"Oh my goodness, folks!" I exclaimed as I lay on my stomach, propping up my head with my hands under my chin, a smile on my face. "Have you all heard Itzy's new song? 'Ringo' is absolutely amazing!!" I said as I sat up again.

"I'll play it for those of you who haven't heard it yet. But don't expect me to dance; I'm not really feeling it right now. I've got some serious muscle soreness from hitting the gym yesterday, and, goodness..." I added with a light laugh. I clicked around on my computer and connected it to Alexa. "Anyway, I won't talk too much; I'll just play the song. Here, I'll even put the English lyrics on screen for you," I said as I turned the camera around, pointing it at my computer.

I started playing Itzy's video, but unfortunately, an ad popped up. My eyes rolled immediately. "Why does YouTube always seem to know when you're excited and just want to watch a video? And we can't even skip it," I said, laughing lightly. I looked at the ad; it seemed to be a trailer for a new movie. "Hey... that looks cool. What movie is that?" I asked as I looked at the title.

My eyes scanned through the comments, but I quickly returned my attention to the video as it began to play. The lyrics were displayed in three languages. I loved it, especially since I didn't understand Japanese at all. Yeji had tried to teach me some, but my Japanese was limited to the anime I watched.

The video played, and I had my mouth slightly open as I immersed myself in the lyrics. When the song finished, I turned the camera back towards me and propped my phone up against the screen, which I had turned off beforehand. I looked into the camera again, wearing a smile.

"You all probably know what a fangirl I am. Mamamoo is my number one and I think they'll always be. But Itzy? Itzy and Newjeans, oh boy... I love their music sooo much, you can't even imagine," I said, laughing lightly, as I raised my arms to adjust the small ponytail I had on.

The shirt I was wearing, with a few buttons undone, revealing a hint of my neckline, was in my favorite color: green. I had on knee-length black shorts and socks. My window was wide open as it was pretty warm.

"Which group is your favorite? I'd love to know more about you," I said with a smile on my face. My eyes went back to the comments as I fell silent to read each one carefully.

Sighing, I put on a smile, but then I suddenly received a private message. I read it immediately since it was displayed to me briefly. I chuckled with amusement.

Yeji (10:19): Close the buttons!

I grinned at the camera as I glanced briefly at my neckline. So, Yeji was watching my live stream? She seemed to be the only one who had noticed. Not even the comments were of a sexual nature, so why did it bother her?

I cleared my throat to avoid grinning too much. "Well then, folks. Take a guess at who's watching my live right now? Let's see how many people get it right," I said with a light laugh, my grin growing wider. I adjusted my collar with my hand.

Yeji (10:20): You really want the shippers to go crazy, huh?

Laughing, I glanced at the comments. "Well, I'll leave that to your imagination," I said as I picked up my phone. "That's it for my live. Thank you for tuning in," I waved to the camera and then ended my live stream. I let out a sigh and immediately opened a private chat with Yeji.

Smiling, I called the older woman, and she answered promptly. I could see her with her red hair, seemingly cleaning her apartment. I grinned and said, "Good day, Hwang Yeji," with a light laugh as I gazed into her beautiful eyes on the screen. Yeji laughed a bit, "Y/n, are you really trying to get me in trouble?"

I chuckled softly, "Why do you say that?" I asked as I got up from my gaming chair and held my phone in my hand. "Can you please button up your shirt?" Yeji requested, which made me pause for a moment. I looked at her through the screen. Her request had taken me by surprise. I let out a small laugh and shrugged.

She looked at me with a puzzled expression as I laughed, "Why? I'm about to take a shower, and I have something else to do afterward," I replied with a shrug. This time, I had waterproof headphones on since I knew I had to shower. Yeji's eyes widened a bit, and she asked, "Wait... you want to talk to me while you're in the shower?" Her question made me chuckle.

I shrugged my shoulders again, "Why not? We haven't talked in a while, and you've been so busy, just like me. I kind of miss your voice," I said as I placed my phone on the sink. I could only faintly make out Yeji blushing.

"Okay," she replied softly. I slowly undressed, and I chuckled, "What's wrong? Have you never seen another woman naked?" I teased, laughing. "Don't worry, I won't show myself," I added as I stepped into the shower and turned on the water.

