He abruptly stood up and motioned for you to move over, and you did so. He threw the sweat drenched pillow across the room, and picked up a new one from the floor, laying it next to you before his body met the bed.

“C’mon, we’ll battle this together.” His head fell on the bed, and his arms inviting you in, and you graciously accepted, laying your head on his chest. This was normal for the two of you, it was tradition in fact. It started when you were a little girl, and was scared of the dark and the thing in your closet.

Sleep came a lot easier for you two that night. Listening to each other breath and the soft music you usually played as you got ready for bed. Tony found you the next morning on the couch, eating a bowl of cereal with Peter, who was on the floor talking about his latest science project, when Tony handed you a laptop and an ear piece.

“I want you to be our eyes and ears in our commons for the simulation training today,” He answered the confused look you gave him.

“You want me to basically be Friday?” 

“Well.. No, but yea. I know you want to be apart of the team, but you’re not done with your training, plus you’re really good with computers. So, you’ll be the eyes and ears for this training. Maybe next training, you’ll be apart of it. Pete, suit up. Friday, tell the team to suit up.

“Yes, sir.” The AI sent out the message.

Handing each member of the team a comm piece, they entered the Simulation Training Room. You knew it was for practice, but you were still nervous. You’ve never done this before. It was your responsibility to help the team through this fake mission.

You watched your father the room in his Iron Man suit, you eyes quickly made eye contact with your boyfriend who, ironically, was the last person in line for the comms piece. He could sense your nervousness, the stress was clear in your eyes. You plopped down on the chair that was at the desk by the training room. Steve came behind the chair, rested his gloved hands on your shoulders, and gave a comforting squeeze.

“Hey sweetheart, I heard you last night. By the time I made it to you, Tony was already there. This is a test run, to see how well you do under pressure. It’s not real, anything you hear over comms in the background, isn’t real. I promise, everything will be ok.” He moved the hair away from your neck and planted a kiss where your pulse was. Something he did to let you know that he was thankful you were alive.

The corners of your mouth curved slightly up, a sigh fell from your lips at the gesture, feeling your nerves calm down a little. You turned in your chair, gaining full view of Steve. A smile grew when you saw him in the famous Captain America suit.

“Well Captain, you need to get in there before Dad drags your ass in there,” You plant a kiss on his cheek before handing him his ear piece and shooing him into the room. The door clicking closed behind him. Turning to the computer, you clicked a few buttons and everyone came up on the screen.

“Alright, Avengers. Before we get started, I need to know you can hear me. Raise your hand if you can hear me” You said, eyes flicking over the screen as the team raised their hands. “Friday, turn on the simulation. Today, they’re going back to Sokovia, fighting the Chitauri and Ultron’s bots.”

You fed information through the comms into their ears, watching each one fight through the training. They all held up their end, making sure no one touched the amulet that could “destroy” the world.

“Cap, on your left,” You mumbled as you watched an Ultron bot come closer to the amulet.

“Haha, very funny. Sam teach you that one?” Cap chirped 

“Cap!!”

“What? I laughed!”

“Babe!! Behind you!” You yelled at the screen, standing up so fast your chair fell. You watched Steve turn around, and slam his shield down on the bot. Both of you not registering what you had just called him.

“Babe?” You heard the disbelief in your father’s voice.

“Fuck,” you whispered as you saw Tony turn to Steve. Steve’s jaw tighten, and he swallowed hard. You felt your stomach drop.

“Tony,” Nat warned Tony, stepping closer to the two.

“You’re dating my daughter?” Tony hissed, raising his hand to send a blast at Steve. 

You watched in horror as the other Avengers fight Tony to protect Steve. You saw the blasts almost come in contact with Steve. You couldn’t just sit there and watch this happen. 

You threw the earpiece on the counter and race towards the door. You tried the handle, it wouldn’t budge. You tried pushing the door opened, and again, nothing. Taking a couple steps back, you kicked the door opened. You made a mental note to thank Clint for showing you how to do that.

Steve had his shield up, protecting him from the blasts that landed on the shield. You ran into the room, towards Steve and stopped right infront of him. You weren’t in a suit like your dad. You didn’t have a weapon like most of the team. You didn’t have webshooters, or powers to help you in this. It was just you. Standing in the line of fire.

