Can we get a part two for your motherly s/o? Except this time with the nations that have/had kid colonies. And the dynamic they have is a teamwork between a romantic yandere (Britain, France, Spain) and a platonic yandere(America, Canada, Romano).

They met when the chibi got lost and she helped them get back to their caretakers. But the chibi got attached to her so she decided to visit them when she has time. But as years go by both father and son are getting uncomfortably clingy towards her, her motherly nature filled in the absence left by the father and her concerned and nurturing nature for the adults made some days easier for them that they can't help but fall in love with her. It reached to the point where they really believed that she is their mother/wife and scared away anyone who dare tried to take her away from them. Even when the chibi grew up and is independent, he still supports his former caretaker.

"She's my/his wife, she just doesn't know it yet"

This one made my head spin @~@. So many ways to go about this.

May need to make a husband vs husband post after this. What do you guys think?

England:

England is a bit of a hardhead and a little hard to get along with at first, but he'll come along and appreciate your efforts eventually.

For a little while, when you first started coming around with America, he was a little jealous of you. England has never taken care of anyone before, but you seem to be able to do it with ease. He most likely will throw you out the first handful of times you come around just because he won't admit that he doesn't exactly know what he's doing and needs help. Only after America throws constant tantrums for you to come back will England finally put his ego to the side and call you back.

England is used to others being cocky and even very passive-aggressive around him, so when you first walked in the door and you gave him a long hug, he was very caught off guard. He even treated you horribly. Why are earth are you wing so kind to him?

America on the other hand, couldn’t have been happier to finally see you around again. He had someone else who would play with him. If you can keep up with him too, all the better.

Fairly quickly after that whole endeavor, America grew close to you. England was a very busy man and had lots of things that needed his constant attention. It was nice to have you around to fill in when England couldn’t be around. Not to mention, you were a little more easy-going than him too. America just felt more at ease when you were around. England wasn’t yelling at him as much. You made England softer and kinder towards him.

It was nice. To England, it was almost like you were married. Like a family. That world never failed to flutter England; family. You guys were a family. A real family. Finally, just like he’s always wanted. Unlike his nasty brothers that were always so rude to him. He had you; the glue to it all.

As America become older and started fights over independence, things began to grow tense. England was terrified of the feeling that his perfect family was beginning to fall apart. What was worse, you supported it. You tired to argue that America was grown now but England was too stubborn to let his family go.

England fought tooth and nail to preserver his family, but in the end, America still managed to get away from him and gain his freedom. That’s when things took a turn for the worse for you.

You betrayed him. You supported America leaving and because of your help, America managed to break away from him and gain his independence. You may be America’s mother, but you’re still his wife. You’re supposed to support him above all others.

You will be punished for this and England will be very snappy but also clingy to you for a while. Don’t hold it against him though, it was all your fault for breaking apart his family.

At one point, America will try to step in between the two of you out of concern. England has shown some dark sides of hisself thought out their time in war and was afraid for you safety. Knowing England for many years himself, America just knows that England is up to some terrible things when it involves you. Especially when he’s well aware of England’s affections for you.

The two will most likely fight often over you. Bickering in meetings especially.

“Why isn’t (y/n) allowed to come meetings anymore!?”

“Has anyone else been able to contact (y/n) yet?! Or is she just yours!”

These are all true, you haven’t been present in meetings in years and anytime someone tried to contact you, England will throw a fit and forbid you from responding to them. They’ll poison your mind and take you away from him. England’s already lost his brothers and son, he won’t lose his wife too.

The dynamic between these two is serious competition. Your son, America, will do anything he can to protect you while your husband, England, will do whatever it takes to keep what’s left of his family with him.

France:

France already had a good handle on being a good parent. Not to mention that Canada is a much easier child to handle than America is. However, France is still over the fence at the thought of you wanting to join his family.

With you around, his family is complete just like France has always wanted. Countries can produce children like regular humans can, so this was the best next thing. He, like England, has been dreaming for this moment. A family to call their own.

France will often brag about how wonderful his family is now that you're here. Especially to England just to rub in his face. France just couldn't be happier with you here. No one is going to take this euphoric feeling away from him.

