I've spent a few hours playing "A Date With Death" and I've been reminded of how much I miss playing otome games. I used to play them all the time back in highschool. Games like "Cinderella Phenomenon", "Mystic Messenger" and "Nusantara: Legend of the Winged Ones". Playing them now makes me remember how much I wanted to make my own.

And hey, if I ever find the time and learn to code using Ren'Py I still might do it. Maybe I'll pull a Stardew Valley and make all the music myself too.

"MY TYPE IS..." with TWISTED WONDERLAND

synopsis: you respond to a "what's your type?" question with his name. how does he react?

grim, as always, was nagging you with questions in front of your crush and group of friends. they're all left to their own devices until grim asks, "what's your type?" and the attention of your crush falls on you for your answer.

riddle rosehearts, dorm leader of heartslabyul.

"my ideal type? well, he's red-haired, with grey eyes, whose short and just happens to be the dorm leader of heartslabyul!"

the "ideal crush" in question was as red as his hair. he almost spits his tea out.

you practically confessed to riddle! or at least told him he's the type you're looking for.

riddle looks at you like you've gone mad, not even realizing he's been actively staring at you.

"[name], are you serious?" he questions, calming himself down. you look at him confused.

"why wouldn't i be serious? was my clear description of you, riddle rosehearts, my crush, not enough?"

he still looks at you confused. riddle fully understands, it's just.. you're being so straightforward about it! he can't handle how blunt you're being with your advances.

you sigh, "since you still aren't understanding, i like you riddle. is that clear enough?"

"no, i am not as red as my hair! ugh, yes, [name]. i understood just well. it just took me a while to get used to how blunt you were. but, i guess i could say you're my ideal type too. and i guess i like you too."

trey clover, vice dorm leader of heartslabyul.

"my type's obviously a green-haired, amber-eyes, glasses-wearing, hot baker with a clover on his cheek."

doth trey's ears deceive him? you obviously just described him. he has green hair, yellow eyes, glasses, and a clover on his cheek. plus, he's a baker!

trey doesn't even realize he's stared at you, the tart he made long forgotten on his plate.

you stare at him like you didn't just say he was your type. "um, [name]?" "yeah?"

trey looks at you, takes a deep breath and asks, "do you like me?"

"of course i do, silly! i wouldn't have described you as my type if i didn't."

trey takes a deep breath once again. thank the great seven.

"oh thank goodness. i liked you too but i didn't really know how to approach it. i was gonna make you a (favorite dessert) with "will you be mine?" on it, but i guess i don't have to anymore. oh? i should still do it? well, i guess you'll just have to come over to heartslabyul tonight for a surprise, dear."

cater diamond, heartslabyul third year.

"do you even have eyes? my type is this really cute guy with orange hair, green eyes, a red diamond on his face, a heartslabyul third year and magicam influencer! aka, the hottest guy in the world!"

he squeals. cater lets out a loud, high-pitched, squeal that would be associated with preppy high school girls in movies. people would have noticed if it wasn't for the already loud cafeteria.

he moves to the seat next to you, holding you by your waist.

"[name], do you really like me?" the smile on his face blinds you, but you can see he has a hint of worry in his green eyes. imagine how disappointed he'd be if you were to like some other heartslabyul guy that looked exactly like him.

you lean in, hooking a arm around his neck and using your hand to push his head into your lips. your lips kiss him and you can taste his lime tart and cherry chapstick.

"is.. is that enough to prove to you that i love you?" you pant after the kiss, looking at cater's reddened face.

"haha! that was more than enough, but how about you prove to me how much you love me a bit more, cutie?"

(you guys make out and have to be forcefully separated becuase the friend group does NOT approve of the pda.)

"okay, so he's a fucking pain in the ass and a stupid idiot but i love him, y'know? his orange-red hair and the stupid heart on his face and that silly grin his makes when he does something dumb like breaking riddles rules or messes up a potion or something.. he may be a fucking dumbass but he's a dumbass i have a crush on."

first of all, ouch.

he's not a pain in the ass or a stupid idiot! and his heart isn't stupid and his grin isn't silly- wait, did you say you have a crush on him?

ace is flattered, but that would never ever stop him from being a little shit about it.

i mean, you called him a stupid idiot you love, right? so that means that he can be a dumbass and you'll still forgive him, right? of course you will, he thinks.

"[nickname]~ you have a crush on me? aww, you're too cute! of course you'd like me, i'm hot, i have a cute grin,-- what! i'm not an idiot!"

"what a silly question! anyways, my type is tall, blue-haired, and a real cutie! he has this cute little spade on his face but hes kinda dumb. i love it about him though! the pout on his face he gets when he's confused is adorable!"

queue cute, confused deuce.

"aw look, he's doing the little confusion pout right now! ah, i have the biggest crush on him!" you gush, and the color drains from his face before it comes back as a vibrant red blush.

he bangs his head on the table, making a cute whimpering noise.

when he finally looks up, still blushing, he's met with your smile and almost topples over. you're gonna give him a heart attack!

"don't embarrass me like that! ugh, but since we're on the matter, y-yeah i like you, too."

Thinking about the future kid au and Jamil!Yutu (help his tsum is so cute, i love the tsum events)

Like...you said Jamil! Yutu wishes he wasn't born so his dad wouldn't have been executed because some Asim relatives guilted him (desoite them being the ACTUAL reason he died)

Needless to say his relationship with his dad is complicated , but I can't stop thinking about Yutu being of two minds about his parents like "I'm gonna get in the way of your plans for the evening because I don't want either of you to get close and eventually die because of me" but also somehow everything he attempts doesn't work

Because Jamil isn't one to give up easily (none of the boys are) and he just- feels so much freer and happier than he ever has when he gets to trade snarky comments, silly puns and honest praise with Yuu. And he won't let this mysterious guy get ik the way of that, he pretends to enjoy his remaining years at NRC to the best of his ability thank you very much. Plus he's working on gaining his freedom and Yuu is his number one cheerleader at this don't tell Kalim tho he'll be sure to cranck up his enthusiasm if you do ofc he won't stop talking to them nor dreaming of what could be, it's all he has to avoid going mad

Yutu however is losing his mind because every time there's danger he gets reminded of his dad's corpse being dragged around and he keeps worrying this time his dad will die trying to protect Yuu from harm

Little does he know Jamil would rather give his life protecting Yuu than any Asim because that's his CHOICE and that's the person who chose HIM over everyone else. Cue Yutu recovering from the battle, looking around frantically for signs of either of his parents and seeing Yuu patching Jamil up, bantering lightly and sharing such soft looks. They look so happy despite their bruises and suddenly Yutu gets this nauseating feeling of dread because he can see why they fell in love, which means maybe he's too late to stop it now

And then Grim complains that he's hungry after the fight and they both share this look and Yutu gets the little sadness of "oh, this is what it would've been like"

Just- aaaaaaahhhhhhh this au is so good and so angsty but also I wanna add just a little bit of fluff for these poor boys (my original thought was of Yutu seeing his parents meeting in the town and following them to try to sabotage their not-date only to end up making each scenario more romantic until he gives up when they start dancing in the middle of nowhere and he recognizes the dance from when Yuu taught him many years ago)

Happy Birthday Jamil (so sorry this is late), the tsum part of this post really shows you how old it is I am so sorry. Jamil is a real cutie though, his birthday message this year is him thanking Yuu for being someone he can trust to give him something without having ulterior motives. Post OB! Jamil should have a special sort of respect for Yuu I think. He understands what it is like to have to care for someone who makes a lot of problems against your will, but maybe not that you could love that person in the way Yuu loves Grim. Lots to think about with JamilYuu, lots to think about... so this one gets to have two parts as well whoops.

The early morning is a sacred time for your little family.  When Yutu was little you would sneak into his room to make sure he was still asleep.  He never was, he'd developed some sort of sixth sense for when his favorite person was home and would wait patiently snuggled into the red scarf he used as a security blanket to surprise you.

“Boo!”  The scarf would go up in the air and you would let out an exaggerated gasp of surprise as your son giggled in manic delight.  “I got you!”

“You got me!”  He'd been little enough to lift up into the air then, you miss those days even though they were difficult.  

Your son still “spooks” you when you come home in the morning.  His former blanket has become a part of his wardrobe, and he's much too big for you to lift up over your head anymore but he's not pretending to be asleep anymore either.  

“Boo!”  Today Yutu has made some tomatoes and eggs, you think you smell coffee but that's not a smart thing for you to be drinking right now.  

