Hello, are you still accepting applications? If you keep accepting, you can do one in which the Madrigal x reader family, who is the daughter of Pepa or Juliet, goes to Nevermore Academy.
(I'm going to make these headcanons, but a little more storyish. Also this is going to be platonic.)
Platonic! Yandere Madrigal family with Pepa's daughter being a student of nevermore academy
Tumblr media
(I'm sorry, I wasn't sure how to word the title lmao.)
Tw: Platonic yandere, platonic yandere family, stalking?, Unhealthy obsession, yandere themes.
You never really saw the point of going to Nevermore, you were never seen as a outcast to others, more of a blessing. But that's not how your mother and father and the rest of the family saw it.
You always felt you were out of place at the school, even though it was meant for outcasts. But you weren't one of these people, you weren't a outcast at all. It actually hurt you a little when your family decided to send you here.
You were the only one in the entire family who went here, why? Did your family just not care about you?
Oh but they did care, but just not in a way that you would see. They also protected you without you even knowing, they sent your own brother, Camilo everyday to shapeshift into a student and keep a close gaze on you.
Camilo would tell them what he saw, making sure to tell them of any possible threats that could of harmed you.
You were safe under their watch without even knowing it, and they wanted it to stay that way...

Hi there. I really like your fics, (specially the hogwarts legacy and the Encanto ones) so can I ask you for an Encanto fic in which M!reader (or GN!reader if you want more people to feel included) struggles to control their gift which is manipulating any forms of fire. Abuela gets mad for the chaos they have caused and the people are scared of them.
The reader is feeling really bad because they feel that their gift can only cause destruction but then Bruno appears and comforts them and tell them that all of the people are afraid of him too and that the gift they have is truly wonderfull.
If this doesn't bother you can you make this before the events of the movie? Maybe the reader can be still a child who got their gift not so long ago. And also that their mother is Pepa.
Thank you so much and sorry if my explanation was so long and impossible to understand. English isn't my first language. Have a nice day/ night!!
A/N: Thank you so much anon! So sorry for the delay, I ended up with chickenpox for the past few weeks and it is has taken me a while to recover. Hope you enjoy!
Destruction
child!Madrigal reader x Bruno Madrigal (platonic!)
Tumblr media
The whole village was a flurry with anticipation. There was to be a celebration in the village square and the entire Madrigal family was helping with the decorations and preparations. Your cousin Isabela had created the most beautiful flower decorations, and you took one of the flowers in your hand to smell the sweetness of it. A little bit of pollen got into your nose and… “Achoo!” You sneezed, triggering your gift to set the poor, unsuspecting flower aflame.
“Ah! No, no, no!” You muttered, as you tried to stamp the flames out. In your panic, you only made the fire worse as you slowly set alight to ALL the decorations. Soon, half the village square was up in flames. Villagers started running around screaming, pushing and shoving as they tried to get away. Some of the village children ran up towards you before they spotted the flames coming from your hands. “Ah! Monster!” They screamed, running in the opposite direction to you.
Your mother, Pepa, saw the chaos happening. Her eyes narrowed as she saw that you were in the centre of it all. The sky darkened and rain began to pour from the sky, as lightning flashed dangerously and the loud rumble of thunder signified how terribly angry she was with you. “Oh no…” You whispered to yourself, as she came over to you, agonisingly slowly. Luckily, the intense rain was able to douse your flames, including the ones still hovering above your hands.
“Y/N!” A shriek of anger comes from the edge of the village square. You turn to see your Abuela coming towards you, her face in a vicious snarl. “How could you? You’ve destroyed everything your family has worked so hard on today!”
You sniff, tears threatening to fall. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to, I couldn’t… control it.” Your chin wobbles, as Abuela yanks your arm to drag you back to Casita. Your family follows behind you, glaring daggers into your back. “I don’t want to hear it, Y/N.” Abuela shakes her head. “You have created absolute chaos, frightened the villages and disappointed your family. You must control your gift, or you cannot go out of Casita into Encanto.”
You gasp in shock, blinking rapidly as the tears mix in with the rain coming from Pepa’s storm. “You’ll lock me away in Casita?” You begin to sob, hugging myself as we trudge up the steps to Casita. As soon as you all get inside, you run up the stairs and run into your room, slamming the door. You flop onto your bed, staring up at the ceiling. It feels like your heart will break.
The door slowly creaked open, and your eyes land on your Uncle Bruno as he slinks into the room. “Y/N, let’s… have a talk.” You sit up, wiping your tears, as you sit cross-legged on your bed. Bruno sits beside you, a hand resting on your shoulder. “I know what it is like. To have a gift that causes fear in other people.” He says, as you look up at him, listening intently.
“People have a tendency to be… afraid of what they don’t understand. Now, you and I… we both have powerful gifts. Capable of great things… but also capable of causing a lot of damage.” You look down, sniffling, as you hug your pillow. “They see that power, and they are afraid. They don’t take the time to understand it.” Bruno adds, sighing as he looks down at you. “I know it seems tough right now, that no one will be able to see who you are, past the big scary fire…”
“They are so frightened of me… but it isn’t my fault, I can’t control it!”
“You will, with time. And when you can, they will love you for your gift. I think it is pretty neat, honestly.” Your face lights up. “Really?”
“Well, for a start, you can create a bonfire any time you want, and then we can toast marshmallows. Or when it is super dark, and you can just flick your hand and light us a torch? Yeah… your gift is awesome.” His words make you smile for the first time, the candles in your room start to burn a bit brighter.
“You keep your chin up, kiddo. Don’t listen to the others… listen to your Uncle Bruno.” You smile, feeling the room become warmer from the heat of your flames again.
“Thanks, Tío.”

Anonymous asks
I am perfectly fine with anyone using anonymous asks, I personally use them a lot. However if you use anonymous asks, please put a emoji(s) or a letter(s) as your signature. Just put it at the bottom of your ask and I'll add it to the list
Used Letters:
Used Emojios:
I will write
Different AU's: I can do all diffrent types! Pirate, mafia, hybrid, fantasy, royalty, mermaid, soulmates, mall workers, vampires, ghosts, ect. Or if you have your own AU and would like me to do somthing with it I can tolltally do that to.
Omegaverse: I know not everyone likes this trope but i'm a absaloute sucker for it. I can do Alpha, Beta, or Omega for charecters or Reader. I do write heats but not in a sexual way, i personally write them kinda like a human period but replace the blood with increased body tempetures.
Any Gender: I am personally genderfluid and AFAB so those are the two that I would have the most experience with. However if you want me to do somthing like a trans reader or AMAB reader than I can try my best. Don't be afraid to make it specific to you, everone is diffrent and I understand trying to look for something that fits you more than the stereotypes.
Crossovers: I don't see a lot of creators in any fandom doing crossovers a lot. I see like *Insert charecter* x reader with *insert other character* personality but not really crossovers. So feel free to request a crossover with a diffrent show.
Any skin color: I love having variety in my writing so I will do any skin colors. I can do basic skin colors, from pale peach to dark brown. I can also do exstream versions like skin that is nearly paper white from how pale it is or skin that us nearly space black from how dark it is. I can also do unnatural skin colors, like Mina!
Alterhuman Reader: Ok so I see absaloutly no alterhuman reader fanfics out there so i'm here to change that. I'm not personally a alterhuman but I do have a few freinds that are. If you want me to do a specific one instead of basic I can also do that. Like instead of a dragon kin I can do a dragon kin with space wing and starts eyes with claws that glow in the dark ect.
