audgajzgskdhsjsg i just had the random thought about Perkeo gradually seeing less and less stars due to light pollution over time and now im kinda sad :(

Oh yeah they absolutely fucking hate that

They are not very fond of artificial lights to begin with but the fact it took the sky from them is something they'll complain about until the end of time

It helps they picked a remote place to live, but not a lot

I can imagine them sitting with Moon on the roof late at night and pointing out whatever parts of constellations they can see (ex: orion's belt) and going on and on about them, specially how different they look. They'd say they would take him to see them properly one day, somewhere not so bright. He just nods because they say they'll take him many places so that's one more. The sky he sees is already pretty, he can't imagine it could be better than this.

I do think they take some comfort on having the moon, though. And the sun. The astronomical ones. That's the one (well, two) thing that never changed and never will change. Well if you ignore how the sun feels brighter and hotter because the ozone layer went to shit. But anyway

They very much appreciate the fact they can lay down and look up at the sky at all, full or not

#you absolutely would have a full sky milkway and all if they could have it their way though #people dont even know what theyre missing #everyone should go to an observatory immediately. would it be weird to take two animatronics to an observatory. are they allowed to do that #they do miss the stars. a lot. but the morning sky is still as beautiful as ever and rainy days never lose their glory. so little wins #plus i guessss its good that you can now walk on a street at night.#because of said artificial light. but you can also fix that by putting knights with swords there again. yk smths worked. just punch ppl #sun does not understand what they're so annoyed about. at all. light is awesome and they should keep it on more at home. its always dark af #immortal au #sunshine talks #cherished-creature

I can't do much productively during the heat wave/health issue flare up/etc. like work on my games or anything where I have to sit at the computer/type for long periods of time, BUT.. I did passively sculpt a few tiny foods lol. I wanted to do one of my bigger usual sculptures, but those take so much more time and concentration, I thought something small just to keep my hands busy would be better.. close up photos look kind of weird and blurry from my camera settings or something, but overall they came out okay, especially in person.. Nearly the only reason I ever wanted to buy dolls as a kid was to get my hands on the miniature foods and plates and stuff that came with them, I've always just been obsessed with small versions of things like that, so.. why not make some! lol

#sculpture #ooops.. i could have posted this on the art blog but I forgor and do not feel like reuploading everything #into a new drafted post on a whole other blog.. not in this heat.. i have no patience lol #items are: tomato. asparagus. a four leaf clover (not food lol). some sort of folded bun or dumpling with meat inside (not based on #anything specific. I just wanted to fold a flat sheet of clay into a shape). pomegranate. cheese wheel. lemon slice. some sort of mushroom.#fish (not a real one. just made up. if it looks like any specific fish that'd be interesting). and fig.#I haven't been able to get many avocaodo pits to carve again. so sculpting. then is good for a tiny craft #WISH I COULD DO COSTUMES OR SOMETHING.. i have some pikced out. bundles of clothes laying on the floor of the closet #but GODS even before the heat wave it's just been so warm.. I know.. it's the summer. of course it's warm #but WHYYYyy............. what if it just snowed all year around and was awesome and beautiful and i was so cold and could wear 25 blankets #at all times.. what about THAT hmm?? .. the ideal..#anyway.. my favorite is the pomegranate and the mushroom maybe #The fig is hard because in the pictures of figs I googled a lot of them have that sort of white powdery type of thing on the outside #that grapes and plums and stuff have sometimes and it's hard to convey that weird like.. sheen.. plus the purple with almost powdery blue #and little lighter specks plus streaks of light green and a little orangey on some of them.#It's okay in person I think but this doesnt show up as much in pictures. The cheese also looks betterin person than images. you can't tell #the slight shine in the pictures lol. but the pomegranates look cool and also photograph decent.. hmm #I should have made toast with an egg on it or something. that would be a nice addition #OH ALSO ASPARAGUS MY BELOVED.. though they look a little wonky. the cuticle pusher tool that I sculpt with in leiu of any actual sculpting #tools has a kind of triangle edge that was suite for the little leaf details of the asparagus so that was cool. its like..ALMOST right lol

Mark my words, the next country/area we're getting in Infinity Nikki is Cicia.

#theres just too many quests and npcs connected to cicia for it not to be foreshadowing #plus umbreto the other oft mentioned country we've seen is currently in a war with refugees dispersing to wishfield (and maybe other places)#while the nikki series doesnt shy away from war i doubt we'll go there during active fighting without a good reason #and right now theres way more reasons to go to cicia than umbreto #but then again im not really finished with the main quest here in wishfield as i am against the wall that is sovereign battles #well more like all the factions under them #why are the piecey and faewish sprites so hard- my resources to glow up are dwindling fast #as much as i hate gacha mechanics these ones do seem pretty generous when you do pull #i like some of the lower tier pieces better than some of the higher tier ones too so im not too disappointed when i dont pull a 4 or 5 star #as a free to play person im finding i can usually full pull one of the two limited banners and get some of the pieces from the 2nd banner #but yeah incredibly fun game and despite there being a ton of beautiful textures and lighting my computer is taking it well #of course im playing on desktop im sure my phone would explode and my laptop run hotter than the sun #infinity nikki

i am a grown ass man i will not cry over gojo satoru losing everything and then finding it again as a mentor to youth around the age he was when he began to suffer and question his perspectives on life, strength, and morality so that those people have someone to depend on when they need support and connection. it means nothing to me that he closed his eyes in the last few moments of the latest episode and when he opened him again megumi, nobara, and itadori were waiting for him. i will not cry.i WONT DO IT.

Man. All I do these days is fail to meet expectations and then get upset at myself for failing to meet those expectations. This sucks.

#the dragon sings his songs #blowing out smoke #i'm supposed to be taking this break from my course as an opportunity to do the things I've been meaning to do and I've just been rotting—#—in bed on my phone and sleeping in and jacking off like i hardly even get up to eat or go to the bathroom #side note i know this is a textbook sign of depression and burnout (comma) most likely both (comma) but who in my Chinese family is going—#—to believe that? def not mom who'll just scream at me for not sucking it up and pushing through it and not dad who won't do shit #my grandparents might believe me but there's a language barrier on mom's side plus 公公 seems to think I'm the perfect infallible capable—#—[granddaughter] and I can't bear to break his heart with the truth #and then on dad's side they'll probably be sympathetic but everything i tell them makes its way back to my parents and that'll just result—#—in ont huge blowup that'll drive another wedge between mom and dad. and I mean PLEASE hurry up and get divorced but I also don't want 爺爺—#—and 嫲嫲 to get caught in the crossfire #plus I'm supposed to be helping them esp now that 爺爺 is running out of time as an active able-bodied person but instead of doing that I—#—spent all day in bed. which is not helping my guilt and shame on top of everything else i have to deal with (comma) let alone his workload #today's such a nice sunny beautiful day too which makes me feel even worse for not even going for a walk or anything #it's still light out so i could but sunk cost fallacy is kicking my ass plus i have Mandarin class kn a couple hours #and k know it's a couple HOURS but I'd have to get dressed and set a timer and everything and just the thought is so overwhelming that I—#—just can't. i'd ask to be institutionalized if it wasn't for the rampant ableism in the mental health field plus the fact that—#—institutionalization is just an extension of incarceration #if only the people who have power over me would just listen and actually take care of me so i wouldn't have pushed myself to this point