“Thank you, little light.”  You settle down at your kitchen table and Yutu excitedly tells you about his plans for the day.  When he does this you always feel lucky, as if you didn't expect him to be such a normal and happy child.  As if there was something other than poverty and your illness that would hold him down and deny him any sense of self or success.  Yutu has never felt like there is anything he cannot do so long as he tries, he's very ambitious, your little light.  You've told him more than once you hope his spark never dims, that you are so proud of him for not letting his circumstances dictate his goals.

There's some relief in knowing you aren't here to see him hiding behind his scarf again.  It would hurt you to see how fast he shrinks away from the lich descending from his throne, putrid rotting flesh assaulting his nose even through the silk guard.  This is his fault, he can find no other logical explanation.  You would disagree, he has no idea what the corpse in front of him would say, but neither of you lived to see what he has.  He's not so full of himself that he thinks the world ended with his birth, but yours most certainly did.  

Yutu is a smart and polite child, the sort of little boy who makes old ladies swoon and insist that his parents are so lucky to have him.  That was a point of pride for him before arriving in Twisted Wonderland.  He never had too many questions about his father, he could see he wasn't the only one of his peers who was being raised by a single parent which was enough reassurance for him.  Maybe he'd meet his father one day, maybe he wouldn't.  He was much more concerned with making friends and learning everything he could.

He loves school in general, but his favorite subject is the stars.  It starts with him trying to amuse himself while waiting for you to come home from work and evolves into a hobby as he gets older.  His first proper expensive present is a refurbished telescope you spent a lot of time researching and asking questions about.  That's the first chip at his self confidence when he's alone in Twisted Wonderland; you worked so hard for that gift and he didn't bring it with him.  Sure, he didn't know what was happening but he knew something was off.  He should have grabbed it and kept it close…

Star gazing isn't his only hobby, he really likes cooking and experimenting with coffee.  He took up cooking because he was tired of waiting for you to come home and make food and expected it to be boring but there's something fulfilling about eating food you've made yourself he really likes.  The fact it makes him more attractive to his classmates is not something he thinks about at all, not one little bit.  You've never found him making extra food for a particular “friend” with a familiar determined smirk on his face.  “Your father used to do the same thing.”  You say it absentmindedly, the look of embarrassment you're met with is also quite similar.  “Not.  Another.  Word.”  

Money is tight, but Yutu still finds ways to participate in extracurricular activities.  He wants them on his college applications, sure, but he also wants friends, his own little group of people who won't care too much about his parent's reputation. Cooking club and drama class end up being his home base, you've got an unwilling front row seat to so much pointless highschool drama it gives you a headache.  He likes playing pickup basketball with his friends but joining the team isn't something he got a chance to do before getting isekaid.

The little bits and pieces you remember about his father make him out to be extremely normal. You remember his favorite food, that he liked cooking and playing basketball. You tell your son he takes after his father in how talented he is; Yutu is proud to be like his father, he assumes that he will get the full story from you someday. Maybe his dad died, maybe you never told him that he was going to be a father out of fear and never got a chance because you lost your memories in a tragic accident. Either way, Yutu is sure that one day he will find out who his father is and he'll be able to help you reconcile your relationship, whether it's by processing his death or reconnecting your friendship.

There's nothing particularly special about the day you remember.  He felt like trying something new with his hair and you had offered to turn his scarf into a turban, memories of fireworks sparking your hands into motion while Yutu tells you about what his teacher wants the school play to be this year.

“Careful!”  Yutu whines as you pull his hair through the cloth.  

“I am being very careful.” You laugh, the look on Yutu's face is familiar. Just like... “Jamil bought this for me, you know.”

“Jamil?” Yutu has never heard that name before, but he can tell it's important. He's never heard you sound so tender before.

“I think we were joking about push presents and he was offended thinking he had to wait until you were born to get me something nice.”  There was meant to be a matching piece of jewelry with Yutu's birthstone he thought you didn't know about, but then…  how could you have forgotten that?  You were going to make fun of him for how sloppy Yutu's birth was making him.  He was losing his touch, the old Jamil never would have been so obvious with a surprise.

“Is that such a bad thing?  You're giving me a gift.” Jamil is looking up at you confused, but it's not Jamil, it's your son. Your little light who- "You look so much like him." Your hand shakes, the world around you fades to black and Yutu begins to scramble.

When Yutu opens his eyes he's in a dark room in front of a mirror with a mask hovering in a sea of green flame, there is noise buzzing around him that must be conversation, but try as he might he can't reign himself back into focus. You are still, eyes glassy and unresponsive to his calls. There is a man shaking him, trying to pull him to his feet as he calls for... the word he uses is healer and that allows Yutu to settle himself. "... a healer and take Yuu to the hospital wing immediately!" The Headmage snaps and a woman with brown hair immediately bolts to obey. The person next to her reaches out, but does not follow; the boy's presence is throwing cold water over a particular part of the crowd they would be wise to keep watch over. That isn't the right word so Yutu must be dreaming, he gives the man in the fur coat his attention and obeys, stepping forward to allow the mirror to judge his soul.

"Scarabia." If Yutu was not so convinced he was dreaming he would notice the way the person who approaches him looks, the meaning behind the fur coat's insistence he stay put and wait for him in the mirror chamber. But he does not. So when that person extends their hand, welcomes him to Scarabia and asks him to follow he thinks nothing of it. This is all a bad dream, you will shake him awake and tell him more about Jamil.

Not that he really needs to wait.

The first hit is a slap, the second is a basic fire spell but he doesn't know that when it sears his skin. He doesn't even know why these students are so angry, doesn't recognize his own last name he just thinks the word Viper is being used as an insult. When smoke begins to surround him he assumes the other students have decided to stop toying with him. He's going to die. He just found out his father's name, magic is real, other worlds are real, you are dead. You are dead and there's a foul smelling smoke around him; he's never really thought about what it would be like to die but Yutu finds himself surprisingly calm. "We'll be together soon, [parent]... father are you waiting too?"

"I would hate to waste a necklace on the likes of you." An authoritative voice cuts through the smoke, Yutu recognizes this person as his attackers scatter. The strange one who tried to stop the woman who ran off after the man in the fur coat spoke. They are wearing a lot of jewelry, necklaces and bracelets with strange symbols that seem to thrum with power in a way that sends a shiver down his spine. A rueful smile crosses their lips for a brief second. "Not that it would be a waste of course." Their focus turns to the cause of the smoke, a kerchief they give one more good shake before tucking it back into a pouch with even more strange necklaces wrapped around it.

"Where am I?" Yutu sounds so small, he curses himself silently for it but how else is he supposed to feel when the mysterious stranger looks at him with so much pity?

"Exactly where you belong." They say with authority, as if they are attempting to shut out any doubts before they can form. "But, as much as it shames me to suggest it, that might not be the safest place for you right now."

Misbah is how this person introduces themselves. Their friend, who is beyond stressed to see Yutu so disheveled and insists on healing him before allowing him to see you, is named Sehrish. Explanations can wait until Yutu has had time to say his goodbyes, but the look the older students exchange when you ask them to make sure your son isn't treated like Jamil once was tells him there must be a lot of them. Of the three adults, no one agrees how to give him those explanations either. The only thing they do agree on is that it is unsafe for him to be in Scarabia right now, but there won't be a problem with Ramshackle Dorm even if it's name suggests to Yutu that there really probably should be.

Crewel takes him there, explaining along the way who he is and what he was to you; a professor turned reluctant mentor who cared very deeply about Yuu and Jamil's future. He's reluctant to think of himself as a grandfather, he's just not that old he insists and Yutu laughs just the little bit, but if Yutu has questions about Yuu and your time at the school he is more than welcome to ask. On his father he doesn't say much, simply that he is dead. Murdered actually, but the use of that word is complicated by the circumstances of it so Crewel does not suggest Yutu speak of his family to anyone other than Misbah and Sehrish. Yutu learns, later much later, that Crewel didn't wish to traumatize him further. That he wished to take his time in explaining things. A good idea, but no one that realistically was going to work.

Ramshackle Dorm is unlike the other dormitories at NRC, all the students save him are magicless exactly like his parent. They all know a lot about his parent too, much to his surprise you are something of an idol to these people. None of them mind that he can use magic, it's just neat to be able to talk about the magicless prefect with someone who also thinks they're super cool; some of them have family or family friends that went to NRC while you were here and saw how you handled the overblots, others learned of you when they came here as refugees and were offered a place in the program. "Ramshackle is for misfits and outcasts!" A particularly messy third year proudly tells him when he asks him why they don't mind. Yutu doesn't really know how to feel about that. He never manages to figure it out.

