The girl (Kat voice) hurled up in the world/living on the highest shelf is Anne. While Anne isn't particularly rich (Thats Anna's job) she is very social, extroverted, and out there, I hope you get what I mean. She's up and out, Cathy is running and wants to (Another Kat voice) have a connection with Anne.

The singer seems very shy (and quite frankly is) but as the song goes on they get more "louder" and by the time the Michelle Pfeiffer line comes on their belting it out. Very Cathy Parr. The song is very... DHMIS, it has moments where its a bit foggy and vague and maybe even child-like "All my friend ares turning green; your the magician's assistant in their dreams". I just think it's just so dorky and something that the 2 of them would come up with with. I mean at first I didn't exactly get what the chorus was going on about; I still really don't and thats completely fine. The song is just so child like, chill, full of passion I can't really put into words, and fun to both sing and play. I will repeat this again: it's dorky. So dorky. So very... so very them. Riptide is one of the most over played songs on ukelele (as a uke player myself) and the chord progression is Am, G, C, C. It's simple, and it's amazing. The song has this energy that I can confidently describe as "a loving dork has a crush", which also happens to be how I describe Parrlyn.

Miles to Go Before I Sleep- A PJO Fanfiction

I couldn't sleep that night. I paced the room for two hours until late night as if there was something terrible was going to happen. I was worried sick--about Annabeth, about the war, about everything. At midnight, moonlight streamed through the hotel window as I sat, almost lifelessly on the bed, staring into nothing. Suddenly, I heard a creak in the door, and I was about to snatch riptide before I heard a whisper, "Percy? You awake?"

In the shadows, I saw the familiar figure of Grover, tired after a long day of attending to the satyrs. He sat down next to me on the bed, and we both stared at the wall in comfortable silence. For a moment, I could almost close my eyes and imagine that we were 12 year olds at Yancy again. "The Apollo kids are seeing you through the hotel surveillance cameras. They sent me to ask you to sleep" "Since you're the only one right now who I'll listen to?" ".....yep"

While Grover rambled something about him being my unofficial mom right now, I looked at my bedside table, and there it was. Pandora's Jar. Man, I wished the stupid thing would stop following me around, and right now, it wasn't the best time for me to want to resist opening it. Unfortunately, Grover read my emotions. "You want to open it, don't you?"

The question, which had always been on the back of my mind, really stung now that it was said out loud. I think Grover could see I was breaking down a little on the inside, and wrapped me in an awkward hug. "I-I do," it came spilling out of my mouth, my voice cracking. "It just feels like the Fates are giving me an opportunity instead of a challenge. I feel like everything around me is falling apart. I'm not good at handling war. If I give up to Kronos, he'd kill me, as long as I'd make him promise he wouldn't hurt you guys. It's just easier. It's better for everyone else" My eyes felt wet, and I pulled away quickly. Grover looked so lost, I immediately felt bad for making him worry about me. "Go to sleep, Percy," he said in a painful tone, as if I was a delusional grandpa who had gotten loose from the nursing home bed. Before I could say anything, he pulled out his reedpipes. Before I could protest, he started playing soft, sweet music and before I knew it, I was asleep.

In my dream, I was sitting with Annabeth in the strawberry field, while she had a book in her lap. Annabeth was smiling, her hair glinting in the sunlight. She was okay. We were okay. It was a sunny day and all the campers were having fun. I remembered this day; this conversation had happened two months before the war. Woah. That felt so far away.

"I finally found the greek version of this poem!" she said excited, her eyes sparkling, which gave me butterflies. "This poem is really famous for the last four lines, wait-wait, I'll read it out to you" She picked it up. "So the English version of these lines are: "The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep" I bumped her shoulder with mine. "Ok, nerd...what's the point?"

She rolled her eyes, but she was smiling. "It basically means that the poet wanted to die and found death a beautiful easy way out, but he realised he still had a duty in his life and that he still had a long way before his time to go, isn't that so poetic?" "I guess. You're better at this than me"

This didn't happen that day, but she opened her arms, as if about to hug me, probably due to Grover's magical reedpipe music, and for a second I felt elated that life felt livable again, before the ground opened up before she could, and I fell into endless darkness.

I woke up, shaking. I felt like I had been given a sweater in the cold before it got snatched away, leaving me back in the freezing winter. Grover was gone. I wanted to go back to sleep. I wanted things to be alright again. I wanted to see Annabeth happy and nerdy as usual and hug her. But sunlight streamed in through the window, and I forced myself out of the bed and went up the stairs to where Annabeth was.