“Don’t!” You screamed, your hand flew up as if it’ll actually stop Tony.

“(Y/N), get out of the way!” Tony yelled back.

“Dad, stop!! Please! I love him!” You begged, feeling your breath hitch in your throat. 

“What?” Steve and Tony asked in unison. You realized what you just said, and turned to Steve.

“Please don’t hurt him.. I love him,” You let out a small laugh, confidence growing. 

Steve searched your eyes for assurance that what he just heard was true. Once, he saw that assurance, he tore off his helmet, pulling you closer to him by your hips. 

“I love you too,” He captured your lips with his. He cupped your cheek, deepening the kiss. He kissed you like you were air and he couldn’t get enough. 

“Stop!” Tony called out, making you two pull away, lips swollen, and breathing heavily. “Since when?”

You looked down at your hands, feelings Tony’s eyes stare hard enough at you, you could feel it burn a hole in you.

“Since you and Pepper went to Rome,” Steve said. “She had one of her nightmares, and I helped her that night. We stayed up talking, it eventually led to us confessing our feelings for each other.”

“You helped her?” Shock laced Tony’s voice.

“He helped me Dad,” You looked up at him. “He’s helped me the nights you weren’t there. He was going to be there last night, but you got there first.”

“I truly love her, Tony.” Steve added smiling down at you.

Tony looked between you two. He saw the love you shared for each other, he noticed how much happier you had gotten in the last couple months. He just thought it was your nightmares lightening up on you. He noticed you slept through the nights more often than not. He saw the changes that happened, and everything clicked into place. It’s because of Steve.

I asked as Eddie and V looked at me intensely. "We need your help." I heard Edwards voice said causing me to frown.

"With?" I asked as I was meet with silents. "Its the newborns isn't it?" I asked as I couod see them looking at each other with a worried look. "How do you know?" Jasper asked causing me to chuckled. "They've been here. My and my boyfriend had to kill a few of them." I said as Eddies and Venoms eyes widen.

"You have a boyfriend?!" Jasper yelled causing me to move the phone back slightly. "Watch it!" I growled as I saw Eddie bit his bottom lip and Venom went back inside Eddie. "Yeah I have a boyfriend. "She has had she?" Jasper said as I saw his eyes darken slightly. "Major." I said as I stood infront of Eddie. "How come you never told me about your Boyfriend." Major said causing me to glare at him. "Ya never asked." I said as my accent came out strong.

"(Y/n)." Edward called as I looked up at him only to see him glaring at Eddie. "Your not keeping your thought to yourself Eddie." I said as Eddie to chuckled and scratch the back of his neck. "It can't be help." He said with a childish grin. "Who's that?" Edward said as he stood in front of Bella.

"Who?" I asked confused until I took notice Eddie frown look. "V?" I asked then Venom appeared over Eddies shoulder scaring everyone even the wolves. "WHY DO YOU ONLY TALK TO EDDIE?!" Venom snarled casuing me to chuckle at him softly. "Cause I was gonna introduce you to them V. I didn't mean to make you feel sad." I said as I pat his head causing him to purr.

"Guys meet Venom. A Symbiote from another planet." I said with a soft smile. "His not dangerous. Unless you anger him." I said softly as Eddie held an panic look. "He could help us." Carlisle said as I chuckled when V started to nuzzle himself closer to me dragging Eddie with him.

Time Skip

"Get ready." Major said as I nod my head and grin. "Ready you two." I said to Eddie as he pulled me towards him. "Please be safe." Eddie said as I frown at him. Then he gently pressed his lips aganet mine. I smiled as I pulled away and chuckled softly. "I always well." I said softlty as I peck his lips.

Once the Newborns started to run towards us Eddie lets Venom take over. The fight was easy as me and Major Jasper fought and had each other back just like back then. "You need to watch your back brother dear." I said as Major chuckled. "Behind you." He said as I turned a 180 with my leg up breaking the newborn neck.

"Your no fun." I pouted causing him to glare at me playfully. "Kill the rest." Major said as I nod my head. Once we only had a few left I saw two of them jump on V causing me to get on off him. "(Y/n)!" I heard as the newborn through me acrossed the field. I gasped slightly as time went slow around me.

