i'm watching jimmy scott and lizzie atm, so most of what i know lore-wise for other players ive just picked up from tumblr. that being said:

-i know a lot of people are saying based on scott's recent comments (having angered a witch before, had training that helped him move through the mangrove forest easier) that he's a retired circus performer, but may i present to you: retired assassin scott.

please a retired assassin who knows a lot about textiles bc of making clothes to fit in at every place they were sent to assassinate someone. colorful clothes so that no one suspects him of a dark past. discovered llamas on his travels and was enamoured. his heterochromia became part of his infamy--"if you see a man with one eye yellow, one eye blue--you better run" type of thing. pls mr smajor pls be an assassin

-that's my biggest hope for this season, but another one is that we get villain arc jimmy! he talked a bit in some livestreams early this year or late last year that he had plans to be a villain in a series this year--he didn't do it with afterlife or with double life (so far), so i think that it's really promising for es2! and he's honestly already building up to it imo with his respect board (after all, scar becoming the villain of 3rd life started with his friendship board/passes). i just. i wanna see evil sheriff jim in full black cowboy get-up (if you've ever seen community i'm picturing the black rider in 2x23).

-i saw a theory on here the other day that sausage is also es1 sausage, searching for his friends after getting out of his alternate universe or whatever happened to him in his last episode (i don't watch sausage idk), and i fully believe that. like cc!sausage made it clear that c!sausage didn't die at the end of the season. unless we're going to have an into the sausageverse situation here idk why he would be so adamant about that.

-lizzie is a jellicle cat

-i've heard that false doesn't have memories, but is oddly suspicious of everything, like she's afraid she's being hunted. i'm really thinking she didn't start out in this world and was brought here by some unknown force. maybe pix can help her figure out her past?

-i find it hard to believe that lizzie would make an entire musical about her immortal fish goddess dnd character without having her make a guest appearance at some point.

and as for lore predictions for what happened between the seasons:

-somebody suggested that the fossil jimmy found was one of s1 gem's dragons, which i love.

-i don't think the copper king was ever found again, but i hope s2 pix unearths his history.

-s1 lizzie and jimmy are still around somewhere, but neither of them have their memories or fish features (and i don't think s1 jimmy will make an appearance, but i bet he'll be an urban legend in this season).

-at some point, someone had to build the fountain where joel got his wishes. who?

You know what’s killing me?

Scott Smajor’s total failure to practice correct lab safety while wearing a biohazard suit.

Like, the fact that everyone else doesn’t wear biohazard suits is fine, it’s just that when you’re actually trying not to be contaminated/contaminate your area, it’s horrifying to watch someone fail so completely.

So let’s talk about where Scott goes wrong, and what he can do to improve his containment game.

The first mistake Scott makes is getting changed in his closet. That’s not necessarily an issue at the moment, it’s just not correct procedure.

The next thing Scott does is fill in the lava with dirt, digs up all of the dirt, and lays dirt back down. It’s hard to tell if this breaches any containment procedures, seeing as I can’t tell if the dirt Scott places back down is the same dirt he dug up, but if it is, Scott’s effectively done nothing. Any gardener will tell you that you need to get weeds out by the root, or else the whole plant will grow back. With an area as large as that crop field, it would be difficult to be sure that there is no Corruption in that soil. Scott also makes no effort to segregate the contaminated soil from other soil he might use later.

It’s what Scott does next, though, that is truly horrifying. He goes back into the area he is trying to keep uncontaminated with the hazmat suit still on. There will be spores or seeds and sap all over that hazmat suit, and he’s just walking it into a clean zone.

Then he takes off his hazmat suit in a closet. There is no way that he’s going to avoid touching that Corruption debris all over his hazmat suit in a closet that’s as big as he is. Also, he doesn’t have anywhere to wash his hands, which is a huge no-no in lab safety.

Last, he goes over to another Corrupted area, no hazmat suit on, all I hope this Corruption has hitherto unknown no airborne aspect. You know what would be fun? Voiding the entire reason I put on that hazmat suit in the first place and handling the Corruption with my bare hands as I put it into a box! 

Why are you doing this to me, Mr. Scott Smajor?

He didn’t even put any contaminated soil in there, so if he didn’t just place it back down, he is going to place it back down eventually. If he didn’t segregate the contaminated and non-contaminated soil, it’s going to be pretty much impossible to tell what dirt is corrupted and what dirt is not, so if he uses any of his dirt, Scott risks spreading the corruption for Xornoth. 

Alright, so now that we’ve gone over all of the ways Scott killed me in that episode, let’s look at solutions to his lab safety problems!

First, we’re going to go over a new setup to maintain cleanliness. Scott’s going to need to build an outbuilding for his transition from hazmat to royal robes in order to do it safely. Given that he’s not in the real world, there’s actually not much that he needs to do while transitioning into hazmat gear, just change his skin. However, for the transition out of hazmat gear, Scott’s going to need to have at least three rooms: one to wash off the suit while he’s in it, one to wash his hands and tools (I didn’t mention tools earlier, but they’re a huge contamination issue as well), and the other to change out of his suit.

