I know the weather is about to chill out again soon, but last night reminded me I need to get back on my game when it comes to dinner to go 🍽 I used two single use bowls left behind by someone at our house, but did pretty good otherwise. I want to collect some stainless steel bowls and plates eventually that would be easy for on the go and cleaning up. I made most of the dinner at home (waste from @beyondmeat meat burger - so good!), but grabbed a couple avocados on our way to the lake. A covered knife makes that so much easier. I love being able to get out of the house for dinner. Oh my heckin heart you guys. She was the sweetest at our visit to Santa!! Took a road trip down to @clackamastowncenter to experience #santastoyfactory last weekend. So.much.fun. Got to hang out with @jewell5022 and the @blogginmamas. Play with the newest @mattel toys. And, Santa, omg. Abby got super nervous when it was her turn, which was a surprise? Turned out, last minute she realized she'd forgotten to write down her list. She COULD NOT see him without it. It needed to be just right, she's a perfectionist, stresses details like this. An "elf" working at the toy factory got her pen and paper, and a list was made, and tears were dried. She asked Santa for a horse and to build a stable, for a unicorn-Pegasus too, and for mommy to get all better even tho her illnesses don't have cures or fixes, and for a happy family.