Sehrish is a graduate student and Misbah is a fourth year, which as Misbah explains to him means they spend most of their time "in the field." They wished to say everything from the start, Sehrish wanted to explain herself and her family but did not think herself qualified to say anything more. Was uncertain of how her story would make him feel, afraid of it. The Scalding Sands is their primary focus, that would have been his homeland too had Yuu not been disappeared. Currently it is under the rule of a phantom of the Sorcerer of the Sands, one of the Great Seven Yutu will learn about as his classes progress. Misbah does not hesitate to tell him that this phantom once possessed his father when he was a student, and it is believed that this time it is possessing his corpse. It's a thought that sickens Yutu, how could this have happened? And why?

The why is explained to him in parts. Sehrish starts with the history of the Al-Asims, of the city they helped to build and the relationship between her family and his. She describes his father's burning resentment of his station matter-of-factly. His father was a servant from a well liked and respected family, but that reputation came at a cost. The respect was not for him or his talents, it was for how well he served his master and it drove him mad. The desire for freedom and recognition transformed into a phantom, his parent had fought against it and seen it defeated but somehow it had returned to rule over the Scalding Sands.

Overblotting is something Yutu thinks he has begun to understand, his professors have focused on it heavily so he knows what a phantom is. He's even seen a few small ones, but a phantom large enough to rule over a kingdom resembling one of the Great Seven is... frightening. The other students are all more or less aware of their existence and Sehrish takes the rest of her time to explain where and who the other Phantoms used to be. "We don't know why this happened." But people have theories. There is a timeline he learns from other students whispering behind his back, how his parent disappeared and then suddenly Kalim Al-Asim was murdered.

The living Al-Asims aren't at NRC, there is a rival school across the Island where they chose to stay. They don't speak to Sehrish, the only people he can speak to with any level of authority are the one or two older servants who worked with his grandparents. They speak fondly of the Viper family, though of Jamil they offer little specifics. Murder is again the word used for what happened to him, quietly after looking over their shoulder. Yutu had an Aunt named Najma. She was lively, talked about Jamil's business and constantly made fun of him while being proud of his accomplishments. The Vipers were an honorable family. They didn't want trouble. Did not want to rock the boat. But his father must have otherwise he wouldn't have wanted to overblot...

Yutu wasn't quiet before Twisted Wonderland. He thought of himself as outgoing, you would be so sad to see how small his friend circle has gotten. As time passes, as he fights smaller phantoms, ventures into the Queendom on his first real mission, as he looks in the mirror and realizes he has scars now. His scarf has protective sygils embroidered by Misbah to repair the holes, he's met a merman with pointed teeth who mixed him a drink and told him a story about his father that made him sound... human in a way that scared him out of asking for more.

Yutu has seen what his father became, looked a rotting corpse into what remained of it's eyes and listened to it try to speak with a windpipe welded together by ink. The lich sorcerer of the sands is his father. Yutu has spent enough time listening to his Ramshackle dormmates explain their medical studies to see he died young; there are traces of poisons in the hairs he returns to Idia that make even him shudder. He will never get the full story, never get more from his classmates or the Al Asim representative he meets when returning Kalim's body about how this happened. Just that it was deserved, that none of this would have happened if Jamil had known his place and never obtained his freedom. That isn't something Yutu can bring himself to agree with. His father had every right to want the same say in his life that you had worked so hard to give him, and you...

If you asked Yutu when he started feeling like he did not deserve to exist, he wouldn't be able to give you a specific answer. He certainly never felt like he didn't belong in your world, the general sense of disbelonging he felt he always attributed to his ignorance of his father's identity. But that was a fixable problem, he so firmly believed he would one day get to meet his dad and other family and then all those burning cultural questions would be patched up. But Twisted Wonderland was another matter entirely, the harsh welcome made him feel unwanted even if the Ramshackle students went out of their way to try and mitigate that. But all of that acceptance, all of that love was tied to you. The living Al Asims looked at him and saw a pest, expected him to show deference and repent for his father's misdeeds, while the older servants saw a tragedy. A child so fondly spoken of and wished for but doomed to wander in a broken world none of them expected to survive. Either way, the only message Twisted Wonderland had to offer him was one of rejection. Whenever he made up his mind, by the time he made it to the past and was settled into your version of Ramshackle Dorm he was determined to keep you from making the mistake of staying with his father.

Prompt - Scar worship

You stared at Casper’s back.

You were sitting behind Casper on your guy's bed. Casper had just finished showering and his nighttime skincare routine.

He had yet to put on a shirt because he waited for his hair to dry and he said that it is better to let your hair air dry. Anyway, you were staring at Casper’s back because there were scars on it.

Some were small, some were big, some were old, some were recently new, some were long, some of them were short. There were all kinds of scars on Casper’s back.

You never knew he had scars.

It was hard to tell over the video call and Casper had only been living with you for a few months. So this was a new discovery for you.

You reached forward and moved Casper’s out of the way so you could touch one of the scars.

A medium size one that went from Casper’s right shoulder to about the middle of his back.

You reached your finger forward and touched the top of the scar. It felt weirdly warm compared to Casper’s cold skin. Casper shivered and turned his head back at you. “What are you doing?”

He asked. “I didn’t know you had scars”, you said with your finger still running down the scar. “Well, it wasn’t easy being a Grim Reaper, people don’t want to die, you proved that sunshine”, Casper said.

“That was months ago, get over it”, you said and that caused Casper to stop talking. “Why did you never tell me”, you asked, moving from the first scar to run your finger over more.

Casper shivered again. “Never came up, plus it’s not something I go flaunting around”, Casper explained. Casper started to turn but you stopped him.

You reached forward and wrapped your arms around Casper’s waist. Pulling him so your chest was to his back. Casper looked at you confusingly, but you paid no mind to it.

You grabbed one of Casper’s arms with your hand, turning it around. Scars also littered his arms, you wouldn't be surprised if he had some on his legs too.

You rubbed your fingers over the scars, memorizing what they felt and how big they were. “What are you doing?” Casper asked, taking his arm out of your hand.

Though Casper couldn’t lie, he liked how it felt when you traced his scars.

You smiled and leaned back, staring at Casper’s back. “Admiring my boyfriend”, you said. You leaned down and kissed one of Casper’s scars.

Casper whined and pulled away from your lips. Casper turned his head to look at you out of the corner of his eyes. “Why?” Casper asked while you just shook your head.

“Cause you're stunning, handsome, gorgeous, you’ve said it yourself”, you said. Casper blushed and turned his head back around. You smirked and leaned down to kiss another scar.

Casper whined again, but this time he didn’t pull away.

“My pretty little reaper”, you said before you kissed a scar. Casper leaned towards you, resting his back fully against your chest. You placed your head on Casper’s shoulder and grabbed his arm.

You raised it to your lips so you could kiss it. You did that till you kissed every scar on his arm then you moved to the next. Casper whined and gasped throughout all of it, you might have to do this again just to hear those noises again.

Once you were done you leaned back and pushed Casper’s head down so he was looking up at you. You leaned down and kissed Casper.

Casper leaned his head up further to kiss you deeper and you allowed him to. The kiss was quick and rough, way too quick for Casper’s liking.

“I love your scars, never hide them from me again, cutie?”

You asked and Casper nodded with a red face. You just smirked and leaned down to kiss and scar on Casper’s chest. Casper fully leaned back, laying his head in your lap.

You scooted back so you could sit comfortable with Casper in your lap. You moved one of your hands to run up and down Casper’s chest.

My name is Wendy Morrison, I'm 23 and I just moved into Ravenwood.

First thing I did was adopting a new pet - beautiful crow named Shadow. She is a cutie, and veeeeeery talkative, which is all the socialization I need truly.

In Ravenwood I can fianlly be myself. Now thats a relieve. I can practice tarot and communicate with the dead, or at least learn how to do that.

I also got a job 2 days ago! Weirdly noone asked me to do an interview. Now I know why...

So yeah, now I'm basically a Grim Reaper! Don't ever tell him I said that... Boss will kill me...

This is the BEST job I couldve gotten!!! Its filled with mystery, ghosts and theres almost no socializing! Plus! I'm helping ppl get to the other side, which truly exist by the way!!!

I've passed the try-out, so now I am a real worker there. Tho I'm not sure how will I pass the soul quota... But I'll figure it out.