"Do you do this often?" Yeji asked, causing my forehead to furrow slightly. She couldn't see me, just as I couldn't see her. "What do you mean?" I asked as I sprayed some shampoo into my hand to wash my hair. "I meant... uh... showering," she clarified.

I stopped my movements in surprise. I pushed the shower curtain aside a bit and stuck my head out so Yeji could see me. I looked quite bewildered and speechless, which seemed to make Yeji even more nervous. She suddenly burst into laughter. "N-No, I meant... uh... showering and talking on the phone at the same time," she corrected herself, making me laugh too.

"I was about to say. Do you think I'm so dirty that I hardly ever shower?" I asked, laughing. Yeji seemed to look to the side. Her whole face turned red. I couldn't help but smile as I continued to shower. Yeji cleared her throat, "No, it's my first time, to be honest. But Hanni or Yuna are often in the bathroom with me when I shower. Maybe that's why it doesn't feel any different for me right now," i explained, finally answering her question.

"Wait... so... they've seen you naked?" she asked, her voice an octave higher than before. I chuckled as I rinsed away the shampoo. "Yes," I replied, still chuckling as I continued to shower. Yeji didn't respond, and I couldn't move the curtain to see her at the moment.

"Yeji?" I asked after a short while. She immediately hummed to get my attention. I smiled, "Oh no, I just thought you had hung up because I couldn't hear anything," I said, which made Yeji snort with amusement. "By the way, what are you up to?" she asked, feeling a bit embarrassed.

I cleared my throat as I continued shaving, feeling somewhat embarrassed. "Um... please don't judge me," I began, which made Yeji chuckle. "Hey, I would never judge you, Y/n," she replied, making me feel more at ease. I licked my lips nervously and finally said, "Well... I'm meeting up with Yuqi from G-Idle."

I finished showering and stepped out of the shower, immediately wrapping a towel around myself after drying my hair. My eyes landed on my phone as I saw Yeji with her mouth hanging open. "A... date?" she asked, sounding surprised. I laughed awkwardly.

"N-No, well... I don't think so. We're just going out for drinks," I replied, causing Yeji's eyes to narrow. She furrowed her brow, asking, "Don't you have a crush on Ryujin?" Her shock was evident. I wiped my still-damp hair back and chuckled lightly.

"Not for a long time, Yeji. That was just a crush I had," I replied with a light laugh. However, Yeji looked visibly shocked. Her forehead creased as she pressed her lips together. I smirked slightly as I started brushing my teeth. "How did that happen?" Yeji asked, her voice a bit quieter now, her phone a bit farther away from her. I could see Yeji hugging her knees to her chest with her arms wrapped around them.

Her voice sounded really cute right now...

I spat out the toothpaste and looked into the camera. "We got to talking after we did a TikTok challenge for our latest song. Then she asked me out, and I accepted," I explained with a slight smile. Yeji nodded her head, gazing into the camera. She started to pout.

"Why... didn't you ask me?" she sighed softly. I stopped my movements and looked at my phone. I smiled a little and said, "Oh, baby, you don't really look like you can handle much right now," I said, chuckling softly. But Yeji didn't really join in on the laughter.

I stopped laughing and said, "I didn't know you'd want to come. You're probably tired from all the work. You should rest a bit," I added, which made Yeji exhale in frustration. She furrowed her brow and said, "Let me decide that, Y/n." She licked her lips and continued, "Besides, you're tired too! I see those dark circles under your eyes! And I see videos of you all the time. You seem to be working all the time!"

Somehow... she seemed angry...

I placed my phone on my bed and started getting dressed. I bit my lip, unsure of how to respond. "I'm fine," I replied, which made Yeji huff. I swallowed nervously. Was my racing heart due to not wanting Yeji to be upset?

"I'm sorry. Next time, I'll invite you, okay?" I offered, and Yeji let out a sigh. I glanced back at my phone. Fortunately, I got dressed rather quickly. I was wearing tight black jeans and a white crop top that showed a bit of cleavage. Over it, I had a shirt that I left unbuttoned. My hair was tied up in a short ponytail.

"It's not about that, Y/n... I just want to see you again. It's been weeks since we saw each other in person," Yeji pouted. A smile spread across my face. I grinned almost mischievously. "That can be arranged," I replied, causing Yeji's eyes to widen. She chuckled. "But I have to go now, Yeji," I said as I glanced at the clock.

