There is no doubt that Udaipur is considered to be a gorgeous city in the state of Rajasthan as well as in India. We usually refer to it as the “City of Lakes” since most of the region has been filled up by numerous lakes that make it all the more attractive. Because of this, the city is sometimes called the “Venice of the East”. Here, we have mentioned some Udaipur famous places that you must visit when you come to the city in the near future.
Lake Pichola
This lake is the most famous in Udaipur as well as the oldest. Being an artificial lake, built in the year 1362, you will find many restaurants and attractive cafes surrounding this lake as well. You will be able to rent boats for riding in this lake which begins at 10 AM and goes until 5 PM. Here, we like to mention that the appearance of the lake becomes fantastic after sunset. As a result, the cost of boating is more in the evening compared to in the morning.