Then I felt a sharp pain on my head, back, and shoulder. "(Y/n)!" I heard V yelled as I started to lose consciousness. "You pay for that!" V yelled as I felt myself starting to heal. "(Y/n). Baby. Please come back." I heard Eddie said as I saw a blure. Once every part of my body healed I gasped again and quickly sat up.

"Fuck that hurt." I mumbled as Eddie wrapped his arms around me tightly. "Your okay." Eddie whispered as I wrapped my arms around him. "I told you never go for the obvious kill (Y/n) Major said as he looked at me with concern. "It not like I'm human anyways." I said as I heard a small whimper escape Eddies lips.

"Please. Don't do that. We thought." Eddie said as I took notice there no more newborns. "Its gonna take a lot more then that to get rid of me you two." I said softly as I kissed his neck to his cheek. "There coming." Alice called as Edward and Bella got here.

"They won't accept the fact we have the wolve here. They need to go." Carlisle said as I ignored them. "I can't wait to go back home." I mumbled softly as Eddie helped me up and wrapped an arm around my waist when I lost my balance. "Thanks." I smiled as he pecked my cheek.

"Can't wait to go back eating some chocolate and tatter tots." Eddie said as Venom appeared between us. "Yes and some snakes on humans." V said causinf me to chuckle and Eddie to sigh. "There here." Alice said as I tensed up and lookes ahead. "Stay close to me." I said as I took Eddies hand and stood close to the last Newborn girl.

"Seems we messed an entertaining fight." Alec said as I rolled my eyes. "Maybe if you wouod have been her earlier then you would have some fun yourself." I snarled getting there attention. "Hmmm. Another Vampire with a human mate." Jane said as she looks at Eddie up and down with her red eyes.

I could tell V and Eddie didn't like them. "Sure. You can say that." I said with a grin. "You missed one." She said as she took notice of the girl next to me. Me and Jasper glared at Jane as we stood next to the girl. "She's with us now. She didn't even have a choice." Esme trued to be reasonable. "That wasn't your choice to make." Jane said then stared at the girl.

"Why did you come?" Jane asked and before the girl could saw anything she started to scream in pain. "Who created you?" She asked as the girl fell to the floor. I glared at her as I used my gift making Jane look at me. "Let her speak." I said darkly as she looked at me scared. The girl panted as she looked up.

"I don't know. Rally never told us. He said our thought weren't safe." She cried as I crouched down and helped her up. "The name is Victoria. You should know." Edward snarles slightly as I chuckled. "Edward if the Volturi knew about Victoria they would have done something. Isn't that right Jane?" Carlisle asked as I saw Jasper used his gift. "Of course." She said then looked at the girl.

"Caius wouldn't be happy to hear that shes still human." Jane said as she looked at Edward and Bella. "The Date is set." Bella said as Jane then look at me. "Aro would like to meet you two once he finds out another Cullen has a human." Jane said causing me to chuckle. "I'm not apart of the Cullens anymore. I moved away." I said as she glared at me.

"You want proof kid?" I asked as I stood in front of her. She narrowed her eyes at me as she look down at my hand. She grabbed it as I showed her me the day I told them I'm moving away, to the day I meet Eddie, to how I told Eddie about myself, and how I told him about the Volturi. "Interesting." She said I she lets go of my hand.

I didn't want to show her about Venom knowing they were gonna take him away from me and try to kill him. "Felix, I'd like to go home now." Jane said as I stood next to Eddie. I looked down as Felix went to the girl causing her to scream in fear.

I quickly pulled Eddie down to my neck as we heard a snap causing Eddie to tensed up. "The Volturi doesn't give second chances. Keep that in mind." Jane said then they left. The girl's body was on fire as Eddie looked down at her. "We could have done something." Eddie mumbled as I looked down.

"We couldn't. Or they'll kill us all." I told him as everyone looked at the girl. I frown slightly as it started to get a bit winder blow out the fire. I raised my hand causing bright neon blue flames to appear and revised back time. The girl's body was pit back to place as she gasped out.

