Sculpture de parc, le Capitole, allée couverte et son plafond bien en couleur, canal le long de la Garonne, et le Pont Neuf de loin et le pont St-Pierre coloré et piéton. Cloître du couvent des Jacobins.

Musée des Abattoirs: expo de Giacometi et ses loooooongs personnages. Expo nature et musée Paul-Dupuys: expo de Maxime Leroy qui se spécialise dans la création d’œuvre en plume. Il était DA plumassier au Moulin rouge et a travaillé chez Dior😍

Tout au long du mois d'avril, cette séquence de portraits explorant un peu plus l’IA générative est l'ébauche d'un projet qui verra le jour en fin d'année, ou en début d'année prochaine. D'ici-là il va me falloir construire le décor d'une cabine Photomaton. Je pourrais alors utiliser un véritable boitier photographique (promis) et proposer une série de portraits, ou à l'envie, d'autoportraits, qui seront le support de courtes, voire de très courtes biographies fictives, peu ou prou farfelues.

Dior’s haute couture collection is a waltz between simplicity and luxury.

Jennifer Lopez and Venus Williams were celebrity attendees for the powerfully beautiful show. Dior’s creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, perfectly balanced simplicity and opulence in the brand’s haute couture autumn-winter 2024-25 collection. Held in the gardens of the Musée Rodin in Paris, the show explored the power of basics, studying deceptive fabrics and sober palettes. Chiuri set out to trace a direct line from the ancient Grecian draped peplos through the liberating fashion of the 1920s to the active lives of women today. Grecian sandals and metallic fringe were rife on the Dior runway (Vianney Le Caer/AP) The collection was embellished in gladiator accents, recalling Greece's golden age. The models embodied latter-day goddesses draped and dripping in monochrome shimmers. The body remained at the core of every garment. Chiuri allowed humble fabrics to drape and fall around the frame, often revealing embellished bodysuits and bodices beneath – a subtle nod to the outstanding strength women have historically harbored within. Gold moiré and dazzling silhouettes saturated the collection (Vianney Le Caer/AP) Accents of athleticism were marked by the proliferation of bodysuits, which were illuminated in mirrored embroidery for eye-catching impact. A particular standout exhibited an embellished bodysuit in a plume of dazzling gilded feathers, a tribute to the savoir-faire of the Parisian plumassier craft. An athletic gold feathered bodysuit stole the show (Vianney Le Caer/AP) Dior’s daywear was softer, arriving in cape silhouettes, cut-out details, and drape-front trousers. Chiuri fused draping with straight-sewn pleats to create extremely fluid and organic lines, contradicting the precision of the garment’s assembly. Draped formal wear and excess ribbons reigned supreme (Vianney Le Caer/AP) The use of fringe emphasized the fluid and frantic nature of the collection, epitomizing the femininity of movement as gowns swished and shimmered with every step. Homage to the roaring Twenties was made in the form of neutral flapper fringing (Vianney Le Caer/AP) Chiuri once again favored the watery moiré textile as the statement textured fabric. Other fabrics possessed an alluring sense of ambiguity, with rich velvets and substantial jerseys bearing the hallmarks of a plush weighted satin used to sculpt skirts and gape necklines.
