im a huge advocator for scar as pluto but just for the love of god dont make him mercury

controversial take but don’t make Scar Mercury From what I’ve seen today most people enjoy the idea with Mercury as Scar but their reasoning is very bad in my opinion with “it’s the closest plant to the sun” as a desert duo/3rd Life reference but the symbolism of each person’s Symbol is very relating to their season however Scar being Mercury has more to do with Grian then himself and he and Grian didn’t interact much of or ever at all this season

Grian is the Sun he lived in the desert he was the creator of the games the center of third life

Scott the stars he defied the darkness of the watchers shining in his own way sparkling for his fallen ally

Pearl was the Moon all alone with nothing but her dogs howling at the moon also her names pearlescentmoon

Martyn is Mars the god of war when it came down to it he killed his ally for the spirit of war of blood and chaos

Scar should be Earth or Pluto

Pluto because he was all alone until someone saw him and befriended him before eventually abandoning him like how we started calling Pluto a dwarf planet after barely a hundred years

Earth because of his flower aesthetic and how he Killed the moon that which was close to him he didint die he held on

Anyway that’s my reasoning for why scar is not Mercury thanks for coming to my Ted Talk

Scar, the loneliest planet, some dont even consider it a planet, all alone, no friends. The furthest from the sun, cause idc what people say, his win had NOTHING to do with Grian, he won while being distanced from him. It's got 5 moons. In SL Scar killed 6 people, the last one being Pearl, but Pearl isnt just a moon to him, she's the person who lend him a hand and offered him a family, allies, even at the end, she wanted her mounders to win, and even if for just a day, Scar was a mounder aswell, Pearl who experienced that loneliness aswell in her own winning season, she's not just a moon more to him. Scar is Pluto.

Cleo, planet of love, loving and caring towards her allies, somewhat motherly. Orange planet. Can be seen somewhat easily in the sky along with mars, the moon and stars, close to them. Goddess of love in Roman Mythology (known as Aphrodite to the greeks), Aphrodite/Venus: lover of Ares/Mars, Cleo/Venus: soulbound to Martyn/Mars. She's also called quite a few of her teammates their husband in the past (Bdubs in 3rd life, Etho in limited life). Cleo is Venus.

I'm here to defend these ideals which ive added to my daily dose of life series enjoyment, however the arguements arent originally mine.

listen I’ll have a horse in the “do we continue the winners titles” thing when cleo wins until then I’ll let people who are bigger scar guys than me debate this one. however my brain did just go “Venus planet of love was destroyed by global warming” because I was obsessed with that song for a long while so. make of that whatever?

scar was planned to be the last one that they kill. the sun tried to attack scar, but because of their distance from eachother, grian fumbled before deciding not to attack scar. he couldnt attack scar.

the last in the solar system.

the last to live.

Alright, if we're still doing the winners' poem, let's talk through some Scar ideas I've seen floating around (and some of my own). But first, see this post breaking down the poem as a whole and explaining why Martyn is definitely mars, if you want.

The Earth:

Probably the most popular. And it makes sense. Scar, full of life, so full of tragedy. Forever growing, like the sunflowers of sunflower valley, and the flowers on his cape. The earth, revolving around the sun and having its tides pulled by the moon. Both of whom he fought to the death, one of whom he won.

A Solar Eclipse:

Ah, more sun and moon. The moon blocking out the sun. Something could be said for parallels of the fight. Of a denied sacrifice followed by a fight already over before it had even begun. A fight that was always going to end the way it did.

Or, perhaps, if we take it another direction. The secret keepers blacking out all his light. He won as a forced villain.

And of course, an eclipse just generally being a bad omen, which also fits into his villainy. It also slightly ties into the sunflowers of sunflower valley. Just a bit. A sliver.

A Black Hole:

Similarly to the eclipse, the black hole is also devoid of light. Even more dramatically so. But still, he has a gravity that managed to pull people in during their last moments.

Mercury:

If I use the same thought process as I did for Martyn's "mars", I must mention the roman god. Mercury was the Roman equivalent of Hermes. He was also the god of thievery, wealth, trading and language. And what is Scar known for, if not for his silver tounge and swindling? Mercury is also the god of luck. And although Scar hasn't really had all that good luck this season, it still drives me to think about the first episode. The hard task, that wasn't all that hard. And the warden, and wither. How he just couldn't seem to die. Luck, maybe.

Mercury is a small planet, often overlooked. I don't think many people expected Scar to be a threat this season, not when he initially struggled to keep both secrets and hearts.

It also has no moons. Scar has no allies. And yes, of course, it's the closest planet to the sun.

The Void:

This is the first season where the end has been unlocked. A cold, lonely place. Makes me think of the word "devoid", and how many things haven't Scar had taken away from him? Potential allies, a home burnt and blown to smithereens.

Pluto:

Barely even a planet. People wouldn't think he'd even be included in the line of notable celestial bodies for this poem. But then again, most people didn't think they'd see Scar win either. And definitely not in the season where taking any damage had lasting consequences. Similar to the point I made about mercury, but when more pointed tbh.