When I walked up to her in the chair, my heart broke again. She looked so different from the dream. Her eyes were weakly staring at the view, she was shivering and her face was still a little gray. "Hey" she said. I checked up on her, talking to her about her health, which was slowly getting better, thankfully, but it didn't stop me from feeling guilty.

As I stared at her hopelessly, Pandora's Jar appeared on the table next to her. Annabeth studied my face. "We should put it in a place where it stays there"

I nodded my head in agreement. I took the jar gingerly in my hands. I looked out into the view from above. The whole city was in my sight. I saw demigods rebuilding the mortal's homes, some of which were damaged after the day's fight. I saw Nico rejoining a skeleton from his army's bones, with Will hovering curiously from a distance. "Is that a coccyx ?" "Gesundheit" If I died, he'd be the prophecy kid. I saw two tired aphrodite girls staring at a broken mirror, as if wondering where their life (and skin) started to break. I needed to keep them going. I needed to survive, I couldn't let them down. I needed to give them what they were fighting for. They were fighting for me. All my depression would have to wait for another day.

"It must be annoying," Annabeth said. "Don't you ever just want to open it?"

"Nah," I gave her my bravest smile, as I carried the jar to the door, where I would give it to be locked in a storage locker in the hotel. "I have promises to keep; and miles to go before I sleep"

“Michael the Bloodline is awaiting their partner. Who is this mysterious diva” Wade Barrett shouted into the mic an intrigued tone filling his voice. Just when Michael was going to speak music blasted through the arena. Who was partnering with the Bloodline?

“It’s the newbie making her debut tonight, it’s Y/R/N! Why would they put her with the Bloodline?” Michael Cole asked with a tone of confusion in his voice. Y/N did her entrance and ran down the ramp toward the ring. She got into the ring and she saw Judgement Day and she saw her boyfriend Finn Bálor. The bell rang and everyone started fighting. Rhea was about to hit Jey with the Riptide when Y/N tagged Jey in and started attacking Rhea. Y/N caught Rhea off guard by super-kicking her and hitting her with the Riptide.

“OMG! NO FUCKING WAY! Y/R/N JUST HIT RHEA RIPLEY WITH HER OWN DAMN MOVE! THE RIPTIDE!!” Michael and Wade shouted into their mics with excitement and joy. Y/N went for the pin. 1, 2, 3…. Y/N did it. Y/N won her debut match against the Women’s World Champion. Y/N crouched down to a hurt Rhea Ripley in the ring and she softly whispered “Sorry girl.” Then she hopped out of the ring with a smile on her face. The fans cheered her on her way back to Gorilla. 

“Hello everyone! I’m Kayla Braxton and right now I’m joined by the newbie who killed it in her debut match Y/R/N! Welcome, so we just watched you do an incredible job in your debut match and you pinned the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley! Tell us how you feel! How was it?” Kayla asked. “Well if I’m being honest Kayla, I feel amazing. I loved it. I love feeling the rush of being in the ring, especially with people like the Usos and Rhea Ripley. I’m glad my debut was successful. I love the energy of the fans.” Y/N spoke feeling every single emotion ooze throughout her body. “And cut! I used to be an independent wrestler but I’ve never wrestled for WWE so yea today was my debut match.” Y/N explained flashing a smile. They stopped listening cause they were looking at Y/N’s icy blue eyes as if they were getting lost in them instantly.

“We wanted to know if you wanted to come to dinner with us so we can celebrate our win and congratulate you on your debut match if that’s alright with you?” Sami asked flashing a smile. “To celebrate? No one naturally asks me to celebrate with them 'cause it’s more of a personal thing for them.” Y/N whispered softly. “Maybe we could even call our little get-together a date, 'cause you’re really pretty… well that’s if you’re not seeing anyone at the moment!” Jimmy said as panic rushed across his face like the blood rushes through his veins. Y/N lightly punched them all in their arms. “Sorry guys, I’m gonna have to take a rain check. I’m seeing someone but some other time works. I gotta go.” She left and the guys backed off.

~Time skip 3 weeks after her debut where she catches Finn cheating~

Y/N had woken up in the guest bedroom with all of her stuff packed but she didn’t know why. She got up and took a shower before going to her room to ask Finn why her stuff was in the guest bedroom when she walked in on Finn and Rhea making love. Angry she packed her clothes and everything she needed and stormed out of the house. She put her bags in the car and drove to the arena cause she needs to talk to Stephanie. Once at the arena she gets out and grabs her wrestling bag and goes into the arena pissed off.