Yeji's eyes widened. "So early?" she asked, checking the time. I laughed, "Daydrinking is the best drinking," I said with a wink, prompting Yeji to roll her eyes. She bid me farewell, and we both hung up.

I made my way to the door, where my shoes were waiting. I put on a pair of white sneakers and headed out.

First fandom you became a part of: Well this was all pre-internet, so the fandoms were all in my imagination: The Goonies & Anne of Green Gables (the PBS series) are my earliest ones. I didn’t even know who to talk to about it back then, so it was a lot of lone-fangirling in middle school.

What was the first TV show fandom you joined: OK look I had this Days of our Lives phase where I found this one message board (I haven’t watched in a LONG time, but Steve & Kayla -who are still on the show- were such a hot couple back in the day)…… and then I did the same for The Office around the time the last writers strike was happening… But my first legit modern-day fandom was probably Schitt’s Creek a couple of years ago, which was the first time I sought out community on socials like Reddit and Facebook.

A tv/movie fandom you haven’t joined but like to creep on? When Our Flag Means Death first came out, I loved all the gorgeous fan art. They really need to release season 2 already…. 

Your favourite fandom: Oh this Shameless/Gallavich fandom is VERY special. Granted I don’t have a ton of experience in online fandom spaces, but this community has been really incredible, so warm and welcoming and CREATIVE omg.  

The tv show that gives you the most brainrot? Shameless for sure (but you know, just because of that one couple). I do get that anxiety from time to time that I’ll never get brainrot like this again – it’s really fun to move around and create in this space, and I love the inspiration.

Guilty pleasure fictional couple? Very un-guiltily please see above. But I’ll always have a place in my heart for David & Patrick from Schitt’s Creek, and Jim & Pam, of course, from The Office. so, so I've been trying to gather the courage to tell you the truth 😶 I hardly know anything about Twice and Red Velvet. I do recognize the members' names only because of Tumblr...I'm pretty sure I can name all the members of Red Velvet. I kinda only follow certain kpop blogs for the photography, and Red Velvet's aesthetic is always on point. I think I've listened to at least 1 song by both groups. By appearance alone, my favorite is Seulgi (something about the way she looks at the camera), but I also think Yeri is really pretty. I cannot name a single song by either group. I sometimes listen to Blackpink (I'm a casual Rose and Jisoo fan).

Anyway, that's what I wanted to confess to you 😳 Feel free to recommend a Twice and/or Red Velvet song that you think I must listen to.

Well, I'm not also deep into Red Velvet's nor Twice's discography but I knew almost all of their Popular Songs (which is redundant but hey, they're still fun to sing and dance to).

Now that you mentioned Seulgi's Appearance, I recommend you to listen to her solo album (although I haven't yet, I'm pretty sure it's good!) but first, check out the lead or title track of that album, "28 reasons" , check its mv, I think somehow, you'll love it (even the teaser..)

But if you really want to hear first the whole group's discography, check out Red Velvet's Russian Roulette (the mv too), Psycho (with it's pretty and aesthetic music video elements that I think will suit you taste, perhaps), or Bad Boy (I think it's also beautiful in its own way). Or if you want you can also watch Red Velvet's Peek-a-boo with it's kind of dark concept in its music video.

Oh my, Can't believe I also forgot, Feel My Rhythm (with it's aesthetically pleasing vocals and music video!!)

They have a more cutesy concept back in their debut days, but they also do some dark concepts into their songs. They are quite versatile too, just check out the audio of Cry For Me by Twice, but you don't have to force yourself, step by step, you can try watching little by little of their songs, to find what's to your liking..

KINKTOBER 2021 MASTERLIST

“Why is pizza so good?” you ask through a mouthful of cheesiness.

Bucky smiles in enthusiastic agreement. “I don’t know but pass me another slice please doll?”

You grab one and hand it over but not before taking a bite.

“You’re so lucky I love you more than anything in the Universe,” he teases, pursing his lips.

“Yep!” you reply, popping the p. “So, what are we watching?”

“I was thinking maybe ‘The Shining’,” Bucky answers as he takes the blanket from behind you.

You don’t say anything and shove another bite of pizza in your mouth.

“Too scary baby doll?” he asks softly.

“No, no. I can do it,” you declare, finishing off the pizza and snuggling close to him.

With full stomachs and all the warm coziness of Bucky you start the movie, your fingers tightly grasping his Henley and the blanket pulled up to your eyes. The room is dark except for the flickering lights from the TV and your whole body jumps when you hear a noise behind you.

