Starting to be concerned that fried catfish and grits is my new fixation/safe meal. Extra points for mac n cheese.
#theres a specific mom n pop shop at a local food hall that is divine. an absolute god send. their beignets make you weep.#this is the third take away in a month#bf got the catfish and shrimp poboy which was also v good#its just so healing. whenever im at my lowest i stg i feel better afterwards.

Boudin Balls App (shared), Pork Poboy w/Caesar Salad. The High Hat Caf茅. New Orleans, Louisiana. 12.29.2023.
NOTE TO SELF: I was not in the mood for anything on this menu, so I went with the server's favorite entree -- some kind of modified version of their slow-roasted pork poboy. Everything was top-notch. Not an exciting meal, but a really good option, if in the area.
Currently ranked 3rd of 27 December meals.

Das Po' Boy Sandwich ist eine echte Ikone der S眉dstaatenk眉che und stammt aus New Orleans. Seit langer Zeit stand es schon auf meiner To-do-Liste und nun habe ich es endlich mal geschafft, es zu machen. Mit einer selbst gemachten Remoulade mit dem typischen Cajun Geschmack auf leckeren frittierten Garnelen ist es eis mehr ein Happy Boy Sandwich als ein Poor Boy Sandwich.
