FORGOT TO POST PHOTOS FROM THE ROBERT PLAMT / ALLISON KRAUS CONCERT on Aug. 31st!! I cant believe I saw Percy sing. He was so charming and such a great storyteller and ugh his voice sounded absolutely amazing! They played four Zepp songs too and did a very cool folky spin on each. I must admit i cried a lot, it was very surreal seeing him live! Truly magical.

They played:

- Gallows Pole

- Rock n Roll

- Battle of Evermore

- When The Levee Breaks

Forgive my hooting and hollering in the video I was quite literally losing my mind. 😅

I just saw Robert live! GOD! His voice is still so great, and he can still hit some damned high notes. Levee was phenomenal, from the violin solo to the raw power of it. I love plant and Krauss <3

Robert's and Alison's friendship is giving me life. Can they have a comedy show together? They're hilarious. I could watch her impersonate him for hours. And it's so heartwarming to see too. They really have a great time whenever they're working together. It's honey and the golden hour. So warm.

Song Review: Robert Plant and Alison Krauss - “When the Levee Breaks” (Live)

Led Zeppelin fans looking for a recreation will be put out. But those open to a deliberate and creative reinterpretation will find big payoff in Robert Plant and Alison Krauss’ in-concert version of “When the Levee Breaks.”

Released as a standalone single, it finds the Odd Couple of Americana singing over an unrecognizable melody based around percussion and fiddle. But the vocals quickly give away the secret of the jungle beat ringing out of Appalachia.

In keeping with the world-music theme, the song looks to the Far East during a brief instrumental interlude that has the crowd going berserk when the vocals return. After a long time, rock ‘n’ roll electric guitar enters the fray as Plant begins to chant, I’m goin’ down, and the song - weirdly - fades.

Sound Bites’ money says most listeners will rectify that by simply taking the “Levee” for another spin.