Third Person POV

"(Y/n)." Carlisle said as she held her throat. "When was the last time you hunt?" Jasper asked (Y/n) as she frown at him. "Your safe (Y/n)." Eddie said as she look down at the ground confused. "What wrong?" Rosalie asked Eddie as he place a gentle hand on her shoulder. "(Y/N) HASN'T USED THAT GIFT IN WHILE. WHEN SHE DOES SHE TEND TO FORGET THINGS AND PEOPLE." Venom said as Eddie moved his hands down to her hands and intertwine there fingers.

"Where am I?" (Y/n) asked confused as Eddie slowly. "Fuck. My head hurts." (Y/n) mumbled as Venom nuzzled himself closer to her. "You guys should go." Eddie said as the Cullen's were hesitant. They nod and took the girl with them leaving only Eddie, Venom, and (Y/n) alone.

"You know where you are sweetheart?" Eddie asked as (Y/n) frown before slowly nodding her head. "Florks?" (Y/n) said confused as she looks around. "Yeah. We just defeated the Newborn army." He said as (Y/n) frown slightly. "Yeah. Now I remember." She said with a slight smile.

"Come on. Your brother is probably waiting for you." Eddie said as he let V took over and picked (Y/n) up bridle style and ran through the woods.

Fanfic: fairytale of the mill

They have a Christmas checklist.

Aaron’s not entirely sure it’s necessary, but Robert has a list, and Liv tells him in no uncertain terms that Robert survived Aaron’s incarceration on lists, so Aaron acquiesces.

The List (capitals included) is attached to the ridiculously modern fridge with a misshapen leprechaun magnet that somehow found its way into the microwave. It’s written in three different kinds of handwriting, and is smudged with food and ink alike.

Every item is a Must Have for Christmas According to Robert Sugden.

Aaron knows Robert’s obsession with making this a great Christmas stems from his own worries that the year has been mostly shitty and he needs something to look forward to.

The List it is.

“But why a real one?” Liv asks for the thirtieth time.

Robert huffs and tugs the sleeves of his jacket over his clothes. “Because it’s not Christmas unless it’s a real tree.”

Liv lets out a put upon sigh, but as soon as they enter the garden centre, she immediately vetoes the first three on the grounds that they’re not real enough.

Aaron rolls his eyes and resigns himself to following Rob and Liv around until they find the perfect tree.  

“Hey,” Robert says, bumping their shoulders together. “This is your tree too.”

“I know,” Aaron assures him. “Are you sure you’ll be happy having to hoover up pine needles every day?”

Robert flushes a little, shrugging nonchalantly. He tenses, though, and Aaron isn’t fooled. “Your mum said you’d never had a real tree. Just thought you’d want one is all.”

Soft. Aaron’s fallen for the softest moron in the North. “Idiot,” he says, affection drowning his tone. “Come on, then, before Liv chooses neon green or summat.”

Aaron’s knee deep in cardboard boxes when he hears Vic’s muffled shout.

“You found ‘em yet?”

Poking his head down the attic door and gives her a pointed look. “Have you ever cleaned this out?”

Vic shrugs, one hand curled around the ladder, the other texting. “Not for ages. Most of that isn’t even ours. Rob says they should be near the front.”

“Well they’re not,” Aaron says immediately. “I swear I’ve been through these boxes fifteen times.”

“You haven’t even been in there long enough,” Vic says, unimpressed. “If you can’t find ‘em, you’ll just have to buy some.”

Aaron sighs, a wasted afternoon then, but dutifully climbs halfway down the ladder, then fits the door back in place. “Liv’ll be happy.”

Vic raises an eyebrow as she folds up the ladder. “Didn’t want our old stockings then?”

“Not big enough apparently.” Aaron stretches, rolling his shoulders until they stop aching quite so much. Honestly, he loves Christmas, but there’s so much lifting and climbing and doing. “Don’t know what she thinks she’s getting, but whatever it is, she needs more.”

Vic snorts, propping the ladder in the spare room and shutting the door.

Aaron feels a wave of nostalgia; just last year they were living out of the pub. This year they’re married and they have their own home. It’ll be their first Christmas together in the home they made. The size of the stocking doesn’t seem like such a concession.  