To set up the suitwash room, Scott’s going to need, like, some holy water from Aeor. He’ll need to set up a shower using this holy water in order to get any leftover Corruption off of his hazmat suit.

For the toolwash room, Scott’s going to need a handwashing station. For this, he’ll want more holy water to put in a sink. He’ll need to clean any tools he used during his cleaning session in the sink, including the elytra if he had them on at any time. After that, he’ll need to wash his hands again to make sure that there is no lingering Corruption from the tools.

He can just change out of his hazmat suit after that. It’s fine.

There are also a couple of rules Scott will need to keep in mind while working with the Corruption. First, keep materials contaminated by Corruption separate from materials that are not contaminated. Second, be sure to handle Corrupted materials only while wearing a hazmat suit, even during disposal. Third, if elytra usage becomes necessary, fly over corrupted areas as much as is possible, as air currents may dislodge seeds or spores, which is to be avoided over noncontaminated lands.

Second, we’re going to need to deal with the damage done already by the failure to observe lab safety rules.

Scott’s going to have to put all of his dirt in the Corruption containment chest. Even if most of it was never Corrupted, the dirt’s proximity to Corrupted dirt makes all of it suspect. If having to get rid of all of his dirt seems harsh, maybe he should have followed lab safety rules to begin with.

Scott’s also going to have to get another bucket or two of holy water from Aeor and use it where he walked in his hazmat suit and also everywhere he could have used his tools that he doesn’t want contaminated. When he’s done with the washing, he’s going to need to put the water in his closet and leave it there for a bit in order to deep clean the area. After Scott’s done that, he’ll need to dispose of the water, as it is now suspect, but he can’t put it with the rest of his Corrupted materials, as it would be bad if Xornoth got ahold of some of Aeor’s power.

TL;DR: Scott please. You’ve endangered yourself and your people with your failure to observe lab safety rules.

people have definitely already said this but seeing as mr smajor lurks on here somewhere, i'm gonna say it too so he has a higher chance of seeing it maybe.

Put grian and dream on an mcc team at some point. Please. Not only would it be fun to see, but I think it would have benefits for both of them! More detail, and explantions behind my reasoning below the cut. Sorry if I word any of this wrong!! And of course, no hate to either of them, i just genuinely want them both to improve and have fun!! :D

We all know Dream is really good at PvP, and tends to thrive in PvP games during mcc because of this. We also all know that Dream tends to give a bootcamp to his teammates before an event to help them improve. Grian can also pop off in PvP games! But, and I think he's said this himself, PvP is not his specialty. Once again, this isn't to say he can't pop off - he isn't the dreamslayer for nothing, afterall!! He has also majorly improved as time has gone on, notably (from my view at least) with the crossbow. Now then, Grian with whatever skills and tricks Dream teaches at his little bootcamp sessions would be absolutely unstoppable. He'd improve at PvP a little more, and maybe he'd be more interested in the PvP games during mcc!!

On the flip-side of this, Grian is the CEO of Build Mart. He's a fantastic builder in general, but his strat in Build Mart is absolutely top-tier. I don't know if Grian would be the type of person to give a little bootcamp before an mcc, and I also don't really know if he'd properly be able to considering Build Mart isn't on the practice server, but I do know he practices with his team at least, so I'm sure if somebody asked he'd help them! We all know Dream very much dislikes Build Mart, which is totally valid. Everyone has a game they really don't like, it's just how things are (for example, for me, that game is Sands of Time. Wonderful game, it just overwhelms me so I have to zone out and do something else whenever it's played). If he were teamed with Grian, maybe Grian could teach him the strat? Help him improve. Who knows? Maybe Dream may have a little more fun in Build Mart as a result?

Basically what I'm saying is, Dream and Grian have their strengths and weaknesses. This isn't to say either of them are bad players - they're both incredibly skilled. But, if they were both on the same team, maybe they could help and teach each other, improve together, and hopefully, have more fun in games they aren't particularly strong in or fond of. It would be a win for both sides, I feel.

In events like mcc, I just want to see everyone have a good time. I want everyone to improve and I want everyone to win (although obviously, I cheer for specific teams but that doesn't mean I won't be happy if that team doesn't win). If Grian and Dream were to team, even if it were just for one event, I think they'd both benefit greatly from it. Once again - this isn't to say I think either of them are bad players or that I dislike them. I am a fan of both of them, love their content. Please don't think I'm trying to hate on either, I assure you that isn't my purpose; this is just an idea I'm sure many people have had, and I'm explaining my reasoning behind it.

It's (technically still) Scott Smajor appreciation day so!!

I wanted to post a list of things that I really like about him =]

- His amazing build. Seriously wtf they're really good. I WISH I was able to create something as aesthetically pleasing as he can

- He lurks on Tumblr (and probably other sites too) and wants to enjoy content like we do!!

- The benefits of not having a public acc: you don't have to uphold an image, you can reblog/like art and people won't freak out a lot, and you get the experience of seeing the fandom from the fandom's pov!!!