She sees Sami and he says “Oh hey Y/N! How are you doing?” Y/N doesn’t answer and walks past Sami shoving him and goes to Stephanie’s office. Once out of Stephanie’s office, she goes to a vacant locker room, and when she sees Finn she attacks him backstage in Gorilla. She screams at him “You’re a piece of fucking shit. I hope you enjoy Rhea ‘Bloody’ Ripley. Give her this.” She takes off the promise ring and steps on it. Breaking it under her foot. Y/N gets pulled off of Finn by Rhea. Rhea wants to face her and Y/N accepts. Y/N goes to her locker room when she hears a knock on her door.

She opens it to see Jey, Jimmy, Sami, and Solo. She motions for them to come in and she gives Sami some ice and says “Sorry for the shove. Why are you here?” Y/N asked in a bitchy heel tone. Sami says “We came to check on you. Are you ok?” He asked concerned about her. Y/N says “I’ve never been better baby. Now if you guys don’t mind I have to get ready for a match you guys aren’t the only ones to witness the craziness that’s about to happen. You guys are staying with me at ringside. Now can you guys please leave I have to finish getting ready. Oh, you four are finally getting your date. I’m single now.” Smiles grew on their faces as they left. When Y/N was done she went to the ring and she unleashed the monster that Finn had just created.

Once she won the match. She did her interview and she explained that Finn cheated on her and created this monster that was waiting to be unleashed. The guys grew furious finding out the news but Y/N told them don’t worry about Judgement Day. The guys took Y/N on a date to celebrate and they got to know her a little bit better. She drove to their house in her car and they all relaxed watching TV. Y/N said “I haven’t had that much fun in a long time. I really enjoyed myself. I want a second date. We should do this all the time!!” Solo smirked and started grinning he said “Yea. Maybe we’ll get showered with kisses on the second date!” which made Y/N laugh and she punched him softly in his chest.

I surprisingly don't have, like, that many drawing of life series Scott. I really should draw him more.

I don't love how everyone is scared to be creative w/ him and defaults to elf if not directed otherwise. I love creature boys but it's so hard for me to decide on what I want him to be. He's just like,, a little fluffy guy.. put some fluff on his ears, on his chest maybe. He has hoofs in third life like a cow, or a deer (though that's just for me because I love deer Scott so much). I genuinely don't have anything to say for last life and double life, never paid much attention to them (I hardly remember last life + didn't watch his pov, and straight up skipped double life while it happened and haven't gotten around to it yet)

Now limited life is a littleeee bit different:3 I love fishy Scott, so mannyyy ideas in my head for him. He's either a little small fish guy, or big shark (totally not inspired by a fanfic I read) or perhaps he's both and he becomes more shark-like when red. Me and Scooter (idk what else to call you lol) talked about him plenty. He's like fully fish to me, kinda bluish skin, darker blue hair,,, think that fish guy from JRWI (I don't really listen to it, but whichever character Charlie plays). He's probably smaller than normal too, like 5'6, not tiny, but Martyns a pretty big guy too so like 👀 I have my own au and stuff that's based on meangills,,, they're so silly. I do have a somewhat recent drawing of limlife Scott like how I'm describing but he has titties so maybe another time

Secret life Scott is a silly guy, and once again another chance for size differences (I don't even have to change anything,,.., it's just impulse big,,). I think he & Limlife have slightly longer hair. Secret life's is nicely curled and Limlife's is just messy. I also don't have any idea what he is,, like he's just a guy, I don't know how to creaturfy him it's strange. He's one of those guitarists who goes "just like... Play from your heart, man..." When asked for tips, he also only knows how to play riptide on his guitar. One thing I'd like to mention is that I think their entire group goes from rock to goth when red.. I wan......... I wanna see Goths, pls plsss. Get Scott out of that ugly twink translucent coat thing and put him in a denim jacket too.

His outfits probably change a little more drastically between seasons too. I think third life is mostly the same, maybe a little baggier & softer colors. Once again no thoughts on last & double life. Scott is fish and therefore doesn't wear a shirt under his jacket (so he can show off his TITTIES!!!) and thats pretty much it. Scott is a very different in secret life too because I fucking hate his outfit, he now looks like a member of the Queens, okay?

Overtime Scott definitely starts sleeping around more. He was pretty secluded w/ Jimmy during third-life, then as he was introduced to more people during the seasons, he started having a lot more courage to flirt and get with them. He's slept with like half the server, atleast. Or at the very LEAST given them a blowjob (which he's for sure good at giving). This man went from "Oooh I love my hubby" to whoreslut supreme™.