“I mean it though, Vic,” Aaron shoots back over his shoulder as they make their way downstairs, “That attic needs a clean.”

“If you wanna come do it,” Vic says, punching him in the shoulder. “Be my guest.”

Hotten Tesco is apparently the place to be on a Friday night, Aaron thinks wryly, as they navigate their way through trolleys and families of fifteen children to get to the frozen aisles.

“I hate shopping,” Liv mutters for the fifteenth time. “Don’t see why I had to come anyway.”

“You eat it,” Robert says, scanning in two packs of mince pies. “You can help buy it.”

Liv makes a disgruntled noise but grabs another three boxes of mince pies off the shelf. “Don’t pretend you won’t eat all of these before Christmas Eve.”

Robert scowls, but doesn’t refute the statement.

Aaron scans the freezers for a turkey that doesn’t feed seven hundred people. “Where’s the small ones?”

“Get a medium,” Liv says, phone in hand. “Robert’ll eat turkey sandwiches for weeks after anyway.”

“You can’t waste good turkey,” Robert protests. He gives the turkeys a once over. “Just get a medium. If worst comes to worst, we can just invite the Dingles round for dinner.”

He grins, like he thinks he’s hilarious, but Aaron’s surprised by the rush of no he gets at the thought. Even Liv looks horrified.

“We’re not, are we? I mean they’re great, but I thought you guys said-“

“He’s having a laugh,” Aaron says, firmly.

“’Course,” Robert assures her.

Liv gives him a glare and wanders off, muttering about grabbing some Yorkshire puds.

Robert’s giving Aaron a familiar look. It’s his I love you so much and I don’t know what to do with itexpression and it never fails to turn Aaron soft.

“What?” He says, leaning into the freezer for a medium turkey.

“Thought you’d wanna see ‘em is all,” Robert says eventually.

“Obviously I told mum we’d see her Boxing day.” Aaron holds the turkey out for Robert to scan. “But if you wanna hang out with my family all day, then-“

“I’m happy to be spending it with mine,” Robert says, easily, cheeks flushing.

So fucking soft.

Aaron has everyone’s presents before November rolls into December.

Liv’s determined she’s got the best damn presents of everyone and they’re already under the tree, badly wrapped but presentable.

Robert’s secretive, though Amazon packages arrive throughout the month, and there are painfully tidy wrapped parcels under the tree not a couple of hours later.

Gerry tosses a couple of voucher envelopes under the tree and mumbles something about cash and grateful, but whatever.

The Friday before Christmas, Lisa brings round boxes full of presents.

“They’re from everyone, love,” she says, helping Aaron place them under the tree. She looks rosy cheeked and happy, and when she hugs Aaron, he lets her hang on just a little longer. “You make sure you enjoy yourself.”

“We will,” Aaron promises, and ushers her out before Robert comes home. All he needs is him offering her a cuppa and having her round for dinner.

Robert’s taste in music is generally abysmal, but Aaron’s pleasantly surprised that this doesn’t extend to Christmas music.

He’s expecting the golden oldies (including Me two front teeth which is one song Aaron wishes he could erase from his memory permanently), but gets a mix of new and old, originals and covers.

“It’s a work in progress,” Robert admits. They’re driving into Hotten for Leo’s play and his playlist automatically starts up as they set off.

“So you uploaded ‘em all this morning?” Aaron says, grinning.

Robert snorts, but says nothing.

“Just don’t let Liv get hold of it,” Aaron warns. “You might not like her additions.”

“If she thinks she’s touching any of the controls in here again,” Robert says immediately, tone as warning as it is amused.

Aaron rolls his eyes. “You’re the one who offered to teach her to drive.”

Robert narrows his eyes as he pulls onto the motorway. He says nothing, and Aaron settles in, letting the sounds of Mariah Carey singing about what she wants for Christmas fill the car.

She’s got a point, Aaron thinks, ridiculously. Everything he wants is right here in the car.

Seriously, soft.

Aaron’s still suffering flashbacks from last year.

Though, he admits to himself, Robert warbling in the shower to Michael Buble is probably the highlight of his Christmas so far.

“It’s tradition,” Liv tells Gerry. “Don’t question it.”

Aaron roots around under the tree for the plug to the lights. If another bulb blows, he’s going to strangle Robert for not buying new ones.