You thought he was just being funny, but to France, he was serious. Ever since...you know who, he's dreamed of having a wife and a family to call his own, as I've mentioned before.

You'd go along with the joke, thinking that he was just being France. That was until France began to invest in your relationship.

It started off small and you ignored or played into them for Canada. Holding Canada's hand together, singing the little nation to sleep. Even cooking together was all things that you were doing for Canada's sake, not his. You didn't mind if they helped France out too . You wanted to lighten his burden as a caretaker. That was until things started to get a little too uncomfortable for you.

France had tried to kiss you on his way out the door. Luckily, he only managed to kiss your cheek when you turned away from him. You didn't wish to alarm Canada as you knew he was a nervous nelly, so you knew you'd have a discussion with France when Canada was asleep tonight.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. You should have just run. Called England up to watch Canada and ran that day, because when France came home that night, it would be already too late.

He was having a secret meeting with your bosses today. Well, it wasn't intended to be a dirty secret. It was meant to be a surpise. France had decided a long time ago that he was going to marry you. Today was the day he'd finally put it all into place.

With a smile on his face and the most beautiful ring he could find, France practically skipped home that day. Excited to ask you the big question. France was a little worried about you avoiding his kiss that morning, but he pushed it to the side as just morning brain. If just a kiss can get you so nervous just wait until he tells you the big news.

When you rejected his proposal, he was shocked. What do you mean you don't love him? Isn't that why you lived here? To join his family?

No. No. No. No. NO! He won't have it. You do love him! France knows you do. You're just nervous and confused but don't worry, France will be a good fiance and husband and take care of you every step of the way. It's not like you can really say no when your boss already signed the papers.

Canada will be confused as he suddenly sees you less and less. Where did you go? What does France mean by needing to "heal" you? Are you sick? While France has his hands full with conditioning you he won't have a lot of time to spend with Canada. Being that he doesn't receive attention from others, this will impact Canada greatly. He'll start to cling to you more when you are allowed out. Unknowingly pushing the idea that your defiance is only hurting the family.

Spain:

Little Romano is quite the handful, so when you came around to offer your help Spain was more than happy to accept. If only Romano would behave himself and not catcall you.

What is he to do about that boy. :')

To Spain's surprise, he does see Romano settling down at some point during your visit. Romano just can't act tough forever. Not when you're pampering him like no other. Spain almost couldn't believe it when he saw Romano curled up against your side while you slowly pat his head. Careful not to touch his precious curl. Your voice was so beautiful as you sang a soft tune from your homeland. Romano was blissfully listening with a soft smile; Nealy asleep.

That day, you looked so heavenly in Spain's eyes. Like a goddess who tamed a wild beast. He almost couldn't believe that this wouldn't last forever. You would have to go home eventually as you were only a visitor.

If only there was a way you three could stay like this forever.

After that, Spain made sure to invite you over all the time. With the help of a fussy Romano who just wouldn't calm down until he saw you again, you spend an enormous amount of time at Spain's house. Much to their delight.

Whenever you were around, Spain could delve into his fantasy about being a happy family and Romano could have something that his stupid younger brother can never take away from him.

Despite Romano's hard exterior, he really is just a scared little child who was hurt by the abandonment of Rome and the overshadowing of his preppier brother, Italy. All he ever wanted was to feel seen and wanted. You were perfect.

You never once compared him to Italy or picked on him. You were always so calm and gentle but knew just how to put him back in his place. (You are quite terrifying when tempered). For that, Romano holds a lot of respect for you that carries on into his adulthood. He most definitely sees you like a mom. His mom. Not his brothers; Just his.

Spain is more than happy to use Romano's perspective of you to his advantage. If Romano sees you as his mom, then that must mean that you're also his wife. The three of you are a little, happy family.

Being a loving country, it doesn't really take Spain too long to propose to you. He was just so certain that you were dying to say yes. When you mention that you only see Spain as a friend and that you were only looking to help with Romano it shatters him. What do you mean you don't love him? Isn't that why you come around so often?

Spain takes your rejection very harshly. His mind just won't stop spinning with all these nagging questions and insecurities. Could you be seeing someone else? Taking care of another person's child?