He also changes in kinks and behavior a little: he's more shy, loving, and domestic with Jimmy during third-life. Then as it moved on he gets more adventurous, stupid fish that's happy to experiment with Martyn after being paired up with girls for two seasons, especially now that he's smaller and mmfhfnfhff definitely wants Martyn to stretch him out and play with his weird ass fish genitals. I don't think I even need to explain what happened with him and Impulse, but go read "The first offer" on ao3 (https://archiveofourown.org/works/52197727) if you want it's amazing. Scott just goes ":0 waowww another big man" & gets wrecked a lot. I can't for the life of me decide what his body is like btw, he's either skinny or chubby and it just depends on how I'm feeling that day.

Obvious Spoilers!!!

So far, I've called it The BlackSea pirates in this Chip, and Lizzie ended up getting thrown overboard, and Fin attempted to cast somesort of teleportation spell (I imagine it as him having to write the symbols down) with Arlin and Drey attempting to help him but some of the tentecals ended up messing up the spell while he was casting it forcing the spell to go wrong.

They all wake up on a large part of the broken ship washed up on an unoccupied island. They soon realize they are all aged up (the ages they are in regular riptide). They soon find an old village and discover stuff about the blacksea and stuff about the current world. They all decide to go out and search for Chip/Lizzie, Jay, and Gillion because they can sense they are alive in some divine way (I'll explain jay and gillion later). The first island they sail to is Loffinlot and meet an old woman named Cherry and decide to make themselves a new crew.

(The BlackSea Pirates) They discover that the town is cursed rather quickly and leave to find the person who cursed it. (Obviously, with Drey convincing Fin to hit all the bald men like Chip did with Gill, causing a whole bald man fight, aka The balding Part 2)

They soon find where the person lives and Fin ends up going in.

Obviously, the person is still Nikalus, except their arms and horns have a bit of a galaxy design to it (similar to Aaravos from the dragonprince). Fin makes a deal with him to get rid of the curse, and when they go to leave, it turns out the boat had holes in it so they stayed for longer.

Cherry ends up joining their crew so they can discover new types of fruits in honor of their husband who went missing and persumed dead. (Eral)

Stuff happens, and they end up having more people join their crew, and Fin finds a bluebird, which they later discover to be Edyn, who was cursed after Gillion went missing and was assumed to be someone to help him 'escape' the Undersea.

BlackSea Pirate Crew:

Cherry in replace of Eral.

House in replace of Alphonze. (A good version of the Casino Ai from when ranboo was a guest)

Kira in replace of Gryffon.

Ella in replace of Ollie.

Malice In replace of Queen.

Ik Malice made a deal with Nikalus and stuff, but I am going to say in this AU They found a way to help the island without killing her and Ella ends up going with the crew becuase her son (Ollie) ended up going missing.

Ava ends up surviving and starts her own pirate crew called The DuskStar Pirates, and a few other Ex-Navy are a part of it.

For the regular Riptide crew, I imagine that Jay was with her dad, who was showing her how to track ships and stuff when the Blacksea happened and for Gill I imagine he was being brought out to kill his first Human.

Chip and Lizzie end up getting separated, and the first person Chip finds is Jay and the second person being Gill. They all end up growing up together and bonding very well (with obvious Angst). Gryffon ends up never leaving and meets Alphonze and Queen.

When they meet, Queen still doesn't remember their past, and Alphonse was a robot that malfunctioned and thrown away, which somehow drifted into the blacksea. Eral also ended up in the Blacksea when he went to trade types of oranges before getting wrapped into the whole thing. Meanwhile, the reason Ollie ended up in the blacksea is because he accidently stowed away on Marshal johns Ship (Hes still Ex Navy) and they ended up accidentally going into the blacksea while being chased by Navy, Ollie gets stuck in a part of the Blacksea where The Riptide Pirates are and joining them for a short-time while John meets Lizzie who met Caspian and a few other characters from their crew.

I thought of this in the shower and decided to share it because I thought it would be a good inspiration for Jrwi fic writers / Fanartist. 👍

oh dude holy fucking shit . so. u know i have been posting about jrwi it has been my main thing since like november. well. in case u do not know. its a dnd podcast run by charlie slimecicle, grizzlyplays, condifiction and bizly. their main campaign is called Riptide and its the one with the fish guy and all the pirates. WELL. they have a patreon and on their patreon they sometimes do mini campaigns! let me preface this by saying i have never even REMOTELY had an interest in paying for ANYTHING on patreon only because i fuckinf hate subscription payments and also im usually hesitant about paying money for fandom things especially in the content creator sphere etc etc you know how it is . HOWEVER. god their pther campaigns are so fucking worth it dude. the long running secondary main campaign thats been going along around the same time as riptide is called Prime Defenders and its a superhero themed one! i am just at the beginning of season 2 rn its so good william wisp my absolute beloved. (something else rlly cool is that they rotate being the dm for each of the campaigns and i think that makes each of them really fresh and unique bc everyone has a different dm style and a different way of telling a story. god i fucking love dnd and collaborative storytellint its incredible)