- He listens to the MCC members and does a really good job of team placements. Hell, last mcc everyone was worried there would be one or two cracked teams but no!! He made them all cracked and enjoyable for all the viewers

- He's a great sport and keeps up the good vibes!! He doesn't let a loss or two get him super down, and he's overall really chill

- Gives the gays what they want- aka me. And that's the pretty builds and aesthetically pleasing mc game play. (Yes this is here twice bc they're THAT good okay? I love them sm)

There's so many other things but I'm gonna try to keep the list from getting to 1k points so!! Happy Scott Smajor appreciation day everyone, but especially Mr. Smajor himself =]

It's been while since I posted the cool lines from alternate timeline. Since @pastelicious-nova guessed most of it and others liked the idea, as a reward I'm reposting the quotes in context. You can see who said them, but the question is, is that enough to guess the plot? You can certainly try :)

First here's me making Mr. Smajor that bitch.

And then they hear the classic singsong voice ask "Did you miss me~?" and Jimmy feels a huge weight fall off his chest. "I must admit, dying was not for me, I'm too busy doing hot girl shit."

"I think next time I'll ask for a different priest, this one seems fine, but the ceremony was a 3 at best. The murder did boost the rating to 7 but since I died, I'm lowering it to 4." He jokes and is about to look around for Jimmy, when he realizes someone's holding his hand. He smiles as he looks at his husband "I promised I would protect you, didn't I?"

"You know, since you ruined my wedding, I think you should at least throw me a better one." And before anyone can protest, he brings Jimmy in front of the altar.

And here's the angst :)

Quote 1: Oops, I hurt Jimmy.

"Please, don't do this. Please, I can't protect him. I can't. I-" Jimmy gets stopped by a sob and with horror he realizes it's him. He tries to say more, but it all just ends up in him begging, pleading for the life of his husband to be spared. "If you need to take a life, just take mine, please, let him live, please." He thrashes, even if he knows he puts up as much struggle as a toddler as he's still drugged, but he needs to try. For Scott.

"Did you liked the potions? I got inspired by Scott, actually. Did you know that me and him were the first people to find the fortress and take all the netherwart? "Come on Scott, aren't you even a little bit curious? I can offer you a chance to be strong. An oppoturnity to fight back against your enemies, don't you want to protect your husband?" The king tilts his chin, as the crimson banner waves behind his head.

"Better question would be, do you want to watch his back to make sure I don't kill him? Make sure I don't set a trap like Grian and kill as many as I can? If you want me to be your killer, all you had to do was ask." Scott smiles sweetly, but they all know it's just hidden poison, waiting to strike it's target.

Scott hugs him and Jimmy relaxes into the gesture. "You don't have to be afraid anymore. I'll keep you safe." And Jimmy nods.

But who will keep me safe from you? He thinks grimly and imidiately regrets that though.

MCC Season 2 Wishlist

To preface this, you should probably know that all I desire in life is for the mcc subreddit to stop underestimating the Hermits. That being said, here is my MCC S2 wishlist.

Games

Terra Swoop Force as its own minigame/Elytra focused Ace Race equivalent- please Mr. Smajor I'm begging. It would be a new non-pvp game that utilizes a sorely underused mechanic that is a) barely used in Ace Race and b) is really only used in Rocket Spleef, which is more focused on the spleefing than the flying. I don't remember if Elytra are even used in TGTTOSAWAF, which shows their relevance there. Give coins based on placement and have rings the players must fly through that give coins as well, with harder rings awarding more coins. Hermit and builder fans would be over the moon for Grian and the DSMPers would cheer for Philza, so everyone has someone to root for

Teams and Players

This is a wishlist, it doesn't have to be realistic

Grian and Technoblade team- I have a Lot of thoughts on Grian teaming with Techno or Dream and I think Techno is the better option overall (though Grian and Dream would absolutely destroy SoT). Tldr Techno's calm vibes + doesn't show frustration + PG = good combo, and the two of them are good at the games the other doesn't like as much. Add False and uhh idk, Philza??? Idk about teammates for this one y'all I just want it to happen. Retirement arc is over Techno time to teach Grian how to axe crit

Grian and Hbomb team- hype man and known Hermit stan Hbomb94 would do wonders for Grian's confidence, and we've seen how hard Grian pops off when feeling good. False would be a great teammate here, and if we're aiming for Dodgebolt they would benefit from a (close range) PVPer or even speedbridger

Grian, Smajor, Shubble, and False team- this is complete fanservice for me personally. I love everyone here and while they seemingly lack an obvious wow factor people sleep on Scott and Shelby wayyy too much. Can you tell whose perspective I watch yet. I saw @riacte had something similar with Ren here instead of Grian and that would be pretty epic too

In Scotts eyes, they’re relatively okay, he doesn’t consider him an enemy nor an ally

But in Jimmys?? It’s more hostile because of how Scott helped fWhip multiple times, despite Scott saying “he’s not choosing a side” but actions speak louder than words