This won't hold well for you. Spain most likely will be taken over by his rolling thoughts and lock you in his basement until you reconsider. He doesn't want to scare Romano, so he'll tell him lies about you and that this is all normal between couples. Romano will be too young to understand that what Spain is doing is really wrong. Besides, he does want you you stay with him too. Romano can't risk losing his mom.

You are dealing with countries; immortal humans that have experience bloody wars, battles, and have lived for hundreds, thousands, of years.

Nonetheless, this may work on certain countries, but not all.

The only person I can think that this can work on is France.

He's the country of love, all love, and he's not any different with you.

Not to mention, he's the one that will spoil you the most with dresses, accessories, games - whatever you want! Simply ask, and you'll get it at the snap of your fingers.

America, maybe. I read an old headcanon somewhere that he's most vulnerable when he's asleep.

Other than that, don't mistake his cheerfulness for weakness, because this man is more on-guard than any of the other countries next to Russia.

Oh, and don't even try with Russia. If anything, he'll play those mind games right back at you.

Asian tiger dad China is straight-up impossible to mind-fuck with.

In fact, he absolutely will not tolerate it and will, without a doubt, punish you for it.

China has lived for thousands of years and counting, he knows when he's being played.

England too will not take it, and will also punish you if you tried.

That being said, if somehow you bamboozled France or escape while America is fast-asleep. The moment they find out you're gone, prepare for chaos.

There will be search teams sent out across the globe for you.

There will be investigations.

And there will be BLOOD.

All of them, all of them, will search the ends of the Earth and back to find you.

And when they do, any luxuries, trust, and privileges you have - poof - gone.

They'll amp up their security.

They'll amp up their watch on you.

And they'll amp up their punishments.

AXIS

Obviously, Italy would be the one that allowed you to escape.

He's the most lenient and softest country out of both the Axis and the Allies, next to Romano, that it wouldn't be surprising if they find out you escaped under his watch.

Germany is a hardened leader and soldier, and will promptly shut down any of your attempts at manipulating him.

Japan is no different, but he's more apt to scold you and lecture you about it.

If you still keep it up, time for punishments.

Once they find out you escape, they will do the same thing as the Allies would do, only worse.

Germany will start investigating and tried to narrow down your location.

Japan will go the extra mile and will personally hunt you down, and try to cut off, and block, any other routes or hiding places you could've gone to.

Oh, and you bet there will be bodies left behind.

Once they get you back, same thing will happen, any freedom you had previously is swiftly taken away.

Their security, and watch is increased to the MAX.

And all their trust in you has disappeared into thin air.

Their punishments can range from being exhausting (Germany), strict (Japan), or suffocating (Italy).

Unless you wanna make life worse for you than it already is, I don't recommend doing that.

Bonus:

There are more characters that I wanted to add to who are also considered a part of the Axis and Allies.

You may be able to manipulate Canada but its highly unlikely, because he might caught on to what you're trying to do.

Spain is a no-go. He will more than likely wave it off, but may make a stern and/or subtle warning under a sickly sweet smile to not try him.

It's very likely this could work on Romano. Dude has such a soft-spot for you, it's almost as bad as Italy.

Somewhat protective but also composed.

Spain does not seem like the type who would isolate you from your friends. Actually, he encourages you to have a social life, to an extent. Typically, he'll let you hang out with Romano (he gives Romano fare warnings to be nice to you, and since the Southern part Italy is nice to women, he unsurprisingly obeys Spain's order), France and Prussia (now here he'd set strict boundaries like no touching you and no comments about love or doing things out of the ordinary that would give you ideas that could potentially harm you).

You're allowed to have your free will, he'll even give you advice on how to be socially active or avoid socially awkward situation, and would support you during times when you're overwhelmed with, well, anything. On the outside, he's always bright and seem lighthearted to your friends, but once you start having relationships, he would secretly threaten who you choose to love, because truly, he knows intimidation and know when to use it.

And that'd be to anyone who dare do anything he deems harsh towards his daughter. He knows when to act cruel and has mastered at soullessly staring at his enemies, which is something he'll imply to anyone who dares do anything bad at you. Hell, he'll even break every bit of their bones once you feel uncomfortable with said lover and destroy their existing dignity 'til all what's left of them is a past they ought to wish to never remember.