Take that anyone who said I'm weird nerd at school! Now your lifes are in my freaking hands!

i'm not used to anthro characters so i hope i was able to do this cutie justice. meet dr meti geer, created by @luci-j. to start with, you can read fanfiction featuring him pinned on @luci-j’s blog. and you should. because even though im only like one chapter in, it’s already charming & funny as hell.

meti is another child of ego (and therefor, half-brother to star-lord) and an escapee from the planet fauntera (where he was forced to process the dead — a grim background). he also has faunterian plant-based magic, which is rad as fuck.

even better? he's knowhere's chief veterinarian (thanks to the increased need for animal-doctors since the high evolutionary's lab subjects have made the skull their home). rocket may be a genius but meti can give him a run for his money: this gorgeous green-eyed bby has three degrees (oof) in zoology, botany, and (of course) veterinary sciences. it sounds like he can also give comics-rocket a run for his money in terms of left-behind lovers.

not only is this a rad as hell role on knowhere but — i think this is my favorite and honest has such gotg-vibes — he met rocket by falling off a roof and kneeing our fave raccoon in the junk. oops. plus apparently he "accidentally" marries rocket three days later. well-played, my good doctor. (jk, i'm sure it was a legit accident, but it makes me giggle)

anyway it all gives me good vibes and i really, really hope this is what you were looking for, my friend, and that this lil doodle can live up to the awesomeness that is dr meti greer. it was so fun to try my hand at another anthro character and i don't know whether or not i did a good job (maybe his ears should be wider at the base? or his face longer? felines are difficult!), but i truly hope you enjoy the finished product. thank you for letting me try my hand at him!

So to answer the Barbie question, birdie and her aren't really close plus birdie would assume since she feels this much pain over his 'passing' that Barbie probably wouldn't want to talk about him. (or barb would say 'he's dead to me' or something similar, solidifying the lies that Buckzo fed her)

Her and fizz try to continue talking after fizz gets a new phone (both his and blitz's phones were destroyed in the fire) but fizz's life becomes really hectic and their relationship fizzled (ha) out.

Neither of them talked about Blitz for the same reason as Barbie.

Timeskip to the Ozzie meeting (basically everything that happened in the og fic has happened except birdie is more depressed this time)

Her and fizz first meeting after a while was a bit... awkward in a 'I missed you a lot but now you're here and I don't know what to do' way but soon they get into the swing of things, reminiscing on past memories.

Blitz still isn't mentioned in this conversation and fizz is surprised that birdie is still a virgin since she's such a cutie! (oz did receive a earful from fizz because of the whole debacle, don't make fun of his best friend!)

Birdie and blitz reunion? Oh now that is a situation :}.

Oh my! The plot thickens :D Though it makes me sad that they would drift apart after such a serious accident, because we remember how Fizzarolli was confused and upset at the fact Blitzo didn't come visit him (or at least that's what he thought), so I imagine that on top of feeling like one of her best friends died, the other one was basically abandoning her.

All those long pauses between answering calls and texts, until it turned into years....

But yeah, I imagine marrying Stolas would have been pretty grim for her. Though, at that point she would have heard Blitz's name (by the time Birdie goes the party he's said it at least once) and not drawing a parallel. I suppose in this verse she's just too timid to ask him or mention it.

But Blitz and Birdie?! How does it go?! If he's seeing Stolas and slowly developing feelings for him (sorry Stolitz 100%) then how will seeing Birdie again affect them all?

Fontaine Archon Quest Act 1 + 2 Spoilers beneath the cut!!! 👾 anon and 🎺 anon i responded to you here :) (Also lots of talking about Arlie because I LOVE HER)

I've also gone through Lyney and Lynette's character stories/voice lines regarding Arlecchino (and a rough translation of Freminet's) and I completely agree! To be completely honest she seems more nicer than I thought she'd be. Of course, she's still strict and evil but she still has standards and seems to care for the siblings to some extent. One of the lines I found most interesting was "Perhaps the most amazing aspect of Lyney's Founding Day magic show was its ability to have even "Father" lay down her heavy burden and enjoy a brief moment of familial love." I didn't expect her to have such a close connection with the siblings. Plus, when she denied giving Lyney a Delusion and also allowed Lynette to keep a box of cats? Loved that. She can be cruel and mean but she does have some sort of heart left. Not to mention Arlie's confirmed to be from Fontaine. I hope we learn her real name soon! Totally with you there with her being soft only for reader ❤️ She has the ability to be kind but expresses it in perhaps an unconventional way. Even when she's being soft she doesn't know exactly how to act. Really looking forward to her in-game appearance!!

FR I LOVE THE SIBLINGS SOOO MUCH 😭💖💖 (Freminet was robbed of screentime though) AND YES ARLECCHINO I LOVE HER 😭 Ugh I can totally imagine that <3 Arlie shows her kindness in a stern and strict way but you're the complete opposite. You can't fathom being cold to these little cuties! You're the affectionate one and while Arlie does scold you a bit about spoiling them too much she can't get too mad because at least you can handle all the mushy stuff which she cannot do very well. I'm now brainrotting about the kids seeing you and Arlie argue and becoming scared for your relationship and trying to get the two of you to reconcile 😭 I'm literally bouncing in excitement for 4.1 i want to see her so bad!!

Moving on to me just talking about the quests. Did anyone else feel a bit upset at Traveler for how they treated Lyney and Lynette at the end?? I did considering everything the twins went through. I understand the Traveler not trusting the Fatui but they were literally holding onto Childe's Vision in that moment?😭 Besides that little piece, these two Archon quests were really solid and lots of fun. Was also surprised how many serious topics were put into it too. Usually they leave the dark stuff for side/world quests.

Navia. Definitely an amazing character i loved her in the quests. Really beautiful, great personality, and i love her two bodyguards. Her voice while yelling at Neuvillette was really raw 🥺 Also loving Furina a lot. I didn't expect her to be insecure of herself. Seems like her confidence is just a facade for her people's sake. Y'all already know how I feel about Neuvillette haha i didn't expect him to be so emotional but I'm loving him so much! (I love everyone lemme just stop repeating myself 😭)

But damn being dissolved into water is so grim 😭 Imagine just being Fontanian and all of a sudden you learn you could simply dissolve and no one would ever know. I'd literally be so scared that i could die at any time 😭

EDIT: I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT TO TALK ABOUT CHILDE IM SO DONE. IM SO SORRY CHILDE LOVERS I GOT TOO SWEPT BY ARLIE. Anyway. Childe was so freaking cute. He is the kind of guy who would tell you every little detail no matter how minuscule it is about his siblings. Teucer told him about something that happened to him? Okay now you're getting the same story but more drawn about and longer because Childe can't help babbling about his family.

In my detailed headcanon M-'s nun met M- before taking vows, since I do not think M- or Mercymorn is open enough to become best friends with a woman of the cloth. No, I think M- and her nun met when they were younger and experienced the ecstasies and agonies of mentally ill lesbian comphet, the kind where both parties have horror stories that end with "and we weren't even DATING." This song is secular M-'s nun having a bad old time

2) I Know There's An Answer / The Beach Boys

Ope, what's that over there? Is that the specter of tradcath radicalisation? Thingss are starting to look up for M-'s nun who, despite having some stuff going on (cf. committing suicide twice, famously a thing that happy and well people love to do) is essentially an optimist who wants to be happy (she's a delight). She's a nun and she's got the answer and that answer is the Holy Trinity (plus everyone else and paraphernalia)

3) Soul Meets Body / Death Cab For Cutie

This starts the section of the playlist that directly deals with M-'s nun's time with Jod and the lads, as it's the most information we get on her. She's in a fortified laboratory with her no-homo bestie, said bestie's worstie, and the incarnate god on earth, and she wants to know where soul meets body!!!!!!!!!

4) Canaan's Land / United Sacred Harp Musical Association

Sacred harp singing is an inherently collaborative style of music. There are no rehearsals; just people sitting in a square facing each other and singing the most unbelievably grim music at full volume at each other. It is, in and of itself, a form of worship. M-'s nun is under the impression she's taking the covenant with her bestie :3 while arguing with the Vatican about miracles. Beyond the form, Canaan's Land is a song about accepting guidance from God, and being really excited to go to heaven..... maybe,,,,,, a little TOO excited.....

5) There Ain't No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down / G.M. Farley, The Foggy River Boys

This is the first of the "suicide trio" - songs that I put on the playlist to reflect multiple angles for Cristabel's first suicide. There Ain't No Grave is another ultrachristian banger, and reflective of intense faith in resurrection. I don't think Cristabel's suicide was a spur of the moment decision, just as I don't think Cristabel was actually stupid. Fellas we are NOT taking Augusting Quinque at face value. Her first suicide is grounded in a profound faith that she won't be dead for very long - John will find where soul meets body (yoooo) and resurrect her. Which tbf does happen, just... a bit differently than planned

6) Far Side Banks Of Jordan / Johnny Cash and June Carter

Super romantic ballad about waiting for your loved ones after death but not being overly upset about your death, or their death, or death in general! M-'s nun has to know that M- is not going to deal well with her suicide (also do you guys ever think about how she killed herself basically in front of M-/ Mercymorn twice). How does M-'s nun justify what she's going to do to her no-homo bestie? Once more she's appealing to faith in John.

