Hello! I'll do a quick lil reintroduction here! My name's Sable, I knew about whump from lj days but only recently joined the community in fall 2019, and now I'm here! Most of what I read and write is lady whump...I can whump a dude sometimes 🤷‍♀️ but I'm here for the women. Some of my favorite tropes/themes include team whump, captivity, manhandling, beatings, noncon, power dynamics. I dig a whumper who is completely assured in their control of the situation, and a whumpee who seems "weak" but has a strong inner resilience and takes small moments of victory where they can. You will see me talk a LOT about mean man vs. quietly defiant lady, my bread and butter.

Most of the stuff I write is Out Unseen, a whump series about a ragtag group of underdogs vs. a rich and powerful mean man in a vague fantasy world. The main chaptered storyline is pretty nsfw, but outside of that there's a lot of drabbles and oneshots anyone can read just exploring the characters in different fun whump scenarios! I also wrote a series for whumptober last year about a lady getting held hostage, with some fun twists and turns along the way. Check out my writing if it sounds like something you'd be into!

I love meeting new friends in the community, so please come say hi! I am one of the three people running this event and I really enjoy it because it's such a fun way to explore parts of the community I'm less familiar with and meet new people. It makes me happy seeing everyone interacting and having a nice time together 🥰 Feel free to come chat any time!