Come home crying and he'll guarantee that he's going to throw everything that he planned out of the window to comfort you with any problems. Failed at something? Don't worry, he's there to let you cry or vent or whatever you suggest. Movie nights, late-night walks, ice cream, you name it. He's trying to be the best father, after all. Spain would sacrifice everything to make his daughter happy, and when you are feeling horrible in a particular day; would he dismiss schedules, meetings, even time with his friends, just to show you he does his efforts. You're practically living with a dream dad.

He's very adamant on doing the chores, if I were to be honest. Because of Romano constantly lazing around and only doing his chores when he wants to- Spain has been accustomed to doing the tasks at his house. He's fine with you being responsible, but you're more on to be spoiled rather than being forced to do things. Cooking, mainly, is something he'll do for multiple reasons. One of it is to show you his culture, the other is to assure you what home tastes like. Having a bad day, too, would result in tons of food in your plate to binge on. Menial tasks like picking up trash, or wiping the table, etc. is generally something he'll appreciate you doing.

But as the country of passion, he'd rather you spend your time on something you're passionate about. No need for something as small as chores! No, you do what you prefer to do and he'll be your right-hand-man in any hobby or job you're willing to do. Model? Chef? Psychiatrist? Anything? Well, he would be by your side. As long as it won't harm you, then he sees no point in stopping what you like. Though, he has some rules he'd like for you to abide, and one of it is being involved in self-threatening situations. He does not want you have any funny business with his enemies.

But overall, he's actually very normal for a yandere and would keep a mellow behavior with you. Sometimes he'd be clingy, but you could point that out and he'll give you your needed space.

🧡You might have been an acquaintance of Childe, he sees you everyday, you sometimes being happy, sad, excited, clumsy and a hard worker. As time passes by, he finds himself falling for you so deep that it becomes hard for him to not see others as a threat towards you. So he creates a situation where your family has no option but to marry you to him and he will welcome you like no one else, you would never be able to see his obsessive love unless he shows you or you observe him.

🧡A wedding that Childe gives to his Darling would be grand, showing off all his wealth to you so that he can be a better man for you than any other man. He can make all your wishes come true except that one thing, leaving him. The satisfying smile on his face when you get amused by his efforts was worth seeing.

🧡Childe is the type to choose location :- Egypt for honeymoon, he did love seeing you in their traditional dress. Pretty and all dolled up walking towards an excited Childe sitting on a luxurious chair waiting to see his lovely darling. Oh Childe won't force you into anything but his affection will be playful, lingering slightly around you leaving you wanting for more even if you don't want to.

Zhongli 🖤

🖤Not every person you encountered with, was good, one day you got bumped into a jerky guy, who was tried to pull into an alley. It was a horrific moment for you, lucky a young man saved you from him and dragged him away from you. You wanted to thank him when everyone was watching, he was the only one who took action, so when you saw him, you were happy, thanked him and treated him lunch. You always smiled so brightly at him which made his heart flutter. Zhongli sends a wedding proposal to your family for you, making you angry but your family was happy a reputed, young handsome man was perfect for their daughter so they forcefully married you off to him. Somewhere inside you accepted him too because he is a good man.

🖤All the options would be in front of you on the table as Zhongli tells you all the details with a faint smile on his face asking you to select one of your liking, he is pretty sure that you would be happy with the options he gave you, unable to understand your rebellious desires. He like seeing you in white ruffled shirts with tight black pants.

🖤Zhongli is the type to choose location :- Spain or Scotland (Forest theme, Greenery), a silent location where no one would interfere with both of you. Zhongli has everything prepared. He prefers to approach like a gentleman in a traditional way, holding hands, forehand kisses and so on, even though you shiver a bit every time he closes the distance between you two. Being with you he experiences joys that he never did before and that's why he doesn't want it to disappear, if only begging would make you stay then he shall do it.

