There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation

Season nine is really funny cause Spencer is like recovering from happened in the prev season so nothing bad actually happens to him- hell he gets to be a hero to both the possible victim and the team- so like you get the sense that because of what happened to Maeve they decided to give him a break-

Then comes the finale, he almost dies and another "protector" (this time a MATERNAL figure) leaves him. They really couldn't help themselves.
