Não lembro a fonte de como eu fiquei sabendo da ideia, mas era um senhor no Instagram que propunha que, num determinado dia, postássemos um vídeo da gente tocando Stand By Me num flood pela paz. Eu só achei lindo e entrei na vibe.

E eu não só não consigo não tocar a música inteira, tanto que fiz um post com três vídeos kkkkk, como também gravei de pijama, sem um pingo de vergonha hahahaha

Neste vídeo, aceitei o convite de  João Tostes​ (@tocaukulele) para me unir a todos do movimento ukulelista no Brasil e no mundo e a todos aqueles que vivem este momento difícil de distanciamento social, quarentena e isolamento por causa da pandemia do Coronavírus, e apresento a minha gravação cover da música Let it be - The Beatles. Para quem já conhece a música, sabe que, embora a letra sirva para alimentar a fé em Mother Mary - "Mãe Maria" / "Ave Maria" - e na minha opinião isso é ótimo!, a canção foi criada a partir de um sonho que Paul McCartney teve com sua mãe Mary McCartney que havia morrido há uns 10 anos até então. Mas, enfim,... independente de sua religião, a mensagem que se repete como uma mantra durante toda música, e que acredito ser o mais importante neste letra, é Let it be - "Deixe acontecer" / "Deixe estar", no sentido de que "Tudo vai ficar bem!"... É uma mensagem de motivação para você que vive momentos difíceis em sua vida, em sua família, em sua cidade, em seu país e no mundo. Acredite, tudo vai ficar bem apesar de todos os contra-tempos. We know what happens to those who don’t know their history, but what about those who remix it? Sound Bytes began their leap into history today by searching for famous speeches to create their own Vocal Sound Byte remix. Music is closely tied to historical events, and in many ways, creates it’s own footprint in the history books as such. It’s our hope that we can add to that footprint by creating our own remixes and voices, and putting them out in the world.