7) I'm Going to Do It / Giles Corey

Dark night of the soul o'clock feat. Giles Corey, the folk offshoot of Have A Nice Life aka the band extremely online people had depression to from ~2013 - 2018. Things are going wrong, and John is slowly revealing himself to be a destructive and vindictive man who priotises revenge and being right over the wellbeing of everything. Doubts are creeping in, but M-'s nun has a plan and she's going to execute it because she has faith.

8) Boot Sequence / meganeko

The act of resurrection. After an unknown amount of time where M-'s nun's body rots untended in a flooded bunker, John gets the bright idea to resurrect everyone after mindwiping them. This is a fun and soothing song! Huge tune for computergirls! John chose to strip his closest companions of everything but their lives. He rebooted them like they were shitty laptops that might work a little better with a different operating system, and that's a little fucked up! This is also the start of a tonal change in the playlist where M-'s nun becomes Cristabel, and I think some things probably got a little goofy on transition.

Vice dorm leaders find you drunk

Trey

He found you drunk in Ramshackle when he was coming by to drop off some of his famous baked goods. Grim basically yelled at him to take care of you and went off to bed early haha.

At first, he laughs, trying to take some pictures of you with his phone but he soon gets worried about your health and moves to help you get off from the floor. You were busy rolling around and singing a song that you didn't notice it was him helping you up and trying to get you to your room.

"H-hey, hey you there," you pinch at his cheek. He looks over at you with an amused face. "T-there's this guy *hick* that I'm dating...wow he's so sweet *laughs* like the treats he makes...oh you have to see him he's so hot too," you ramble off, almost sliding off of him. He catches you before you fall over.

"Oh really?" he chuckles. "Tell me more, what's your favorite thing about him?" he finds all of this super funny (and really cute). Not to mention he will tease you lightly about this the next day.

Ruggie (there's no vice dorm leader in Savanaclaw but he's basically doing that role)

He has no idea how you managed to find alcohol in the kitchen but here you were, with him late at night, drunk while he was finishing making a late night snack.

"Hey hey, y/n, don't fall over I got you," he tries his best to be gentle with you. He doesn't like the pungent smell of alcohol but he thinks how you're stumbling around is a bit funny. He helps you walk all the way to Ramshackle.

"Waitwaitwait! Before you go..." you tell him at the couch where he leaves you in your dorm. He stops and looks at you, his ears perked up in curiosity. "T-there's the real cutie in Savanaclaw...R-Ruggie, y'know? Whenever he laughs *hick* he's so adorable I wanna hug him all the time...oh he's a great chef too and like, o-oh man he's just the best," you ramble and giggle to yourself.

"Shishishi, I didn't know you liked me that much," he leans in and kisses you on the cheek. He would be lying if he said he wasn't a bit flustered by your words, but he will be the one making you embarrassed tomorrow by teasing you about it.

Jade

You drank something that Floyd gave you at the Mostro Lounge, and now you were drunk. Jade scolded his brother about it and apologized to Azul for your drunken state. Thankfully the lounge was empty because it was past its opening hours.

Jade carried you bridal style back to Ramshackle. He offered you a guest room at Octavinelle but you seemed adamant on returning so he just picked you up and started to walk. That was when you suddenly began talking.

"H-have you met J-Jade? T-the really sexy guy from Octavinelle with the beautiful smile? H-he's my boyfriend and...and wow he's just so cool! He can swim, he's super smart, a-and I love how we *hick* we can go ex-explore mountains together...you have to see him!" you giggled. You had no idea who you were talking to apparently.

"Yes, I'm sure he's wonderful," Jade smiles at you, oh he was going to have so much fun teasing you about this in the next week. But if you looked closely at him, you didn't just boost his ego, you also made him blush.

Jamil

Why are you drunk? How did you get drunk? What happened? Jamil has so many questions but he has no idea how to get you to answer them as he is dragging you out of the party that you were in while hanging around another dorm.

He's muttering to himself about how he should've went to the party with you to make sure you were safe. Thankfully, it seems that you weren't harmed, just tipsy. While he's busy thinking about how to help you the most for tomorrow's possible hangover, you suddenly tug on his shirt while stumbling around next to him.

"H-hey, you look a lot like m-my boyfriend, Jamil. Y'know him? The super smart, super talented guy? You *hick* you need to hear him sing, he's majestic. Oh and his looks?! Man and I t-thought that the deserts were HOT-" "You're drunk stop."

Jamil's trying to remain calm as you continue rambling on about how much you love him, but he can't help the searing blush he has on his cheeks. His heart races and and feels butterflies in his stomach. Sure, you were boosting his ego, but he would be lying if he said he wasn't flustered. He tries to get you to your dorm faster now so he doesn't faint from being loved so much haha.

Rook

You were drunk in Rook's room because he somehow smuggled alcohol into the school grounds :/. But now, he has made a mental note that he shouldn't give you the whole bottle and think that you would be fine.

He offered for you to sleep on his bed as he slept on his desk. He was busy writing poems and finishing off the last of a book he was reading when he suddenly heard you talking.

"O-oh...oh man h-have you seen R-Rook? Y-you can't *hick* miss him, he's the one with flawless h-hair and like...the prettiest eyes. He-he's a master with words and like, wow he can shoot arrows, he has *hick* perfect aim or something. He's so cool, I l-love him so much, h-he's my boyfriend y'know?" you ramble and roll over on your side so you're facing him. Apparently you forgot who you were talking to.

He sighs and smiles at you. "Mon amour, my love for you is unending as well," he rests his chin on his hand and watches you with loving eyes. He thinks you're cute, but the fact that you're just rambling about how much you love him makes it all the sweeter to see you. He still worries about your health tomorrow though haha.

Lilia

You two were drinking together because he too is a menace and snuck some alcohol against school rules haha. Sadly, he overestimated your alcohol tolerance and gave you too much. Now he has to figure out whether to help you get back to your dorm or let you stay in his room.

He ends up letting you stay, helping you lie down comfortably on the bed before he goes back to his desk. He doesn't have to sleep thankfully, and he wants to make sure he can tend to your health so you don't have a harsh headache tomorrow. Everything was pretty calm until he heard you talking about someone that you thought was "a handsome cutie."

"Y-y'know the super cute guy i-in Diasomnia? H-he's my boyfriend, L-Lilia, t-the one with the r-really cool hair? Wow *hick* h-he's so good at th-the guitar a-and like, s-singing, h-have you heard him? Man, I-I'm so lucky to h-have such a c-cool guy..." you hug a pillow tightly while closing your eyes. Lilia looks at you with a shocked expression before his face softens into a smile.

"Y/n, you're drunk," he laughs. "But, tell me, what else is so cool about him?" he teases. He will also tease you endlessly about everything you said haha, but he did think you were super cute. He probably has a recording of you talking about how amazing his gaming skills are too lol.

HAPPY 2022!

Here’s My 10 Most Anticipated 2022 Thai BLs 

Between Us - delayed from 2020, adaptation of spin off novel (Hemp Rope; source The Red Thread --> Until We Meet Again), from Studio Wabi Sabi featuring one of their most popular (and commercially viable) pairs, this has plenty of funding and distribution (WeTV) with established (if inconsistent) BL director New (who did UWMA). Hemp Rope tells WinTeam’s romance from the start, so we might get some recon reboot action (like LBC2). I expect this to be slightly higher heat than what we get from GMMTV. 

Enchanté - delayed from 2021. Secret admirer romance with a touch of Cyrano de Bergerac and dose of Boys Over Flowers from GMMTV. Completed filming and will air in first quarter 2022, stars Book (Friend Forever) opposite new face, with side dishes Fluke Gawin (Mork in Dark Blue Kiss) and Fluke Pusit (Way in The Shipper). Theo returns from France and starts a written flirtation inside a library book (!) at his new uni with the mysterious Enchante. His best friend Ak hunts for Enchante’s real identity, and 4 senior boys step forward - all intersted in dating Theo. Ak might also be in the running. New framework for Thai BL (although not for yaoi) and I’m intrigued. 

Dear Doctor - adapted from a y-novel by HUNGRYBIRD Dear Doctor, I'm Coming For Soul. Wabi Sabi picked up this defunked project and is apparently bringing it back for iQIYI starring Grey Rainbow couple Nut & Karn who are great together and certainly mature and capable leads. A romance between a doctor trying to save his patients and the Grim Reaper, who is both his enemy and lover. It looks like there is also a side couple at the hospital. The gay Doom at Your Service? I LOVE THIS PREMISE!!! 

Vise Versa - GMMTV’s adaptation of a JittiRain y-novel (2gether author), alt reality, bodyswap, soulmates AKA fated mates. Stars Jimmy (Wai from Bad Buddy) + a fresh face. Looks very good, a timeslip alt reality sort of thing. I’m super pleased to see Jimmy get a lead. Also I think one of the characters might be butch (intentionally or not). Which would be a first for GMMTV. 