Body Marks: I personally have stretch marks, moles, freckles, and odd placed birthmarks so I can do any of these or others if you would like. If you are specifically extra self-conscious of your body marks than I can add extra levels of love to specific part if you would like :)
Feel free to requests anything as long as it's not in my will not write list!
I will not write
Abuse: I will not do the character inflicting pain on the reader or the reader inflicting pain on the charecter. I can do mentions of past abuse, such as a charecter or reader flinching at touch or loud noise.
Cheating: character doing it to reader or reader doing it to character is just a big no. I never understood cheating, if you don't love somone just break up with them. If you can't do it for safety reson than find a support system to protect you in dangerous situations.
Misscarage: I have lost three sibling to this and I still cry at night thinking of them, please don't ask me to do anything to do with this subject. If you do I will give you 1 warning and then I'm blocking you.
Abortion: I don't really have a side here but I don't like the though of writing it as it makes me uncomfortable.
Rape/SA: I don't feel comfortable doing this subject. I can not do mentions of it as I have not personally experienced it and don't want to miss somthing or do something wrong.
NSFW: I may be a yandere blog but I do not wish to do anything sexual on this blog, only romantic and platonic here.
Note
Don't worry about being cringe with me! As long as your not hurting anyone than why should I stop you from having fun? Fell free to be your authentic self and request somthing super specific if you want.

Platonic! Pepa and reader just spending time together (optional: reader is crushing on/dating Camilo)
``platonic!reader with pepa``
notes: ohohohohoho i love this prompt sm
warnings: none!
-for context on your family, your parents were usually away on business trips (they'd send money to support you ofc), leaving you with your grandmother most of the time.
-it wasn't that you didn't love them. you surely did, but you didn't feel incredibly connected with them as much as you would eventually with pepa.
-anyway
-let's say you're only crushing on camilo when you first start to hang around pepa
-she was having a particularly bad day one evening, evident by the dark thunder + rainclouds in the sky
-you spotted her sitting by the fields as you were on your way to go check on the crops
-when you spotted her you gently set down your things and took a seat next to her.
-she was busy uselessly wiping her arm across her face to get rid of the tears mixing in with the rain
-when she spotted you there soaking wet from her weather she'd immediately apologize, saying something along the lines of, "ay, i'm so sorry about your clothes! forgive me, it's just been a bit of a struggle today..."
-after so many years of being scolded by her mother about her bad weather you could imagine her surprise when you simply shrug and say, "sometimes the earth needs rain just as much as it needs sun."
-your words would probably confuse her. she had never thought of it like that before.
-"huh??"
-"i'm saying it's okay to feel sad! besides, i like the rain."
-after processing your words she'd probably laugh, her rain slowly getting lighter and the thunder ceasing to exist.
-"you know, you remind me of my son in a way," she'd say.
-oh boy, little did she know you've had a massive crush on camilo. you didn't let her figure it out, of course, but secretly you had always admired his charming ways. from afar.
-from then on, though, she'd always enjoy your company
-you'd regularly stop by and help her with her chores, whether it be helping to clean up whatever was dirty or helping her fold her laundry
-she'd think you're a delight to have around, with the both of you having fun conversations and stories on the daily.
-she'd basically take on being your parental figure while your parents were gone
-the townsfolk eventually realized that you were the one to call if her family wasn't around to help her though a mood drop
-usually it'd either end up with you comforting her and helping her through her troubles or trying to calm her down and lead her back home so she could get some rest
-either way she loves you a lot!! whenever someone mentions your name she just thinks of you fondly
-being close to her meant you'd regularly interact with her eldest son and surprise surprise, the two of you got together!!
-when she found out she was over the moon
-"finally, i can call you my daughter!"
-"mami! we're not even married!"
-"ay, not yet!"
-if she ever caught the two of you doing anything romantic or just plain cute she'd probably put her hand on her heart and think about how much you two reminded her of her and felix.
-all in all would be happy to call you a part of her family and can guarantee she loves you vv much :)

If you’re fine with going to see the movie, then yeah, because honestly Pepa and her family would be a interesting set of platonic yanderes imo lol
Yandere Madrigals (Platonic Headcanons)
Warnings: Psychological Manipulation, Toxic Mindsets.
A.N. – I wasn't sure how much of the family you wanted, so I did all of them at once.
Tumblr media
A silent war is waged in Casa Madrigal, and the entire town of Encanto has a stake in it. When the skies darken and pouring rain arrives in gusts of howling winds courtesy of Pepa, every citizen reaps the consequences of the family having an argument with or a disagreement over their friend. Each member has a unique idea of how best to treat their friend, which breeds an endless amount of petty conflict but also a powerful sense of unity.
As the perceived golden child, Isabela expects to be the centre of their attention. She attempts to dazzle them by blooming rows of the flowers she has been told are beautiful and praised for growing. If this fails to win their everlasting admiration, Isabela is at a loss for what to do. For much of her life, her chlorokinesis was hailed as her best quality, leaving seeds of envy to sprout when their friend is impressed by another member of the family.
In addition to her own insecurities, Isabela encounters great competition in the form of her cousins. None of these threats are greater than Camilo, who is rich with a need for attention and is determined to steal the title of their friend's favourite Madrigal. Camilo shapeshifts into random civilians on the street, important people in their friend's life and their preferred member of the family if not himself — all to interact with them a little longer and, in his mind, build a rapport with them.
Luisa is not as hungry for attention as her cousins and older sister, but she does have a robust want to be seen as useful to their friend. She refrains from intruding on their engagements with other members of the family and instead waits for them to seek out her, asking for any tasks and chores that she can do for them every time they meet. Luisa measures her worth by how much stress she lifts off their friend and encourages them to transfer the smallest and most insignificant duties to her if she has not helped them for a while.
Before Bruno is accepted back into the family, he goes unnoticed by their friend until Dolores enlightens them or they catch him raiding the kitchen in the dead of night during a sleepover. Bruno fears the wrath of Alma and resigns himself to speaking with them through tunnels in the walls, sometimes trying to persuade them to visit his hideout. Antonio is informed of this via his nocturnal animals and Bruno's rats, but the kid is happy to keep it secret as long as he can come with their friend and receive extra time with them later.
As a magic-less individual in a household full of supernatural abilities, Mirabel struggles to retain a presence in their friend's day. Among her family's nonstop ventures to enthral them with superhuman feats, she feels that anything she can offer is doomed to be inferior to the gardens, rainbows and heavy lifting. This does not deter her from trying, however, and Mirabel seeks to claim her piece of their attention by rushing to talk to them and bring them to the privacy of the nursery when a family member steps away.
Regardless of how much their friend tries to keep their private life to themselves, Dolores hears each thought mumbled in secrecy and every twinge of fear and discomfort that sneaks into a laugh or step. She is quite loose-lipped when it pertains to secrets and wastes no time recounting everything she learned to the eager ears of her family.
As a means of vengeance whenever someone interrupts her time with their friend, Dolores withholds information and tells her other relatives not to keep the offending member updated with the latest news until either she forgives them or they apologize to her.
