The Pink Flamingo Bar, updated for 2024!

Among a lot of little tweaks and upgrades, the biggest changes include more space and functionality. No more backwards bartenders!

...but updated or not, it is still recognizably The Pink Flamingo that locals love.

This new edition of The Pink Flamingo was made in a squeaky clean Pleasantview so you can download safely with minimal Super Duper Hug Bug threat. The original 2018 version may be infected despite my best intentions. I advise to only download this cleaner copy going forward!

Special note: redoing this lot gave me the chance to see how much the original has been downloaded (3000+ times!!!) and I'm just so humbled to learn that this little local bar is a part of so many of your Pleasantviews. Thank you so very much, and I hope everyone continues to enjoy karaoke night on Tuesdays! ;)

Erwin knows what nobody else seems to - that it wasn't a government experiment gone wrong or an enemy bomb which destroyed that secret lab and unleashed the zombie virus - it was the ALIENS! That's right - wake up, people!

Erwin may look and sound like a kook, but his ideas are surprisingly persuasive - or maybe people are just desperate for an explanation.

☢️Todd Estrella (Sim & bio by @moyokeansimblr)

Todd is rather arrogant but he's a sweetheart deep down. He's not malicious, just big headed and bad at reading social cues to know when he's out of line. He thinks he's tough, so expect him to go into this experience EXTREMELY over-confident before realizing he knows nothing about simanity, let alone apocalyptic simanity. IE volunteering to do things he can't, being places he shouldn't. But he's an excellent hype man. I imagine this experience to be very humbling for him and bring him closer to simkind.

Todd's sexuality should the opportunity present itself, is everybody. But he does have a preference for whatever big strong man is actually the one in charge of everything.

Todd is afraid of everything but masks it with curiosity. His biggest fear is the dark and his bedroom in the UFO he arrived in had six nightlights but don't tell anyone that.

Todd thinks that because he's an alien he's immune to sim germs and grime. But he very much is not.

☢️Hernesto & Nicolas Esposito (Sims & bios by @gvaudoiin-tricou )

Hernesto was one of the scientists in charge of a failed experiment that cost him an eye. When he found Nicolas, he knew the boy was special, but what truly caught his attention was his bright red eyes...and not the fact that the boy was covered in blood, surrounded by corpses. In that moment, he knew neither of them would be alone anymore.

Nicolas never knew who his parents were, or at least doesn't remember their faces. When people started killing each other and resources became scarce everywhere, Nicolas was just a kid hiding in an alley among corpses. Maybe he killed them, maybe he didn't...he doesn't remember either way.

Anne was a rich, sheltered girl whose family wanted her to marry a much older, several-times divorced man for money.

If not for society collapsing, Anne would probably have gone along with it like a good, dutiful daughter, but now she doesn't have to. If anything good could be said to have come out of the disaster, it is her freedom. Anne would rather take her chances with the zombies, honestly.

(This is my take on a post-apocalyptic Anne of Cleves, lol)

They were the fruit of an affair between a rich Pleasantview socialite and a local man, and as a result she has grown up with many complicated feelings regarding their family.

On the one hand, they are away from all of that now - on the other, ruins are awfully cold and uncomfortable to sleep in compared to the cushy Goth manor, to say nothing of rampaging zombies...

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! I have a special gift for each of you this month. First of all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for all the support and love I receive from you while creating mods for The Sims 3. 

Every comment, download, and positive feedback motivates me to keep innovating and sharing my work with this amazing community. 

To thank you for all this support, I am delighted to share an exclusive and special world with you. I know some of you are very curious and interested in my tiny worlds, and I understand that not everyone has the chance to play in them. That's why I spent the last 35 days working live on this tiny world, which was created together with my YouTube community. Pleasantville, intended to be a spiritual successor to Pleasantview (in the sense of recreating that suburban and small community atmosphere), features 30 lots and many stunning buildings.

Although these buildings are empty, they are an open invitation for each of you to add your personal touch and creativity, transforming this world into something even more extraordinary. If you don't feel confident doing this, I recommend keeping an eye on CJ Plays' channel, as he will be sharing a series of videos while he builds and gives Pleasantville his own unlimited creative vision!