“Why?” Gerry sounds genuinely confused. Then again, they do have three copies sitting on the shelf, and that’s discounting the VHS tape Robert has stashed under their bed. “And why does he need three?”

“Oh god, don’t get him started,” Liv moans, grabbing the DVD from Gerry’s hands and shoving it back on the cabinet. “Different versions blah songs cut blah bluray blah.”

Aaron snorts, and finally wrestles the plug into the extension lead. He’s immediately blinded by the bulb infront of his face, and curses.

“Oh good, we won’t have to watch it if Aaron’s blind, right?” Gerry asks, sounding too pleased for an out.

Aaron rubs the heels of his hands into his eyes. “Fat chance.”

“I heard that,” Robert chimes in from the kitchen.

“Good,” is the reply from three voices.

Fucking Hotten Tesco again.

“We’re ready, aren’t we?” Robert asks, Christmas Eve, the two of them curled up on the sofa with Liv and Gerry upstairs.

Aaron runs a hand through Robert’s hair. “It’ll be fine.”

“Okay.” Robert sounds like he’s trying to convince himself as much as Aaron.

“Seriously,” Aaron says, tilting Robert’s chin up. “Stop trying so hard and just enjoy it. We’re here, ain’t we?”

“Yeah,” Robert breathes, smiling so wide it must hurt. “I love ya.”

“I love you too,” Aaron tells him, firm. He tugs Robert in for a kiss. “Merry Christmas.”

“It will be,” Robert says, grin turning dirty. He slides down Aaron’s body, his face full of promise.

Probably his best one yet, Aaron thinks.

Silver's Suit (part 5)

Silver walks out from where he was with you putting on his mask. He slowly tries to make his way to the table with everyone. They all look at him already knowing how it went. Silver doesn't say anything and just stands there his shoulders hunched.

"Silver do you want t go home?" Ed puts his hand on Silver's shoulder.

"I do... please." Silver whispers.

"Ok lets go." Ed leads the way and looks back at everyone else. "Are you guys going to stay here or are you coming?"

"Ummm you two go on ahead first. We will catch up later." Willford said. With that Ed had his arm around Silver's shoulders and they make their way through the crowd. Once they are gone Willford looks at the others. "Ok where are they." He pulls out his gun.

"Will put that back! Are you crazy! I mean of course you are but seriously!!" Dr.Iplier makes Will put the gun back. "I thought I told you to check him for all weapons before we got here." Doc looks at Google.

"I did a thorough scan of him. You know he always finds a way to still get one." Google sighs.

"Come on I am very justified in this! They hurt Silver so we need to teach them a lesson." Willford grumbled.

"Willford will remember that this is a matter only between Silver and (Y/N). As must as it hurts us all to see Silver in pain we need to respect (Y/N) decision." Host saids softly.

"I know that. It's just I don't like seeing him so upset again." Willford leans on the table.

"I know how having a broken heat feels like. He just needs some time." Bim tries to be comforting.

"Bim what if he doesn't?" Willford sighs. "What if this was his chance and he lost it. You got lucky with your Flower. Ed has his Honey. Hell even Dark of all people has his Darling. Which still baffles me but damnit they make a good pancake when they sleep over."

"We can not be sure that this was his only chance Will." Dr.Iplier tries to be positive. "He can find someone that will love him for him."

"But he was sure this was the one." Willford looks down.

"For now we can just be there for him guys." Mark speaks up. "Give him his space for now and when he is ready then support him."

"ok then lets go." Willford gets up.

You get out from there you were with Silver and look around frantically. You want to see Silver and tell him that you didn't want him to go. You wanted to tell him that even if he hid this from you and that you believed he has bad thoughts about you in the beginning you wanted to work it out. He left before you could say anything and you felt bad knowing you didn't tell him that. As you look around you find Mark's table and run over there fast.

"I'm sorry to just barge in here but please tell me you have seen Silver!" You look at Mark pleading.