Pluto is the furthest away from the other planets. Pluto is lonely, terribly so. Pluto, who has been told time and time again what he is and what he isn't (planet status, villain tasks), which has alienated him from the other planet (still, it has that little heart looking shape on it. Like a scar. Like a wish to be loved).

Now, of course, the Roman god. Pluto is the god of wealth. Fitting for a man whose whole thing this season was trading (and who, in every other season, also had a thing for material goods and negotiating). Pluto is also the god of the dead. Scar is the only winner to have been killed (by another player, in the cactus ring) and the only winner to have survived.

I already saw someone mentioning him being the comet but in my own opinion it doesn't feel right to me.

I feel like those are a big part of the rollercoaster, carousel knife sliced heart feelings

that repeated again and again yet there’s always this underlying feeling of unconditional love there

Yet for whatever reason we can’t be, I guess

it hurts so much, it’s so confusing, 😭

his Venus in my 12th house and mostly his pluto is aspecting my planets

And he’d be the one leaving and coming back

but I think it’s finally actually over now

he gave me his laptop and a guitar, microphone, things to work on music with..

but today he tells me that this girl in Germany added him back on Snapchat

This girl who had the same rare book as him

that he’s just gonna be alone for now to focus on getting his life together

it hurts so much .

We also have 1st and 5th house synastry and he said his time with me over this past year has been the most fun of his life,

There’s a lot going on right now, so I can understand..

but I also don’t understand how we can be so similar and yet I guess we’re just not each others 7th house.. idk :(

Scar is The Earth.

He’s warmed by the Sun, but every time he gets close he gets burned (whether it be in a cactus ring or the cookies made by his soulmate but left for someone else).

In the night sky, the only things left are the Moon and the Stars. But only one of those protects the Earth from the incoming comets and gives it enough light in the darkness to see your way. (The only one to fight with him and stay by him to the bitter end)

At the end, when all the other winners have died in their own seasons, scar stayed alive. One lone winner still somehow left alive after the bloodshed has ended, forced to live and do his next task despite everything.

And what’s more fittingly lonely for him than Earth, the only thing left alive in a dead, cold universe but also the only one stubborn enough to keep living.

THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THE PLUTO SCAR IN 2024 I NEEDED THIS I HAVE CLUNG TO PLUTO SCAR SO HARD AND THEN NEVER LET GO I LOVE HIM SO MUCH HES SO PLUTO TO ME

Guys here's my idea about the life series planet theory.

- Giran or Grainye (is that right for the name?) is a name / word translating to Sun. Also, Grian made the games. Grian was the force that birthed the life and soul into the games. Grian is the Sun, for he gave life to the series and it's worlds.

- Scott, Now hear me out, Scott's Unicorn. Unicorn is one of if not the closest black hole to our Sun and it's Solar System. Now Scott could also be a Unicorn due to Scottish myths or whatever. But Scott's Unicorn / A Black Hole since he stole the food from the watchers and refuses to give into their food & their wants. Scott's defiant to the Watchers, and will consume all of their potential energy by alliance and community. Which would be seen as defiance and consumption by the watchers.

- Pearl, Pearls the moon, the moon represents Feminity, Silence, Tranquility, and water. Pearl is the yin to Grian's yang, she's chaotic and emotional (in a good way ofc!!) and she embodies the personification of a satellite. She hovers over and “protects” or even “Watches over” the other players she cares about.

- Martyn, Martyn is Mars, since he wasn't defiant, but he was aggressive. He fought and fought and fought against anything his red heart could find. He fought by the skin of his teeth, he kept gaining information that was against the watchers, he unfortunately succumed to the pressure and power of the Sun / Watchers.

(Granted Martyn could also contest for Jupiter as he has the pressure and power of a Star, but his anger or “red spot” took over him.)

- Scar, Scar's Pluto. Scar's Pluto since he was isolated from all of the other players during his time and for most of his time in he life series so far. He had to be recognized by the watchers before he could ever get himself an actual team. And that team were two Canaries (or dwarf planets, sorry) that never won. Two canaries that are far separated from the other victors of this death match. Scar used his trickery and Wealth to fight to the death, and even then. Scar won? Scar won against a former Victor, a player similar to him, a player that was powerful, and cool kept, until they were split apart. Then they fought, and fought, and used their raw power to win. Scar fought against someone who was almost there, but wasn't enough for the watchers. Scar won against the only other “non-luminous” or “dark” celestial object that was deemed to small to be considered significant. Scar fought against someone he trusted, and won, by his own hands. But the Watchers didn't care, the watchers threw him out, and were to focused on the Sun to care as Pluto, a once fast, and bright planet, was thrown out of orbit, and barely hung on, it's decent started at its discovery. Just like it's planet, scar was deemed, not enough for the watchers and was casted aside.

(this isn't ANY hate to ANYONE, especially with scars section, I just started writing and didn't look back, sorry if it sounds rude! 😭 Also I meant that Scar fought against someone who was also “not enough” or too insignificant for the watchers, and won, but his victory was over Shadowed by the people saying OMG ITS DESERT DUO !!!!!... GIRL PLEASE SHUT UP ABT DESERT DUO 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.)