Diluc ❤️

❤️To you Diluc was just a childhood with whom you got separated because of your dad's works. You really loved him but it was platonic, when you got back to Mondstadt, you got to know what happened to Diluc in your absence, you felt guilty even tho it wasn't your fault, so you decided to spend your free time with him by helping him or just accompanying him. The forgotten love he felt towards you got awakened once more and this time it was obsessive, paranoid and possessive. Marrying your childhood sweetheart wasn't a bad idea, so how could you refuse him when you had no marriage proposals other than his.

❤️He might have dreamed about marrying you when was young multiple times but it got lost as he grew up struggling but when he saw you again and got close to you that was the moment he felt like his fate is locked with you. If it isn't you then it could be no one else. Diluc let's you wear anything you want but still prefers you wearing his clothes instead.

❤️Diluc is the type to choose location :- Maldives (any beach location), he gives you freedom to roam anywhere you want but if you still try to run then there are guards everywhere hidden it's not like he lets you disappear from his sight. Diluc is a patient man but he still yearns for your love desperately. He might not touch you, afraid of you hating him more than you already do but he dreams of having a family with you, he isn't sure that he could be a better father perhaps he can with you.

Kaeya 💙

💙Getting cheated by a guy who you dated for timepass wasn't heartbreaking but it was ego breaking. One day your friends forced you to come with them for drinking wine, that's where you caught your boyfriend cheating, which pissed you off. In a drunken state you flirted with a handsome young man asking him to be your boyfriend so that you could show your ex how better you are and there are men better than him. Totally unaware of how amusing and interesting that young man would find you. At first he approached you for fun, even he wasn't able to notice how he got captivated by you until your ex asked you to come back.

💙Wedding? Is that necessary since it's only a tradition and nothing else, you are his, he is yours, Kaeya is not to blame because you came to him first. Still if you want a wedding he doesn't mind wearing a tuxedo for you. Kaeya does selects clothes for you hours and hours.

💙Kaeya is the type to choose location :- Switzerland (cold, snow places). Being with Kaeya was not boring but he gets extremely annoying when he is clingy and all over you. It pisses you that he doesn't know how to respect your personal space. You hate him for forcing you to marry him and manipulating you into it, he understands that too but really can you find any better man than him who loves you overwhelmingly. You do push him away, it makes him sad and afraid but he doesn't show it to you. He loves it when you snuggle towards him unknowingly, to which he gladly accepts. It's not everyday you are so welcoming towards him. He too wants to be accepted by you.

I just read your Yandere Spain going after a Witch country reader. So hear me out on this one, What if England was low-key still into is ex... and is a Yandere. Like reason why they broke up with him in the first place was he was becoming a power hunger bastard they warned him he'll become if he doesn't stop or at least slow down; and he was becoming to over bearing and controlling in their relationship ( this was back when he was the British Empire BTW ). Bonus points if Both America and Canada is platonic Yandere for the witch country. Basically the reader was the mother and care taker they never really had. The reader took care of them more than England did and they were pretty close up until England made them break up with him.

(A/N:) Anon you’re such a big brain...I just had to write a little story for this 👐

You couldn’t stand any of it anymore.

His persistent need to know everything about you, how he started controlling every little thing in your life as your relationship progressed, the way he would manipulate you into thinking that you were in the wrong for wanting to break it off multiple times. It all felt so draining.

"No one other than myself would even think of getting close to you. After all, who would want to be with such a small, lonely country that has barely anything to offer?" "What about Alfie and Mattie? You know how much they love you, and you’re just going to let them down like that? You’re just going to let us down like that?" "You’re only overreacting. So just stay with us, okay?" "You’re nothing without me."

"You belong with us, love. Can’t you see that?"

The words he spoke lingered with you everyday, chipping away at the little confidence you had left and slowly breaking the happy facade you had always tried putting on. Even your two little boys started to seem like nothing but a reminder of your shackles.

You felt as if you were a mere marionette; each inch of you being controlled by his strings as he formed you into his idea of a perfect little darling.

It was becoming tiring. The mind games, the puppeteering...all of it.

And so, you had decided on running away from it all, no matter how much you just wanted to brush it off and stay with your ‘happy’ little family, no matter how much you hated doing his plan. You packed your bags before carrying out your plan, waiting until night fell to finally sneak out. You, of course had plastered that usual smile on your face, the gesture just feeling...fake and empty to you now, but you couldn’t bring yourself to care anymore. You had to pretend everything was going according to his plans.

