💜 Not So Berry: Base Game Edition - Generation 5 (Plum)💜

Hi, Simmers! I'm currently deep into Generation 9-10 of my Not So Berry legacy (getting closer to that 100-gen goal! 😱), but today I wanted to share a highlight from my 5th generation: Plum!

Meet Rudolf Domínguez, my Gen 5 heir! 🎮📚 He was all about skill mastery and a bit of relationship chaos—definitely one of my most dramatic storylines so far!

🎭 Rudolf's Story: Rudolf, the son of Dustin and Erika, grew up in a home filled with ambition and energy—but not much stability. As a result, he grew into a genius but noncommittal Sim, constantly bouncing between careers and hobbies. He maxed out video gaming, piano, and programming but just couldn’t stick to a single job for long.

His love life? Pure drama! 😂 He met Svetlana at the gym, and their romance sparked quickly, leading to a fast wedding. But his noncommittal side got the better of him, especially when they faced challenges trying to start a family. The tension peaked when Svetlana bluntly criticized his "woohoo technique" (yes, this actually happened), and they divorced. 💔

Buuut... fate (and one final "goodbye woohoo") had other plans. Right before she moved out, they rekindled things just once—and guess what? Surprise pregnancy! 🤯 That twist brought them back together, and they remarried, finding a new balance as they prepared for parenthood.

Rudolf and Svetlana eventually welcomed twins Anastazie and Bernadeta, keeping the family legacy going strong. 💜

💡 Gameplay Commentary: The divorce and remarriage rule made this generation SO fun! Trying to balance six different skills while playing out all this relationship drama was wild, but it gave the legacy so much personality. And honestly, the chaos of Rudolf's career-hopping fit perfectly with his Plum traits.

“SILAS STARR! GET BACK TO YOUR OWN TIMELINE!”

Indigo Starr, Plum Generation sim of the Not So Berry challenge, has finally located his husband Silas in this strange new world of occults that haven’t made it to the Not So Berry universe yet. Indigo is 1/2 alien, trans(afab), incredibly intelligent, and lives in a haunted house with Silas and their ghost boyfriend Guidry and skeleton maid Bonehilda. Their household is chaos, and I loved having him around again! Unfortunately, they will both have to head on back to their own timeline soon!

Violet: “Honey, you’re getting a little close there to the fire.”

Amber: “Mom, please, im nearly an adu- OOPS!”

Violet: “AMBER! Oh gosh, CHRIS, DAD, THERES ARE FIR- Amber WHAT are you doing?!”

Amber: “Putting the fire out, duh.”

Violet: “She’ll be fine. We raised her well.”

Chris: “You’re amazing, Vi. You know that?”

Violet: “You guys are too much. Amber, you heard your dad. Bedtime now.”

Amber: “Oh but mom I dont even have school tomorrow! Im so into this game.”

Violet: “The game will be here tomorrow, and you also dont have school because you’re coming to our wedding! Its a big day for all of us. Aren’t you gonna get up early to help grandpa make the cake anyways?”

Amber: “Whatever, im going to bed!”

Chris: “I dont have to go to bed, do I?”

Violet: “Oh you’re coming with me.”

Amber: “Today’s the day, you guys! Its my day, the most important day in the world.”

Chris: “Alright, dont get cocky now. Violet, you good?”

Violet: “Wha-? Oh, yeah. Im good.”

Violet decided to give birth the same day she moved back into her childhood home lol!! 

So here she is, baby Amber.

Amber: “Thanks Mom! Hey, can I ask you something?”

Violet: “What about?”

Amber: “... nevermind its not important.”