I hope you enjoy and have fun exploring and customizing every corner of this world. It's a small gesture to show my gratitude and give back all the love I receive.

Recommendations: To achieve the same vision, I recommend using version V2 of my Ts3 Beta Lighting Mod. The mods used are available with the download, and there is a CUSTOM version of my Get Out mod for Tiny Worlds. This way, if you love using Get Out, it will ensure that your Sims don't just walk on foot in this small world.

Downtown, Mendoza Lane houses, slightly improved over the maxis originals, but still very simple.

They're nothing special, but they will be handy to have as starters for future generations of Pleasantview.

Still working on my Pleasantview save for Hylewood, I'm putting a lot of work specially on the sims but the houses are very detailed too. (80% ish done with all the houses)

Right Now pleasantview is on version 9, before I used to try to make them as similar to TS2 as posible, but now I want to make them a bit less cartoony while keeping everything maxis match and still trying to reflect the sims personalities as much as I can.

What do you think? I'd love to see any feedback or suggestions <3

remington harris' apartment. i quite like how it turned out (these colours are bold for me lol)

to me, remington has always been an integral part of the pleasantview cast (just like kaylynn). i've always played him gay, and as a youngster i lived out my little gay fantasy life through him many a time 😅

he therefore holds a special place in my heart.

this time around, his storyline is that he comes from quite a rich, prestigious family, but recently became estranged from them. they expected him to follow his economics degree up with a successful corporate career, but he's not about that. he took what savings he already had access to from his grandmother's passing, and rented a little apartment here in pleasantview. he’ll get by as a maid for now. maybe he'll reconnect with his family again one day?

Gameplay stuff!!

Hi! I just wanted to make this post because it's currently the game/save I've been playing and IDK I'm in a sharing mood today. Putting it in a read more because it's lengthy and I'm pretty sure only a few people will be interested in seeing it.

My save right now is kind of an alternate version of Pleasantview because I love that world a lot and I wanted to play in it (but not really in it - do you get what I mean?)

I'm mostly playing as Kaylynn Langerak and her life as a maid trying to work her way up in life and build her own business. However, between juggling her maid job and her love life with her landlord (oops... in my defense they have AMAZING compatibility), she's really not doing much in that department.

I've also been playing with her family, the Langeraks. Kaylynn's aunt, Zelda Mae has been my favorite to play with in that family because she's so fun. She's basically a failed indie artist turned interior decorator who's also trying to get herself back into the dating scene.

A close second favorite in their household is Kaylynn's brother, Parker, who's pretty much always trying to get girls at clubs (and fails at it massively).

A special showcase of their home because I love the way I made it.

Anyway, here's a rundown of some of the decisions I've made:

Kaylynn Langerak currently lives in the Futures Past apartment (on the main strip of Oasis Springs)

Don Lothario currently lives in the apartment buildings near the gym on the lower right portion of the map

The Brokes currently live in their trailer on the poorer side of Oasis Springs

The Lotharios (Don's parents) live in the subdivision area of Oasis Springs

The Langeraks live in the upper portion of San Sequioa (the house that's a little cut off in the picture above)

The Newbies (Mary-sue Pleasant's parents) also live nearby in a rental apartment a little ways from the Langeraks

The Pleasants currently live in their original home on the southern portion of San Sequioa. I haven't really fleshed them out and really played with them because the Langeraks are just more interesting for me. However, I did make them hire Kaylynn as their maid (using the NPC maid job) and I'm currently working on having Daniel and Kaylynn have their affair.

The Fiorelios (Don's maternal grandparents) also live in the cottages near the Pleasants

Anyway, that's the save so far!! IDK, just felt like making this post haha

I'm currently preparing the first episode of my Goth family story. It's handled like Sunset Died, first the picture, then the text. And some of the episodes are quite long. So I always have to think about where I can make a cut/transition to the next episode. 🙂 It was a long time ago that this story was written. The beginning might be a bit thrown together...