Mirabel and Antonio shed doubt on the fairness of this process, and while she does not approve of its underhanded nature, Alma deems it a necessary invasion to ensure their safety. As far as Agustín and Félix are concerned, eavesdropping is a silly byproduct of joining the Madrigals because their friend might as well be a member of the family. Julieta and her motherly instincts support Alma when she encourages their friend to move into Casa Madrigal, citing it as a way to provide them with the happiest life possible.
After he is accepted back into the family, Bruno lives in constant fear of giving their friend one too many negative prophecies and losing their companionship forever. He wishes to only share the good news, but the thought of them facing a hardship unprepared when he could have warned them drives him to track down their whereabouts and deliver the brutal truth. Whether Bruno slips up or Dolores overhears him, knowledge of the adverse prophecy flows back to the rest of the family and causes an uproar at dinner.
Alma leads the discussion, with Julieta and Pepa throwing in the odd comment here and there. Agustín and Félix are the jokesters of the group and fail to understand why the situation has to be so tense, aiming to keep the room stable with humour. Isabela casts hidden glares and the occasional snide remark at whoever she thinks their friend prefers to her. Dolores exposes her, and Isabela's denial leads to Pepa succumbing to the emotional chaos and summoning a storm.
Camilo seizes the opportunity to mock and impersonate whichever family member he views as his biggest competitor. Luisa is crying about how she has supposedly disappointed their friend, while Mirabel comforts her and tries to keep a foothold in the conversation at the same time. Antonio is an anxious observer for most of the event and excuses himself to play with his animals far from the dining room.
Just as it seems like the discussion cannot be salvaged, Bruno stumbles out of a hole in the wall — sand in his mouth and a rat in his hand. He lies and announces a second prophecy that negates the first. It is a desperate ploy to ease the tempers and fears of his family, and if the real prophecy comes to pass, Bruno suggests a way to fight it but paints the suggestion as a forgotten detail of his vision to preserve his innocence.

Hello could I request yandere family madrigal with Anotino's twin reader, and the reader didn't get a gift.
And she was super upset just sobbing :(
 ( I'm not very happy about this but I hope you like it)
Tumblr media
   Yandere Family Madrigal with Antonio's twin that never got a gift
TW OBSESSIVE BEHAVIOR STALKING POSSESSIVE BEHAVIOR STOCKHOLM SYNDROME MANIPULATION ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR
💜 you were born on the same day as Antonio just a few hours apart but you two were very close especially with the family even though it was your gift ceremony you were still so scared that you would possibly not get a gift little do you know that your worst fear would come true
💛Pepa will spoil you to bits after you never got a gift you were just so sad you won't stop crying for a few days scared that you disappointed to the family he wanted to help with family often will be by you whenever you would start crying again thinking that you fail the family
💛Félix will be by your side 100% even though you don't have a gift you are still very important to the family everyone loves and cares for you but they're still love you and care for you even though they baby you even more because you don't have a gift
💛 Camilo would try to cheer you up by shapeshifting into people but that just made you more upset thinking that you were useless compared to everyone else you would just start crying again Camilla would quickly shape-shift back and hug you tight whenever someone would try to ask what your gift was he would give them a quick glare before quickly walking out of the area most of the time we have is no one asked you that they don't appear in the town
💛 Dolores is one of the many people that would comfort you she would definitely play more games with you and hang out most the time with you even forgetting about her love for someone else she would kill up anyone that she would I think that would make fun of you or call you useless
💛 Antonio which one of the worst affected by this expected you to get a gift to he was hoping and praying but when you didn't get a door and started crying he quickly made his room and your room combined into one he carved your name hello rather messily into his door and said sorry to Casita
❤ Abuela I felt terrible for you even more than Maribel. She didn't want you to end up like her she started giving you more and more gifts but that didn't really change her mind that she had to continue with taking care of Casita but she would give you a candle not necessarily like the one she had but the same design
💙 Agustín and Julieta face boil you even more than your own parents it becomes very tedious more food more of your favorite meals more songs more plushies more candy excetera it does get a little annoying but you love your family so you just deal with it you're too young to understand what's going on anyway
💙 Isabella she would make you small flower crowns and decorate your room covered with flowers even though it was still the nursery but she wanted to make you happy but even though you're allergic to some of the flowers she goes a little bit overboard
💙lusia it's probably one of the most overprotective one whenever someone in the town to try to talk to you she would quickly scared them all if anyone tried to befriend you scare them off and if anyone besides the family would try to talk to you they would scare them off she just wants to protect you from judgment Maribel that was that too much so she just wanted you to be happy
💙 Maribel knows exactly what you're going through she went through the exact same thing so she knows that you won't be okay for a while she wants you to be happy that's for sure but she will teach you how to help around the house without a gift and soon you started lighting up the mood and we're happy again but that didn't change your mind that you felt kind of useless
💚 Bruno's probably the second person to know what you're going through feeling like his gift wasn't helping with family he wanted to help you he would slowly show himself and give you small gifts which would be small dresses for your dolls or a little pet rat he was happy whenever you would refer to him as tío and when he was accepted back in the family he would be even happier to help you around the house
I'm sorry if this is bad

If you're still taking request, can I ask about a Madrigal family yandere when another family tries to kidnap Y/N? alternative part where Y / N if she was kidnapped and the madrigal find her when she is already a teenager 13/15
Kidnapped Reader, Alternative Yandere Madrigals:
Hope this is what ya wanted, sorry if it isn't that good-
Finished it after work and I'm tired- but Enjoy
Tw: Murder
You didn't expect to be taken away the day you were finally allowed to go outside by yourself.  You didn't know the people who took you but they kept telling you that they were helping you. Help from what? You didn't know.
You were about to cry out to Dolores, but they quickly silenced you as they took you from Encanto.
Dolores was too late to realize she couldn't hear you anymore.
So, you spent 5 years with the strangers who kidnapped you. You had learned what they meant when they were helping you, as you tried to get to what should be a healthy family dynamic. You had to say, you liked it much more then with the Madrigals. Sure, younger you loved them dearly, but they were manipulative and too overwhelming.
The family who kidnapped you was made out of a tall man named Shade with his wife Alice and their daughter L.
And with the 5 years you spent with them, you loved them like your actual family.
But that all came to an end once the Madrigals had found you again.
You were running around town, chasing down a kid named Dan. He stole your stick you found, and it was an amazing stick, so you really needed to get it back. You wanted to give it to Shade as a little gift.
Or that was until you ran into someone which was weird. Normally people didn't come near the woods unless for woods, maybe it was Artemis. She hated people and mostly lived around the woods.
"I'm sorry-"
"[Y/n]?"
That voice caused you to freeze in your place. It couldn't be. Alma would never let them leave Encanto. Would she?
You slowly look up as they say your name again. You visibly pale as you're face to face with Mirabel Madrigal. She looked beyond happy as she stared you down, you wore if she had a tail, it would be wagging.
"..Mirabel…" You muttered, taking a step back as she took one forward, obviously wanting to take you back to the Madrigals.
It wasn't even a few seconds later until all of the Madrigals showed up, causing you to start shaking in your place. They all had looks of worry and happiness on their faces besides Dolores, who just looked betrayed by you. Did she know you chose to stay here? If so, how long was she spying on you?
Alma stepped forward, a supposed to be comforting and warm smile that used to work on you but knowing the true meaning just sent shivers down your spine. "[Y/n], you're safe." She started, only coming closer but pausing seeing you back away. "How did you escape? Why are you still here?"
