@planetsuper as for the whole 'why do the Gods need Avatars?' I have a theory. Khonshu and Ammit are able to fight in the 'normal' world BECAUSE they have Marc/Steven/Jake and Harrow. Their Avatars act as a sort of 'anchor', allowing them to physically manifest. They usually don't do this however, because, let's be honest, the Ennead are kinda freaky looking, and most humans would run screaming from them.

About That Moon Knight Finale

You know, I really could've gone without the giant Egyptian god battle. I mean, isn't that why they have avatars in the first place? So they wouldn't have to do any of the physical stuff themselves?

Don't get me wrong; I loved the finale! I just think big CGI Khonshu and Ammit fighting next to a big CGI pyramid was little bit... template MCU. And also because that wasn't the real battle in Moon Knight.

The central conflict, as we saw throughout the series, is the one within Marc Spector. That's why my favorite parts of the finale were the Marc-Steven scenes. I loved seeing Marc save and accept Steven, and witnessing the two bb bois finally working together harmoniously as one Moon Knight. Notice how smoother, less turbulent the transition was from Marc to Steven to Marc to Steven in the finale, compared to the first few episodes.

I mean, look at bb Steven go with his newfound fighting skills!