A little info on the side: The story came about by chance when I looked at a new world: Pleasantview Valley. This world was actually uninhabited, but there was also a save game for this world. When I started it for the first time, I started with a completely different household. And then I saw the Goth family's house opposite. The special thing about this save game is that the creator of it left individual pictures for each household in their memories (albums). Just like you know from Sims 2. The same is true for the Goth family. There were some pictures there that showed that something must have happened to Bella. And so I started to tell my own interpretation of her disappearance. I don't know if I can bring the first episode today, but tomorrow for sure 🥰 I wish you a magical day!😘⭐

Arkhelios Adventures

Dear Adam,

It's happened! I finally got the okay to graduate from this semester! They're sending me home! I'm going to get to see you again!

I had to walk down the creepy hallway to the high mage's office and meet with her privately.

She basically said that there was nothing more for them to teach me now that my magic works properly and that I'd be better served by following a "more traditional course of study".

Basically, I'm the strongest student they have. Lukas all but said so, and the high mage probably agrees.

She mentioned that I should probably be studying demonic magic over formal magic, but she didn't know of any demonic schools that would admit me. I might have to learn formal magic first and then try to find a demonic program at university. I have the proper foundation and knowledge of blood magic's history and theory, which will get me through high school at least. She said that she'd write me a letter of recommendation if I could find a program, so I can't have been too bad of a student here.

I know that your class schedule still has a few weeks left in the semester, so they're not sending me back to our school. Apparently, I have a "special request" to fulfill from an anonymous source before they're officially releasing me, but at least I'll be back in Pleasantview! My dads are still on their demonic honeymoon, so they won't miss me; I'll probably be home around the same time they will. I wonder who's behind this special request? Maybe it's the council and they want me to teach blood magic classes or to join the coven early. That would be awesome. Either way, I can't wait to see you in person again!!

so bella goth is a secret agent in ts4... since i watched spyxfamily i haven't been able to keep that au out of my head for ts4 bella...

what if the bachelors were a nuclear family of specially trained agents. their mission is to protect the goth family's secret inventions (let's say the life elixir) from outside dangers and threats from extraterrestrial forces.

-in ts3 bella is a kid who befriends mortimer... (because it is part of her mission to find a close contact from the goth and protect him) but they end up falling for each other. she never tells him about her real identity though, because bella is a family sim and doesn't want to endanger her husband or children (the less they know the better)

-her disappearances in ts2 and ts4 is due to her missions. in ts2 she meets a terribly fate during a mission and disappears, it is the real universe where she fails her mission and ends up kidnapped by aliens from lunar lakes.

-ts4 is a time loop and alternative timeline created by time travel.

-cassandra goth who is a scientist in ts2 invented the time machine. she and alexander had decided to use the time machine to find out what happened to their mum.

-however they are attacked by aliens, cassandra dies in the attack and alexander survives and escapes with the time machine... the time machine breaks down and he is stuck in sunset valley too many years in the past.

-don lothario also fled with him with the machine.

-don lothario was bella's assistant and right hand during her missions. the only person who knew her identity, he also was present during the mission where bella disappears.

-the time travel created a loop in the universe... and that is why pleasantview became willow creek and why all the pleasantview townies in ts4 has had their lore modified.

News on New Pleasantview

Hello everyone. There were a few things I didn't catch when I put this town together. There were some issues with hair that appeared because I forgot I still had the 4t2 Hair conversion on after I took the photos for the storytelling in addition to some memory things I missed, spelling errors and storyline disconnects. This is all in the process of being fixed. As always Plumbtales came to my rescue and noticed a lot of things I missed in my sleepy attempts to put this together. I worked on this during late night, and I am still pretty new to putting a whole hood together, so mistakes were naturally going to happen. However, I do have some great friends in the creator community who are well versed in the game's mechanics. And boy have they bailed me out when I have questions or when I roll something out that can use a little tweaking. Thanks to all of you and you all know who you are 😘. Special thanks to @plumbtales for providing their expertise, their OCD and attention to detail.

Anyway, there will be an update soon so stay tuned.