Arthur was a smart man, but even he got blinded by simple gestures at times.

you hated doing this, but decided to suck it up and carry on with your little plan. Everything was going well, it seemed like no one noticed you acting a bit...off, and you only had to put your children to sleep before finally sneaking out.

"Mother, are you okay?"

Ah, speak of the devil.

You blinked, finally noticing said child before you. He had a worried look on his face, the nudging he gave your shoulder eventually stopping as he saw you paying attention again.

"Ah...! You’re okay, I thought you had forgotten about me..." a shy smile graced upon his lips, fingers slightly fidgeting with each other. You smiled at him, seeing him being enough to somehow cheer you up a bit.

"Of course I wouldn’t forget about you, Mattie." You pulled the child into your arms, hugging him. "I love you way too much for that! Besides, you’re my little angel." You said in a quiet voice, as to not wake up his twin brother.

It broke your heart having to say this all while you planned on running away, basically abandoning them. Arthur’s previous words, while you didn’t want to admit it still stuck with you, and you started to have second thoughts...almost wanting to give up on the plan and stay with your two little boys whom you loved way too much.

"Mattie, can you promise me something?" You suddenly spoke up, patting the boy’s hair.

...but it was for the better. You could only sit there and pray that the children you took care of turned into fine men while you were away, unlike their father.

The Canadian nodded, eyes looking up at you in innocent curiosity. "Promise me that no matter what happens you’ll forever stay the same, sweet boy that I’ve always known...even if I were to disappear one day." You held him a bit tighter, the troubled expression on your face hidden away from him.

"Mother...?" He gripped onto your clothing, confusion written all over his face. The question seemed innocent, but he couldn’t help but pick up the strange tone in your voice, which he couldn’t recognize...and it worried him.

"Please just answer." You pressed a bit more, though your voice was barely above a whisper.

Matthew opened his mouth, about to answer before a booming voice interrupted him.

"Not fair! I want hugs too!" Alfred, who you didn’t notice until now yelled. The boy pounced on his brother and tried pulling him away.

"Nu uh! You always hog her attention away from me!" Matthew resorted, clinging onto you with all of his tiny might.

"Lies! You’re the only attention seeker here!"

"That’s because everyone else forgets about me you meanie! Even you and father!!" Matthew cried, and you couldn’t help but snort a little at the remark, despite how sad you found it to be...poor boy.

You watched the two bicker, amusement written all over your face. It was better to enjoy the short amount of time you had left with your two boys.

"There, enough fighting you two. It’s past bed time," you clapped your hands, grabbing their attention. "you wouldn’t want me to tell father about you two misbehaving, do you?"

"No ma’am!" A small chuckle escaped from your lips, seeing the children immediately freezing and crawling back to their beds. Guess you weren’t the only one intimidated by Arthur, eh?

You went over to Alfred, giving the boy a soft kiss on the cheek and wishing him a goodnight before making your way to his brother, repeating your previous actions.

"Sweet dreams, I love you." Was the last thing you said, sparing them one last glance before closing the door behind you.

It felt as if your heart was clenching, already feeling a sickening emptiness in your chest as you just stood in front of the door, trying to recollect your thoughts.

There was no use in sulking, you had to go. Now.

And so you scurried away, making your way towards the front door. The few items you truly needed were already brought down to your house, with the help of magic of course. You couldn’t waste any more time being here.

You disregarded things such as clothing and other unnecessary things, only caring about the potions and magic handbooks that you had brought along the way. You couldn’t even begin to imagine what Arthur could do with these in his possession— recalling that one of them had a receipt for a never-ending love potion, and god did you fear what he could do with that...even a stronger witch such as yourself would have trouble dealing with that, especially if it was casted upon yourself.

...what a dangerous situation you put yourself in. You should’ve never interacted with that bastard in the first place.

You sighed, snapping out of your thoughts and turned another corner. The house was large, and you had found yourself getting lost multiple times...but it wasn’t the time for any of that, you had to get out. Now.

And luckily, you soon found yourself standing in front of a familiar, large door. You took a deep breath, relieved that you managed to make it here without the idiot finding you.