“Did you hear that?” you ask Bucky as you Koala yourself to him.

“Yea,” he says quietly, pausing the movie.

You’re both still as you listen, the sound of city below the only thing you hear until that same noise happens again.

“There it was again,” he whispers, stuffing his hand into the couch cushions to grab his knife.

He pulls it out and the streetlights illuminate the blade, giving it an eerie glow as he slowly turns. You let out a shriek as something heavy drops into your lap but quickly realize it’s Alpine when his fluffy white tail bats you in the face.

“OMG YOU LITTLE SHIT!” you scream.

Bucky falls over with laughter, his whole body shaking as he points at the two of you, Alpine looking horrified at your loudness and you looking completely vengeful at the cat.

“You knew it was him all along didn’t you Barnes?” you gasp, picking up Alpine and plopping him on the floor. “I cannot believe you! You’re a GIANT SHIT!”

Bucky only laughs harder as he twirls the knife through his fingers and makes it disappear again.

“Aw baby doll! Come ‘ere,” he coos, holding his arms open.

You cross your own over your chest and kick at him with your feet.

“NO!” you pout then turn to Alpine who is sitting atop the coffee table looking smug and stick your tongue out.

Bucky smirks and restarts the movie. You sink down into the couch cushions and try to be brave but with every passing minute you scoot closer to Bucky and the safety of his arms. When you’re close enough for him to grab you he takes you in his arms and puts you in his lap, wrapping you in the blanket and himself.

You nuzzle into his shoulder and let out a sigh of relief.

“I’m sorry you got scared baby girl,” he murmurs, brushing his fingertips down your arm.

“It’s ok, I feel better now,” you tell him.

The movie ends and you’re sleepy. Bucky takes you in his arms and carries you to bed. He pulls off his Henley and his sweats and crawls under the covers, spooning you. You yawn in his arms, Alpine hopping up onto the bed only moments later and settling at your feet in a pile of white fluff.

“You’re so warm Buck,” you mumble, pulling his metal arm tighter around your waist.

His skin is soft but the hard planes of his muscled chest press against your back, reminding you of his strength. His lips meet your bare shoulder and he rubs his nose along your neck, breathing you in.

The light of the full moon reflects off the mirror above your dresser and the soft light shines across the sheets, bathing you in an ethereal glow. It dances off the dark metal of Bucky’s arm, illuminating its beauty and making you smile.

“I love you Bucky,” you whisper, bringing his fingers to your lips.

“Love you too baby doll,” he murmurs, tugging you closer.

When morning arrives, you bask in the warmth of Bucky’s skin and the glow of the rising sun. You stretch and let out a groan when your stomach rumbles with hunger. Alpine’s soft tail brushes along your arm as he starts to wake up and paw at you for breakfast.

“I’m hungry too buddy,” you whisper, scratching his head.

“I’m always hungry,” you hear Bucky mumble before he rolls over and pins you under him.

He starts to nibble on your ear and along your neck, your squeals of laughter making Alpine meow unhappily and jump off bed.

“I didn’t say you could eat me!” you screech, poking him hard in the sides. “BUCKYYYYYYY!”

He doesn’t let up until you’re gasping for air.

“But you’re my favorite thing to eat,” he simpers, sneaking his hands under your shirt.

“You can have me for dessert,” you promise with a wink. “First let’s make waffles.”

He reluctantly agrees and helps you up, following you to the kitchen. Once the waffles are ready and you have all the goodies situated on a tray you walk out onto the porch and settle on the swing.

The early morning air still clings to the cool chill of the fall night and Bucky throws the blanket over you both. Alpine climbs up and settles into the nook between Bucky’s legs while the two of you share breakfast and watch the world wake up, cozy in love.

Millennial Tree Cookie - So from my understanding, the world is fairly new to him. I think when he was last 'awake', it was long before humans were civilized, so I'm not sure he knows what a human is! But every form of life is almost like his own child, so he'd like to meet the human. He might be a little surprised at first, but I don't think a human would be enough to scare him. He'd enjoy talking to a friendly human, just don't tell him what humans have been doing, unless you want to break his heart :)

Wind Archer Cookie - The presence of a human in the forests of Earthbread does NOT please him. He will quickly demand that the human leaves. If the human doesn't, he won't hesitate to attack to chase them away. But if the human shows concern and good knowledge about the environment, he'll chill out... and he might even decide to help the human a little. But not too much. Tell him what humans have been doing, and he will vow to never let you leave Earthbread, fearing that you might come back with more humans...