"I-I, um..." You didn't know how to word it, but Dolores did as she suddenly spoke up.
"Because they choose them over us." She spat out, sending you a quick glare. "They brainwashed them."
You sent one back, "They did not!" You shouted at her causing her to flinch in surprise. You faltered, "I-I'm just...happier here..." You whispered.
Julieta looked at you with disappointment in her eyes. "So, they did brainwash you."
"I-"
Camilo Interrupted you, an unusual frown on his face. "So, you wanna leave us after all we've done for you?" He asked, and kept going, not waiting for your answer. "Don't you remember we're the only ones who care about you?" Alma sent a harsh glare at him after that.
"Camilo."
"What? It's true."
You clenched your fists as you started to build up a bit of courage. "Shut up...!" You blurted out, causing them to look at you in surprise. This was the first time you've ever told anyone of them to shut up. Their gazes make you shrink back in fear and before you knew it you were shouting for Shade or Alice or anyone to come and help you.
Not even a second after that, a vine wrapped around your mouth, silencing you.
Isabela crossed her arms and took a few short steps over to you as you wiggled in the vines. She gave you a scowl, her eyes staring down into your soul. "Now, we can do this the easy way or the hard way." She stated, "I think you'll like the easy way more."
Before you could make any sort of agreement, or disagreement, your savior had finally shown up. But you wished he didn’t.
Shade quickly cut down the vine and pushed you behind him. “What do you think you’re doing with my child?” He asked, tightening his grip on his sword as he sent a glare at them. But that didn’t faze them, what did was him calling you, his child.
Thunder clouds formed over Pepa’s head as it slowly started to drizzle. “Your child? Yours?” She repeated as the clouds grew larger, and that was never a good sign. Felix didn’t even tempte to calm down his wife, he was just as upset as her. But surprisingly Alma did, once she sent a quick strange look towards Isabela.
“Pepa, you have a cloud.” She stated calmly. Pepa let out a frustrated groan as she started to stroke her hair, mumbling “Clear skies, Clear skies.” After that, Felix rubbed circles on her back.
“Isabela, let [Y/n] go please.”
Isabela nodded as the vines around you dropped you to the ground gently. You looked over at them confused but Shade didn’t falter. He kept his gaze steady on Alma as she sent another look towards her before a vine went straight through Shade’s heart. Blood started to leak out of his mouth as he dropped his sword to the ground.
You were fucking speechless as Shade’s body dropped to the floor. You couldn’t look away even as a warm hand landed on your shoulder. It was Julieta’s as she kneeled down to your height, holding something she probably made. She didn’t say anything as she forcefully fed it to you, and it didn’t even take long for the effects to kick in.
The last thing you saw was Shade’s dead body before the world turned dark.
Kinda Anti-climaxed but I can’t write fight scenes and I didn’t know how to add the others kinda gory scenes

masterlist [01] ceremonious summary: In which (Name) Madrigal struggles with their gift of freezing time and their inability to talk to their own family. notes: this series is very self-indulgent, if i'm being honest. warnings: kinda angsty, lack of time perception, memory problems [prev] | [next]
Tumblr media
The story of the Madrigal miracle was one that always fascinated (Name). Much like the rest of their relatives, they grew up clinging to their abuela's every word, the story of their Abuelo Pedro echoing in their mind as the years dragged on. They cherished this story as one of the only memories they could vividly remember.
See, (Name) always had trouble with memory. Either they could only recall bits and pieces or they could recall nothing at all. Big gaps were present in their mind, their thoughts jumbling together and the time escaping them.
And yet, with all of these issues plaguing their memory, the story their abuela loved to tell remained a staple in their mind.
"Abuela?" (Name) called out softly, a mere whisper leaving their lips as they nestled in their bed. Mirabel, the only other child awake in the nursery, seemed to know exactly what her younger cousin seemed to want. Camilo, on the other hand, had long since fallen asleep and was huddled underneath the blanket, his chubby hand clutching (Name)'s pajama shirt.
"Yes, mi vida?" Abuela hummed quietly, her hands holding the flickering candle the children had grown to admire. (Name) and Mirabel shared a glance, their smiles bright as the candle's flame sparkled in their eyes.
"Can you tell us the story again?" (Name) requested, earning a smile and a laugh from the older woman.
"I've already told you the story five times," Alma pointed out. (Name) nodded their head excitedly, letting out a quiet squeak when their older brother shifts in the bed.
"I know that," (Name) whispered after a few moments, staring down at the blanket covering their lap. "But... I like hearing it."
"I know that, but your ceremony is coming up," Abuela continued, glancing over at the clock placed on the counter. "We have a lot of preparations to handle, tomorrow. I think it's best for you to get some rest, just like Camilo."
"But, Abuela," (Name) whined, their lip jutting out in a pout. Alma let out another laugh and patted the child's head, a fond smile on her face as she pushed herself up to her feet, tiptoeing towards the nursery door.
"Dulces sueños--" Alma's lips snapped shut when she turned to see (Name) and Mirabel already buried in their sheets. It hadn't even been thirty seconds, and yet the children had already passed out in their beds. (Name) had somehow slipped underneath their covers without disturbing Camilo, clinging onto his arm as soft snores escaped their lips.
As quiet as she could, Alma turned and closed the door behind her, holding the candle close to her chest.
Tumblr media
"(N/Name)?" Pepa cooed as she opened the door, peering her head inside with her husband Félix a few steps behind her. She lightly knocked on the wood, her eyes landing on her child who was still tucked beneath the covers. "Ay, (N/Name), you're still in bed?"
"Up, up!" Félix declared, hurrying into the nursery and pulling the covers off his child. (Name) let out a whine and curled into themselves, causing their father to laugh loudly and scoop them into his arms. "Get excited, corazón! You'll be getting your gift tonight!"
"Mmh..." (Name) whined once more, lazily throwing their arms around their father's neck.
"Today's a big day, mijo," Pepa points out, cupping her child's cheeks that were resting on Félix's shoulder. "I can't believe you're already five!"
"Mm... Huh?" (Name) hummed, their words slurred together as Pepa continued to squeeze their face. "Tha's today...?"
"That's what I just said, (N/Name)," Félix answered, stroking their hair lightly. "You must still be sleepy."
"Mhm," (Name) hummed, giggling when Pepa starts poking and tugging at their cheeks. "Mama!"
"Oh, hush, (N/Name)," Pepa playfully scolds, pressing a kiss on the child's forehead. "Let me cherish you, pequeña."
"Mi amor, I know you're happy," Félix begins before taking a small step back, waving at the raincloud forming above Pepa's head, "but you're going to get them wet."
"Mamá? Papá?" A familiar voice called out, accompanied by the squeaking door. (Name) rubbed at their eyes as their vision began to clear, allowing them to see the brunet standing in the doorway.
"'Milo," (Name) yawned, waving to the boy sluggishly before letting their hand fall onto their father's back.
"You're not awake yet, (Name)?" Camilo huffed, crossing his arms. His small glare quickly turned into a bright grin as he teased, "If you don't wake up now, you're not gonna get a gift!"
"Ay, Camilo! Don't tease them on their big day," Pepa scolded earning a hesitant nod from the young boy. Seemingly satisfied with the gesture, Pepa scooped the child from her husband's arms and pressed another kiss on the side of their head. "Now then, let's get you some breakfast, hm?"