"(Y/N)?" A voice spoke from behind you. "It’s late, where are you going?"

Oh, never mind.

You turned back, facing the very man you wanted to run away from. It was obvious that he was woken up from his sleep, seeing that he was wearing his pajamas while lazily rubbing his eyes. A small candle was in his hands, most likely to help him look through the dark mansion halls.

"Why are you awake?" Was all you said.

"I was waiting... I wanted to rest with you, but you never came." Arthur said, slight disappointment evident in his voice as he walked over to you. "Now answer my question, where the fuck are you going?"

You stayed silent, merely staring at the man before averting your gaze. "Away from this house, away from you." He froze, eyes widening as he seemed to process your words

"Can you repeat that? I...i don’t think I heard you correctly," he lightly tilted his head to the side. "you wouldn’t do something that foolish, would you?"

"Oh, I would." You took light steps back from him, distancing yourself from your boyfriend— no, ex-boyfriend. "I’m not doing this anymore, Arthur. This is becoming too much for me."

"And? What about it? I pour my heart and soul for this relationship... and you just run away like that? Love, you can’t just do that..." every step you took was repeated by him, his hands clenching into fists as he tried so,so hard to not just burst right then and there.

"I know, I’m sorry but I just...I can’t." You looked down at your feet, avoiding his piercing gaze. "Look out for them while I’m gone." And so, you turned around completely and walked towards the door, almost reaching towards the handle before abruptly getting stopped by a hand pulling you back.

"No!" Arthur yelled, his grip only tightening on you.

"England, you’ll wake up the kids-"

"Shut up." The man didn’t say anything for a while, trying to calm himself down. "Call me Arthur...please just call me Arthur."

"How about we just get inside and— and drink some tea while talking? I still have some sweets left from earlier today, so we could add that." He offered, pulling you closer towards him. "Please?”

You were looking at his hand, the hand that brung you comfort so long ago...but you couldn’t help but feel your skin crawling every time he held you now, fear overtaking you at the thought of what he could possibly do with them.

He was dangerous.

"Why?" Was all you could bring yourself to say. Arthur‘s grip softened, wide eyes looking at your downcast ones.

"...Why?" He repeated, "why what?" his eyebrows furrowed.

"All of this, why did you do it? For what?"

"Is it because you want my land? You already said it yourself, my country is basically useless...so why are you so persistent on keeping me here? Or perhaps it’s because of Alfie and Mattie? I’m sure they...wouldn’t really mind me going, they still have Francis and you after all."

"So why? You could have everything you wanted without me."

"Darling..." his eyes faltered for a minute, most likely taking all of it in and thinking of what to do. Arthur opened his mouth, wanting to say something-

"Arthur, do you even love me?"

Before being interrupted by your voice, which slightly cracked.

The man could only stare at you, mouth slightly agape. Whatever he wanted to say was completely forgotten about, instead being overtaken by his sudden shock— then panic. "Darling...what are you talking about? Of course I love you, I love you lots and lots. Everything I do is for your own well being."

"I’ll even change myself if it means having you by my side, so please..."

Love... Could this really be called love? You thought, finally mustering the courage to look up at the man and studying his face.

Confusion. Sadness. Distraught. Interest.

He looked conflicted; obviously not knowing what to do with his control on you slowly slipping away. Your actions were a mystery to him, and he wondered...what were you planning? What was going on in that little mind of yours?

"Ah," your eyebrows furrowed. "I see."

Your question had most likely caught him off guard, which was a good thing... you supposed.

Arthur gently tugged onto your arm, bringing you closer to him. "I-I can’t put it into words how much I love you...so just come inside, and let me show you." He offered again, eyes calculating, as if he were deciding the best course of action; whilst yours were sharp, refusing to show weakness.

"This isn’t love, England. You’ve done nothing but hurt me in various times by now, and I’m sick of it." You stood your ground, willingly stepping closer to look at him directly in the face— "Threaten me, physically harm me...hell, beg on the ground for all I care! MY BELOVED!! Ik I never talk about her but she's one of my top fav characters she's such a babe also I had a crush on her when I first watched.