Fire Spirit Cookie - He seems... fairly curious and fun-seeking. I think he'd like to meet a human, but probably mostly to mess with them for fun. He'll follow the human around and be a nuisance... but I think he might accidentally become attached to said human. Not that he'd ever admit it tho.

Frost Queen Cookie - Kind of like Wind Archer, a human's presence on Earthbread is a problem to her. Humans don't belong here. But she's not a killer, so she'll just try to help the human to find a way back to where they came from. She's not helping to be nice though, she's just doing what she must do.

Sea Fairy Cookie - I don't think she'd fear a human or bat an eye. The only thing that matters is the human's soul. I mean it really depends of how warm the human's heart is, probably, but in most cases, she'd take interest in the human, and ask to know their story.

Moonlight Cookie - She met the human in her dreams... she was perplexed at first, but then understood what it meant; cookies have a new ally. And that ally is not a cookie. Maybe one day she'll attempt to talk to the human, but for now, she's just happy that cookiekind has allies beyond the limits of Earthbread. It makes the outside world less scary.

Timekeeper Cookie - She's not impressed. She saw the birth of mankind and its undoing. However this is a situation she haven't seen before... humans and cookies weren't supposed to meet before MUCH later in history... This is indeed strange, and she will silently watch the shit go down, and enjoy the show.

Y/n says, looking out the windshield, not only was the rain coming down in sheets but it was nighttime. So the only light that was cutting through the darkness was his headlights.

But if this helped to calm her down, he was more than willing to listen to it.

Y/n leans back in her seat and watches out the window, resting her hand on his leg for comfort. Malakai glances at her then looks at the gps. There was a cemetery coming up within a half mile, which meant a town nearby. Continuing to drive, he searched for signs to show how far they were from a rest stop. The rain was still coming down but he was starting to see a little moonlight shining through the clouds.

When the car suddenly stops in front of the cemetery, Y/n looks over at Malakai .

“Babe? Why’d you stop?”

“The car stopped working for some reason, I don’t know why.”

He says, frowning as he turns the key and huffs.

“What the fuck?”

Smacking the steering wheel he looked around, the rain was letting up a bit and they could see the cemetery out the window. A fog was rolling through adding an even creepier vibe to it. Y/n sits up watching him and frowns.

“Why would it just stop when it’s been working fine?”

“I’m not sure it doesn’t make any sense.”

Rubbing his face they sit in silence while he continues trying to start the car.

“Fuckin hell stupid piece of shit.”

“Easy baby, we’ll figure it out. There has to be some good reason on why it suddenly stopped.” “I mean I have an idea but it’s silly and kinda dumb.”

“Can you tell me please? Maybe we can figure out if it’s the correct reason.”

“Okay so this deadeye road, not sure if you’ve heard of it before. But a lot of weird shit happens around here. Car trouble, phones not working, things like that.”

“Do they know why?”

“Well many people have died on or next to this road. And having the cemetery right along it makes everything even worse.”

“Really?”

Y/n asks, feeling her stomach drop listening to him. Malakai chuckles darkly nodding, normally she loves his laugh. This one however sent a chill down her spine.

“Yeah, I wouldn’t say that if it wasn’t true liefje. People sometimes drive so fast on this road especially when it rains that they crash. Not to mention the cemetery is filled with a couple of criminals, like bad ones. Some people from the old asylum that’s like a half mile away from here.”

He says leaning back in his seat, Y/n swallows the sudden lump in her throat as she looks out the window towards the cemetery. It was still pretty dark out and the fog made it just that more creepier. She knew it was just her mind playing tricks on her, but she could have sworn she saw a faint red glow towards the back.

“Do you think that’s what happened to the car?”

“Possibly. I mean plenty of people have said it’s happened. Well the ones who’ve managed to leave this road in one piece that is. There’s an old story I heard. If you’re driving along this road close to midnight. That you could see a man in a black cloak walking along the side of the road. It kinda looks like he’s limping. When you pull up beside him to ask if he needs help he’s just silent for a moment.”