As her child let out another sleepy hum and rested their chin on her shoulder, Pepa couldn't help but feel the same way she always felt when this time came around. Sure, she had only experienced it with two other children, but it always felt somewhat melancholic. She always knew that she would have to watch her children grow older and grow more independent, but...
With her mother's parenting style beginning to turn more controlling, she couldn't help but worry that she wouldn't ever be able to be there for her kids before they became independent. She would walk the streets of Encanto and hover around the mothers, watching as they tended to their children's every need. She wanted that. She wanted to be a support for her beloved children but she always feared they were growing up too fast. Hell, she grew up a bit faster than she should have.
"Mm... Mamí," (Name) murmured, gripping the back of their mother's dress, "You're drizzling again..."
"Ah! Sorry, sorry," Pepa squeaked, waving away the cloud forming above her head.
Tumblr media
(Name) didn't know who they were praying to. All they knew was that they were sitting beside their bed, hands clasped together as they begged for more time. They pleaded to have more time to do... anything. There was no real goal in mind other than the dreaded idea of running out of time and having to face the Madrigal reality.
And soon after, their pleas for more time turned into something more, something they could hold onto when they finally ran out of time.
They wished to for once remember this night. They wanted to remember every last bit of it because they knew that time was not on their side. They wanted to remember the feeling of the lights blasting their face, the feeling of Casita's shifting floor tiles, the feeling of all eyes on them as they walked down the path towards their door, the feeling of the warm candle against their palms, the feeling of the smooth doorknob against their hand, and the feeling of their body receiving their gift.
Please... Please let me remember it all...
"(N/Name)?" Jumping at the sudden voice, (Name) whipped their head towards the door to find their older brother hoving in the doorway, just as he had done that very same morning. His eyes flickered down towards their clasped hands before he shook his head, hurrying in and placing his hands on their shoulders. "You got Mamá and Papá worrying, hermano."
"...Lo siento," (Name) muttered, staring down at the floorboards. What stared back at them was the bright white and gold outfit Abuela had dressed them in, small wrinkles and folds evident in the fabric.
"Why are you so sad?" Camilo asked suddenly, tilting his head. "It's your gift ceremony today! It'll be great!"
(Name) squirmed uncomfortably under their brother's gaze. It wasn't that they didn't trust him enough to confide in him. It was quite the opposite, in fact. But, no matter how much they wanted to vent to him, to spill out their feelings and talk about their worries about their own memory and lack of time, they couldn't. No matter what, they couldn't get the words to leave their mouth.
"It... It's nothing, Camilo," (Name) quickly shook their head, reaching up to grab their brother's wrist. They smiled softly before muttering, "I think I'm ready now."
Camilo responded with a bright grin, one that (Name) had recognized in the fragments of their memories, and began to drag the younger Madrigal out of the nursery. And before they knew it, they were already stationed behind the curtain that would lead them to their new room.
"Aw, mija," Pepa cooed, smoothing out the wrinkles in her child's outfit. "Look at you! You're growing up so fast!"
"Mamá!" (Name) laughed, their worries disappearing for a moment as their mother pulled them into a hug.
"You got this!" Camilo beamed, jumping excitedly beside his sibling. "You're gonna get your gift and it's gonna be so cool!"
"Abuela..." Dolores begins, leaning closer to the curtain, "says it's time to start."
"We'll see you up there, okay, corazón?" Félix hummed, lifting (Name) into his arms and kissing their forehead lightly. "You're gonna do great!"
Their family disappears behind the curtain, leaving (Name) to listen to the heavy drums echoing on the other side. They were so glad they had seen Camilo's gift ceremony just a few months ago.
Was it a few months ago? How long had it been since then?
Had they not seen the ceremony before, regardless of the time, they knew they would not be able to handle their own ceremony.
"Forty years ago, in our darkest moment, this candle blessed us with a miracle," Abuela Alma's voice begins once the drums stop, her voice seemingly booming throughout the home. "And the greatest honor of our family has been to use our blessings to serve this community. Tonight, we come together once more as another steps into the light... to make us proud."
The curtains slid open, exposing (Name) to the residents of Encanto gathered in the foyer of their house. The lights whipped around to shine above them while the tiles leading to the staircase flipped to showcase a more intricate design.
(Name)'s eyes drifted over to their family, their older siblings gathered on the side of the walkway with their cousins and their parents behind them. They locked eyes with Camilo first, who immediately smiled at them and nodded excitedly, his body twitching as he waited for them to walk. Dolores returned a smaller smile when they met her gaze, nodding towards the staircase waiting for them.
The tiles beneath (Name)'s heels lifted slightly, pushing the small child forward and onto the pathway. (Name) gulped, fiddling with their fingers as they took small steps and shuffled across the floor. As they passed their siblings, they could feel their eyes in particular on them. It provided the tiny bit of comfort they wished for at that single moment, granting them enough willpower to force their feet up the stairs.
Alma stood at the top, the special candle (Name) admired for so long lowered towards them. With a smile, she watched as (Name) reached up and wrapped their small hands around the candle, prompting her to ask, "Will you use your gift to honor our miracle? Will you serve this community and strengthen our home?"
"Mm...Mhm," (Name) hummed and nodded, prompting Alma to step back and motion towards the glittering door forming in front of the (H/Color)-haired child.
(Name) took small, tentative steps towards the door, hesitating in front of the glowing entrance for a moment. They looked to the side, earning a thumbs up from their father and a comforting smile from their mother. Raising their hand, they let it hover over the doorknob before resting their palm against it, feeling their first initial engraved on it against their skin.
The door begins to glow brighter, golden specks floating around the door as it began to take form. And as they turned to face their family, they watched as their movements froze.
The candle's flame no longer flickered and the door's speckles stopped midair, the transformation halting in the process. (Name) took a step back, looking around nervously at their surroundings.
"...Mamá? Papá?" (Name) called out before hurrying towards the railing, heaving their small body to look down at the rest of their family. "Camilo?! Dolores?!"
Once their names left their mouth, time immediately resumed. The cheers of the residents of Encanto filled the air once more and the sparkles of (Name)'s transforming door fell to the ground. The candle flame began to flicker. But, most importantly, their family began to move and cheer.
"We have a new gift!" Alma cheered, rushing over and kneeling beside (Name). The young child's breath seemed faster than it had when she spoke to them a few moments ago. And how did they get to the railing so fast?
"(Name)! (Name)!" Camilo shouted, rushing up the stairs and tugging on his younger sibling's arm. "Your room! I wanna see it!"
"A-Ah..." (Name) whimpered before swallowing their saliva, nodding shakily. "Okay..."
Walking back towards their door, they watch as the outside is covered in light before it quickly dissipates to reveal the door's engravings. Their name was at the top, curving over the largest clock that was carved behind (Name)'s head. In the open space around (Name), there were several more clocks that varied in size and time. SImilar to their uncle's door, an hourglass was etched in front of (Name) as if they were holding in their hands. Instead of being upright, the object was sideways with the bottom half of both sides being filled with sand.
(Name) took a deep breath before opening their door, hurrying inside the room as Camilo dragged them inside. Pepa and Félix trailed in after them, followed by the rest of the family and partygoers. As they stepped inside, the room began to take shape.