"He just left. I don't understand why are you looking for him when you rejected him just now." Mark crosses his arms. "Look I get that you are upset that he lied to you and I even thought that is not how it should have been done but he wanted to be careful. Silver is very shy if you didn't know. He may be a confident hero but personally he is nervous and shy about other things. His ego was blown after his last relationship and it really hurt him. He clings on to his mask for comfort and it is hard for him to open up to someone and take it off. Even with us sometimes he still feels he needs to keep it on constantly. Silver is a great guy and he has a big heart and will fight for someone in a heartbeat because that's how he is, not just because he was made to be a hero. He is my ego and I want him to be happy so if you are only going to keep hurting him fan or not I will ask you to leave because I care about him and his happiness."

 You are taken back by Marks words. You have never seen him look this serious than when he did that video about respect. "No im not trying to hurt him. I never meant to hurt him. I just need to talk to him please. I need to tell him I really do like him and I do want to go out with him. He left before I could tell him anything. I'm so stupid... He was right there and I couldn't say anything until he was already gone. He must hate me..." You look down sadly.

"So you really like him don't you?" Mark is softer this time.

"I really do. He is the first person I could be myself with. I don't want to lose him when we haven't gotten a chance to be together." You look at Mark. Looking at him you can tell the differences between him and Silver. They may share the same face but there are things that are different. Silver stands more upright always ready for a pose. Silver's eyes look more like they sparkle more, like if they have stars in them if he were to get excited. His hair was also longer having Mark's old hairstyle but even so it looked more flat since it is usually under his mask.

"Then why didn't you say so!!"��Willford jumps up.

You look at him confused. "Um I'm sorry... do I know you?"

Will takes off his mask. "How can you not know this handsome face? Also wasn't the voice enough for you." Willford winks.

"O now you suddenly want to help them after you just threatened them only moments ago. " Dr.Iplier shakes his head. You feel dump realizing you could have noticed Doc more because he has no mask on.

"What I can't change my mind?" Willford shrugs.

"Wait you threatened my life?" You look nervous.

"Don't worry he does that to everyone." Bim chimes in. "You get used to it."

"I think we are forgetting out prime objective here." Google speaks up. He took off his helmet feeling warm.

"Ed and Silver make their way to the entrance. They walk out and are heading toward the parking space. We need to get to them now." Host said.

"Ok! EGOS ASEMBLE!!" Willford puts on his mask again and runs off into the crowd. You look back at the others who just sigh follow but more civil.

"So is it always like this?" Thomas looks at Mark.

"You have no idea." Mark sits beside Thomas. "Trust me this is only a small fraction."

Outside Ed and Silver are still making their way to the parking lot. There is still a good number of people around and it is hard to move. "How the hell does old Mark do this at cons? I cant get anywhere there are too many people." Ed complains.

"Mark doesn't mind as long as the fans are happy." Silver sighs clearly still upset.

"Come on boy you will get through this one. I know it. Lets just get to the car first shall we." Ed pats Silver's back.

 As they keep going Silver feels something on his head. He hears a buzzing sound and starts to freak out. "Bee!" He tried to get away from it but it has landed on his head and would not budge. As he tries to push it off he does it to hard and his mask slips off. He doesn't realize it until he looks up and some people are staring at him.

"Omg is that Mark!" People begin talking to each other and Silver goes red.

"No way I just saw him in the building how can he be here?" Someone asks.

"A doppelganger?" Someone questions.

"Wait is he actually the Ego Silver!" Someone get it.

"Wow he must be. He really does look like Mark! Hey you should keep the mask off more you look cute." Someone else saids.

Silver feels all eyes on him. He looks around for Ed but he lost him when he was running around from the bee. He feels like he cant breathe and is panicking. Silver wants his mask but he cant find it on the ground. The people are looking at him and its making him feel uncomfortable. He feels like curling up in a ball and hiding. His mask was his security blanket and he lost it. With it gone he feel venerable. He feels like his legs are giving in then closes his eyes hoping the feeling will go away. Then he feels something slide on his face.

"He is a cosplayer. He really took it to the next level and really did his stuff to look like Mark. Cool right?" You look at the people.

Silver opens his eyes as sees you standing infront of him. You found his mask and slipped it back on him. He looks up to see people accepting your words and leaving you be.

You look up at him and smile. "I like you this way more.