KinnPorsche - delayed from 2021, book adaptation, mafia/bodyguard romance, lots of production issues (which is why it’s not higher on this list). The titular characters are played by actors new to BL - intentionally; sides include Jeff (of Ingredients) , Tong (TharnType & Second Chance), and Perth (My Engineer). It’s a BIG cast. Mafia kid, Kinn, is assaulted and flees into the arms of student Porsche. Porsche helps Kinn escape and Kinn blackmails him into becoming his bodyguard. Likely to be higher heat. 

The Eclipse - GMMTV bringing us tons of tropes: sinister boarding school, haze the one you love, good boy/bad boy, suspense & horror elements, self acceptance themes, a curse, AND enemies to lovers. Stars First from The Shipper and Khaotung from Tonhon Chonlatee, side dish pairing from FUTS NeoLouis, and Pawin from My Gear and Your Gown. To me this looks like Blacklist meets Great Men Academy but doomy. I really like this pairing and I think they can handle the content. 

Cutie Pie - arranged marriage, age gap, secret identity, cohabitation, rich kid problems, plus he’s in engineering. Stars Zee (Why R U?) as the seme and the uke actor is unknown but looks good, also has MaxNat (Why R U? & Y-Destiny & Close Friend). The sons of two companies are engaged to each other. One doesn’t want an arranged marriage while the other wants to win him over. I happen to adore an arranged marriage trope and I’ve yet to see it in gay romance let alone BL, so I’m intrigued. 

Never Let Me Go - mafia, attack dog (whipping boy + bodyguard), love triangle, obsession, suspense from GMMTV with Jojo of 3 Will Be Free directing, so we know the action parts should be good. I think this is GMMTV’s answer to KinnPorsche but it looks a lot more like Golden Blood. Either way I love a bodyguard romance and PondPhuwin (leads in Fish Upon the Sky) are a good pair I’d like to see get a better series. Also has Aun (Folk from My Gear) and Chimon (My Dear Loser). Feels a little classic yaoi with almost Japanese elements and I’m delighted by the cast. 

Coffee Melody - Cafe set BL starring Pavel (my love) as a barista (2moons2) and Benz as a singer (Call it What You Want) and they look good together but I am worried about the support cast and the plot. Still, it’s Pavel! 

My Only 12% - Studio Wabi Sabi’s y-novel adaptation (author Afterday who also wrote the novel behind Bad Buddy) starring SantaEarth (7 Project) The plot looks a little dull and sad which is why this is at the bottom of this list, but I ADORE Santa & Earth’s chemistry on screen and Wabi Sabi has knocked worse than this out of the park, so fingers crossed 

I don’t necessarily think these are going to be the ones I like the most but these are the ones, from Thailand, that I think are going to be the most interesting (or are staring some of my favorite actors, and I’m just happy to see them back).

After a few surreal experiences around the world like being forever trapped in a water park in India or stupidly choosing to take the northern route in a Swedish forest and as a result I almost reached the Arctic without a sign of life - I literally saw the vegetation change (but also including some Greek-related ones like in a Serbian city where the game dropped me first thing in front of a Greek Tourism office and then there was some Greek graffiti in another part of town for some reason and I was convinced I was in some strange Greek place until 10 minutes later I remembered Greek is not written in Cyrillic so this felt like an AU where Greece is a Slavic country PLUS me bumbing onto a theater playing Zorba the Greek in Santiago, Chile ^_^) ANYWAY I decided to play Greece for fun and potential material for the blog and BOY

Classic mode has five rounds so first round ever in Greece, GeoGuessr dropped me in

a godforsaken muddy graveyard. Nice. There was a grim village nearby and as I was getting out of it I found a sign with its name:

ΜΑΥΡΟΓΕΙΑ. Meaning BLACKEARTH. Yeah, no kidding. What a happy start.

Second, third and fourth rounds were relatively normal. 

Now fifth round dropped me there.

Finally! A pretty place! I decided to go towards the mountains.

A nice way to forget GeoGuessr dropped you in a dirt road and you’re not guessing the place anytime soon. It felt like I was walking for hours trying to get close to that bloody mountain or any sign of life. After a long time and many turns through small paths I find myself in a main road.

Pretty aesthetic. But these mountains are still far away. Like, do you see the difference with the previous image? Do you get how much I have travelled? In this picture I am literally in the horizon of the previous picture. 

Ahhh how beautifully the sunbeams fall on the sign AND DON’T LET ME READ WHERE THE FUCK I AM.

Why did the season change so drastically? Am I on the road for months?

Oh okay it’s autumn again. It’s been a full year.

The bloody lack of inspiration in this country I swear... I have to hit the road again.

At this point I feel that if I just took the car and searched for that place IRL, I would be able to find it sooner.

This is how Frodo must have felt when he was trying to reach Mount Doom.

Excuse me? Bouboukas? BOUBOUKAS?

You mean that I’ve spent an hour in this bloody game wandering in Kolofoni (which means glorious peak ROFL but it also sounds like “Butt-voice”) and trying to find Bouboukas (cringy masculine floral dimunitive)??? That’s it, I’m not playing Greece ever again. 

P.S but Bouboukas is a cutie pie of only 24 inhabitants. Let’s give some love to lil’ Bouboukas.

PS 2: I still don’t know what these mountains are called. Didn’t get any closer and I probably don’t want to anymore. This was by far my longest round all over the world, beating the two trappings in Indian theme parks (yeah, there were two of those for some reason), beating almost reaching the North pole from a Swedish forest, beating another massive nothingness in Texas and an endless wandering in St. Petersburg, Russia where I couldn’t understand any of the road signs and labels. Unbelievable.

 I love this game though - I only barely keep myself from making posts about random international GeoGuessr adventures - can you tell? XD

plus if Devil from Cuphead Show, has been around for centuries to even eons, that would make him an Eon-Boomer.

even Octavia’s Dad would be a Eon-Boomer, and let’s see, most of the Hierarchy in Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss....

anyway the reason why Cadance, Shinning Armor and Cozy Glow’s Cutie Marks

are in the same space, has to do with a theory I have that is about Cozy Glow secretly being Shining and Cadance’s daughter.

both Chrysalis and Tirek are Royalty, and Cozy Glow is possibly Royalty,

and she has blue mane, pink coat and is a pegasus.

it does kind of suck that out of all the ponies that don’t get reformed,

it’s Pegasi, I can’t be the only one who notice this, right...?

unless there is a comic that shows different, and I guess I could try to look it up to see if there is a comic canon about a Villain Pegasus being reformed...

but my theory about Cozy Glow is wrong, and maybe she isn’t their daughter.

but it doesn’t change the fact that there could be a reason why she ended up with a twisted view and became corrupted.

and from what we know of the whole ponies throwing some creatures from their native homes in the forest, and right into Tartarus.

oh and let’s not forget, instead of just sending Cozy Glow to the Human World (where Sunset Shimmer lives currently.)

they decide to send her to Tartarus.

I can still like a show but can disagree with certain actions that heroes end up doing, that can do more harm than good.

maybe magic leaving Equestria was Karma.

it’s like you can only misuse magic so much before karma comes to play.

same goes for Star Butterfly scapegoating magic as the problem,

but in truth it was her and her family that were the problem, because of their misuse of the magic.

magic can only become a problem, if it is being misused by it’s wielder.

and I still think Chrysalis became traumatized and it is the reason why she rejects the magic of friendship, and I also believe she isn’t really Thorax and Pharynx’s Mother, and that she was once a pony before being brought back to life as a changeling.

plus Princess Celestia keeping Magical Artifacts that don’t belong to the ponies, and one of them belonging to possibly Thorax and Pharynx’s True Mother....

 it just doesn’t seem right, shouldn’t all those artifacts be returned to the Changelings, Yaks, Dragons, Griffin and Hippogriff...?

and there could be other fans who have been starting to question it as well.

maybe just don’t worry about it for now...

The Puppet’s Mask being “Purple” instead of “White”,

kind of reminds me of Purple-Guy, for all we know we might of been tricked and “Purple-Guy” could turn out to be The Puppet of The Classic Animatronics, and Toy-Puppet was their replacement.

I think I will talk about that theory later....

klance drabble - keithtober & klancetober 2020 - DAY 4: BLACK CAT

"C'mon Keith, don't act like this will be so painful. Who doesn't love cute fuzzy animals?" Shiro spoke, trying to invoke any thread of positivity in Keith that he could awake with his so called incentive.

Despite his beaming smile,it fell flat. "Do I look like the kind of person that particularly loves cute, fuzzy things?" Keith asked dryly, solid frown in place on his grim looking face.

