Rylie enjoys making her outfits fit her Pokemon if she's not trying to wear a full Pokefanatic costume that day. She also puts her hair back sometimes and slathers it in product when it's humid, so it doesn't frizz into a big puffball so much ❤️

She's gonna hand out little treats to all her friends whether they're celebrating romantically or platonically this year (little heart chocolates her mom helped her make probably), with her sidekick Malasada the Lurantis (only here because she's pink)

Back in 2022, I had a comic planned where Rylie left home for the first time in her (adult) life, where her mom was calling her antagonizing her (lovingly) before started her adventure in Kalos. It was going to be an introduction to a series of very very short comics of her silly adventures, but I scrapped it when life got too busy LMAO

I don't think I'll be finishing it now but it seems like a waste unseen, so here are some of the pages! It was meant to contrast my first comic of her, where her mom made her feel anxious and lacking in confidence, compared to now where she can push herself forward regardless of what she says.

Funnily I had a Curious Cat ask I never actually drew related to this topic, before I fully envisioned how she'd be LMAO I think romantically her thoughts on relationships would be complicated. Like girl's surrounded by hot people of all genders and would get flustered over them acknowledging her, but I think the second it goes beyond that surface-level interaction she would have a lot of discomfort in most aspects of relationships and it's overwhelming enough to turn her off of them

Honestly, Rylie would probably only end up in one if she grew alongside someone very closely for a very long time, they'd have to be on such exact wavelengths with every moment that it'd be a very unique relationship that she wouldn't choose to approach with anyone else in her life

Sometimes I see people creating really cute lovey dovey ship art of their OCs (or they're yumeships), and I look at Rylie and go "ahhh I wish I could draw really lovely ship art of her with someone"

But I never do because honestly. I kind of see her as being on the aroace spectrums? She gets butterflies over seeing romance content and thinking about it, but when it's made reality she'd be the type to become uncomfortable with it. I can see her having several close lifetime friendships, maybe even one very close life partner, but I couldn't say it would be romantic......even if it were I think she's the type to be a little more "distant" and focused on her own interests and desires, lowkey the type to leave her family at home to go on a cool Pokemon adventure akdjfjskf it's not like she doesn't want to cherish her time with those around her, she would just want the freedom to act according to her desires and not be held back by anyone

and I think she fits the broad definition of asexuality well, probably more sex-positive if anything! But idk the kind of content I want to draw regarding shipping, it doesn't quite fit Rylie in my mind hahaha
