They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Some pictures, however, are worth at least a million. I’m talking about the iconic pictures that nearly everyone recognizes and that will forever be etched into our shared history. Even though these historical photos might be known by all, far from everyone knows about the superstar photographers who took them. Even less know about the film photography cameras they used to capture history in the making. Buckle up, amigos, you’re about to become photography buffs!

Rencontre-visite avec le Relais Petite Enfance et Vacances et Famille 29
Mardi 18 avril - Merci à Florence Gaumerais et Cathy Quiniou de nous avoir accueilli dans leurs locaux ! Les deux structures se partagent des bureaux et une salle de motricité au rez-de-chaussée du batiment Jean-Bart (entrée B1). Très mobiles, elles rayonnent sur le territoire des communautés de communes de Chateaulin-Pleyben-Porzay et du Mont d'Arrée. Elles mènent aussi des ateliers avec la crèche Bulle d'Eveil et le centre social Polysonnance. La présence à Quimill de ces acteurs et leurs interactions sont à renforcer dans le futur projet de réhabilitation !

09-09-2020 Giorno 05 QUIMPER - PLEYBEN - CAMARET – PENHIR - LOCRONAN – QUIMPER (154km)
Sveglia alle 07.30. Colazione. Oggi giornata di escursione quindi niente valigia al seguito, che bello. In 5' alle 09.00 siamo “nel centro storico di Quimper, con la Cattedrale gotica di St. Corentin e le antiche case a graticcio.” Nel poco tempo libero raggiungiamo, passando dall'Hotel de Ville, i Bastioni di Place de la Tourbie e scendiamo fino alla Eglise St. Mathieu. Alle 10.32 ci spostiamo a Pleyben, dove siamo alle 11.10. “Pleyben ospita uno dei più importanti recinti parrocchiali della regione con un monumentale Calvario e la Chiesa di Saint Germain.” Alle 11.49 “proseguiamo per il villaggio di pescatori di Camaret”, dove arriviamo alle 12.50. Qui possiamo scegliere tra il pranzo libero o quello facoltativo tipicamente bretone a base di frutti di mare e ostriche (€35.00). Noi ci accontentiamo della nostra mezza baguette (€3.80) e sfruttiamo il tempo rimanente per visitare la stretta diga naturale di Sillon, che protegge il porto, con il Cimitero delle Barche, la Chapelle de Notre-Dame-de-Rocamadour e la Tour Vaunan. In 5' alle 15.10 “facciamo una sosta sullo spettacolare promontorio di Penhir.” Rocce scoscese a picco sul mare blu, magnifico. Alle 15.46 proseguiamo per il pittoresco villaggio con case in granito di Locronan” dove arriviamo alle 16.50. Entrati da Rue du Prieuré si arriva presto a Place de l'Eglise, la piazza centrale sulla quale si affaccia l'Eglise de Saint-Ronan. Giriamo intorno al quartiere percorrendo Rue des Charrettes salendo verso il Musee d'Art et d'Historie fino a Rue du Four e Place de la Mairie. Siamo di nuovo su Place de l'Eglise. Ci inoltriamo in Vanelle Toul Prichen, una strada chiusa. Tornati indietro rientriamo al pullman da Rue Lann. E' già ora di tornare a Quimper sono le 17.55. Arriviamo alle 18.26. Alle 20.00 ottima cena in un ristorante fuori l'hotel dove siamo gli unici riveriti ospiti. Rientro alle 21.45, letto alle 23.15.