By now Malakai  had started to drop his voice to a low mumble so y/n had to lean close to hear him. The air around them was starting to chill a little bit as she wrapped her arms around herself.

“Why would they stop?”

“To be polite. Anyway the man will start mumbling quietly, and obviously people will lean closer asking him to repeat himself. He just nods and turns to the car walking right up to the lower passenger window. He’ll rest his hand on it, letting the person see the barb wire wrapped around his wrists.

He lifts his head causing his hood to fall down and the driver is staring into this pale face, with dry blood streaks under his eyes, and empty sockets. A half stitched mouth and a scar across most of his face..

He grabs the door handle, yanks it open if it’s not locked. Then drags the person from the car and into the cemetery. There he kills them and eats their souls, some of their organs and cuts their eyes out. Trying to find the perfect replacements for his own.

Those who manage to escape, which are very few. End up seeing him in their dreams for weeks and even months afterwards.”

Y/n scoots a little closer to Malakai and huddles in the hoodie of his she borrowed.

“Do you think we’ll see him?”

“I suppose it’s possible, if you believe in the stories. We’ll just have to be- OH MY GOD THERE HE IS!”

Y/n screams looking at the window and ducking down, as Malakai  pokes her sides laughing loudly.

“You, you should have seen your face.”

He laughs loudly as she holds a hand to her chest looking around and slaps his arm.

“You absolute dickhead, that wasn’t funny!”

Music blasted as dust flowed behind you two before the tires finally made contact with the road, leading back into the city. “There’s absolutely no way” you say with a groan as you look at the guide to build a tent once more, you had been at it for at least 20 minutes while your boyfriend volunteered to get the wood for the fire

You flipped the guide book upside down and sideways as you squinted your eyes in hope that maybe it’d make more sense but honestly it didn’t

You sighed until you heard a thump, you look over and see William dropping wood on to the ground, you watch as he skillfully starts a fire by rubbing two sticks together, what’d you expect from the top magic knight captain though??

He finished and looked over at you and chuckled lightly when he saw your exhausted expression

“Do you need help love?” He asks as he gets up and walks over to you, you pout as he leans down and grabs the guide book from your hand

“It’s impossible, I’ve been at it for 20 minutes William” you say in defeat and he chuckles again “it’s alright let’s try again” he says and you look up into his eyes as love pools in his irises, you smile

“Alright alright pretty boy don’t hypnotize me” you say and he blushes slightly as you two began from scratch

“Can you hand me the hammer love?” He asks and you nod quickly as you run to grab the hammer and hand it your boyfriend, he thanks you with a smile and hits in the final nail

You both back up and you wipe sweat off your forehead as you both look at your beautifully new set up tent

“We did it!” You shout in happiness and he chuckles as he nods in agreement it was in fact hard to set up

“This calls for celebration William, and you know what that means” you say and he hums “what does it mean love?” He asks playing along

You smirk and turn around as you go into the tent, William waits patiently until your head pops back out and next a bag of marshmallows

“S’mores!” You cheer and he chuckles as he helps you up “that sounds lovely, let’s do it” he says and you grin as you skip to the fire

William follows as he takes a seat next to you, you take a stick and hand another to your boyfriend who thanks you

“I don’t mean to brag but I’m pretty skilled in this field” you say cracking your knuckles before placing your marshmallow on top of your stick

“Is that so? By all means show me how it’s done” he says amused and you grin as you put your marshmallow over the fire, after a few minutes you pull it away and a beautiful toasted marshmallow arrives

You grin proudly as William claps

“Impressive impressive” he says and you smirk “I know I know please hold your applause folks” you joke and he chuckles

Much to your surprise the perfect magic knight captain William Vangeance of the Golden Dawn really sucked at making s’mores

The third marshmallow was pulled from the fire in a burnt state once again and William sighed embarrassed as you let out another roar of laughter

“Shall I help you my love?” You ask and he nods with a blush to his cheeks at how many times he failed

You replace his burnt marshmallow with a new one and he puts it over the fire, you both watch

“And now!” You say and he takes a deep breath as he pulls it away and a beautiful brown color shone under the moonlight on the marshmallow as you let out a cheer

“Yay!” You say and he chuckles a little as you both assemble your s’mores

You both take a bite and you let out a groan of satisfaction as the marshmallow melts onto your tongue

“This is delicious!” You say and William nods as you both enjoy the s’mores you both worked hard for