The once black void in front of them disappeared to reveal a single walkway leading towards the center of the room. Gears lined the sides of walkway, protecting any visitors from falling into the pristine white clouds. The makeshift railing began to turn, quietly churning with each passing second. (Name) let out a quiet yelp when a pocket watch dangled in front of them, swaying back and forth by the chain holding it in the air. Soon, the empty space was filled with hanging pocket watches, all quietly ticking past the seconds.
An open platform was at the end of the walkway, the other side blocked by a grand clock, towering over the rest of the room's inhabitants. The very same clock stood in the center of the room, the platform surrounding it providing ample room for the celebration to continue inside. Thin hourglasses acted as pillars, scattered around the floor as if providing support for the room's ceiling (that remained unseen due to the seemingly endless space above their heads).
(Name) let out a quiet giggle when Camilo cried out, having walked face first into a dangling pocket watch. Before Camilo could drag his sibling any more into the room, Félix and Pepa kneeled beside them and pulled the younger Madrigal into a hug, praising their child with bright smiles. Alma joined them soon after, kneeling to hold the child's face in her hands.
"Wonderful, mi vida. A gift, just as special as you are!"

Uhh hi I don't know if your requests are still open if not thats ok but I was wondering if you could write about the madrigal family adopting child y/n and how they would react to the reader calling (any of your pick)them mom,dad ect.. you don't have to do this if your uncomfortable with it just want to ask. But anyways hope you are having a great day or night and love your writing btw!(srry for my bad typing!)
Mami: Pepa x Fem Reader (platonic)
Summary: You finally call Pepa, Mami after being her daughter for a few years...
Genre: Fluff!
Notes: I'm sorry this took so long! My motivation to write is still there, it has just died down a bit.
Warnings: happy tears from Pepa, really angsty backstory because I can't write pure sugar like this,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You sat up straight in your bed, a cool sweat running down your face. It was another nightmare from before. Before the Madrigals, namely Pepa and Félix, had taken you in. Dolores had heard what was happening to you at your house and told her family. They came to your home, and whisked you away and now, you were a Madrigal.
You had a gift and everything. You could teleport, which made your new older brother Camilo very interested in doing stuff with you. Namely, pranks and stealing food and playing jokes on people.
Even though you were young when the Madrigals saved you, you still had scars, mental and physical, from when you lived with your father. He would come home drunk and irritated which did not bode well for you.
Your nightmares brought you back to those years that you tried so desperately to block out. You wiped the sweat from your face and sat on the edge of your bed. You teleported into the bathroom and splashed some water in your face.
"You're alright. You're not there anymore. You have a family that cares about you now."
Your words to yourself helped, but they couldn't drive away the ever-persistent thoughts in your head.
But what if they don't? What if they just barely tolerate me and took out of pity? Do they even do that or are they just waiting for me to move out?
You heard a knock at the door and a familiar voice.
"Y/N? Are you alright in there? I heard the sink going and you're the only other one awake?"
It was Pepa. You could tell from the water seeping under the door and into the bathroom that she was drizzling.
"Yeah, Pepi. I'm alright. I just had a nightmare."
Your voice was shaky and you were honestly on the verge of tears at this point. With the combination of your nightmare and Pepa coming to check on you, it was too much.
"Another one? That's the third one this week. Are you sure you're alright, mija?"
You broke down and opened the door to see Pepa in her nightgown, her braided, red hair wet from the cloud over her head. She took one look at your face and immediately pulled you into a hug. You hugged her back, not caring about the drizzling cloud that hung over your heads. Your head fit into the crook of her neck and you sobbed into her shoulder until you were able to speak coherent sentences.
"I'm sorry, Mami. I didn't mean to wake you up. I got your dress all wet too."
You mumbled quietly, and for a moment of shocked silence, you thought Pepa didn't hear you. She grabbed you by the shoulders and locked eyes with you.
"Did you just call me Mami?"
There were tears in Pepa's eyes and you immediately went to apologize.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have-"
Pepa pulled you into an even tighter hug.
"I've been wanting you to call me that for years. Oh, and don't worry about the dress. It was wet anyway."
You could hear the small, lilting laugh in her voice.
"You're not mad?"
"Why in the world would I be mad, mija?"
"I'm not Dolores, Camilo, or Antonio. I don't belong here."
"Of course you do. You are my mija, even if you are of different blood. I still love you just as much as I love them."
"Really?"
"Really."
TW:None.
“CASITA I’M BAA~AACK!!”
Mirabel sung out much to Y/n’s chagrin. The girl held her head in hands as she died internally while being dragged by her arm into Casita’s courtyard, who, was very enthusiastic about the new visitor.
Doors, tiles, and shudders started banging as the Casita called the rest of the Madrigals to the entrance, as well as notifying them that Mirabel was able to find the poor girl who just wanted to be left alone.
“Miraaa!! You found them?!”
Camilo yelled as he bounded down the stairway. Soon, the other Madrigals in the house joined the three, brimming with curiosity about the girl who seems to be avoiding them.
Camilo grabbed Y/n’s hand and shook it vigorously.
“Hiya! Names Camilo, do you wanna hangout later??”
Y/n just stood there confused and concerned as she slowly pulled her hand out of the energetic boy’s grip.
“No thank you.”
She politley replied. She turned her attention to the older sister he mentioned who quietly said hello to her, and Y/n gave a silent and brief wave back.
“Oh! Hello again, how have you been so far?”
Julieta asked and Y/n just sent her a confused look.
“-When you fell? It was a pretty nasty fall, and you almost immediately recovered.”
“Because...you’re magic??”
Y/n replied, not understanding what Julieta was trying to say.
“Most people with broken bones usually have to take a nap later after being healed by my mom, but you kinda just popped right up after she healed you.”
Luisa explained, which startled Y/n as she didn’t notice the tall girl behind her.
“Oh, well I’ve always kinda been the type who just gets up after falling multiple times soooo...”
Y/n shyly explained when a beam of light appeared and a certain long haired Madrigal was lowered down by her vines.
“I heard our friend was here?”
Y/n saw Mirabel’s demeanor shift into one of disinterest and annoyance from the corner of her eye as the eldest child approached her.
“I hope you enjoyed your time in Encanto. I apologize if we came off too strong earlier.”
“It’s fine.”
“Hello! Nice to meet you! I’m Antonio.”
A high pitched voice coming from below made Y/n look down to see a small boy with poofy afro.
“Y/n.”
Introduced herself to the young boy.
“Are you going to come to my gift ceremony?”
“Maybe. Depends on what I’m doing.”
“Thank you so much for bringing Mirabel home by the way, would you like to stay for dinner? As a way of saying thanks for bringing Mirabel home.” Julieta offered. The sun was just setting and the sky was lightly filled with an orange red hue.
“Thank you, but I need to get back before it gets too dark.”
“How close is your house?”
“Uh-” Y/n was about to lie when Mirabel pipped in.
“Far! It, uh took us a couple hours to get here soo...” Mirabel looked over to Dolores who nodded in support.
“I guess that settles it then.” Felix declared with a humoring smile.
“No no it’s alright. I have plenty of time to get home.” Y/n turned and took a few steps to the door when the tiles below her shifted to place her back in front of the Madrigal family.
“I’m not leaving until I say yes?” Y/n sighed out.
“Nope~” Camilo said smirked while leaning against Mirabel who also looked victorious.
Y/n sighed again while holding back a smile as she resigned to her fate and joined the family inside.
On the table Y/n could see that there was some Sancocho that she guessed was fish due to the smell, Carne a la Llanera, and some sides such as Papas Chorreadas, Ensalada Rusa, and some others.
