Lewis telling Max he’s gonna stay with family being the reason he runs away tho😭

Like Max doesn’t get that Lewis is gonna come back after the races…he just thinks that he’s leaving him and that he doesn’t want him anymore🥺Lewis would die seeing his pup in the nest tho, face literally full of tears cause he was crying so much

Pllss Max being so confused cos he has come along to most races and doesn't understand why he can't go to these? Maybe it was Leais trying to lighten the travel schedule for him cos double/triple headers are tough and the weather is too warm for Maxy. But Max misunderstands the reasoning and thinks Lewks doesn't want him anymore and quickly runs to Kimi's house before Lewis can bring him back to the orphanage.

Lewis arriving to ask Kimi to help looking for Max and Kimi just quietly showing him the nest Tonio is sitting next to, which has a very teary Max hidden within the soft blankets...

Lewis crying too and gently scooping his boy out, hugging him tight and murmuring he was so scared and though he had lost Max, and Max just gets more confused cos Lewisnwanted to get rid of him, right? But Lewis gently holds him and explains why Max can't come along and that grandpa Anthony would love to have him visit!

Max still doesn't like the fact he will be apart from Lewis for so long, but more pups don't join so at least he gets to have psck playdates, and ofc he calls Lewis like twice a day!