They were standing outside of their local animal shelter, the air surrounding them hot and humid. Animals aside, Keith couldn't wait to go in and get some cool air conditioner onto his skin.

"Yeah okay, Mr. Grumpy, you got a point. But who says it's a crime to want to spend some time with my little brother who's always holed away in his room doing assignments, huh?"

Keith rolled his eyes at that. Shiro was so dramatic. He had a life outside of university, okay?

"Plus," Shiro began again, alerting Keith to the fact that his efforts in persuasion were not over. "You know this is for Adam's birthday and he loves cats! I just needed someone to help me pick out the purr-fect one for him," Shiro smirked proud of his dad joke and putting his arm on Keith's shoulder in his way of saying you aren't getting out of this, so don't even try.

"First of all, do not make a pun ever again, seriously. Secondly, I thought we already established I'm not some kinda cat connoisseur or whatever. Thirdly, whatever. Let's just get this over with, I don't want you bugging me later." Keith let out a long suffering sigh, pushing open the doors to the shelter.

He was immediately greeted with the cooling sensation of AC and relished in the form of relief he would have throughout this experience.

In no time a tall darkskinned girl with long thick silver hair approached them. "Hello, how can I help you today? Are you both here to volunteer or adopt?" She asked, beaming smile in tact, and curious and helpful gaze trained on them.

Shiro offered a smile of his own. "I'd like to adopt a kitten today, if I can," he spoke easily to the woman. She nodded and her name tag flashed as she gestured at them to follow her, and Keith could see that it read "Allura."

She led them into a room far in the back which was bright and airy, clear and wide cubicles holding tiny little yelping puppies.

Keith smirked as Shiro practically melted as he gaped at them. It was amusing to witness a guy of his stature, all tall, buff and grey haired swooning over small animals.

Allura giggled at him. "I have to go deal with some business at the front desk, so please go right through that door up ahead," she instructed them. "Ask for Lance. He deals with the cats." And with that, she was off, leaving the two brothers to themselves.

They followed her guidance and entered another spacious room which still managed to be filled, but with the sound of mewling kittens.

"Keith...oh my god, look at them! I want all." Shiro told Keith seriously. Keith rolled his eyes, eyeing a guy in the corner bent over and tending to a mother cat and her babies.

As Keith left Shiro to moon over the other kittens and approached the stranger, he heard the guy coo to the cubicle below him.

"Aw don't worry cuties, everything's gonna be okay. Just lay with your mama alright? It's okay, it's okay. You're all so adorable aren't you? Cutest kitt-"

Keith cleared his throat. "Uh, excuse me. We're looking for a Lance?"

The guy's spine straightened immediately and so fast that Keith had to wonder if it had snapped. "Um hi, yes hi, that's me!" The guy babbled, pivoting on his heels quickly to face Keith.

And woah.

He was pretty cute, Keith observed. Objectively ofcourse. With his tossled brown waves and bright blue eyed gaze, and faint freckles lining his red cheeks, anyone would think that he was.

The guy, who was apparently the Lance they needed, scratched the back of his head and asked "How can I help you?" in about the smoothest, most melodic male voice Keith had ever heard.

Heat rose to his own cheeks. "Well you see...Um my brother. He's here. Um. To-" Keith blabbered wildly and was cut off by Shiro walking up to them.

"Yes hi, I'd like to adopt a cat today," he spoke smoothly, eyeing Keith with a knowing and amused look.

"Okay. Yes, I can definitely help you with that," Lance spoke, but his eyes were still locked onto Keith intently, who felt a tingling sensation in the pit of his stomach.

"Would you like to take a look at our new arrivals?" Lance asked professionally, to which Shiro nodded yes. Soon they were being shown around the room to the kittens that had recently been dropped off to the shelter by kind strangers who had found them.

Shiro seemed to take particular interest in a black cat with golden eyes, bending down to read her name tag. Opal was what it read.

Keith quirked an eyebrow. "Opal?" He asked, before he could control himself. Lance laughed, the sound of it thrumming in Keith's chest. He'd just made this pretty guy laugh somehow.

"Let's just say I have a sense of humour," Lance smirked at him, winking an eye. Keith averted his gaze hastily, feeling consumed by the blush spreading over his face. Shiro cleared his throat eyeing Keith again.

"Opal's perfect," he told Lance. "I would love the opportunity to give her a new home," He spoke sincerely.

"That's awesome." Lance responded, smiling brightly, and god could he be any prettier and more charming? "She's a lovely little one. Takes very well to affection and trusts easily. I'll just get you the forms from Allura right now," he told Shiro.

"Oh, actually, I don't mind doing it on my own, I have some questions about volunteering I want to ask her anyway." Shiro said, a gleam in his eye.

"I'll be back Keith, stay here," he smirked, winking blatantly. Lance laughed again.

Keith was going to murder him later, but for now he wanted to see how many laughs he could pull out of the ethereal boy beside him.

Welcome to the part 2 of my Ever After High x Twisted Wonderland AU headcanons!

On this part you will find headcanons about: The setting of the AU, which EAH students transfer to NRC and their dorm (aside from Raven since we already know what her dorm at NRC is) and additional headcanons.

Warning: English is not my first language so sorry if it’s confusing!

-AU setting:

-The AU set after the “Twisted Wonderland” game’s story.

-In this AU, thank to the heavy magical influence to which they have been exposed during the TW events, the MC developped magic and become an official Night Raven College student and the Ramshackle Dorm an official dorm.

-The Ramshackle Dorm is based on the hidden potential of it students, like the MC or Grimm.

-The dorm has been renoved, courtesy of Azul as his way of saying “sorry-to-have-been-a-jerk-to-you-and-thank-you-for-saving-my-ass-when-I-was-overblot” to MC and Grimm.

-On the outside the Ramshackle Dorm look like a gloomy haunted house, but on the inside the dorm is beautyful and cosy.

-The colors of the dorm are black and white

-Since the dorm is still new there’s no official dorm uniform yet, for now, the only uniform the dorm had is the basic Night Raven College school uniform.

- Others EAH students transfers and their dorms:

-Pomefiore:

-Poppy O’Hair:Being a very creative fashionista made her fit Pomefiore’s importance with beauty.

-C.A Cupid:She is very hardworking in spreading love which made her fit for a dorm which is based on “the hard efforts of beauty” because after all beauty is in many form and the beauty of the heart and love are also a part of it. 

-Heartslabyul:

-Lizzie Heart:As the original Queen of Hearts’s descendant, she is fit for the dorm, she is strict but more fair than Riddle, the two of them can bond over the pressure they both felt to please their mothers’s belief and Lizzie can help Riddle to be more balanced in his relationship with his peers both as a friend and as a dorm leader.

-Maddie Hatter:Just as the Mad Hatter who was able to adapt himself to the Queen of Hearts’s strict reign despite being mad, Maddie will be able to adapt to Heartslabyul’s strict ways, she will be able to memorize all the dorm’s rules ‘cause after all not many things are impossible for her. She will even use that to help her dormmates when they are forgetting rules, such as not wearing pink when taking care of the flammingos, so they will not get in trouble and with her fun and nice attitude this will make her rather popular at her dorm.

-Octavinelle:

-Coral Witch:As the original Sea Witch’s descendant she is automaticaly sorted in Octavinelle. Even if her beliefs about how helping other are quite the opposite of Azul’s she can adapt to make sure to been able to actually helping people in need with Octavinelle’s ways without being like a loanshark or a mob making her the ying of Azul’s yang.

-Holly O'Hair:Another trait that Octavinelle value is intelectual inteligence, which fit Holly since she is know for being VERY smart and a history nerd, she will be very interested in Twisted Wonderland world’s history and her intelligence will make her a good asset in the dorm.

-Scarabia:

-Blondie Lockes:Blondie may be annoying and nosy but she is well know to be very resourceful when it come to gathering information and helping in planing, qualities which are very welcomed in Scarabia, plus, being in a social and very positive environment like Scarabia can help Blondie to become more empathic toward her peers and more respectful of their boundaries.

-Hunter Huntsman:His kind nature and capacity to do anything out of anything make him a good asset for Scarabia.

-Ashlynn Ella:Being hardworking and ready to even dirt herself in working if needed make Ashlynn fit with the dorm’s beliefs.

-Ignihyde:

-Melody Piper: Piper using very often technology which involve music will be very interested in Ignihyde’s magic technology and will had fun to create music theme magical technology.

-Savanaclaw:

-Cerise Hood:Being very atletic and her tomboy traits make her fit for Savanaclaw, plus, being in this dorm, and by extension in NRC, will give to Cerise the ocasion to finally be herself and to show her wolf heritage.

