Sometimes I read "Seb would never..." about something Max has done and realize people Really think Seb was the same bee-loving, chill guy all his career. I'd even posit that Seb could be worse than Max at times, frankly; Max just had worse narratives around him because of being Vs Lewis in 2021 and sort of Vs Daniel in DTS, so the portrayal pf him is very poor.

I desire fanfics out there where the government specifically targets the micronations cause they aren't nations but they aren't people either. Also, it would make more sense cause you'd notice a nation go missing pretty fast vs if a micronation goes missing. Only other micronations or people in close/constant contact with that micronation will notice their disappearance and even then, would any of the nations actually care? Probably not lol You have the perfect test subjects. They are so much different from their nation counterpart too like, what do you mean you're a man-made fort in the middle of the ocean? What do you mean you spawned from a driveway dispute?

NIKO NIKO WOULD BE SUCH A TARGET BECAUSE OF HOW HE WAS A HUMAN THAT BECAME A MICRONATION BEFORE GIVING UP HIS NATION STATUS AND BECOMING HUMAN AGAIN It gives the government or scientists more wiggle room to try to create their own micronations or even become some for the sake of immortality and whatever. Then they can work on going after the nations from there.

A while ago, I saw a SS fan talk about how "if you have to change the character's personality to fit your ship, then it probably sucks" or smth.

I clicked on the SS tag, scrolled for like, five mins, bombarded with posts along the lines of... ahem. "SS own the she-fell-first-he-fell-harder trope", "Love it when one's a badass powerful woman and the man who worships the ground she walks on", an incorrect quotes post that had Karin telling Sasuke that Sakura is way too good for him and Sasuke nodding and saying "I know", and another one that ended with Sasuke taking his cape back (after having given it to Sakura because she wore a tight dress), smelling it and thinking "it smells like her, I hope the party ends soon".

hi, i’m the anon who asked recs for books w/ actual plot and side characters a while ago. i just wanted to thank you for taking the time and effort for writing so detailed answer! i had actually read dark rise and capri already and esp dark rise is one of my faves so you def got what i was looking for. i had ignored earlier the wolf series by adhara but i read it now and as you said it’s actually way better than what you’d expect. i'll check the one by tj klune next. so kinda like to return to the favor, have you read the memento mori series by cs poe? i thought you might like it: a gay detective with a memory condition ranging somewhere between a disability and a superpower teams up with a forensic artist to solve decades old cold cases in new york city (i.e. slow-burn mm romance, strong neurodivergence vibes, well-written mysteries, cool history stuff)

i'm so happy you came back! and that some of the recs have worked for you. that wolf series is so interesting cos it's really oh wait there's a hidden plot here haha. i didn't love all the books equally tbh with you, but that first one in particular really sucked me in. the tj klune one is a pretty different vibe, but it made me laugh a ton so if you're looking for something light-hearted or to cheer you up it's a great next choice! and hopefully some of the others i mentioned will scratch that itch for you.