Mirabel leads the girl to one of the side seats that the Casita’s pulled out for her and takes a seat right next to her while Camilo text the seat on the other side.
“Soo, Y/n right? Where do you live? Haven’t seen you around Encanto before.”
Calimlo asked as he served himself some Carne a la Llanera.
“I live in the mountains.”
“Which one? There are a lot around here.”
“I’d rather not say.”
“Why not?”
Y/n just stared at him deadpan.
“Because I don’t know you guys.”
“She has a point.” Felix commented as he took a spoonful of rice and Camilo just gave him an annoyed look.
“So do you have any hobbies? What kind of things do you like?” Mirabel questioned this time.
“I draw. And cook...I like thunder storms.”
“Oh?”
Pepa perked up at that while the whole family was confused. Why would someone like a thunder storm? They make the sun go out, make it too dark, and you can;t do anything while they go on.
“Why do you like storms?”
“I like the sound of rain and the rumbling of the thunder. I find them calming.”
“...Huh.” Isabela let out before she continued eating. Y/n was the first person they’ve heard of liking thunderstorms.
“Where did you learn to cook? The cake you gave me, it looked almost professional.” Julieta wondered from across the table.
“My mom. Her and I cook a lot.”
“What do you usually make?” Pepa piped in. They were really trying to keep this conversation going and find out something from their guest.Y/n shrugged at the question.
“I don’t know. It’s kinda a mix of stuff from all over the world.”
“You’ve been to other places in the world?”
“Not really. Just the cookbooks.”
“Oh.”
Silence filled the room with the occasional clinks and taps from silverware hitting plates and bowls.
“So what do your parents do? They weren’t with you when we found you.”
“That’s because I live alone.”
“But you’re so young? And the forest is a dangerous place.”
“I’ve been alright for five years I think I’ll be fine now.”
“FIVE YEARS???”
The family exclaimed as they looked at Y/n in surprise. Y/n looked already looked young so her saying that she lived five years out here alone made them concerned that she didn’t have any family around.
“How have you survived for this long? I’ve never seen you at the market getting any food do you have a farm or something?” Pepa interrogated.
“Yeah? I have my own way of sustaining myself where I live.”
“What about when you get hurt? Badly?”
“I know first aid.”
“Why don’t you just go to my mom?” Luisa prodded.
“Why would I do tha..tha...EEAACHOO.”
Y/n  was cut off by a flurry of sneezes as they immediately got up and the Madrigals followed suit.
“I..have to...go..ehh...”
“What? It’s late and it’s going to be night pretty soon.” Julieta said as she walked around the table to see what was wrong with Y/n, but was held at arm’s length by her as she made for the door.
“Al..Al, Alhergies! It’s the flowers.”
“Oh!”
The Madrigals watched as Y/n hastily walked across the courtyard and to the door.
“Thank you for having me over, goodbye.”
Y/n briefly waved before slipping out the front door leaving the family to look as her running down the road to the forest, wondering if she was going to be okay and thinking that the whole dinner thing didn’t go as well as they liked.
“Hmph, she’s allergic to you.”
Maribel smirked at her sister to which the latter just rolled her eyes in annoyance.
So this is a bit of an long ask but a yandere Mirabel who is in love with fem reader now the rest of the family is a platonic Yandere towards Mirabel as she doesn't have a gift and in there minds need to be cared for. So they kidnap reader to give to her as a gift and do all the punishments stopping reader from escaping for her.
(I'm really sorry for the long wait on your request!)
(Also I'm not including Abuela and Antonio, because I don't feel really that comfortable writing them as yandere's. Sorry!)
Gift (Romantic! Yandere Mirabel x Platonic! Yandere family Madrigal x Fem! Reader)
Tumblr media
Tw: Kidnapping, yandere punishments, romantic yandere, platonic yandere, drugging, force, threats, unhealthy obsession, yandere themes.
Mirabel gazed at you from behind the tree, obsessed with you. Just everything about you she loved. Your looks, your personailty, everything.
You didn't talk to Mirabel, nor know her. All you knew she was from the famous and gifted Madrigal family. You didn't plan on getting to know Mirabel, unless she started talking to you. Until then you weren't going to attempt to talk to her.
It's not like you had anything against her or anything, it just you never really were a fan of talking to people you didn't really know. And it would most likely stay that way.
The Madrigals had suddenly found out about Mirabels little crush on you, (not looking at anyone Dolores) they thought it was cute. It might of been a normal thing for a family to be proud or find it cute their family member had a crush or lover. Yes. But the Madrigals weren't really normal at all, they were what you would call a yandere towards Mirabel.
They believed Mirabel needed to be cared for in every way possible , they were like this ever since Mirabel hadn't gotten a gift like everyone else did. Ever since that day they had felt pity for her, protecting her, caring for her, making sure she was happy.
Finding out about this 'crush' of hers', would put you in danger. You knew neither of these things so you had no idea you were in danger. Oh I wish you knew so you could protect yourself.
The next day, you were on your own not another soul to be seen in sight. Well that's what you thought anyway. It was a nice day today, so why not take a walk? Not like sitting around all day was going to do anything...
Then suddenly a cloth wrapped around your mouth, you tried to fight off the unknown attacker, but no avail.
Your eyes suddenly but slowly opened, you then looked to see the...Whole madrigal family?! What did they want with you?! "Hello (y/n)..." Isabela said, making you even more nervous. "I'm sorry for what ever I did, but please let me go!" You quickly blurted out, getting a chuckle from each family member. You gave a confused look.
Isabela then resumed, "that's not why you're here...Now why you're here is because we know Mirabel has feelings for you, and we want to give you to her as a gift...Whether you like it or not." Her voice got a little darker and stern with the last 6 words. You gulped, as a gift? You weren't a present someone could just wrap up and give to another! You weren't going to stay with these people just because their family member loves you!
"No! You can't make me just stay here! This is wrong!" You shout, now shaking all over. "You will and you will like it dear..." Julieta darkly tells you. "And if you don't and try to escape, we won't hesitate to break your legs or do worse." Pepa finishs.
You wanted to cry out of fear, you didn't want any of this, why did this have to happen to you out of all people?!
"Now! Lets get you nice and ready for Mirabel, shall we...?"
Out of Control
Madrigal!reader x Pepa + Dolores (platonic!)
Tumblr media
You couldn’t really figure out what was going on. Everyone seemed angry or confused, and the argument at the dinner table just made everything worse. You tried to suppress how frightened you felt but you made your glass of water overflow, which soon spread to everyone else’s glasses overflowing as well, creating a small puddle of water on the ground.
Your mother, Pepa, gave you a sharp warning look, a thick black cloud appearing above her head. This was why you tried to bottle up everything you felt inside you. Your mother was so emotional so no one had an inch of room to deal with yours as well. You had to hide it from everyone, pretend to be calm and stoic when underneath you were anything but.
Sat with your eyes screwed up as tightly as possible, hands over your ears, you tried to block out everyone until you suddenly heard your sister Dolores' voice and for a moment everything was silent. Reluctantly you lowered your hands and opened your eyes, only to receive a drop of water in them from the rain that your mother was beginning to produce. The awkwardness in the air felt electrified, and before you could add your growing puddle to your mother's storm, you fled to your room.
