don't like it but it seems everyone else seems to like it so maybe you might if you do like it read the manga so you can get ending since the anime covers half of the manga.

for yuri manga id recommend whispering you a love song if you want just cute yuri stuff (currently publishing and getting a anime next year), the summer you were there if youd like something thats less just fluff (its publishing rn and id recommend waiting till its over so you can read it all at once, its near the end), and finally for stuff that ive fully read is my wish is to fall in love until you die which is kinda fluffy and kinda not (its also currently publishing but i think its still worth reading). oh and im required to mention pocha climb, it's only 11 chapters and is literally just fluff lmao

Bouldering Yuri Manga ‘Pocha Climb’ Begins Serialization

Yuri manga Pocha Climb (PochaCrime) debuted in the October edition of Comic Yuri Hime in Japanese, which was released on August 20. The manga is written by Mintaro. 

The story follows Tsugumi, a highschool girl who loves to eat, who joins the bouldering club as a form of exercise after hiding in the gym to eat donuts, where she sees Aria climbing.

Pocha Climb is written and illustrated by Mintaro, who is known for the series DNA Doesn’t Tell Us and the Lily Fairy Tale series. Lily Fairy Tale is translated into English by Lilyka. You can read my review of Lily Fairy Tale -Little Mermaid met Hansel and Gretel- here.

Man Pocha Climb really just ended like that. Been four months and I still can’t believe it. Damn rushed endings due to cancellations.

Just read Pocha Climb... even though it got axed, if I read it as if it was intended to be 11 chapters from the start, its still great. The girls are actually clearly into each other, really love the side couple.

The way Shuu gives Nanokoto a kiss when nobody is looking at the competition is great. Love that their introduction was Tsugumi and Aira walking in on Nanokoto pinning Shuu to the mat. I thought there was going to be a "this isn't what it looks like!" moment but they just acted like nothing happened, even though it was obviously Nanokoto trying to get chalk from Shuu. Their casual intimacy and adoration of each other is so nice to see. And they aren't even the main couple!

Speaking of, Tsugumi and Aira have excellent chemistry. The reveal at the beginning of the penultimate chapter that ten years from now they're on their honeymoon is surprising, but great nonetheless. The climbing part of Pocha Climb is also tied into their relationship excellently, though you've just gotta read it to fully understand.

I will say that this is definitely an excellent hobby yuri manga, with incredibly solid focuses on both parts.

Only complaint is the occasional jokes that Tsugumi needs to lose weight, but even then Aira prefers her chubby (though the manga's idea of chubby is just average weight, as with most pieces of media).

Overall, I'd say 8.5/10. Sad it got axed, because it had really solid writing that easily could've carried it for many more volumes.

Sorry for the late ask, I've actually been writing all day and I genuinely thought it was still Friday until I checked my inbox!!

If you could have one of your own characters meet another fictional character of a writer of your choice (this can include mutuals!), who would you choose and how do you imagine their interaction would go?

It feels kind of like cheating to say @writernopal 's Axtapor and Pocha, but I have to say it!

Pocha would just be so excited to see someone else with scaly skin and would drag Axtapor out into the jungle to show him all his shedded skins that he's hung up in the trees lol. He'd show him all the best fishing spots and the trees to climb to get the most beautiful views of De'aba.

He'd probably also get on very well with Ladro, as he'd understand their relationship with their ship and the sea in general. Ladro also doesn't ask questions so they would just fully accept Axtapor as he is, and would love his expertise on their ship.

Honestly Axtapor would fit in very well in Sonhara. He'd probably get a lot of people assuming that he was a corrupted shraki though lol as he looks more like one of them than anything else in Sonhara.

➡️You are my destiny (manhwa): Conocida también "Tu eres mi destino". Empieza con Yuan Bao una amante del taekwondo, un día normal decide pelear contra Zhao Qing alguien que resulta ser más talentosa en las artes marciales.

▶️Cuando supe que el autor se apresuraría con el final me dolió XD fue tan repentino, finalizo con 60 capítulos

➡️Soulmate (manhwa): Conocida igualmente como "Almas gemelas" Yu Qi se despierta de 17 años luego de intercambiar con su yo de 27 años, estos dos mundos van cambiando excepto el amor de su otra mitad que siempre se encontraran.

▶️Esta historia la verdad me cautivo (SPOILER) por que al final por lo que podemos ver es que Yu Qi se reencontrará con Yuan Zi a pesar de todo el tiempo y espacio estarán juntas ya que son "Almas Gemelas".

➡️Koushin Koinu ni Koibumi wo (manga): Esta historia comienza con indou, una niña que se inscribió en la academia femenina para comer gratis.

▶️Un manga de militares femeninas lo recomiendo en lo personal.

➡️Still Sick (manga): Shimizu Makoto una buena y genial líder desarrollo una empresa industrial pero en un día una colega de trabajo se la encuentra casualmente enterándose del secreto de Shimizu, que dibuja y vende doujinshis yuri.

▶️Una vida de una yurista que vende doujinshis o si XD aaah necesito esa vida para comprar mangas :"v.

➡️Pocha Climb!(manga): Tsugumi una chica que le encanta donas se encuentra con su amiga de la infancia Aira-chan a lo cual Aira quiere estar con ella en ese deporte de escaladas.

▶️El manga termina con 11 capítulos ;--; y con una inocente pareja.

➡️Umineko sou days(manga): Mayumi quien por terminar un abrupto romance decide empezar de 0 una vida libre de fantasmas de su pasado.

▶️Uno de los primeros mangas que me leo y me gusto de la mangaka Kodama Naoko ya que no soy fan de Netsuzou trap XD.

➡️Handsome girl and sheltered girl(manga): Kanda que es una chica debe afrontar su mal entendido por hacerle una broma a Ookuma de una confesión falsa si se le podría decir así.

▶️Uno de mis favoritos que me la leí más de 5 veces uwu, la recomiendo ya que en mi opinión te da una enseñanza de el amor no tiene genero. Esperemos que Majokoid saque un nuevo proyecto uwu.

➡️Ikemen sugidesu shiki-senpai(manga): Hinami se enamora de Shiki sempai una sempai súper cool a lo cual hace todo para estar a su lado tanto así que se vuelve la mánager del equipo de baloncesto.

▶️Un manga que espere su capítulo sin hacerme spoiler de su versión ingles y pum finaliza :").
