she considered herself  elite  when it came to the sword,   but sparring with zoro made her wonder if maybe she should prioritize it more.     she’s not used to having to  work  for her victories,     let alone having to work this  hard.     she’d loathe to admit that she’s just  barely  keeping up.     his  speed  ...  his  strength  ...  he  improved  every  time  they  practiced.     and  if  indra  doesn’t  do  the  same,   she’ll  get  left  in  second  place.

the thought is enough to awaken a certain  rage  inside of her,     and just to put a bit of distance between them,   indra places a  foot  squarely in the center of his chest,    leg rippling with the power of her ability and resembling white hot lightning crackling off of her thigh before she propels her leg forward and sends him off flying with a kick that could push a ship off a dock.     it gives her enough time to gain her bearings again,     though she’s  still  unhappy.