There you stayed, lying on your back on your bed which was a little rowing boat filled with blankets and pillows until the door to your room opened by itself and you heard raised voices coming through. Soon you found Mirabel and Abuela arguing, with other members of your family also making their way to see what was going on.
Everyone seems out of control, some of your family like Isabela had stronger powers, and some like Luisa were losing theirs. You felt the rumble as a large crack formed in the foundations of Casita, and you couldn't hide your distress any longer. Water gushed out from where you stood, your fear of not being in control of anything in your life anymore only hastened the flood that was being conjured.
Your tumultuous waves helped Mirabel get up to the candle, but in the chaos as Casita came crashing down you got your leg stuck on part of the crumbling wall and you got sucked under by your whirlpool of water. You struggled as best you could, coughing and spluttering when the waves gave you just enough time to take a breath.
Exhaustion soon set in as you fought against your own gift, and you eventually went under the water and didn't come back up again. Casita lay in ruins and the family were desperately wading through your flood water to try and find Mirabel. Dolores, however, quickly noticed that you weren't among the remainder of your family members and called out to you.
With the loss of your powers the water had calmed down, as you emotions were no longer conjuring more or controlling the rough waves. Realising this, you held your breath as long as possible while raising your arms to break above the water and thrash about, desperately hoping Dolores would hear or see your movement.
"We're coming!" Dolores called out as soon as she spotted it, grabbing Pepa's arm and dragging her along. "Keep waving, Y/N! We're almost there!" Your mother was now wading through the murky waters quicker than Dolores, both of them trying their best to reach you in time.
Your waves began to slow as you ran out of air, you arms soon sinking back down into the water as the bubbles from the breath you so valiantly held rushed up to the surface. "No! Hold on!" Pepa cried out, using her arms to blindly fish around for a part of you.
Her fingers soon clumsily grasped your arm and she began to try and tug you free from your watery grave, Dolores soon joining in and helping. Luckily, it did not take long with the pair of them working together to set you free.
You breached the surface of the water and immediately coughed up the water that had began to enter your throat. Pepa rubbed your back soothingly, trying to help you hack up all the water you had swallowed. She was slightly impaired by Dolores grasping you firmly in a hug. "Don't you dare ever do that again, Y/N." Dolores whispered in your ear. "I'll try not to, hermana." You replied, your eyes overflowing with tears.
The following days were scary, and you struggled to continue life and help rebuild Casita without your powers. Soon, however, Casita was rebuilt, the magic was restored and your water manipulation soon returned. Once the celebrations were over, your mother pulled you aside for a quiet chat in her room. It was a well overdue discussion about both you own and her emotions, and how they could both be felt and controlled in a way that didn't suppress them. The knowledge of how to use your emotions to your advantage unlocked a whole new ability in you, and the knowledge that it was okay to release your emotion gave you the new lease of life you never knew you needed.
Yandere mom pepa with child reader please
Yandere Mom Pepa with child reader.
A/N: Sorry I have not been writing the past few days, Just have a lot of stress going on currently and I don’t want to half ass requests.
—---------------------------------------------------------
Everyone knows you are Pepa’s favorite child, while being older than Antonio but younger than Camilo you still get babied a lot by Pepa and even your older siblings and father.
And they don’t care that you are your mom's favorite child because you are also their favorite sibling so they are not mad about that.
You are often tasked with helping Pepa out while she is working at the farms because you just bring her mood up by being there and Pepa is more relaxed because she knows where you are and that you are not hurt.
Pepa would feel guilty if she ever accidentally hurt you while she was thundering because even though she did not do it on purpose she still hurt you and she will make sure you eat a good amount of Julietta’s cooking so that any damages are long gone.
Whenever you can’t be with Pepa because of your own village task one of your older siblings will keep an eye out for you, weather that would be Camilo shape shifting into other people in order to see what you are doing without being called for something else or Dolores focusing her hearing to hear what you are doing.
Sometimes even Antonio comes in with his animals because he wants to spend some time with his sibling.
Félix will bring you towards Pepa whenever she has a cloud that he can’t help her get rid of, and while that does not tend to happen it has happened in the past because she could not stop worrying about you. She could not be reassured that you were alright and not injured so he had to find you and bring you to Pepa so she could check up on you and then make you stick to her side.
Félix and your siblings will enable Pepa’s behavior because her behavior has rubbed off on them.
So they will also slowly get more protective and obsessive as time goes on, so don’t you ever think of dating anyone because no one will be good enough for their favorite sibling.
and if you started dating someone and the next day they changed their mind while saying hurtful things so you started to run to your family in tears? That was just a coincidence, what also is a coincidence is Camilo joining the hug shortly after he came back into the house.
Camilo would hate to bring you to tears by turning into other people and saying hurtful things as them because he would just want to see you smile every second of the day. He has to do what he has to do in order to keep you safe and sound, besides he will always cheer you up with funny jokes and shape shifting. Maybe even steal some of tía Julieta cooking to make you feel better.
Even though Antonio doesn't fully know what is going on he wants to keep you by the family but he does not completely understand why you can’t have a special someone while Dolores is getting married, at least that was the case until Pepa and Félix told him that you might leave the family when you have found your special someone then he just basically left the room to run to you in tears asking you if you were ever going to find a special someone and if you will leave the family if you do.
Girl's night with the Madrigals?
``girls night with the madrigals (platonic)``
notes: i didn't know if you meant as in all the girls or a select few so i just did all of them D:
warnings: none :)
-you were good friends with the madrigals! you had known them for years and were well-known to be their helper
-they basically considered you a part of their family at one point, regularly inviting you to family dinners and always asking you on your opinion on certain things
-so one day they all decide to set one night aside for all of the girls to have some fun with you!
-felix, augustin, camilo, and antonio were encouraged to spend a boy's night out on the town (which they did. it was very chaotic.)
-abuela was the only one hesitant to agree to the girl's night. she didn't feel as though she was young enough to even entertain the idea, but eventually you were able to convince her she was welcome to join you all!
-your comforting words gave her that confidence and she agreed afterward
-the night of your designated hang out was incredibly fun!
-julieta happened to have one chore that she couldn't put off. she felt bad about not being able to completely commit but you guys reassured her it was fine and even helped out in the kitchen with her
-it most certainly ended up in a flour fight
-it was a good thing you packed extra clothes, too, or else you would've had to sleep with a bunch of flour on your clothes
-just kidding, dolores would've been more than happy to lend you some of her pajamas.
-speaking of dolores, after you all changed into clean clothes she'd probably gossip about the harmless but funny things she had heard once you all met back into the main room
-even pepa would laugh at the things her daughter said, a sunny smile on her face
-isabela would pitch in with her gift to make you guys gorgeous flower crowns and would decorate the entire house just for this occassion
-mirabel would come up with the idea to do each other's hair, crawling from her makeshift bed over to luisa
-while she did luisa's hair luisa did yours and surprisingly she was incredibly good at it!!
-i say surprisingly but remember that she probably does her regular hairstyle every day, so i'd imagine it'd actually make sense for her to be that good.
-before you'd all eventually go to sleep you'd have casita blow out the candles to you could tell scary stories
-after the little horror session everyone would be holding on to each other, laughing at how disturbing or terrifying the storyteller would make it seem
-and eventually the lot of you would doze off, leaving the boys to come back home to a bunch of sleeping ladies (and you, if you're not a girl, ofc!)
-a very fun night indeed
