Why You Should NEVER Drink From Paper/Plastic Cups
These cups contain a variety of harmful substances such as fluoride, lead, cadmium, microplastics, and more, which leach into the liquid you're drinking. 🤔

Do you have any information on plastic cups?
yes! plastic cups are a very diverse species group and there's a ton of different kinds. they're closely related to glass cups, their body texture is just different from adaptation to different environments. their closest non-cup relatives are likely bottles, which are not really closely related at all.
the most interesting thing about cups is the liquid inside them. all cups are born with at least SOME fluids, though the total amount and especially the color (and thickness) can vary. sick cups are more likely to have thick fluids. this fluid provides several uses for the object, including helping regulate body temperature, circulation, respiration, hormonal regulation, and more. it's kept inside their primary body cavity via a very thin transparent membrane on the top of their bodies. this membrane keeps air from entering the cavity and prevents small splashes of fluid from escaping, though its fragility makes it prone to being torn, punctured or otherwise injured. large amounts of fluid can escape if the cup is knocked over or is upside down. these objects have a naturally very good sense of balance to mitigate these issues, but accidents still happen. it also doesn't protect from things like water from swimming or rain, which causes the fluid to become diluted. this requires medical treatment to be fixed.
the membrane is strongest when the object is first born and gets weaker over the course of their life, sometimes disappearing entirely in old age. cups that are born without their membrane are almost always unable to survive. there ARE reports of cups surviving losing all their fluid, but this is rare and always causes health issues that require professional treatment. there are options for objects with injured membranes - it will grow back very slowly on its own (given lots of care), but for objects born without one they may need special lids or caps to stay safe. if your cup didn't have fluids inside when you adopted it and you haven't taken it to the vet before, DO SO IMMEDIATELY. liquid-less cups are prone to many health conditions and require specialized care.
personality wise, cups are typically a friendly species, though they can be a bit cautious. they get along with lots of object types! they're a strictly indoor species and removing them from their enclosure can cause them stress. they do best in small groups of other objects of different types, though it's extremely important they not be kept with objects that can cause their fluids to spill.
