Traditional portrait I did of my girlfriend! She's genuinely so gorgeous it makes me want to draw her a whole bunch in super pretty and romantic styles to compliment how beautiful she just naturally is <3

Plant of the Day
Friday 20 September 2024
This specimen of Cotinus 'Grace' (smoke tree) has been grown on a single stem. This vigorous deciduous shrub has purple leaves which turn reddish colour in autumn, and has feathery pink plumes of flowers that resemble smoke especially when backlit.

Lily of the valley (lat. Convallária majális).
🌿After the flowering period, the lilies of the valley form bright, orange berries. They stay on the plant for a very long time, so they can be found both in summer and autumn. Please be careful and attentive when picking wild berries. Despite their appetizing appearance, lilies of the valley have very poisonous berries, and eating them can lead to serious poisoning. Even heat treatment is not able to remove toxins.
Convallária majális).