You finished yours first and waited with anticipation as William finished his, he looks at you in slight confusion

“What’s wrong Y/n?” He asks and you grin as you grab his hand and start running through the trees

“Where are we going?” He asks as you two maneuver through the branches

sometimes i think i see your ghost, in passing hallways, the staircase to my apartment,

the clock couldn’t seem to hit three fast enough, the sun was shining outside but everything about your seventh period math class just made you gloomy. you tapped your foot on the ground, anxiously waiting for the final bell to ring so you could get out of the boredom that was calculus. you sighed and rested on your hand that was on your desk and tried to see if you could understand what your teacher was saying but you’d spaced out too long to even know what the hell he was talking about.

with another sigh, you slightly turned you head. you were seated at the back of the class, meaning you could see a part of the empty hallway since the door was open and there he was, the beautiful water tribe baseball player. your heart rate picked up as he simply passed in the hallway though he seemed to catch your staring because he backed right back into your line of view and smirked at you.

“okayyy. can we go get sea prunes? pretty please?” the pitcher begged, looking down at you with his signature puppy dog eyes that made you practically weak in the knees, he knew you’d never say no to them.

you’d always been close friends but ever since highschool started, you’d fallen for your best friend and you’d fallen hard. his adorably cute smile, his adorably cute eyes, his adorably cute ponytail, his adorably cute jokes, just his adorably cute self was enough to make you long for anything more than a simple close friendship with the water tribe boy.

you’d seem to have done a pretty good job at hiding it as none of your friends ever picked up on it. sokka and you had always have a pretty touchy friendship, you’d hug all the time, you’d place your head in his lap, he’d lay his head on your shoulder, but none it had any ulterior motive. so when zuko confronted you about it you were surprised, he was the one to find out about it, not toph, not even katara, the said crush’s sister, no it was zuko.

zuko seemed to have seen right through your lies about your lack of feelings for the baseball player which led you to just dumping all the reasons that he made your heart put a race care to shame. you told him about the daydreaming that occurred whenever someone would point out that you would both be a cute couple, you told him about the monthly dreams you’d have about you finally confessing your emotions that were always reciprocated.

zuko was kind and always listened but always took the oppurtiny to tease you about it when you were alone.

you grabbed your coat and your shoes and quietly left the house, making sure not to wake your sleeping parents. once outside, you took the ten minute walk to an old willow that stood about halfway between the water tribe sibling’s house and yours. you had often spent afternoons with the two of them just laying in the ground and watched the leaves around them slowly move with the wind.

when highschool started, you often found yourself throwing a rock or so at sokka’s window when it would be late in an attempt to get him to sneak out with you for walks under the beautiful moon. one night you almost got caught so you both agreed to simply text and agree to meet at that nostalgic willow.

upon arriving and passing through the weeping willow’s leaves you saw a figure leaning against it’s trunk. you were able to recognise the boy thanks to the light from his phone that he was scrolling mindlessly on.

“hey sokka.” you made your presence none in a rather soft way, not wanting to spook him.

“hey y/n, thanks for coming.” he looked up and smiled at you and put his phone back into his jacket pocket. your eyes had long acclimated to the darkness and were able to see him sit on the ground and pat the spot next to him to which you happily obliged.

“so what did you want to say.” you asked once you sat next to him.

“okay well i wanted your help. how do i ask a girl out?” his questions came out of nowhere and took you aback, you feared the direction that the conversation would go in but you shoved your emotions down. sokka may be the boy of your dreams but he was still your best friend, and you’d always want him to happy.

“well first of all, i need to know who this girl is.” you smirked, a small spark of hope as your mind rushed to not only a horrible ending to the conversation, but one that ended in a confession of feelings from both sides.

“okay well, only if you guess.” he joked which earned a playful eye roll from you before continuing. “okay well i’ve been friends with her for a while but recently, i’ve been feelings differently towards her y’a know? she’s always been there for me and always knows how to make me happy. i just feel warm and safe with her. i dont want to ruin our friendship because it means so much to me!”

“well sokka, i give up.” your spark grew at his description of the girl he was mad for, the only person you could even think of that fit the criteria was you. boy if you only you hadn’t been that naive, maybe that would’ve saved you from the heartbreak that was coming.

“okay well i thought it was obvious.” he grinned, leaning his head back in a way that told you that he was thinking of the girl who’s name you were about to know.
