Ugh.

The new leaf that was super stuck broke off (yes I messed with it). The new leaf on my WP mom was browning at its stem because the circulation was being cut off, so I pushed her up and out of the sheath (it was already open; my humidity is super struggling). So I went to do the same with the baby one. All was well until I popped it forward and it snapped.

Because she is so young I'm not worried about it. If anything it will encourage her to be bushier (all of my Philos that I've had since they were young are pretty bushy 🤩). Not excited for her to have to start again but happy that issue is over with 😅

Potted my ZZ plant leaves that have rooted! They were in s. moss and were doing well. They would have continued to do well if I kept up with keeping the moss moist 🙃 There are six leaves left that I will get back to better health (not thirsty looking) before passing them off to a couple of my coworkers. I love being known as the plant lady at work. Really excited to see what this journey holds in store for us. These leaves originated from a ZZ plant branch that had broken off in the cafeteria at work. I took it home and propped some of the leaves.