ANYWAY IM GRTTING SIDETRACKED. so during hiatuses from riptide and pd they sometimes run limited campaigns that only go for a handful of epsiodes. one of this is. regrettably. called the Suckening. its run using the vampires: masquerade ttrpg setup and ruleset which is. obviously. centered around vampires. CHARLIE SLIMECICLE is the dm and i fucking love it because god that man has a mind for horror. (he also ran blood in the bayou which was a 4-epispde mini campaign using call of cthulu and ive listened to it like 3 times now bc its got nasty bug body horror in it hooooly shit its so good) ANYWAY. um . its not *as* homoerotic as the fanart makes it out to be. just a warning. but there is a scene where two homies drink each others blood (one is a human one is a vampire. theres this think in the masquerade called blood bonding and its like. if you get a human to drink your blood on three separate occasions they become your servant basically. really homoerotic stuff in theory) and when the vampire is scolded for it he goes "well he already loves me. hes my boy" and they generally have that dynamic going on. fizzfangs i lvoe you.

ANYWAY UHHHHH. the first ... four? five? episodes are up for free on YouTube and theyve got a fun little visual novel style to them with the official character art :] heres a link 2 the first ep!!

My Thoughts on Retinal Bloom!

I finally listened to Liz Lehmans new album after eagerly waiting for it for so long, I listened to it twice actually. And I'm gonna talk about what I thought about it because wow,I have a lot to say on this album.

To start off, I loved it,like I really really enjoyed listening to it. When Liz released magic hat early back in March (I think) I was immediately sold on their new project.

But what I noticed when listening to it and seeing what the album cover looked like,I knew this was going to be way more different from their past works, admittedly, I couldn't help but be conflicted about it after being so used to the synthpop/bedroom pop music they made, but I couldn't help but admire that they were going to be more aesthetically experimental with their music and I was on board none the less, also magic hat was a banger, and it was a new tsj album, you know I was gonna by hyped no matter what. I followed the release to retinal bloom so closely for a while, listening to the early releases of the songs of the album and reading the articles they premiered in.

And I honestly wished I pre-ordered the vinyl and cassette tapes,cause my excitement for the album was So worth it, hands down.

For starters, the world ethereal comes to mind when listening to this album, it has such a spacey and dreamy feel to it unlike any other tsj album which had a more child-like,nostalgic and zestful feel to it, Since Liz was going for a more psychedelic pop kind of direction with their album. And with this album also being said to be more personal, dealing with liz's struggles and their experiences with the real world, it also has a more darker and even dreadful tone, especially once you get to "forever in you" . I really like how the melodies are more mellow and melodic, like with how "riptide" has this fluid harmony to it that I can't properly describe. I also noticed that the lyrics are more poetic than their past works, usually they would be more of a combination of being metaphorical and literal, with Burn Pygmalion straight up having a narrative involving the relationship of Jeanie and Sylvia. It kinda makes alot of sense with the overall sound of retinal bloom being more abstract, and I really love that.

In terms of the songs,I have plenty of favorites, a few even stood out to me even.

Magic hat is just amazing, Uzumaki is really good, riptide is memorable, our murderous decent is a bop, forever in you is literally in my top 10 of favorite tsj songs of all time,liz has the voice of an angel, rage is weirdly comforting and retreat to celestial bodies... that.. that is the song that stood out to me most in RB, unlike every other song in the album, its only an instrumental, no lyrics, and it polarizes you and the song has a moody,noisy and even slightly depressing tone to it, and when combined with the rest of the album, it gives of this feeling of dread and lonliness, but in an oddly comforting way as the song slowly and quietly ends, its kind of my #1 favorite song in this album.

The few complaints I have (which are not much tbh) is that some songs feel like they go on for a little too long and while I do like pathogenesis, it is my least favorite, it's not a bad song by any means,it's a good song, but I feel like the melody can get a bit meandery in some parts.

But overall,i loved retinal bloom, its a genuinely great album and while I do perfer the older tsj albums,it's mainly due to preference and well I have listened to those albums so many times and got attached to them eeeeee. That aside, I'm would like to thank Liz lehman (and even Angel Marcloid)for making this lovely album, their work has meant so much to me and helped me go through the darkest moments of my life and if you haven't listened to retinal bloom yourself pls do.

TLDR: retinal bloom is a great album and I really wish I pre-ordered it and I'm upset at myself for not doing so sooner