-Ramona Badwolf:Like Cerise, being very atletic make fit for the dorm and her strong head attitude help too. She will also help Cerise to incrase her confidence about showing her wolf heritage and when sometimes Cerise manichacally put her hood to hide her hears Ramona will remind her she doesn’t had to hide anymore. Will develop a rivality with Jack Howl and maybe Leona.

-Diasomnia:

-Faybelle Thorn:Being a descendant from Maleficent and very eager to become a great and powerful fae make her fit with Diasomnia’s beliefs. Will be very admirative of Malleus’s magic capacities and capacities to intimidate others but will eventually bond with him on the fact people often forgot to inform him when school events happen and by so she will often be the one who will inform him when an event happen.

-Briar Beauty:The big surprise, everyone thought she would be in Pomefiore but the Mirror didn’t see it that way and put her in Diasomnia, because apparently she had magic from Malificent’s lineage making her a descendant too from another forgoten genealogical branch from Maleficent’s descendance who married into Sleeping Beauty’s lineage making Faybelle and Briar distant cousins. Making her sorting into Diasomnia will be the occasion for Briar to developpe her new found fae magic and to learn more about her fae heritage.

-Ramshackle:

-Dexter Charming:Being in Ramshackle will allow Dexter to discover his true potential and to develop his self confidence.

-Daring Charming:Being in this dorm will give the occasion to Daring to find who he truly is now he is not going to be Apple’s prince Charming anymore and is living a existential crisis.

-Darling Charming:Will help Darling to develop her wish and potential to be a knight who protect people.

-Duchess Swan:Had the potential to create her own destiny now she transfered and being in Ramshackle and the MC giving a chance and being nice to everyone will help Duchess to realize she don’t need to steal other people’s happily ever after to be happy and can create her own which will help her to be less bitter and more “nice”, or at least more civil, with her peers.

-Others students from EAH are either homeschooled either transfered in others schools but if you want a former student from EAH who is not on the list to be in NRC go ahead! ^^

-Additional headcanons:

-After the “Twisted Wonderland” dimension has been revealed to the Ever After world and many parents considered transfer their kids from EAH others hesitate faring Headmaster Grimm’s warnings of “if you don’t follow your destiny you go poof” to be true and not wanting their children to disappear and to be forgotten only to be pointed out that some stories’s figures such as “the king of beast” or “the king of the dead” don’t had descendants who follow their stories and no one disappeared and everyone remember them which finally convince the others parents that headmaster Grim’s ideology is BS.

-Many former students from EAH had a good potential in magic but headmaster Grimm convinced the parents of some of them to sealed their magic leaving them only a “magic touch” so they will fit to their “future destiny”. But after the students’s transfer their seals has been removed making their selection in magic school such as Night Raven College possible.

-Nevermore, Raven’s dragon, will join her a few days after Raven’s acceptation into NRC. She will appear in the school’s garden to the student’s amazement who will be shocked to learn a powerful being as a dragon is Raven’s familiar.

The two of you cuties have been in a relationship for all of three months now and somehow you had managed to avoid eating in front of your beloved God of War (￣ω￣)

For you see you had a secret ꈍ .̮ ꈍ

One that you were low key pretty embarrassed about, and it was that you couldn’t for the life of you, use chopsticks (*ﾉωﾉ)

You low key blamed your parents, even though your family was part Japanese, you had adapted more to your more English roots in using knives and forks 🍴

You dramatically clenched your fist in the air, “Dammit mom and dad, what am I going to do tonight, thanks to you guys I’m ganna embarrass myself in front of my lover and some fancy visiting princess.”

You fell back onto your futon and covered your face with your pillow (/ε＼*) 

Perhaps it was time to come clean (っ´ω｀c)

You stared at him in disbelief and looked out the window, “Just how long did you sleep.” (´-εヾ )

You groaned as you quickly got ready for the banquet

The two of you chatted and laughed, and was legit having the best time

You sheepishly picked up the chopsticks and tried your best to pick up the braised piece of pork, but as you carried it to your mouth, it fell down and landed straight on your lap ʕ⊙ᴥ⊙ʔ

You looked around nervously to see if anyone had noticed, thankfully not

You tried again, ending in the same result

At this point, the visiting princess was definitely sending a judging look your way, and you knew exactly what she was thinking, as she gave you a smirk * Lord Kenshin could never love a fool like her, look she cant even use chopsticks* (¬‿¬)

Kenshin notice the look of distress on your face and the pieces of pork that had fallen in your lap now staining your light blue kimono ⚆ _ ⚆

He gave you one of his bright dazzling smile and pulled you into his arms to sit you down on his lap (｡◕‿◕｡)

“What is the matter love,”  he asked as he nuzzled your cheek

“I-I-I I don’t know how to use chopsticks, I grew up using knives and forks, so I never learned how to eat using them” you squeezed your eyes shut and clenched your hands in tight fists

This is it, Kenshin was going to dump you in front of all these people

He gave you his chopsticks and placed his hands over yours, he then all while guiding you, brought a piece of the pork to your mouth

You took a small bite, while breaking out into the biggest blush

Just then, one of Kenshin's fluff balls jumped up onto your lap and stole one of the chopstick straight out of your hand, the other bunnies saw this, and another one hoped up to the two of you and stole the other one

You were shook, the only ones in the castle who had known your secret were the bunnies, that’s when Umi hopped up to you and dropped a small pouch in your lap (≖ᴗ≖✿)

The bunny then pushed your hand with his little nose as if urging you to open it (ㆁᴗㆁ✿)

Kenshin looked at the whole scene unfold curiously and before you could pick up the brown pouch, Kenshin grabbed hold of it and looked inside (人◕ω◕)

Mitsuhide smirked as he watched you continue your meal (─‿‿─)

This sneki boy found it incredibly interesting that you never once used chopsticks when you ate, and it seemed that your magical bag, had contained a limitless amount of these strange other eating utensils ≧☉_☉≦

“Little mouse may I ask you a question,” he asked in the middle of one of your lessons on economics, you rolled your eyes and nodded almost predicting what he was going to ask

“I have noticed you do not use chopstick when you dine, is there a particular reason for that.” (・ω・｀)………..

“I just really HATE, using them, plus I never really learned considering I grew up using a knife and fork.” 乁( ⁰͡  Ĺ̯ ⁰͡ ) ㄏ

Mitsuhide nodded thoughtfully and then continued on with the lesson 

A few days later he came into your room carrying an array of food, courtesy of Masamune ლ(•ω •ლ)

“Your next princes lesson little mouse will be, how to eat using chopsticks”, you groaned you really didn’t want to (¬_¬) 

“Mother dearest will scold you for 3 days if you attend tomorrows banquet without knowing how to use these” (¬‿¬)

It was the longest lesson of your life and by the end of it instead of learning how to use chopstick you had actually convinced Mitsuhide about all the benefits of not using chopsticks

The next day at the banquet, your lesson had paid off and you were successfully eating with your hated chopsticks （ლ ^ิ౪^ิ）ლ

You turned to Mitsuhide to show him how well his lessons had paid off when you spotted something in his hands ⊙０⊙

It seems the sneki snek had raided you bag ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

You walked your way over to the kitsune and loomed over him “Well well well and what do we have here” you narrowed your eyes at Mitsuhide as you took a seat beside him ಠ⌣ಠ

“It seems, mouse, you were correct in your use in this strange cutlery, I find it most amusing, and efficient” He demonstrated by scooping up a large helping of his mixed together meal and popped it in his mouth

“Princess were you the one that introduced lord Mitsuhide to this wonderful contraption,” Across from you and Mitsu, Mitsunari beamed as he too was eating with your stolen knife and fork 

“Told you, they are great,” you said with a triumphant grim  (｡◕‿◕｡)

He returned the smile and handed you over a gift ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

You carefully unwrapped the present and you couldn’t help but beam when you saw what was inside ｡◕‿◕｡

A SILVER CUTLERY SET! (◕▿◕✿)

He had visited the western traders earlier that day with Nobunaga and spotted it in one of the shops

The two of you now sat together and ate your banquet dinner with the silverware although your happy victory was short-lived, as soon the mother hen descended upon the two of you 

“Just what do you think you are doing, why are you using those strange things to eat” (ʘᗩʘ')

You smiled and handed your fork over to Hideyoshi “cause it’s waaaay easier and quicker to eat like this” (≖︿≖✿)

He carefully took the fork from your hand, picked up some stewed vegetables and brought it to Mitsunari's lips to feed him, he was in one of his book trances

Mitsunari opened his mouth and took a bite of the food, Hideyoshi narrowed his eyes he can't deny that this was slightly easier...  (ᇴ‿ฺᇴ)

Since that day you had managed to convert the Oda forces to occasionally eat with knives and forks (◠‿◠✿)