It was just supposed to be a normal date, Inuchiyo reasoned. Just dinner at his favorite diner and then two hours of the horror film his odd but lovable girlfriend had been talking about seeing for months.

Just a normal date, where he’d take her back to his place afterward, and they’d well...they’d…

A pleasantly pink blush dyed his cheeks as he shook his head, a familiar frown taking over his features.

Nevermind.

Because it wasn’t a normal date anymore.

“Gah! Toshiie, please help me.” She was grasping his hand,lacing her fingers with his and gesturing into the darkness just off the road. “It ran that way.”  Right of course it did. The small puppy had run right in front them on the sidewalk and into the road, which had been enough to send his girlfriend after it, until he had pulled her back, just in the nick of time for a car to fly by, the driver laying on the horn.

To which he had responded with some unkind words, a fire blazing in his eyes. Damn it all. He’d kill that bastard-

“Shh, wait, come on.” Still, his love seemed unaffected, pulling him with her as she continued across the street, eyes scanning the night.

“Where are we going?”

“Oh look, there he is!” Her whisper was so quiet he could barely hear her, but he felt her tug him close and saw her gesture, following her arm until his eyes landed on the small creature.

“Now what?” His own tone was vaguely irritated and she turned her face to him, her glasses catching the glare of a nearby street light.

“You have to save him, Toshiie.” her tone was solemn as she stared at him, doing her best rendition of puppy-dog eyes. “Please? He’s so little, he’ll die on his own.” Her lip quivered.

Damn that lip quiver.

“F-Fine.” His gruff reply, tinted with embarrassment.

And that was how his girlfriend got a dog.

“Help me name him.” She took a running start, bouncing onto the bed next to him. He reached for her, completing their nightly ritual by pulling her close and breathing in the scent of her freshly washed hair.

This was enough to relax him completely, knowing that she was here with him and safe. She smiled that sweet, sleepy smile that caused emotions to bloom inside of him. He could feel a flush on his cheeks, looking away as she curled against him, resting her head on his shoulder.

She was too cute, dammit!

“You aren’t seriously planning on keeping that dog.” Inuchiyo huffed.”Can’t you just pawn it off on one of your friends?” His girlfriend frowned, lightly grazing the flesh of his side with her finger nails.

“I distinctly remember one of my friends saying the same thing to me about what I should do with you, puppy. Oh, wait.” She grinned in mischevious glee. “Why don’t I name him Mitsunari?”

“W-What? No!” Inuchiyo sat up,drawing her up with him. “If you are keeping it, at least give it a good name!”

“Like what?”

“How should I know? Its not like this dog is our kid or anything.” He was pouting now, and she leaned over to kiss his cheek.

“Does that mean you have names picked out for our future kids?”

No amount of his sputtered defense was able to stop her teasing that night.

In 2008 I had insurance in California, through my employer. I got laid off in June, but was on COBRA in Sept. 2008, when Blue Cross authorized me for gastric bypass surgery. In Oct 2009, owing to a dispute over COBRA payments, my insurance lapsed. As of Nov 1 I have no coverage, and new insurance through my wife's Kaiser won't start until Jan 1. Yesterday (Dec 23 09) I had to go to the ER due to abdominal pain that turned out to be a complication of the 2008 gastric bypass. Last night I had a CT scan and emergency surgery to correct the problem. Blue Cross rejected the claim, which of course makes sense and pushing it through was just a formality anyway. But today I wondered if, since the procedure was covered originally, would surgery to correct a complication be covered by law even if my insurance lapsed? I know I'm grasping at straws here, but it seems like it might be worth a consultation with an attorney to find out. I think this surgery is going to run to $40K or more. It was a simple laproscopic procedure, but y'know nothing's cheap. The original bypass was billed to Blue Cross at $38K. I know it's not like defect liability, since a surgeon can't guarantee there will not be complications. Also, I know I can't expect free legal advice here. But if someone knows for sure or has thoughts one way or the other would be helpful.""

I would like to let you people know that I'm a full-time student, and that this month has to be officially the worst month of my life. Throughout this month I've been pulled over twice, and the reason for them are pretty stupid if you ask me. I basically see it as being at the wrong place at the wrong time. The first time I got pulled over was while I was getting off a red light with a car in front of me.
